The distribution company for agricultural, construction, and infrastructure equipment is experiencing delays in the supply of units, which can lead to resource depletion and potentially cause customer loss. Supply delays represent a form of waste that must be eliminated. This study aims to identify the causes of the delays using the waste assessment model approach. Data was collected through questionnaires and interviews conducted with assembly supervisors and team leaders. Data processing utilized the waste assessment model, which consists of the waste relationship matrix (WRM) and the waste assessment questionnaire (WAQ). The WRM results indicated a strong correlation between defects, processes, overproduction, and inventory, while the WAQ results showed the largest waste occurred in inventory, motion, and waiting. The highest waste in this study was identified as defects, inventory, and motion. The results of this research are expected to provide effective recommendations to reduce supply delays and improve the company\u27s operational efficiency. Consequently, the company can maintain and even enhance customer satisfaction, as well as optimize the distribution process of agricultural, construction, and infrastructure equipment. Efficiency within a company must be enhanced to maintain competitiveness and business sustainability, particularly in logistics firms. In logistics processes, minimizing costs is a critical indicator of operational efficiency. This study applies optimization through linear programming to a cross-dock company characterized by fluctuating demand, focusing on a fast-moving product. The analysis begins by calculating the minimum and maximum demand based on twice the standard deviation from the mean, followed by determining the optimal scenarios for each depot. The results indicate that, for the eight depots, the majority of the truck selection involved using single-axle trucks. Consequently, the total cost from the first to the seventh week was Rp. 1,785,000,000, while the LP simulation results indicated a total cost of Rp. 1,214,000,000, representing a potential cost saving of Rp. 554,000,000. Blood is a vital necessity because in the event of a shortage, patients can only obtain blood from fellow humans. Blood available at the Blood Donor Unit, such as packed red cells (PRC) is most often needed for medical treatment, but is also often limited. This is due to the fluctuating supply and demand of blood. Based on the problem, a stochastic model with the continuous review system (CRS) or Q-system method is used. The approach will monitor inventory levels continuously, triggering reordering (r), when the stock reaches a certain threshold. This research applies a stochastic model to forecast demand (q), safety stock (ss), reorder point (r), maximum inventory (S), and total inventory cost (Ot). Before the calculation is done, the demand forecasting method is used, then the calculation with the Q-System. Based on data processing, obtained for each blood type A, B, AB, and O, namely, q values of 47, 48, 40, and 20 blood bags. The value of r is 73, 73, 71, and 17 blood bags. This study applies a stochastic model to estimate demand (q), safety stock (ss), reorder point (r), and maximum inventory (S) 259, 56, 42, 21. And the total inventory cost (Ot) IDR 212,429,215, IDR 238,485,254, IDR 157,422,496, and IDR 59,592,451. Keywords: Blood, Inventory, Demand, Q-Syste

UMKM Banjar Biscuit "Bu Min" in Sumber Nongko Village, Jombang Regency produces traditional snacks made from sticky rice using manual methods, especially at the dough-pounding stage. This manual process causes physical fatigue in workers, affects production efficiency, and threatens product hygiene. With increasing market demand, UMKM faces major challenges in meeting consumer needs. To overcome this problem, an ergonomic dough-pounding tool was designed with dimensions of 140 cm high, 50 cm wide, 50 cm long, and a mortar diameter of 30 cm. This tool successfully reduced the Work Heart Rate (WHR) of workers from 118-149 to 93-124 beats/minute, indicating a significant reduction in cardiovascular load. In addition to increasing production efficiency, this tool maintains product hygiene and reduces the risk of worker injury. From a financial perspective, the cost of making the tool of Rp 5,306,000 has proven to be economical with an IRR of 5.26% per month (51.2% per year), a Profitability Index of 6.04, a positive NPV, and a Payback Period of only 2 months. This innovation helps MSMEs improve the quality and quantity of production while strengthening competitiveness in a competitive market.
