Strategy to Improve the Quality of Health Human Resources in Supporting the Effectiveness of Elderly Health Programs at the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office
This study aims to analyze strategies to improve the quality of health human resources (HR) in supporting the effectiveness of elderly health programs at the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office. The primary focus of the research is to evaluate the planning, organization, implementation, and control strategies implemented, as well as identify the factors that hinder the smooth running of the program. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with the approach of Gary Dessler's HR management theory. The study results show that health human resource planning is focused on the availability of health workers in terms of the number and qualifications needed. This process involves performance evaluation, work plan preparation, and cross-sector coordination. Organizing is carried out in stages, starting from the Provincial Health Office, Regency/City Health Office, to Puskesmas and Posyandu for older people. In its implementation, the Health Office coordinates with various parties to ensure the involvement of key and supporting health workers in the Ministry of Health's policies. Effective leadership from the Head of Public Health plays a vital role in monitoring and evaluating programs through coaching and direction, and motivating health workers to improve performance and resolve emerging obstacles. However, this study found several obstacles, including a lack of coordination across programs, delayed response of human resources to information updates, and suboptimal communication
The Influence of Customer Engagement and Relationship Marketing Orientation on Customer Loyalty in GoFood Services: The Mediating Role of Trust
This study aims to examine and analyze the effects of customer engagement and relationship marketing orientation on customer loyalty in GoFood services, particularly within the local context of Padang, Indonesia, with trust as a mediating variable. This quantitative research collected data from 225 GoFood users in Padang using a structured questionnaire. The analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) software. Both customer engagement and relationship marketing orientation were modeled as second-order constructs using the repeated indicators approach. The results indicate that customer engagement does not significantly influence trust and customer loyalty, although both relationships are weakly positive. In contrast, relationship marketing orientation significantly and positively affects both trust and customer loyalty. Trust itself has a significant positive impact on customer loyalty. Mediation analysis revealed that trust does not mediate the relationship between customer engagement and customer loyalty, but successfully mediates the relationship between relationship marketing orientation and customer loyalty. These findings suggest that in the context of GoFood services in Padang, relationship-focused marketing strategies are more effective in fostering customer trust and loyalty than engagement effort alone. Strengthening trust remains essential for sustaining long-term loyalty in digital food delivery platforms

Effectiveness of Government Services in Supporting Increased Agricultural Production
This piece of work explores how well services to farmers provided by government affect agricultural production among farmers, and it takes a quantitative research method. Since agriculture along with the farmers plays a central role in national food security and rural livelihood, the intervention of the government which mostly intervenes to increase productivity in agriculture through extension services, irrigation support, training programs, and subsidies on production inputs have been a practice. This research used a cross-sectional survey research design, with stratified random sample of the farmers and the data were collected using structured questionnaires. Important variables were the kind and number of government service they received and reported differences in their agricultural yield. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis of data were observed. The findings indicate that the greatest influence on agricultural productivity is made by extension services which are significantly correlated (r = 0.966) and exhibited the largest regression coefficient (0.814). Other positives are subsidies, training and irrigation, although to a smaller extent. The regression model explains 96.6% of the y Var with all the means of government support supporting the same. Those results address major implications in the body of research by providing a comparative, empirical evaluation of various interventions in one model. The paper has indicated that in order to ensure sustainable agricultural growth, the policy factors should focus more on improving and expanding the extension systems and reevaluating the models of providing other services
Anticancer Assay of Methanol Extract of Gracilaria salicornia Originating from the Hari Islands, Southeast Sulawesi, Against MCF-7 Cancer Cells
Marine macroalgae represent a promising but underexplored resource for anticancer drug discovery due to their diverse repertoire of bioactive secondary metabolites. Gracilaria salicornia, a red alga found abundantly in the waters surrounding the Hari Islands, Southeast Sulawesi, has not been previously studied for its cytotoxic potential. This study aimed to evaluate the phytochemical composition and anticancer activity of methanol extract from G. salicornia against MCF-7 human breast cancer cells. The algae were extracted using a gradient solvent system, with methanol selected for further testing due to its polarity and broad extraction capacity. Phytochemical screening revealed the presence of alkaloids, phenolics, and steroids/terpenoids—classes of compounds known for their cytotoxic, pro-apoptotic, and redox-modulatory properties. General toxicity was assessed using the Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT), with the extract demonstrating moderate toxicity (LC₅₀ = 561.26 mg/L), indicating the presence of bioactive constituents. Cytotoxicity against MCF-7 cells was evaluated using the MTT assay, yielding an IC₅₀ value of 414.6 mg/L. Although lower than the standard chemotherapeutic agent doxorubicin (IC₅₀ = 4.1 mg/L), the observed activity supports the hypothesis that G. salicornia contains compounds with therapeutic relevance. These findings suggest that G. salicornia harbors cytotoxic agents that act through diverse mechanisms, likely involving oxidative stress and hormonal regulation. While the crude extract exhibited only moderate activity, its phytochemical richness warrants further fractionation, isolation, and mechanism-of-action studies. This study provides foundational evidence for the potential of Indonesian marine algae in cancer drug discovery and highlights the need for continued exploration of native marine biodiversity as a source of novel chemotherapeutic agents
