An Effect Of Pressure Bending In Single Mode Optic Fiber On Light Intensity Attenuation

    Get PDF
Single-mode optical fibers are widely used in modern communication systems due to their high data transmission capacity and low signal attenuation. However, the physical condition of the optical fiber, such as bending caused by mechanical pressure, can affect transmission performance. This research aims to analyze the effect of pressurized bending on single-mode optical fibers and its impact on the attenuation of transmitted light intensity. Experiments were conducted by varying the bending radius and pressure applied to the optical fiber to measure changes in the received light intensity. The results show that as the bending radius decreases and the applied pressure increases, the attenuation of light intensity increases significantly. The reduction in light intensity occurs due to the leakage of light modes from the fiber core as a result of physical deformation in the fiber structure. These findings are important for designing more efficient and resilient optical fiber installations, especially in environments prone to physical pressure and bending

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation, job satisfaction, and work environment on employee performance at KFC Outlets in the Sibolangit - Berastagi Area, both partially and simultaneously. The study population consisted of 42 employees, all of whom were taken as samples using saturated sampling techniques. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed quantitatively using multiple linear regression methods with the SPSS version 24.0 application. The results of the analysis indicate that work motivation, job satisfaction, and work environment have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Partially, work motivation has a regression value of 0.395, t count (5.098) > t table (2.024), and a significant 0.000 <0.05. Job satisfaction shows a regression value of 0.272, t count (3.040) > t table (2.024), and a significant 0.004 <0.05. The work environment has a regression value of 0.150, tcount (2.694) > ttable (2.024), and a significance of 0.010 < 0.05. The simultaneous test (F test) produces Fcount (168.652) > Ftable (2.852) with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, so that the hypotheses H1, H2, H3, and H4 are accepted. The work motivation variable was found to be the dominant factor with the highest regression value. The determination test shows that 92.5% of employee performance is influenced by work motivation, job satisfaction, and work environment, while 7.5% is influenced by other factors. The relationship between employee performance and these three variables is very strong

Innovative Strategies in Educational Management: Improving the Quality of Learning in the Digital Era

    Get PDF
This qualitative study explores innovative strategies in educational management to enhance learning quality in the digital era, with a specific focus on the Indonesian educational context. The research employs a comprehensive qualitative methodology including case studies, phenomenological analysis, and document examination to understand how educational institutions can effectively implement digital transformation strategies. The study reveals that successful digital educational management requires a multi-dimensional approach encompassing strategic planning, technology integration, teacher professional development, and stakeholder engagement. Key findings indicate that educational institutions implementing comprehensive digital transformation strategies show significant improvements in learning outcomes, with Indonesia's Merdeka Belajar initiative demonstrating a 14% increase in literacy competency and 27% increase in numeracy among students. The research identifies critical success factors including transformational leadership, data-driven decision making, personalized learning approaches, and robust digital infrastructure. However, challenges persist including the digital divide between urban and rural areas, inadequate teacher digital literacy, and infrastructure limitations. The study concludes that innovative educational management strategies must address these challenges through collaborative stakeholder approaches, continuous professional development, and equitable technology access to ensure inclusive digital education transformatio

An Analysis Of Use Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) On Power Consumption At Iconnet Network Transmitter Stations

    Get PDF
The use of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) plays a crucial role in maintaining power stability, especially in ICONNET network transmission stations, which require a reliable and uninterrupted power supply. UPS functions as a backup power source that prevents sudden power disruptions, reducing the risk of equipment damage and service interruptions in telecommunication networks. This study aims to analysed the impact of UPS usage on power consumption at ICONNET transmission stations. The research methodology includes measuring power consumption before and after UPS implementation, analysing power efficiency, and evaluating the impact of UPS on system reliability. Data were collected through monitoring electrical load, UPS operation duration, and power performance during grid outages. The results indicate that UPS usage can optimize power consumption efficiency by stabilizing voltage and frequency. Additionally, UPS contributes to enhancing the operational reliability of transmission stations by preventing downtime caused by power failures from the main grid. However, UPS efficiency is highly influenced by battery capacity, power conversion efficiency, and the electrical load characteristics of the transmission station. Thus, this study provides insights for network operators in selecting and managing appropriate UPS systems to improve energy efficiency and transmission system reliability

Conversation is the work of people to interact each other using language. Allthough all people do a conversation everyday, but in fact not all people know what aspects that exist when they are doing the conversation. If people really understand those aspects it will make the conversation become meaningfull and effetive. The research focuses on 3 aspects of conversation, those are turn-taking, adjency pairs and sequence. The main data of the research is a script of Madagascar 3:Europes‘ most wanted. This movie was choosen because the language used in this movie represent the way people do conversation in daily life and has theme about friendship for help each other to reach a goal. This research used descriptive qualitative method to analyzed the data based on theory by Jhoan Cutting about Conversation Analysis. The data were video and script. Duration of this movie was 01..33.25 hour. The researcher analyzed all utterances from all dialogues used by all characters in the movie. The result of this reseacrh showed that there were 92 data of pattern of Conversation Analysis; 4 turn taking, 9 interruption, 17 overlap, 4 attributable silent, 34 preferred response, 19 disreferred response. Most dominant data is preferred response form aspect adjency pairs. A lot of response given by the hearer agreeable with what is desired by the speaker

ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF DIGITAL MARKETING AND RISK PERCEPTION ON CUSTOMER DECISIONS IN USING SHARIA BANKING MOBILE APPLICATION

    Get PDF
Mobile banking is a digital service product provided by banks to facilitate daily transactions. In Indonesia, there is sharia-based mobile banking. However, there are still many customers who have not utilized digital mobile banking services. This is partly influenced by digital marketing promotions that have not been optimal. Not only that, the increasing risk of cybercrime makes customers have a negative perception of the use of mobile banking and prefer to use an automatic teller machine. The study seeks to determine whether risk perception and digital marketing have an impact on consumers' decisions to utilize mobile banking. This study employed a quantitative methodology and gathered data from a sample of 100 participants. The normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and hypothesis test (t test, f test, and R2 test) are the data analysis procedures employed. The study's findings demonstrate a favorable relationship between perceived risk and digital marketing's ability to influence consumer choices. The results of the test for coefficient of determination yielded an R2 value of 0.75, or 75%. Customers' decisions to utilize mobile banking are influenced by digital marketing outcomes and risk perception, while the remaining percentage is explained by factors other than the independent variables employed in the study
