Building subsidies to identify signs of sexual abuse against children and adolescents

    No full text
Sexual abuse against children and adolescents is considered a serious public health problem. Any contact or interaction with a minor that includes touching, any type of sex or caressing is characterized as violence and most of these abuses take place at home and are carried out by family members. This violence is underreported, mainly because it occurs in homes and one of the difficulties encountered by health professionals who deal with situations of violence is the lack of language and concepts that combine medical knowledge with that of other areas, such as social and legal. In view of this perspective, the study sought to create subsidies that could help health and administrative professionals of a Family Health Unit to identify suspicious signs of this type of violence against this public, reporting tools, in addition to the reception of victims and the family. To achieve this objective, a booklet was developed with information about the sexual violence that children and adolescents are susceptible, warning signs and how to act in the face of violence, in addition, an easily accessible online page was created, via QR CODE, containing the educational booklet, social networks of public agencies for the protection of children and adolescents and the contacts necessary to make complaints. Training was also carried out with all the health and administrative professionals of the unit. There were 1337 accesses to the QR CODE and the page, indicating propagation of the material. Data on the increase in reports of sexual violence have not yet been obtained

The system uses MSP430F5529 as the control core, TPS63070 and TPS61088 as the voltage boost and step-down modules, and the black-and-white squares of the track are detected by the grayscale sensor to complete the tracking. The system is divided into 2 parts: software and hardware. The hardware part of the system includes 5 parts: motion chassis, MSP430F5529 MCU, power supply module, sensor module and motor-driven module. The software part makes logical judgments by collecting the digital signal returned by the grayscale sensor, obtains the deviation through weight comparison, and then GPIO outputs the corresponding PWM wave to control the direction of the car

3D PRINTING AS A TOOL IN ANATOMY TEACHING: AN INTEGRATIVE REVIEW

    No full text
Anatomy is essentially a three-dimensional content and learning its structures, through 3D impressions, for example, is of notable importance. In this context, traditional teaching methods, despite being highly effective, still have some limitations. Therefore, 3D printing has been introduced in the teaching of Anatomy, bringing several advantages, such as accuracy, personalized study and easy handling. Based on these premises, the objective of this work was to carry out an integrative review on the use of 3D printing in the teaching of human anatomy. A study was carried out in science direct, PUBMED, Scielo databases between 2010 and 2021 using the following descriptors 3D printing and teaching of anatomy. It was found that among the benefits of using 3D parts, there are: accuracy, durability, ease of production, good cost-benefit ratio and reduction of security risks linked to the fixation of cadaver and plastinated specimens. It was observed that in some studies most students preferred the use of 3D printing to traditional methods. Other studies have shown the importance of the use of 3D printing as a complementary tool to traditional methods of teaching anatomy. It was found that the use of 3D printing as a teaching tool may reduce the demand for bodies and overcome some of the governmental legal and ethical problems in the cadaver study, further studies should be carried out to assess the long-term impact of using 3D printing

Socioeconomic (Endogenous) Development Index of Municipalities in Free Trade Areas (FTA) linked to SUFRAMA: A Multifactor Analysis

    No full text
The objective was to analyze the regional development of the nine cities covered by the SUFRAMA policy in comparison with nine other Amazonian municipalities not covered by this policy, in order to identify the municipal performance achieved in the face of the Brazilian Amazonian reality. The theoretical foundation of this work is linked to the theory of endogenous development associated with the institutionalist theory of Douglass North and the poles of development in Schumpeter and Perroux. A multivariate factorial data model was used to extract the scores for the construction of indices, using the SPSS statistical tool, version 22, using the factor analysis technique developed similarly to the main components. It was possible to build socioeconomic development indexes and, with that, proceed with the due analysis intrinsic to the epistemological issue of this work. The data showed adequacy to factorial studies and allowed us to observe, in general, the low level of socioeconomic development of the surveyed municipalities, however, with a more favorable situation for the municipalities covered by the SUFRAMA policy

The study sought to investigate the relationship between head teachers’ supervision practices and academic performance in public primary schools of Mwingi Central Sub County, Kitui County, Kenya. Statement of the problem, poor academic performance in Public primary schools in Mwingi central Sub County where schools were registering low academic performance compared to other Sub counties. The specific objectives that guided the study was, to assess the influence of head teachers’ classroom observation on academic performance in public primary schools in Mwingi Central Sub-County. Literature was obtained from various books, study journals, articles and reports from both electronic and print media. The study applied the concurrent triangulation research design .The target population was 1368 ,From the three zones simple random sampling were applied in selecting 6 head teachers and 61 teachers. The study utilized questionnaires as data gathering tools where test -retest technique was used to test reliability of the research instruments and the Pearson product movement correlation Findings were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. The findings revealed that classroom observation practices by the head teachers were not taken seriously. From the study findings the study suggests the following; the ministry of education (MOE) and the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to employ strategies that are aimed at balancing the head teachers’ core functions to ensure that they have sufficient time for conducting instructional supervision practices. Also head teachers needs to play a mix between hands-on and delegated approaches of carrying out classroom supervision practices. CQASO should implement mechanisms to ensure that there is effective coordination in ensuring that classroom observations is done frequently to help in bridging the gaps that occur as a result of head teachers’ laxity

THE LETTERS, TEACHING AND PEDAGOGY OF THE ENVIRONMENT: HOW TO THINK HARMONIOUSLY THE HUMAN-ANIMAL-NATURE RELATIONSHIP

    No full text
The present paper is part of a discursive study in the field of human sciences to rethink the devastating practice of bird depenage in the contemporary world. Our intention is to conduct a research focusing on the large area of Letters, to observe how some practices constitute weight for the regeneration of the environment. Therefore, in what we call the pedagogy of the environment, we propose to discuss what large electronic portals have evidenced about the human action of bird depenage, alerting to the consequences of excessive practice. This manuscript allows dialogue between the fields of knowledge of languages and nature sciences, from data devilgados by the PORTAL ANDA. We focus on critical looks to discuss the depenage of live birds for the human consumption of feathers. All work involves processes of animal suffering and human satisfaction, being possible to reflect, through ecocriticism, how to deal harmoniously with the environment

    No full text
The changes related to the occupation of Brazilian territory that took place in the 70's and 80's brought great transformations and challenges to cities, a fact that triggered the need for organization and management of these territories. From the Brazilian Federal Constitution of 1934, a movement emerged regarding the legal treatment of issues related to urbanism and its cultural heritage. The legal regulations’ evolution process that permeate the cities continued to walk with the Constitution of 1988 and the City Statute (2001), which in turn, guides Brazilian municipalities regarding their public administrations through the Municipal Master Plans. In this way, the study in question is justified based on the issues that permeate cities, with their complex and constantly changing systems. The present research is directed to emphasize theoretical approach studies on cultural heritage through the vision of the city. This work is based on bibliographic research, of a basic nature, as well as presents a qualitative approach to the data collected, and treated from the analytical-synthetic approach method, initially presents the information with a macro view, reducing the analysis to understanding micro of the study object
