Analysis of the resistance of the interlocked floor (paver) of concrete with the addition of the mass.
New elements are needed to contribute to the idea of not reusing the materials, but rather improving their use, the massará for example is known in the region of Teresina-PI is a connecting material, of little consistency, easily disaggregatable (friable), containing white silica pebbles and of little utilização in the region. The interlocked concrete floor presents peculiar characteristics among which are those that configure it as a floor. The work analyzes through a mechanical strength and water absorption test the capacity that the interlocked concrete floor with the addition of massará in its composition offers in relation to bear load. Two traces with massará will be tried and then specimens will be molded to obtain the results of mechanical tests and characterization of the material in the laboratory. After the tests, it was observed the possibility of using it as components in the production of interlocked laying blocks used in construction companies of Teresina - PI
The program of Job Creation and Rental (PROGER) and the entrepreneurs of non-essential services during the pandemic moment.
The research investigated how the entrepreneurs of non-essential services of the town of Paranaguá/PR/Brazil have advantaged themselves through the Program of Job Creation and Rental (PROGER), in order to reduce the negative impacts caused by the pandemic on their business. The study has been submitted to the companies´ managers that are located in the job market for more than 03 (three) years, considering 03 (three) analysis categories: knowledge about the PROGER; struggle with raising funds; experience in other funding programs. For the data analysis, the Bardin´s substance analysis technique. The survey revealed that the entrepreneurs make little use of the program because of ignorance, lack of dissemination and the upper bureaucracy required for the funding contract
INNOVATION MANAGEMENT AND PORT GOVERNANCE: AN APPROACH TO MODELS AND PRACTICES IN THE WORLD
The main objective of the research was to prospect the state of the art in the management of innovation and port governance in order to identify models and practices in the different ports around the world, through the international scientific bases Web of Science and Scopus, which allowed the exploratory study. More specifically, we sought to raise the level of development in the field of scientific production in the areas of innovation management and port governance. Scientometric methods were applied to prepare graphs that reflect the treatment of data and information generated from selected publications, as well as the search in the patent database of the National Institute of Industrial Property – INPI. In general, a gap in scientific production related to the researched field of knowledge was evidenced, which may be associated with the low level of port innovations which, therefore, may also reverberate in the search for patent protection. Thus, it is recommended that scientific productions be encouraged to support innovations in the port sector, in addition to incremental innovations, playing a prominent role in the collaborative action of agents in the port cluster and scientific, technological and innovation institutions (ICTs)
The use of communication tools for the dissemination of Maranhense handicrafts as an intangible heritage
We propose to analyze the potential of Brazilian handicrafts, citing the handicrafts developed in the state of Maranhão. Here we will also discuss how communication tools can contribute to leverage the work made by artisans in Maranhão. This article also aims to reflect on the stimulus to the heritage preservation and the continuity of these practices from generations to generations directly associated with culture and tourism. The research will be quantitative with a bibliographic survey on the subject addressed
Ecopedagogy and Pedagogy of Meaning: Possible Dialogues
The main objective of this paper is to contribute to the realization of a critical Environmental Education for students and teachers of High School, through the studies of Logotherapy/Logoeducation. The research has a qualitative approach and was carried out with a literature review. This was based on works by the creator of Logotherapy, Viktor Frankl, authors who relate it to Education, as well as authors who support Ecopedagogy. We expect to reach the goals of reflection on pedagogical practices in relation to Environmental Education, thus being able to contribute, in fact, to the formation of political and ecological subjects prepared for the challenges of this millennium
A note about a new method for solving Riccati differential equations
Al Bastami, Belić, and Petrović (2010) proposed a new method to find solutions to some Riccati differential equations. Initially, they obtain a second-order linear ordinary differential equation (ODE) through a standard variable change in the Riccati equation. They then propose a new variable change and discuss the resolution of the resulting ODE in two cases. In the first one, the resulting ODE has constant coefficients. In the second case, they claim that it is possible to arbitrarily choose one of the resulting ODE coefficients and solve particular Riccati ODEs. We show in this work that all Riccati equations that belong to the first case can also be solved by Chini’s method. Furthermore, we show that any Riccati equation fits the second case and that the choice of the resulting ODE coefficients is not free
MULTIMODALITY AS A DEVOLOPMENT FACTOR OF LITERACY IN MULTILITERACIES: A THEORETICAL APPROACH
In modern times, important and rapid changes are taking place in the composition of societies, concerning the need and the way of communication between their members. Within this transformational context, language is not the only semiotic communication system. Various semiotic ways with various ways of representation (image, sound, movement, etc.) are offered, in combination and synchronization with each other, in order to create multimodal meanings. In this way the multimodal communication is achieved, which is distinguished by an important dynamic since more than one sense (sight, hearing, etc.) participate in it, at the same time. As a result, it is necessary for individuals to develop specific skills, of multitasking, in order to cope with the understanding / creation of multimodal messages. The purpose of this article is the theoretical approach to the meaning of multimodality as well as to highlight its role in the need to develop literacy in multiliteracies
BRAZILIANS' PERSPECTIVE ON CRYPTOCURRENCIES
The advance in science and technology combined with the development of the Internet offers new options for the use of money. Economic agents are beginning to lose physical contact with money and carry out transactions through electronic channels. The debate on the subject is of international relevance and foresees the manifestation of the monetary authority, which shows the importance of the subject. This paper sought to present the theories of demand for cryptocurrencies, discuss the perspective of Brazilians in relation to digital assets, and show the role of cryptocurrencies in the current economy. This study aimed to identify how the growth in demand for cryptocurrencies can impact the financial system and the globalized economy. The methodology employed is bibliographical, documental, and field research on the monetary evolution and the perspective of Brazilians in relation to crypto assets. Based on the online questionnaire conducted with 170 respondents who answered about what they understand by digital assets, it was observed that most of them are not used to the theme in question, however, there is a great interest in learning. It is concluded that compared to sovereign currencies, cryptocurrency meets monetary demand in isolation, in each context and period
PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL AND MICROBIAL QUALITY OF THE “CERVEJA CASEIRA” (HOMEBREWED BEER) OF GUARAPUAVA/STATE OF PARANÁ – BRAZIL
“Cerveja caseira” is a homebrewed beer sold in the Guarapuava municipality (State of Paraná, Southern Brazil). It was introduced by Slavic immigrants and adapted to Brazilian ingredients, being much appreciated in the region and disseminated by popular knowledge. The objective of this research is a physical-chemical and microbial analysis of cerveja caseira produced and sold in Guarapuava. Fifty-six samples divided in 14 lots were acquired in October and November 2020 in streets, houses, commerce, and markets of Guarapuava. The physical-chemical analyses included the determination of the following parameters: color, pH, original extract, apparent extract, alcohol, density, bitterness, SO2, and calories. The microbial quality was assessed via counts of total aerobic mesophiles, total and thermotolerant coliforms, positive-coagulase Staphylococcus, Pseudomonas spp, Bacillus spp, molds, and yeasts. The physical-chemical results indicate the lack of standards for the cerveja caseira production, with ample variations regarding color, original and apparent extract, alcohol percentage, and bitterness. Regarding microbial quality, all cerveja caseira lots contained pathogens, mainly mesophiles, yeasts, and Staphylococcus aureus, but no total and thermotolerant coliforms, important contamination indicators. According to Brazilian beer-related regulations, only lot 4 could be commercialized, despite its high percentage of alcohol (2.5% v/v), which characterizes it as an alcoholic beverage, not suitable for consumption by children and adolescents. Cerveja caseira recipes have been passed on from generation to generation, adapted to the climate and to the products available in Brazil, being part of the cultural heritage of the western region of Paraná that should be preserved
A Digital Booklet about Natural Disasters with Graphic Animation Focused on Landslides: A Study Case at Amazonas
The main occurrences of natural disasters in Brazil occur, being in the biggest part constituted by floods and landslides. The use of digital models is very useful to assist in the understanding of those phenomena, mostly geological processes that are developed at subsurface as landslides and are not possible to be seen by humans. This way, a digital booklet about landslides was developed and evaluated with two studies. One, that evaluates the usability through the SUS scale and the other, that evaluates the booklet importance by the perception of Earth Sciences field professors. The results indicate that the booklet brings an important theme and easy utilization, helping to spread to the population how the landslides occur and what to do to avoid them
