    Analysis of Motivation, Competence, Compensation and Work Discipline: Their Influence on Performance Moderated by Employee Career Development (Study at Samarinda City Secretariat)

    This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation, competence, compensation, and work discipline on employee performance through career development at the Secretariat of Samarinda City. The theoretical framework integrates human resource management principles emphasizing operational efficiency, employee empowerment, and sustainable career growth. A quantitative research method was employed, involving 339 employees from various departments within the Secretariat as the study population. Data collection utilized structured questionnaires, and analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) software. The study focused on relationships among independent variables (motivation, competence, compensation, and work discipline), the mediating variable (career development), and the dependent variable (employee performance). Findings indicate that motivation, competence, and compensation significantly affect career development and employee performance, while work discipline impacts performance directly but not significantly through career development. Career development was also found to have a significant positive effect on employee performance. The research highlights the necessity of structured career development programs and effective HR management strategies to enhance employee outcomes

    Child marriage is a problem for the government area, especially in Central Mamuju Regency. It is a common problem that requires prevention based on collaboration with several stakeholders involved in it. Governance. Research This aims to analyze the collaboration process in the prevention of marriage-age children in Central Mamuju Regency. This study uses qualitative research methods. Data collection methods include observation, in-depth interviews, and study documentation. Data sources consist of primary and secondary data. Data analysis uses interactive data analysis. As for the informants in the study, they are actors involved​ directly in the collaboration process in the prevention of wedding-age children in Central Mamuju Regency.Research results show that the collaboration process in the prevention of wedding-age children in Central Mamuju Regency can it is said Still Not yet walk with good. This is a dialogue between face, commitment in the process of collaboration, and understanding together in the prevention of wedding-age children in Central Mamuju Regency is still Not yet effective, but there is trust built​ between the actors to prevent and suppress the number of wedding-age children. As for the impact of the results so far this is in the process of collaboration in the prevention of wedding-age children in Central Mamuju Regency which has still Not yet shown significant changes

    Outcomes and Accountability in Cross-Sector Collaboration on the Implementation of Poverty Reduction Policies in North Kalimantan Province

    Poverty is a problem that is generally faced in almost all developing countries, especially densely populated countries like Indonesia. The problem of poverty is considered one of the factors that can hinder the growth of a nation, including Indonesia. One form of poverty in people's lives is through its political aspect, which is shown by the absence of organizations capable of fighting for the interests of the poor. This research aims to analyze outcomes and accountability in cross-sector collaboration in implementing poverty reduction policies in North Kalimantan Province. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods, namely observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants in this research are the authorities and are directly involved in cross-sector collaboration on the implementation of poverty reduction policies in North Kalimantan Province. The research results show that there are positive results in the form of increased welfare, education, and access to basic services for the community. Although formal performance assessments at the level of cross-sector coordination have not been carried out, accountability is still maintained through transparent and procedural processes in aid management. This reflects the principle of effective and accountable collaboration in achieving the common goal of reducing poverty

    Collaborative Governance in the Development of Salatiga as a Creative City of Gastronomy

    Gastronomy is not only related to food, but also encompasses cultural values, history, local identity, and community creativity. In the context of creative city development, gastronomy is considered a strategic sector as it can stimulate local economic growth, strengthen regional identity, and support sustainable tourism. Salatiga, a small city known as a "mini city," has a diverse range of legendary culinary traditions, including ten locally recognized culinary heritage items. This research aims to analyze the processes and mechanisms of collaborative governance in promoting Salatiga’s culinary sector as a sustainable tourist attraction. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies related to creative city development policies and programs. The results indicate that the development of the gastronomic sector in Salatiga is supported by collaboration among government bodies, academics, business actors, communities, and the private sector. Several strategic policies have been implemented, such as the recognition of local culinary specialties as intangible cultural heritage, culinary innovation training for business actors, and the integration of gastronomy into the basic education curriculum. However, the implementation of collaborative governance faces several challenges, including suboptimal cross-sector coordination and a limited public understanding of gastronomy. This study concludes that collaborative governance plays a key role in the development of Salatiga as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy. The success of this approach is reflected in the ASEAN Sustainable Tourism Award 2024 and the formal recognition of culinary heritage, which enhances Salatiga’s global competitiveness

    PT. Era Bangun Telecomindo Regional East Java (PT EBTEL JATIM) is a company dedicated to providing fiber optic cable network services starting from the installation of new networks, network repairs and network rejuvenation in East Java which experiences problems in waste management and the emergence of high project fines due to lack of knowledge of risk identification, risk mitigation and green supply chain management. The purpose of the research is to find out the risk mitigation analysis that occurs in implementing Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM). This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with the House Of Risk (HOR) method to analyze the risks within the company's Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) framework. Data collection through the interview and questionnaire process, and data processing uses formula functions in Microsoft Excel. The results of the study found that there is risk identification, risk assessment, and risk mitigation from the company's Green Supply Chain Management framework, which can reduce the cost of fines incurred by the company

    This article explores the effect of Transparency, Accountability and Community Participation on Village Fund Management. The objective is to analyze the partial effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable. Transparency, Accountability and Community Participation are independent variables, while Village Fund Management is the dependent variable. The research was carried out in   Mamasa Regency. The research respondents were 51 people selected by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained through questionnaire distribution. Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the data. The results are then interpreted. The conclusion was drawn that Transparency and Accountability have significant and partial effect on Village Fund Management. Meanwhile, Community Participation has no effect on Village Fund. Thus, Transparency and Accountability need to be considered by the village level government in Bambang Sub-district, Mamasa Regenc, who manages the village funds so that the objectives of providing funding assistance for village development can be achieved

    The Readiness of Local Governments in Indonesia in Implementing Talent Management Policies

    This study analyzes the readiness of local governments in Indonesia to implement talent management policies as part of bureaucratic reform, using the Organizational Readiness for Implementing Change (ORIC) theory. Although regulated under Permen PANRB No. 3 of 2020, policy implementation still faces challenges, including lack of leadership commitment, limited infrastructure, and organizational culture resistance. The research employs a qualitative literature review, analyzing policy documents, government reports, and prior studies. Findings reveal varying levels of readiness among regions West Java and Pontianak City have adopted digital talent mapping systems, while others still rely on less effective traditional methods. Key success factors include leadership support, transparent meritocracy, and human resource and IT readiness. Strengthening regulatory harmonization and digitizing personnel systems are expected to optimize policy implementation, enhancing the professionalism of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and the effectiveness of regional bureaucracy

    Effectiveness of Teamwork Excellence Training: A Case Study at PT ICI Manado

    This study aims to improve team performance at PT. Insan Cerdas Indonesia (ICI), Ranotana Branch, through a psychological intervention in the form of the "Teamwork Excellence" training program. The research began with an assessment that identified psychological dysfunctions within the team, such as ineffective communication, unclear role division, and low psychological safety. The methodology employed was a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches, including observation, structured interviews with the HR Manager and Branch Head, as well as psychological assessments using the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Team Climate Inventory (TCI). The intervention was conducted with seven staff members through a one-day experiential training. The results showed significant improvements in vision clarity, participative safety, task orientation, and support for innovation. Participants' average posttest scores increased by 18.57% compared to the pretest. Qualitative findings also indicated enhanced initiative, openness in communication, and team cohesion after the intervention. The study concludes that well targeted psychological interventions can effectively enhance team dynamics. It is recommended that the organization continue sustainable development programs to maintain and further improve team performance

    Training And Education for Umkm Actors Related to Digital Marketing Strategies and Business Financial Management in Paropo Village, Panakukang District, Makassar City

    This community service activity aimed to improve the capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Paropo Village, Panakukang District, Makassar City, to face the challenges of the digital era. Training and education are focused on two main aspects: digital marketing strategies and business financial management. The implementation method included a participatory approach through interactive training sessions, simulations, group discussions, and direct mentoring. The results demonstrated an increase in participants' understanding and skills in using social media and other digital platforms for product promotion and marketing. Furthermore, participants gained practical knowledge in simple financial record keeping, cash flow management, and short- and long-term financial planning. Evaluation of the activity, conducted through pre- and post-tests, demonstrated significant improvements in participants' knowledge and skills. It is hoped that this activity will have a sustainable impact on the development of participants' businesses and strengthen the competitiveness of MSMEs in the region. This activity also opens up opportunities for further collaboration with the local government and related institutions in digital-based MSME development

    Empowering MSMEs through Digital Marketing Training for Recipients of Ummul Mukminin Aisyiyah Micro Waqf Bank Capital to Increase Competitiveness in the Digital Market

    As the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia has great potential in developing the sharia economy, including strengthening the microfinance sector. Bank Waqf Mikro (BWM) is present as a sharia-based inclusive financial instrument aimed at supporting micro-enterprises around Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). However, low digital literacy and limited access to technology-based marketing remain major challenges for beneficiaries. This community service activity aims to increase the digital capacity of MSMEs assisted by BWM Ummul Mukminin Aisyiyah Makassar through digital marketing training and mentoring programs. Initial results show a 32% increase in participants' understanding of digital marketing concepts based on pre- and post-tests. As many as 85% of participants have successfully uploaded products to social media and marketplaces, although they still require further guidance. In addition, BWM's active involvement as a partner in the recruitment process, moral guidance, and evaluation, significantly contributed to the program's success. Future plans include intensive mentoring through one-on-one coaching, monitoring the program's impact through surveys and sales tracking, and developing a replication blueprint for MSMEs assisted by Aisyiyah in other regions. These findings strengthen the argument that digital training integrated with Sharia-based empowerment can be an effective strategy for increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs. With the support of the right ecosystem, similar programs can become models for sustainable economic empowerment in the era of digital transformation
