Hegemony Of Javanese Political Culture In Regional Head Elections

    Get PDF
As for this paper, it reviews the theory of hegemony and political culture. In this case, the Javanese tribe is the main theme. Given that the Javanese tribe is a fairly unique tribe - because of their large number - it is even more interesting if it is connected to the Regional Head Election (Pilkada). There are a number of reasons why ethnic issues are more likely to arise in regional elections compared to national elections such as legislative and presidential elections. First, candidate battles in Pilkada are generally local. Many candidates are running to represent certain groups. This causes candidates who happen to come from or are supported by the majority group to use ethnic issues and sentiments to gain support from voters. This is different from elections at the national level where candidates who run actually want to be perceived as accepted by all groups or groups. Second, the issues raised in local elections are generally local in nature, while issues in national elections are generally general issues such as education, foreign relations, and so on. Candidates running in national elections (such as presidential elections) do not talk about specific conditions in a region, but rather about programs and efforts that will be made to overcome national problems

    Get PDF
Technologies a power transformer is a crucial component in an electric power system that functions to change electric voltage from one level to another. Reliable transformer performance is essential to ensure the continuity of electricity supply and prevent significant losses. One phenomenon that can affect transformer reliability is Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV). This paper described the reliability of power transformer performance against the influence of TRV through simulations and experimental measurements. The research methodology includes literature review, mathematical modeling, simulation using electric power system analysis software, and laboratory testing. The research results show that TRV has a significant influence on transformer reliability, especially under conditions of major disturbances. Recommendations for mitigating the impact of TRV include the use of additional protective devices such as surge arresters and improving the quality of transformer insulation. By understanding the influence of TRV on transformer performance, it is expected to increase the reliability and operational lifespan of power transformers, as well as reduce the risk of economic losses due to transformer damage. This research makes an important contribution to the development of protection and maintenance techniques for power transformers in modern electric power systems

This study analyzes the effect of external factors, such as interest rates, property capitalization value, and house price index, as well as internal factors such as the value of DER (Debt Equity Ratio), ROA (Return on Assets), and NPM (Net Profit Margin), on the price of property stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2013-2023. In this study, the population in this study were property stocks totaling 85 issuers of shares that were sloping on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. And in this study to determine the sample to be used, the researchers used the simple random sampling method. The method in this study uses quantitative methods with simple random sampling techniques. In this case the sample to be used is as many as 20 samples of property stocks listed on the IDX for the period 2013-2023. The data used is secondary data in the form of financial statements. the analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis technique, time series method, multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, Multivariate Test using SPSS. The results showed, ROA, DER, house price index and interest rates had a positive and significant effect on property stock prices for the period 2013-2023 while the capitalization value of the property had no significant effect on stock prices. The negative coefficient direction explains that an increase in market capitalization will result in a decrease in stock prices on the IDX for the 2013-2023 period. The results of this study show an Rsquare value of 0.580 or 58% of the influence of the independent variable (x) on the dependent variable (y) while 42% of the stock price can be explained by other variables. The implication is that investors and market participants can consider information about relevant external and internal factors in the property market. This research provides important contributions and contributions in understanding the dynamics of the property stock market in Indonesia and can be a reference for further researchers in this field

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the functions of the Village Council (BPD) in the administration of village governance in Situterate Village, Cikande District, Serang Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, involving in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The findings indicate that the understanding of BPD members regarding their duties and functions is still limited, particularly in the areas of legislation and supervision. The level of education and training of BPD members significantly affects the effectiveness of their task performance, with better-educated and trained members demonstrating greater competence in fulfilling their roles. Coordination between BPD and the village government also needs improvement, especially in communication and role clarity. Moreover, public participation in village governance remains low, primarily due to a lack of socialization and transparency in the decision-making process. Bureaucratic complexity and administrative hurdles frequently impede the implementation of BPD work programs. The study suggests enhancing training, education, and coordination, as well as simplifying bureaucracy to support more effective BPD task execution
