Analysis of the optimization of the construction process of ecological brick compared to ceramic brick: A literature review
The brick is composed of water, soil and cement, having an easy manufacturing process, with short construction and low cost is not subjected to burning is manufactured by a very different process from ceramic blocks, the same goes through a hydraulic press. This type of brick has characteristics that provide quality, sustainability, beauty, and above all savings in the total cost of the work. When used in construction are eliminated some steps and the execution time in the work. A block wall or ceramic brick will need roughcast, sketch, plaster, seamer and painting, besides considering the cost of these materials can not forget the labor that corresponds to an average 50% of the value of the work. But the great advantage over the other bricks is its construction system, once raised the wall this is ready, does not need finishing, and the pillar structure and beams are ready with it. Electrical and Hydraulic Installations are easily installed without the need for breakage and waste. These bricks do not require the use of mortars for laying, coatings such as plastering for regularization and finishing of walls, in addition to accelerating the work with their fittings that facilitate the alignment and plumb of the walls. The objective of this work is present through a literature review of optimization processes that involve the ecological brick. in addition to accelerating the work with their fittings that facilitate the alignment and plumb of the walls. The objective of this work is present through a literature re-view of optimization processes that involve the ecological brick. in addition to accelerating the work with their fittings that facilitate the alignment and plumb of the walls. The House of Spirits – The Female Influence and the Chilean Military Dictatorship
The present work is the result of the reflections provided by the classes of the Postgraduate Program in Sociocultural Practices and Social Development, at the University of Cruz Alta - UNICRUZ (RS). Thus, the proposal of analyzing and explaining the literary work "The House of Spirits" by the Chilean writer Isabel Allende was brought forward. Book that became a bestseller in Brazil, after its release in April 1984. This work aims to examine the construction of Isabel Allende's success in the 1980s, through the biographical and historical analysis of the representations of Chile, the Chilean military dictatorship and the reference to the female gender, elements that appear in her writings. The history of the work "The House of Spirits" portrays the life of the Trueba family, which over four generations was part of the social and political movements of Chile. The main figures of the plots are always women, especially the one who embodies the role of the writer, with the function of organizing and recreating the memory of the family in a text that allows establishing deep connections with other narratives of Latin American women
The Vulnerability of Religious Minority in Indonesia due to the Implementation of the Blasphemy Law
The establishment and application of blasphemy law in Indonesia is generally under the justification of maintaining public order, preventing violent-conflict, and protecting the enjoyment of the right to freedom of religion. However, when the blasphemy law should be applied to adjudicate an internal religious conflict among the sects then the debate arises on whose interpretation and how it will be referred by the State authorities as demarcation or exclusionary standard to distinguish between the deviant religion and legally valid ones. Issues on the fragility of fair and impartial trial as protection to the existence of religious minority group therefore becomes very central due to the implementation and application of blasphemy law will be always influenced by power relation among the involved parties. This paper is intended to explore Tajul Muluk case that has been exhaustively ruled by all level of Indonesian courts in order to reveal complex roles of judiciary in applying service-conception of blasphemy law into first-order reason of person’s faith. Source-based legal reason of the court which merely refers to the historical or social facts as texted in the blasphemy law with prejudice to human rights’ moral test has been paradoxically widen penumbra of legal rule to uncertainty that undermines access to justice for religious minority group especially when addressing social conflict
Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of Quilombola Women: A Multifactorial Analysis on The Preventive Examination of Uterine Cervical Cancer in Northern Brazil
O Cervical cancer is considered a persistent public health problem, the access to health services, as well as women's adherence to the Pap smear, is one of the main tools to change this scenario, favoring the early detection of the disease. When considering the morbidity and mortality rates, taking into account the color, it is evident that black women need a different look. Given the above, the objective of this work is to analyze the knowledge, attitude and practice of quilombola women in Amapá about the preventive examination for cervical cancer. The study has a quantitative approach, of an applied nature, of the Survey type, having as reference the Knowledge, Attitude and Practice Survey (KAP) on the PCCU exam. The field research was carried out in the Quilombo do Curiaú in the state of Amapá. The data were submitted to the SPSS version 25.0 program, for the description of the statistical results, being considered relevant the results with p<0.05, which made it possible to trace the following socioeconomic and anthropometric profile: age from 18 to 33 years old (43.75 %), Catholic (92.50%), single (52.50%), complete high school (31.35%), without paid activity (41.25%), month family income from 1 to 2 minimum wages (37 .50%) and an average of five family members (36.25%). They present weight 69.34 (Me), height 161.06 (Me), Body Mass Index (BMI) 26.685 (Me), waist circumference (WC) 86.97 (Me), hip circumference (HC) 106 .77 (Me) and CC/HC ratio index 0.8172 (Me). Thus, the study revealed that 42.50% meet the parameter considered normal for BMI and 68.75% have a low risk for the development of Chronic Non-Transmissible Neoplastic Diseases, according to CC/HC. Using the criteria proposed by the KAP survey as a reference, 26.25% had adequate knowledge, 30% had adequate attitude and 37.5% had adequate practice, demonstrating a negative proportional assessment in relation to the PCCU exam. The KAP survey was carried out, which showed that only 36.27% of the women were characterized with Adequate Knowledge, 30.00% with Adequate Attitude and 37.5% with Adequate Practice, highlighting the need for educational actions at this topic with the female quilombola population, with a view to increasing the adherence to the uterine cytopathological examination within these communities
The Acceleration, Education and Resonance
This article aims to reflect on the themes of Acceleration, Education and Resonance. The work discusses the educational process, already exhaustively addressed, from a perspective not yet explored in the work of Hartmut Rosa: the historically feasible process of acceleration and its bet on the construction of resonant relationships in the educational process. The constitution and consolidation of the educational process is feasible, and that it is continuously modified with processes of ruptures, advances and setbacks, in the name of Culture. Rosa exhaustively explores the process of acceleration of the world in her work “Acceleration”, as well as underscores in “Ressonance” the need to build an “oasis of resonance”. This work, as a reflexive exercise, dares to weave an arrangement in which it is not possible to think or even build an “acceleration oasis” in the educational space without this construction not considering the categorical imperative of time
Challenges in Primary Level Inclusive Education in Bangladesh
Bangladesh’s step towards inclusive education was given incentive by its involvement in major international declarations. Bangladesh agreed with the declaration of Education for All, in which education is to be provided to all children with an inclusive approach. In addition, Bangladesh is also committed to achieve Millennium Development Goals, which articulated the rights of all children into education through uniform system. It is important to note that the trend of enacting inclusive education policy and legislation in Bangladesh is mainly based upon the international treaties. The purpose of this paper is to highlight challenges in inclusive education for the policy formulators, implementers, and future researchers to take measures accordingly to universalize inclusive education in the country. The challenges identified in inclusive education concerned unfulfilled requirements of children with special needs, unfriendly situation, inadequate material and non-conforming curriculum, misinterpretation and mismanagement by stakeholders, restricted political and social backing, and adverse physiography. Pre-service training of teachers, along with continued assessment, collaboration and coordination to overcome challenges of inclusive schooling is recommended
Difficulties in maintaining productivity and engaging teams in home office
Technological advances have allowed for new work concepts, modifying the way communication takes place, through tools, platforms and devices, enabling models such as home office. The difficulties of maintaining productivity and engaging teams in a home office regime is a relevant reality for many organizations today. In this scenario, this research aims to identify the challenges of maintaining productivity and engaging teams in a home office regime. To achieve the proposed objective, an exploratory, descriptive, and quantitative research was carried out, with 37 process managers. With this research, it was concluded that the evolution of home office management is intense, but aspects such as managing the journey, adapting the environment, training the team through the online mode, methods of maintaining commitment, generating networking alternatives and exchange of experiences, can be improved by organizations over time
Indicators To Evaluate Research Efficiency in Higher Education Institutions
The comparison of efficiency between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) based on quantitative and absolute data, is it may not be the most honest way to establish efficiency levels. This study aims to propose indicators for evaluating efficiency in research to compose the management report of intangible assets in HEI. A search was performed in the SCOPUS bibliographic base to identify the intellectual production of the Federal University of Sergipe in the period from 1977 to 2019. The results demonstrate a positive trend in the growth of the volume of publications and that the intellectual production of the university is the result of its integration in national and international networks of scientific collaboration. A management report that aims to demonstrate the value of the university should accurately contemplate the intangible assets produced by it, which could be used as indicators of research efficiency. The disclosure of the value of intangible assets is a strategy to increase the value and credibility of the brand, but also a form of positive accountability to its maintainer and to society
Risk Prediction of Delay in the Execution of Public Works Through Fuzzy Logic: Case Study in the City of Manaus
In Manaus, delays in public constructions are not uncommon as their execution deadlines are often extrapolated, even though such deadlines are obtained through preliminary technical studies. The causes that give rise to such delays are varied ranging from the occurrence of rain to the addition of quantities of existing services or additions of new services. In this research, we sought to obtain a model, using fuzzy logic, to predict the risk of delay that some variables may cause in the period of execution of the work, allowing the public administration or the contracted company to adopt measures they consider essential to mitigate this delay. Initially, documentary and bibliographic research were carried out to identify the causes that most contribute to the occurrence of delays in the works. Once these causes were identified, the construction of the fuzzy inference system was started, with six of the most significant causes identified in the research being considered as linguistic variables, namely: the hiring factor, which corresponds to the quotient between the value of the proposal. of the company and the amount budgeted by the administration; the value of the work, which is the value of the contract for the work; the engineering execution drawing, which are the engineering drawings used in the works; the alteration of quantities, which are changes in the quantities of existing services or addition of new services; authorization from public agencies, which corresponds to the permission or support of any public agency or public company for the execution of the work; and the rain. For the simulation of the created fuzzy inference system, real data from four public works were entered, and the answers of this simulation were satisfactory because they are confirmed by the documentation of the respective works. It is concluded that the system proved to be useful, as it was possible to predict the risk of delay in the execution of public works in the city of Manaus, and it can be used by both the public administration and the contractor to mitigate the causes of delays in the execution of public works
