Get PDFObjective: This study aims to determine the differences in the framing of news of cases of sexual harassment on Tribunnews.com and Detik.com in the application of gender perspective journalism in the April 2018 period. Data Source: Primary data in this study are news texts in the form of news texts in the online media Tribunnews.com and Detik.com regarding news of sexual harassment cases during the April 2018 period. Secondary data in the form of notes or reports that have been arranged in archives or data has been collected by data collection agencies and published to the data user community or not published. Method: this method is a qualitative method using framing analysis theory from Pan and Kosicki. Results: The results of the framing analysis in this study are attached to the attachment table 3. Conclusion: Broadly speaking, the two media have different framing directives in packaging cases of sexual harassment, especially if viewed from the selection of diction. A Design Of Cellphone Charging Station System As Public Facility Using Off-Grid Solar Cell
Get PDFSolar Power Plant (PLTS) is a more environmentally friendly generator, because this generator requires sunlight to be able to produce electrical energy. This PLTS is OFF-GRID so an energy storage place such as a battery is needed. The battery is also used to distribute electrical energy to the load where the load used is charging smartphones. And requires a solar charger controller that functions to regulate the electrical energy produced by the solar panel. This study analyzes the design of a smartphone charging station system as a public facility. In this test, 3 tests were carried out, namely testing how long it takes the battery to charge using solar panels, how long it takes the battery to discharge using a load, namely charging a smartphone, and conducting real-time testing by charging and discharging the battery together. The battery used has a total capacity of 12V 60Ah. In the battery charger testing method with a 100 WP solar panel, it takes 4 days, for the discharger testing using a load, it takes 6 days, and real-time testing shows that the output current fluctuates because the output current is very dependent on the intensity of sunlight that occurs when the solar panel charges the battery

The research method used was a quantitative method with sampling using simple random sampling with a sample of 250 respondents, then the data was analyzed using SEM-PLS analysis. An Analysis Of Solar Energy Potential As Energy Source In Bandar Selamat Village
Get PDFSolar energy is one of the renewable energy sources that has great potential to be developed, especially in efforts to achieve sustainable development goals. Bandar Selamat Village has geographical conditions that allow the use of solar energy as an alternative energy source. This study aims to analyze the potential of solar energy in Bandar Selamat Village and evaluate its feasibility as the main energy source. The research methodology includes a collecting data on sunlight intensity, incident angle, and cloud distribution in the area. The data is analyzed to determine the potential for solar energy that can be generated. In addition, this study also evaluates the efficiency of solar panels and energy storage systems that can be used in Bandar Selamat Village. An economic analysis was conducted to examine the initial investment costs, operating costs, and long-term economic benefits of implementing Solar Power Plants (PLTS). The results of the study show that Bandar Selamat Village has significant solar energy potential with fairly high sunlight intensity throughout the year. The efficiency of the solar panels used in the simulation also showed adequate results to support local energy needs. In terms of economy, although the initial investment costs are relatively high, long-term economic benefits such as savings in electricity costs and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions can provide substantial benefits to the local community. This paper described a study concludes that solar energy has great potential to be developed as the main energy source in Bandar Selamat Village. To realize this, adequate policy support is needed, as well as increased infrastructure and public awareness of the benefits of renewable energy. Thus, Bandar Selamat Village can be an example of the implementation of sustainable clean energy at the local level
An Analysis Of Biomass Power Generation From Waste With Briquette
Get PDFThe increasing demand for electricity and the efforts to reduce the environmental impact of waste drive the development of biomass-based power plants. This research analyzes the potential of utilizing waste as raw material for biomass briquettes to generate electricity. The waste used consists of organic materials processed into briquettes with specific characteristics, such as moisture content, calorific value, and density, to optimize combustion. The study was conducted as a case study on a small-scale biomass-based power plant. An analysis results show that waste briquettes have significant potential as a renewable energy source with relatively high conversion efficiency. Utilizing waste briquettes not only reduces the volume of waste sent to landfills but also lowers greenhouse gas emissions compared to fossil fuels. This study provides recommendations for improving briquette production technology and optimizing combustion systems to achieve better efficiency in biomass power plants
The Effectiveness Of Cultural Literacy Based BIPA Course Teaching Materials To Improve Students' Indonesian Language Proficiency
Get PDFThis research aims to determine the effectiveness of cultural literacy-based teaching materials for the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) course to improve students' Indonesian language proficiency. The research method used was an experiment with a pretest-posttest design with control group research design. Data collection uses interviews and tests. The research population is students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, semester VI of the 2024/2025 academic year who are taking BIPA subjects. The samples in the research were classes A and B. Research sampling was carried out using the intact group technique which resulted in class A as the experimental class and class B as the control class. The data analysis technique to determine the effectiveness of cultural literacy-based teaching materials for the Indonesian Foreign Speakers (BIPA) course to improve students' Indonesian language proficiency is carried out by analyzing pretest and posttest class learning outcomes using N-gain scores. Next, to determine the increase in Indonesian language proficiency of students in the control and experimental classes, a t-test was carried out using the SPSS program. The results of the research show that the teaching materials for the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) course based on cultural literacy to improve students' Indonesian language proficiency based on the n-gain score and n-gain score percent are effective to use. Based on the independent samples test output table, it is known that the Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05, thus there is a significant difference in effectiveness in the control and experimental classes after using cultural literacy-based Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) teaching materials to improve students' Indonesian language proficiency. So it can be concluded that students' Indonesian language proficiency increases after using cultural literacy-based Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) teaching materials
Performance Of The Lamangga Village Government In Murhum Sub-District, Baubau City In Achieving The Land And Building Tax Target (PBB-P2)
Get PDFThis study aims to explain the performance of the Lamangga Village Government in achieving the target of urban and rural land and building tax (PBB-P2). This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data sources are primary data and secondary data, Data is collected using interview techniques, observation and documentation. Data techniques were analysed by preparing data and organising data, reducing data and presenting data. The results showed that the performance of the Lamangga Village Government in achieving the Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) target was adequate in terms of responsiveness, productivity, accountability, quality, use of resources and costs. The responsiveness of the Lamangga Village government is good in terms of responding to the hopes and aspirations of the community. Responsiveness is done through socialisation, education, solution finding and facilitation related to PBB-P2 billing and payment. Productivity in achieving PBB-P2 targets can be said to be good. Although currently it has not reached 100% of the target and has not been very effective, there have been real and directed steps to achieve these conditions. Regarding accountability, the Lamangga Village Government follows the rules in collecting taxes. Referring to Baubau City Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2013 and the Mayor's Decree on PBB-P2 collection collectors in Baubau City. Although there is actually a new regulation of the HKPD Law number 1 of 2022, it has not been followed by a new regional regulation. The quality of the Lamangga Village government to fulfil the PBB target can be said to be adequate, because the Lamangga Village Government in serving the community does not discriminate, always fast and precise. The use of resources is well organised from planning to implementation of levies. The resources used, such as staff, collectors and RT and RW heads, are very instrumental and helpful. Honorarium and facility fees are paid by the city government through the Budget Implementation List at Baubau City Bapenda

Get PDFThis research aims to describe this Research Proposal regarding Employee Work Competence in Improving Organisational Performance at the Regional Secretariat of Buton Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive design that collects data by means of observation, interviews with informants. The data is tabulated as needed and then the data is analysed qualitatively descriptively including data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing so that it can produce an understanding and is proven by data analysis techniques and the validity of the data findings. The results of this study indicate that to see employee competence in improving organisational performance at the Regional Secretariat of Buton Regency according to Spencer and Spencer in Wibowo (2016: 273) competence is formed from five indicators: (1) Motives, (2) Traits, (3) Self-Concept, (4) Knowledge, (5) Skills. Thus, the goal of achieving employee performance competence in carrying out the performance of the regional secretariat of Buton Regency will be realised. It is suggested that the performance of employees at the Regional Secretariat Office of Buton Regency can be further improved by training and courses for employees so that employees at the Regional Secretariat Office of Buton Regency can become employees who have a good level of competence and can maximise employee performance, the Buton Regency Government must pay more attention to the quality of human resources of employees at the Regional Secretariat Office of Buton Regency by providing training to employees in order to improve employee competence, improving the governance system (management) of government affairs and community services by optimising the use of information and communication technology

Get PDFThe implementation of clean and healthy living behavior through the empowerment of BUMDes (Village-Owned Enterprises) management faces several challenges. These include: the limited capacity of BUMDes management to optimize partnerships, the low knowledge of BUMDes managers about clean and healthy living behavior practices, and the inadequate capacity of village officials in organizing partnerships and waste management to maintain and implement clean and healthy living behaviors, such as maintaining environmental cleanliness from organic and non-organic waste. This condition requires follow-up through community service programs. These activities aim to empower BUMDes managers and the community in adopting clean and healthy living behaviors. The objectives of this community service program are to help reduce partnership problems, enhance the knowledge of BUMDes managers as key drivers of tourism area development, improve their ability to manage village resources to boost the local economy, and strengthen the capacity of village officials in organizing partnerships and business management while promoting clean and healthy living behaviors. To achieve these objectives, the methods used in this program include: socialization and training on the implementation of clean and healthy living behaviors, participatory organization, and monitoring and evaluation. The outcomes of this socio-economic empowerment initiative include enabling the partner group (BUMDes management of Raya Village) to act as a driving force for the community, leveraging social capital, and sustainably developing BUMDes. This contributes to the overall improvement of community welfare through the enhancement of BUMDes operations

The results of the study explain that the organizational performance of the Baubau City Library and Archives Service is the quality of service provided by library officers is good but not yet as expected due to the lack of employees and skills, which affects efficiency and effectiveness. The quality of organizational performance of the Baubau City Library and Archives Service can be said to be good even though there are some employees who are still unable to complete their tasks on time due to limited abilities and the minimum number of employees, the attitude of cooperation built in the Baubau City Library and Archives Service is very good, seen from the involvement of employees in official activities helping each other in completing work, the initiative taken by employees is by providing good ideas and by carrying out tasks without waiting for orders from superiors. Factors that affect the Organizational Performance of the Baubau City Library and Archives Service are always based on organizational goals to be the direction and guideline for all organizational activities. The organizational culture of the Baubau City Library and Archives Service shows a good work culture with a positive and mutually helpful work climate, The leadership applied to the Baubau City Library and Archives Service is a leadership that can protect its subordinates by providing work motivation, providing clear direction, and always being open to input and discipline, Limited human resources are not an obstacle to the implementation of services at the Baubau Library Service because services are still carried out, but the addition of the number of employees is still carried out so that the workload can be overcome
