    Utilization of Telemedicine Services for Mental Health Care in Malaysia During the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Cross-Sectional Study

    There has been an increase in the use of telemedicine services due to the COVID-19 pandemic's severe impact on the delivery of mental health care. The purpose of this research was to analyze how mental health services were delivered via telemedicine in Malaysia during the 2009 COVID-19 epidemic. In order to better understand the experiences of adults who have used telemedicine for mental health treatment, a cross-sectional survey was carried out. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and logistic regression. Most people who used telemedicine for mental health care were content with the experience, suggesting that the services were widely adopted. The likelihood of using telemedicine services for mental health care increased considerably with younger age, higher education level, and the presence of preexisting mental health conditions. However, people have mentioned concerns about privacy, lack of personal contact with healthcare providers, and technical difficulties as reasons for not using telemedicine. These results show the promise of telemedicine services for mental health treatment in Malaysia and the necessity of maintaining efforts to remove obstacles to their use. Telemedicine services for mental health care in Malaysia and other nations need more study to determine their long-term efficacy and viability

    The purpose of this research is to analyse the efficiency of environmental policies in mitigating climate change and the part played by stakeholders, political stability, policy research and policy fairness. In this research, quantitative to complement quantitative method has used to establish that where policies are made through public consultation, the policies will be effective in achieving its set objectives. It also focuses on the aspect of political stability and leadership on the ability to enhance policies ‘implementation and enforcement. In addition, data driven policies aligned with current and contextualized scientific knowledge to tackle environmental issues were determined to be more efficient. Last of all, the research also proves that ANT’s policies are more sustainable in the long run and those that strive at enhancing social equity and environmental justice are vital for achieving other environmental objectives. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the combination of these factors in environmental policymaking is essential to fight climate change and support sustainable development

    The Role of Emotional Intelligence in Effective Decision-Making

    The purpose of this research was to analyze how EQ relates to managerial performance in Malaysia. One hundred fifty managers were polled on their EQ, personality type, and effectiveness on the work. Emotional IQ was found to have a favorable relationship with both rational and intuitive decision-making styles (r =.43, p .001), but a negative relationship with rational decision-making style (r = -.24, p .05). After accounting for factors such as age, gender, level of education, and length of employment, emotional intelligence was still found to be a significant predictor of work success (r=.33, p .001). The results of this study have significant consequences for Malaysian businesses and their leaders. The findings imply that administrators can benefit from enhanced decision-making and productivity by boosting their emotional intelligence. Better organizational outcomes, like improved productivity and profits, may result from this. But the present research has some restrictions, like using self-report measures and only surveying managers in Malaysia for its sample. A more diverse sample of individuals from a variety of settings, as well as more objective measures of emotional intelligence and decision-making, could improve future studies. This research contributes to the expanding literature on the importance of EQ to success in life and the workplace. The results indicate that emotional intelligence is a valuable trait for managers to have, and that businesses would do well to encourage their employees to cultivate these abilities

We begin by talking about the challenges faced by small-scale manufacturers and how innovation can aid them. Then, we dive into the Palopo case study, which centers on the work of the Palopo Food Entrepreneurship Network (JAWIKA) to aid farmers and other makers in creating high-quality beverages. As a consequence of this initiative, producers have seen an increase in revenue, new jobs have been created, and cultural traditions have been protected. Additionally, the article provides both lessons learned and suggestions for similar initiatives that could be implemented in other remote areas, emphasizing the importance of market research, access to resources and infrastructure, training and support. Collaboration and networking between producers, researchers, and marketing pros is crucial to the success of any undertaking. Supporting economic growth and preserving cultural traditions in outlying areas through the empowerment of local producers through the development of locally made snacks is, in general, an effective strategy

Digital Bangladesh, on the other hand, is a vision for a technologically advanced society where ICT is used to foster a knowledge-based environment and improve the lives of all citizens. The implementation of e-governance initiatives plays a crucial role in ensuring the realization of a Digital Bangladesh. By providing citizens with convenient and efficient access to government services online, e-governance can help to reduce corruption, improve transparency, and promote accountability. It can also help to bridge the digital divide and make government services more accessible to all citizens, regardless of their location or socioeconomic status. In order to realize Digital Bangladesh, the government of Bangladesh is dedicated to e-governance. A number of e-governance initiatives have already been implemented, such as the National Portal, the Digital Center Network, and the One Stop Service (OSS) Centers. These initiatives have made it easier for citizens to access a wide range of government services online, such as paying taxes, applying for passports, and registering businesses. Nevertheless, certain obstacles must be confronted to effectively achieve the goal of Digital Bangladesh. One challenge is the lack of digital literacy among a large section of the population. Another challenge is the need to improve the reliability and affordability of internet access. Furthermore, it is essential to devise and execute e-governance initiatives that are customized to cater to the distinct requirements of various segments of the population, including those experiencing poverty, the elderly, and those with disabilities. Despite the challenges, the government of Bangladesh is making significant progress in the implementation of e-governance and the realization of Digital Bangladesh. The adoption and execution of e-governance projects are significantly benefiting both individuals and companies across the nation.     Exploring Perceptions and Experiences of Comprehensive Sex Education Among Adolescents

    This study used a quantitative research technique to investigate teenagers' perspectives and experiences with Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE) programs. The study included replies from 450 teenagers aged 14 to 18, from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Adolescents valued the thorough covering of themes (mean = 4.56) and found the content relevant (mean = 4.72), highlighting good evaluations of CSE content and delivery. The study demonstrated the necessity of engaging teaching approaches (mean = 4.38) and provided light on the need for frank talks regarding sexual health (mean = 4.24). While participants reported feeling comfortable discussing sexual health (84.4%) and believing CSE enhanced their understanding (93.3%), the reported percentage of consistent contraceptive usage (40.0%) was lower, demonstrating the difficulty in transferring knowledge into conduct. These findings are consistent with past studies, highlighting the persistent challenge to overcome the knowledge-behavior divide. The study's conclusions call for CSE programs to include practical skill-building components as well as to foster inclusive spaces that encourage open discourse about sexual health. This study contributes to the conversation around adolescent sexual health education by stressing the need of participant-centered, holistic approaches that allow teenagers to make educated decisions about their sexual well-being

    This paper studies the CSR reporting practices of Asian Paints Limited for the period of five years from 2017-18 to 2021-22. The objective of this paper is to study CSR fund allocation and CSR amount spent on various CSR activities of Asian Paints Limited. Descriptive research design and content analysis method is used by the researcher for the study. The result shows that Asian Paints Limited is not able to spent full amount of CSR in the financial year 2017-18, 2020-21 and 2021-22 whereas able to spent full amount of CSR in the financial year 2018-19 and 2019-20. Further the result also shows that Asian Paints Limited is spending most of the amount of CSR in Vocational Skills and spending very less amount in CSR activities like Education, HealthCare, Disaster Management, Safe Drinking Water and Prime Minister National Relief Fund
