Indoor Location Detection of User using Radio Frequency of WiFi
In the era of smart cities, there are a plethora of applications where the localization of indoor environments is important, from monitoring and tracking in smart buildings to proximity marketing and advertising in shopping malls. The success of these applications is based on the development of a cost efficientand robust real-time system capable of accurately localizing objects. In most outdoor localizationsystems, global positioning system (GPS) is used due to its ease of implementation and accuracy up to fivemeters. However, due to the limited space that comes with performing localization of indoor environmentsand the large number of obstacles found indoors, GPS is not a suitable option. Hence, accurately andefficiently locating objects is a major challenge in indoor environments. Recent advancements in theInternet of Things (IoT) along with novel wireless technologies can alleviate the problem. Small-sizeand cost-efficient IoT devices which use wireless protocols can provide an attractive solution. In thispaper, we compare four wireless technologies for indoor localization: Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11n-2009 at the2.4 GHz band), Bluetooth low energy, Zigbee, and long-range wide-area network. The received signal strength indicator (RSSI) values from Wi-Fi modality were used and trilateration was performed for localization. The system predicts the location of the user within a room, and performs action based on the location of the user in the premises.
Analysis of Air Quality Estimation based on Air Pollutants Parameters
Air quality is the degree that tells us how pure or polluted the air is. It is important to know air quality in our surrounding as it negatively impacts human health and environment. Modernization and industrialization have given birth to air pollution which has become hidden killer. Making cities more respirable starts by analyzing and seizing the air pollution data. Long-established air quality prediction model gave less accurate and unsatisfactory result. There is a need of reliable data-analytics based solutions which will optimally predict air quality thereby enhancing our quality life. We evaluated various studies in this domain and summated the important researches done. This work will give future directions to the upcoming researchers
"P2P-ISN-A Peer-to-Peer Integrated Heterogeneous Social Network”
In the age of information technology the facets of work and availability of everything in internet also the unprecedented growth and influence of Social Network Sites (SNSs) haveopened the opportunity for researchers to explore a large amount of social andbehavioral data.[1] The heterogeneity of SNSs further sparks advanced research innovations todevelop another methods and applications that integrate resources and offer more seamlessservices across SNSs. Specifically, aiming at the integration of social inter relationshipdata, a much less studied subject. We propose a peer-to-peer architecture, namelyP2P-iSN, to integrate and collect the heterogeneous SNSs. [1]The P2P-iSN allows different users from heterogeneousSNSs to communicate without involving the SNS they have registeredwith. Under this good architecture, we propose a Global Relationship Model (GRM) tocapture the relationship strength between users and then develop a search-I mechanism, namely iSearch, to find the optimal social path between any twousers who are meaningfully connected in heterogeneous SNSs
Gender Classification from Hand Shape
—Gender classification is important in identify the gender of a criminals and also minimize the list of suspects search from hand shape. It is also useful for of female security purpose. Using a small dataset of 50-hand shape images for 25 persons of different ages and genders is analyzed. By considering some geometry, region & boundary features it is possible to distinguish male and female. Features extraction can be done by using three methods Gabor filter, Zernike moment and Fourier descriptor. The features of each hand is represented by using higher order ZM (Zernike moment), FD (Fourier descriptor) and GF (gabbro filter). Finally, comparison is done by using feature level fusion techniques. The proposed system is implemented in MATLAB and has achieved accuracy of 91.99 % average

Cloud computing is becoming popular enterprise model in computer world in which computing resources are made available on-demand to the user as their requirements. Cloud computing use the internet technologies for delivery of ITEnabled services to any needed users i.e. through cloud computing we can access anything from anywhere to any computer without worrying about their storage, structure, cost, management etc. So as we use internet, it is prone to several types of security risks. Therefore a systematic strategies and processes are essential to analyze security needs. The Security policies should be implemented for cloud computing systems at multiple levels to threats, risk and weakness. Here this paper introduce a high order object oriented techniques and methods for construction of vigorous security policy to build cloud system more reliable
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing for Wireless Networks S
When a high data rate is to be transmitted over a channel with relatively large maximum delay an alternative approach is given by the OFDM transmission technique. OFDM is a promising technique for the broadband wireless communication system. The idea of OFDM is to distribute the high rate data stream to many low rate data streams that are transmitted in a parallel way over many sub-channels, thus in each sub-channel the symbol duration is low as compared to maximum delay of channel and ISI can be handled, but it is up to some extent. However, a special problem in OFDM is its vulnerability to frequency offset errors due to which the orthogonality is destroyed that result in ICI. ICI causes power leakage among subcarriers thus degrading the system performance. In this paper we described the adaptive equalization for multipath faded OFDM system. Generally in OFDM system a rectangular pulse shaping technique is applied, the ICI will not occur, however out of band interference will present. Also we observed the Gaussian function for pulse shaping; in this case, the sub carrier spectra are also Gaussian functions and delay rapidly. In such a system, however both ISI and ICI over a few modulation symbols occur. The adaptive equalization with LMS and RLS algorithm mitigates this interference
