Indonesia is a developing country with many people working in the agricultural and small industry sectors. Therefore, it is necessary to develop technology in small industries in order to create various new innovations. One example is the development of digital device technology, such as microcontrollers. The use of microcontrollers can have a positive impact on work ease and efficiency. For example, the design of a room temperature control system can provide significant benefits in supporting efficient work activities in the medium-sized industrial and office sectors. This study proposes a simulation design of a temperature control system along with its implementation in the form of a prototype of a room temperature control system based on an Arduino microcontroller. This system is equipped with the ability to display room temperature via an LCD screen. The system design stages start from system architecture analysis, and temperature control system planning, to prototype creation. The result of this study is a prototype of a temperature control system with a temperature display feature on the LCD; if the room temperature exceeds the maximum limit, the cooler will be active, and conversely, the cooler will turn off if the temperature is below the minimum limit. This system uses several devices, including Arduino, temperature sensors, coolers, and LCD screens to display temperature

    Get PDF
This study aims to conduct a financial feasibility study of Perum DAMRI's business in the Serang branch with a focus on the transportation routes of Tanjung Lesung and Sawarna national tourism strategic areas. The study combines cost analysis, economic benefits, and financial aspects to evaluate DAMRI's operational performance on these routes. Through cost analysis, it was found that several factors such as vehicle operating costs, fuel, terminal levies, and tire replacement costs have an impact on DAMRI's profit margin. Furthermore, the economic benefit analysis shows that DAMRI can make a positive contribution to the national tourism area by providing better transportation access, but the results still need to be improved. However, when looking at the financial aspects, the two-year Net Present Value (NPV) analysis shows that DAMRI incurred losses in this project. A negative NPV, especially with a discount rate of 12.5%, indicates that the project did not achieve financial viability within the first two years of operation. However, the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) analysis reveals that the project has the potential to generate profitable returns, with an internal rate of return of approximately 13.68%. This suggests that if DAMRI can maintain or improve its operational efficiency, the project has the opportunity to be financially successful in the future. In conclusion, from various analysis perspectives, including BCR, NPV, and IRR, this DAMRI route business is currently not achieving the expected financial viability. Therefore, effective strategies and efforts are needed to ensure the viability and sustainability of DAMRI's operations on this route. Strategic measures could include improving operational efficiency, monitoring and controlling costs, and improving service management. More specific suggestions could involve improvements in cost management, fleet renewal, increased tourism promotion, cooperation with related parties, and the development of services that better suit passenger needs. With concerted efforts, DAMRI can maximize its business potential in Tanjung Lesung and Sawarna tourism areas and achieve better financial viability

    Get PDF
This research is motivated by the urgency of the government to realize national energy resilience with justice through the subsidy policy on 3-kilogram Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). The frequent inequality in distribution and scarcity of subsidized LPG highlights the importance of policy improvement to ensure equitable energy access for vulnerable communities. The study aims to analyze the government’s role and strategies in equalizing subsidized LPG prices as part of an inclusive and sustainable energy transition agenda. The method used is a literature study with a descriptive-qualitative approach, involving analysis of policy documents, scientific journals, and official government reports. Data analysis techniques are conducted through content analysis of regulations and literature related to subsidized LPG distribution and energy justice. The findings show that the policy of equalizing the 3 kg LPG price plays a strategic role in protecting the purchasing power of the poor, encouraging cleaner energy use, and reducing the state's fiscal burden. However, the effectiveness of this policy is still hindered by uneven distribution and subsidy misuse practices. The government’s strategies in LPG subsidy reform, utilization of the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS), development of the natural gas network, and involvement of local governments are considered crucial to strengthen a targeted distribution system and support the national energy transition. In conclusion, the policy of subsidized LPG price equalization significantly contributes to energy justice, but requires strengthened governance, data integration, and policy innovation to create a fair, sustainable, and inclusive energy system

An Analysis Of Electrical Energy Usage In Alternating Current (AC) Motors 1 Phase Using Inverter

    Get PDF
1 Phase AC motors are often used as drivers on equipment with full speed or relatively constant speed, especially in industry or households. Power consumption on 1 Phase AC motors with constant speed is greater, therefore it can cause waste in the use of electrical energy. To overcome this problem, a way is needed to save electrical energy, especially in the operation of 1 Phase AC motors. One effort to save on electrical energy consumption, especially in the use or operation of 1 Phase AC motors is by using a power converter in the form of an inverter. From the results of the study that has been obtained, the use of 1 Phase AC Motors when operated using two motors without being connected to an inverter, the power measured on the measuring instrument reaches 0.796 kW with electrical energy of 1.194 kWh. If the 1 Phase AC Motor is operated using an Inverter, the power measured on the measuring instrument reaches 0.408 kW with electrical energy of 0.612 kWh. The comparison of the use of electrical energy of 1 Phase AC motors using an inverter is lower than the use of electrical energy of 1 Phase AC motors without using an inverter, which can be used as savings in electrical energy in monthly usage

The Influence of Brand Image, Price Perception, and Electronic Word of Mouth on Purchase Interest on the Tokopedia E-Commerce Site (Study on Students in the City Of Semarang)

    Get PDF
The purpose of this study is to ascertain and evaluate the impact that pricing perception, electronic word-of-mouth, and brand image have on the inclination to buy on the Tokopedia e-commerce platform (study of students in Semarang City). Students in Semarang were the population under study in this study. Students from different Semarang-based institutions and universities make up this demographic. Since the dependent variable in this study is purchasing interest, the population that will be examined in this research consists of Semarang students who have made purchases online from August to September of 2023 using the e-commerce platform Tokopedia. Anyone who occurs to use the Tokopedia application for transactions involving purchases and sales is included in the sample from this population. The findings of this study indicate that interest in making purchases on the Tokopedia e-commerce platform is significantly, favorably, and strongly influenced by the brand image variable (X1). The brand image that was acquired from Tokopedia is fairly positive, but there are a few indicators that should be taken into account. These include the benefits (benefits) associated with the usefulness of the product and the brand attitude (brand attitude), which is the consumer's attitude regarding their overall assessment of the brand. When taken as a whole, brand image can persuade customers—in this example, Semarang City students—to make purchases. The findings of the research indicate that purchasing choice variables are significantly, strongly, and favorably influenced by the electronic word-of-mouth variable (X2). Electronic word-of-mouth about interest in purchases is fairly strong; nevertheless, there are a few areas that need to be addressed going forward, including the frequency of both positive and negative evaluations, as well as the accuracy and completeness of the information. In general, electronic word of mouth can stimulate buyers—in this example, Semarang City students—to make purchases. The same is true of how people perceive prices
