    No full text
This article presents aspects of a tool to assist in predictive maintenance based on vibration analysis in rotating machines using wavelet transform and artificial neural networks. The work analyzed the experimental results of applying a methodology based on the combination of the discrete wavelet transform using a Gaussian window with an artificial neural network for condition monitoring of three-phase induction motors. This approach consisted of simulating faulty and flawless signals using software developed in LabVIEW, their processing, appropriate choice of signals, establishing statistical measures of the chosen signs, and forming the input vectors presented to the artificial neural network. The input vectors are constituted based on statistical measures involving measures of central tendency (mean and centroid), measures of dispersion (RMS value and standard deviation), and a measure of asymmetry (Kurtosis). The most promising configuration was the Multiple Perceptron Layer (MPL) network with four hidden layers containing 256 neurons. Such network showed satisfactory performance for both mechanical failures, with a correct range of around 97%. These results proved to be very effective for detecting mechanical failures, thus being an auxiliary instrument in predictive maintenance

    No full text
Brazil has stood out as a major producer of renewable energy in the world, despite advances in terms of its use, it is not yet a potential collaborative generator due to the inability of a bidirectional flow over the existing energy matrix, which has, in its extension, a strong limitation from the topological point of view, therefore, looking for computational models that operate within optimal solutions, supported by Graph Theory, is the objective of this work, making use of the Kruskal and Vertex Cover algorithms. to identify an alternative capable of producing a usable scenario under the implementation aspect and with a reduction of the costs under this expansion

Visitation rights of adolescents in the provisional and sentenced female unit in Porto Velho/RO

    No full text
Article 124 of the Statute of Children and Adolescents (ECA) of Brazil requires that adolescents in a socio-educational measure must remain hospitalized in their city of residence or the city closest to the home of their parents or guardians. In the Rondônia state, the socio-educational steps of internment are the responsibility of the State Foundation for Socio-Educational Assistance (FEASE). Thus, when a female adolescent commits an infraction in the municipalities of the interior of Rondônia, she must be referred to comply with the socio-educational measure of internment in the capital Porto Velho, Brazil. However, the right to visit these adolescents is impaired since many family members do not have the socioeconomic conditions to pay for transportation and accommodation. Based on this assumption, this research aims to analyze and discuss the rights of female adolescents who are serving socio-educational measures in Porto Velho concerning the right to visit. With a qualitative approach, the methodology consists of conducting interviews at the Female Socio-Educational Unit of Porto Velho/RO. The results show a failure on the socio-educational measure execution from the agency and, consequently, the violation of the human rights of these adolescents

The evolution of studies and learning about the functioning of the human genome made gene expression techniques increasingly explored and applied in recent years' research. There is a need for a deeper understanding of these materials' toxicology in bioinformatics and nanotechnology. Therefore, the present work aims to present the gene expression levels of three studies using three different human cell lines (co-culture of Caco-2/HT29-MTX, SAE, and THP-1 cells), submitted to NPs of carbon dioxide of titanium, via free bioinformatics tools, such as the Limma package (Bioconductor) and Reactome. The data were prepared and standardized by executing the Limma package (Bioconductor), and the results of the most and least expressed genes were used in Reactome. Results show the activation of some genes in common to the experiments, highlighting the co-culture samples of Caco-2/HT29-MTX and THP-1 cells treated with titanium dioxide Nps

    No full text
The purpose of the text that led to this work was to investigate and analyze some aspects of the literacy process, considering the writing growth in the current cultural context. Affirming that our culture is growing is to understand it as a text which has been structured in dialogic, procedural systems, and has been constituted by languages of different encodings. Within this perspective – growth in writing – we have reconsidered the concept of literacy, in the identification of some of its constituent elements

FILM ART AND CONVERSATION CIRCLE AS AN LEARNING STRATEGIES IN BIOETHICS FOR COLLECTIVE SUBJECTS

    No full text
Films are important tools of communication, expression, and perception of the world and important tools in the teaching and learning process. The present article aimed to analyze the discourses that emerged from the cinematographic work, having the conversation circle as a strategy for problematizing bioethics in the work process of teachers, students, and health workers. This is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, with data collected from an interview guided by a semi-structured script. Faculty, students, and health workers participated in the study. Data analysis based on the content analysis technique, supported by the Atlas.ti version 9.0 software, enables the identification of two thematic categories: film art as a strategy for bioethical reflection and bioethical implications in teachers’ daily practices, students, and health professionals. The results revealed that the use of cinematography engenders a new formulation of the teaching-learning process, allowing participants to reflect on everyday ethical dilemmas. It’s concluded that it’s imperative to broaden debates with bioethical approaches, anchored to cinematographic art, as an effective method to stimulate reflective thinking

The present production presents the development of Cognitive Analysis through the application of the Cognitive Analysis by Telematic Mediation methodology - ANCOMT (SALES, 2020) in a situation of technologically mediated interactions in the field of Law. The objective of this work is to analyze the popular expression of thought in an open session of the Federal Supreme Court (FSC) dated 08/31/2021, seeking to contribute to the identification of the ways of popular interaction that are configured from the online transmissions of open sessions of the Courts of Justice, also contributing to the strengthening of the field of Cognitive Analysis. This is an interdisciplinary, qualitative approach, which begins with a literature review, then a theoretical-conceptual discussion, proceeding with the presentation of Cognitive Analysis itself, with the ANCOMT methodology.  It is concluded by the pertinence and potential of Cognitive Analysis as a methodological path for the understanding of popular interactions in telematic mediation platforms in different sectors of society, including the field of Law. As a result of the analysis developed, it was identified that in the analyzed environment, completely open to free participation and popular expression without any mediation, there is practically no dialogue and collective construction, characterized by individualized expressions of preconceptions and the exercise of rabid militancy. However, it defends the importance of the maintenance and expansion of these spaces for the transparency promotion and dissemination of content of public interest, inferring the possibility for the evolution of these interactions to more collaborative forms from the opportunities of participation by the subjects

Botulinum toxin (BT) considered a potent substance with high potential in several treatments, has also been gaining space in dental clinics for the treatment of various pathologies, is safe when used in appropriate doses and contraindications are respected. Before starting BT therapy, it is necessary to communicate the patient about all the potentialities and limitations of treatment. The toxin has become an efficient option for the treatment of facial paralysis (FP), a pathology that causes contraction in the facial muscles, causing temporomandibular dysfunction, damage to the process of eating food and liquids, as well as aesthetic constraints, compromising the patient's quality of life. The objective was to present the application of BT as a therapeutic option in FP. This is a review with qualitative data researched in PubMed, VHL, SciELO and LILACS. Seventy-two studies were found, excluding 27 that were outside the inclusion criteria, and 45 studies were selected. It was found that the first step to its use is to analyze the patient, evaluating the facial resuscitation procedure, defining the possibility of reversal or considerable improvement. Subsequently, it is essential to determine the cause of paralysis, its duration and the functional deficits that the patient presents, after establishing the cause, its indication is evaluated. It is essential that an individualized evaluation is always performed, proposing a realistic therapy, and making the patient aware that it is a temporary treatment. The medical literature also shows a positive effect for the use of BT in the treatment of FP, improving the quality of life, especially the patient's self-esteem
