Financing agriculture remains a critical challenge in the Faranah region of Guinea. Despite its importance, empirical research on the effects of microfinance institutions (MFIs) on the living conditions and resilience of agricultural producers remains sparse. This study seeks to fill this gap by examining the impact of MFIs on household livelihoods and the enhancement of beneficiaries’ resilience to climate-related shocks in the region. Data were collected from a stratified sample of 780 individuals across twenty localities. The Cramér’s V test was employed to assess the strength of the association between access to microcredit and key livelihood indicators. The findings reveal that access to credit positively influences the standard of living of producers, particularly in terms of the number of daily meals consumed and the quality of housing, with statistically significant Cramér’s V values of 0.1452 and 0.073, respectively, at the 5% significance level. Additionally, microcredit access significantly improved beneficiaries' resilience capacities, as evidenced by a Cramér’s V value of 0.065, significant at the 1% level. These results underscore the importance of financial inclusion in strengthening adaptive capacity and enhancing rural livelihoods. To sustain these gains, it is imperative to establish appropriate risk mitigation mechanisms—such as agricultural insurance schemes and tailored financial guarantees. In the absence of such instruments, the development of the agricultural sector may remain constrained by limited access to adequate financing.

Revisiting Asset-Backed Securitization in the Digital Era: The Role of Blockchain and Tokenization
Amid the ongoing digital transformation, blockchain technology has emerged as a key innovation in the financial sector. One of its most promising applications is asset tokenization, which enables the digital representation and fractional ownership of financial assets.
This study explores how the blockchain and asset tokenization can enhance the Asset-Backed Securitization process. In our research, we conduct a comprehensive literature review and present a case study highlighting the adoption of blockchain technology in financial institutions for securitization purposes. Based on these insights, we propose an ABS to incorporate blockchain and tokenization into the securitization process by increasing transparency, operational efficiency, and acceptability for investors.
Our findings show that this technological approach can significantly enhance the performance of ABS by reducing operational risks, improving data integrity, and promotes boarder investor participation through fractionalization. It contributes to a more resilient and inclusive financial system.

The purpose of this paper is to present a meta-analytic review of the literature on the key factors of tax justice and their impact on tax morale and tax compliance, highlighting the complexity of individual, institutional, and contextual factors that shape equity perceptions and taxpayer behavior. Drawing on a rigorous statistical synthesis of findings from multiple quantitative studies, this meta-analytic review identifies consistent effect patterns, assesses the relative importance of various determinants, and examines their variation across different settings. The results show that tax justice is perceived to be greater when institutions are efficient, transparent, and low in corruption, when public spending is considered fair, and when citizens participate in budgetary decision-making. Higher tax morale is associated with modernized institutions, increased trust in public authorities, and enhanced civic participation. Furthermore, sociocultural norms and values—such as culture, religion, and social norms—play a crucial role: tax morale increases when compliance is a socially valued norm and tax evasion is socially disapproved, while it declines in contexts marked by low social trust and high perceived levels of widespread tax evasion. This analysis underscores the importance of adopting an integrated, evidence-based approach to strengthen tax justice and compliance across diverse institutional and cultural contexts.

In a constantly evolving digital environment, consumers benefit from increased access to information, enhancing their autonomy and critical thinking. Faced with this transformation, advertising is encountering a major obstacle: psychological reactance. This mechanism is activated when individuals perceive an infringement on their freedom of choice, generating cognitive and emotional resistance to persuasive messages. The contemporary consumer thus becomes less receptive to strategies perceived as intrusive or manipulative, compromising the relationship of trust with the brand and weakening loyalty. From then on, it is imperative for marketing professionals to grasp the psychological springs of this reactance to adapt their communication approaches. This theoretical study aims to explore the dimensions of psychological reactance and analyze its impact on purchasing behavior, while identifying the moderating factors likely to mitigate its effects in a context where the consumer plays an active role in their decisions. It is based on an integrative literature review, allowing to unify existing works and to propose a structured reading of the studied phenomenon.

Geographical Indications (GIs), as distinctive signs of origin and quality, are increasingly recognized as key instruments for differentiating agri-food products in both national and international markets. Beyond their commercial value, GIs contribute to the promotion of local resources, the preservation of traditional know-how, and the revitalization of rural areas. In Morocco, this labeling system is gradually being positioned as a strategic tool to enhance the competitiveness of terroir products. However, despite institutional efforts initiated nearly two decades ago, the effective implementation of GIs still faces several obstacles.
This article examines the main challenges hindering the development of GIs in Morocco, including limited material and human resources, strong competition from standardized products, insufficient product differentiation, and a general lack of awareness and appropriation of the GI concept by local actors, including consumers. Drawing on a comparative analysis of international experiences and the specificities of the Moroccan context, the study highlights institutional, economic, and socio-cultural barriers that limit the impact of GI schemes.
Furthermore, the paper proposes concrete avenues to strengthen the effectiveness of GI strategy in Morocco. It emphasizes the need for stronger local governance, better training for producers, improved market access, and greater synergy between agricultural, territorial, and trade policies. The ultimate goal is to foster the sustainable valorization of local products and to position GIs as a powerful driver of inclusive rural development.

Paper type: Theoretical Research.

The influence of taxation on financing decisions has been argued in several studies. Islamic finance, which emerged in 1975 with institutions such as the Dubai Islamic Bank, is now practiced in more than 131 countries and presents new financing opportunities. However, in Morocco, participatory finance, an alternative to conventional finance, which is presumed to be based on Islamic principles, faces major challenges, particularly in terms of the tax framework. Its optimal development is therefore hampered by an imperfect regulatory framework and an unfavorable tax regime, which makes these products less attractive than conventional products, particularly because of their high cost. To analyze these failures, our article will be devoted to a comparison between the tax framework of conventional products and that of participatory products following a methodological approach based on a narrative literature review. From this comparative analysis, it emerges that, despite recent legislative efforts, the Moroccan tax framework for participatory products remains imperfect, resulting in a higher cost for the latter and hindering their optimal development compared to conventional finance.

This study examines the factor structure and reliability of the affective organizational commitment scale in the Moroccan context. The main objective is to validate the scale with Moroccan employees by examining the representation of the affective dimension. A quantitative approach was adopted using principal component analysis (PCA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The PCA analysis revealed that the affective dimension is divided into two components: Affective commitment and non-affective commitment. Subsequent confirmatory factor analysis indicated good model fit, suggesting opportunities to improve the scale's accuracy in future research. These results underline the importance of the scale for measuring affective organizational commitment in the Moroccan context.

Women’s Cooperatives and Financial Literacy Development: A Scoping Review of Barriers and Empowerment Outcomes
Financial literacy is increasingly recognised as a critical capability shaping women’s economic participation, household decision-making, and involvement in cooperatives. Yet evidence remains dispersed, limiting understanding of how financial literacy supports empowerment and what factors constrain its effects. This scoping review synthesises empirical studies published between 2014 and 2025 to clarify the contribution of financial literacy to women’s empowerment and the barriers that moderate its impact.
Following PRISMA-ScR guidelines, a systematic search of Scopus and Web of Science identified peer-reviewed empirical studies examining women’s financial literacy in cooperative, microfinance, and microenterprise settings. Studies were selected based on predefined empowerment-related criteria. Extracted data covered study context, financial literacy conceptualisation, empowerment measures, and reported constraints. A thematic synthesis classified barriers into structural–economic, capability-related, socio-cultural, institutional, programmatic, and digital categories.
Eighteen studies from Africa, Asia, and Latin America show that financial literacy functions as a multidimensional capability enabling women to interpret financial information, manage resources, and participate in financial and cooperative decisions. Survey-based assessments dominate. Higher literacy is associated with stronger planning, savings discipline, credit confidence, and psychological agency. Its effects, however, are consistently moderated by structural limitations, low baseline skills, gender norms, institutional biases, program design weaknesses, and digital divides. Financial literacy fosters agency only when embedded in supportive institutional and socio-economic environments.
Financial literacy enhances women’s economic participation, decision-making power, and cooperative engagement, but its transformative potential is constrained by structural inequalities and gendered institutional barriers. Sustainable empowerment therefore requires integrating financial capability development with gender-responsive cooperative governance and supportive institutional conditions.
