MAC Addresses Blacklist based on the user’s behaviour after connecting to the network
The advent of wireless LANs is a milestone in networking. The use of wireless LANs not only made data transferring or networking easy but also has increased the security threats. However, security is an alarming concern, as everything being transmitted through network where number of systems or devices are connected. Here the data or information is available “in the air”. Our work focuses on using existing protocols, standards, tools and technologies to implement security for wireless LAN. However, Security in a network needs to be implemented at multiple levels. Like SSID security, MAC address filtering, encryption and RADIUS based authentication of wireless clients. But our work mainly concentrates on MAC Address filtering, because MAC Address is unique 48 bit Address given by the vendor to every system

Indoor Positioning and Navigation Systems (IPNS) has been subject of intense study and research ought to it has become a blind spot with regard to Positioning and Navigation Software. An indoor solution has been as successful outdoor systems like Global Position System (GPS). This paper proposes the design and implementation on mobile device (the most common), of a 3D positioning and navigation system for indoor based on the use of Bluetooth (BT) radio technology. This paper details the development of an indoor navigation system on a webenabled smart phone. A routing algorithm calculates the optimal path from user position to destination. Testing verified that two meter accuracy, sufficient for navigation, was achieved. This technique shows promise for future handheld indoor navigation systems. This 3D model can be build using the most common 3D Design tools with M3G formats support. Location is implemented on BT with distributed estimation (the mobile device performs it)
A Review on Face Recognition Algorithms
Face recognition has been challenging and interesting area in real time applications. Face recognition is a form of biometric identification that relies on data acquired from the face of an individual. A large number of face recognition along with their modifications, have been developed during the past decades. Face recognition presents a challenging problem in the field of image analysis and computer vision, and as such has received a great deal of attention over the last few years because of its many applications in various domains. In real world applications, it is desirable to have a stand-alone, embedded facerecognition system. The reason is that such systems provide a higher level of robustness,hardware optimization, and ease of integration. In this paper an attempt is made to review a wide range of methods used for face recognition comprehensively. This include PCA, ICA, LDA, SVM, Gabor wavelet soft computing tool like ANN for recognition, LBP and various hybrid combination of this techniques. This review investigates all these methods with parameters that challenges face recognition like pose variation, facial expressions and illuminations

Review Paper on Free Vibration Response of Magnetorheological Elastomer-based Sandwich Beam
The dynamic analysis of a three-layered symmetric sandwich beam with magneto rheological elastomer (MRE) embedded viscoelastic core and conductive skins subjected to a periodic axial load have been carried out under various boundary conditions by researchers. As the skins of the sandwich beam are conductive, magnetic loads are applied to the skins during vibration. Due to the field-dependent shear modulus of MRE material, the stiffness of the MRE embedded sandwich beam can be changed by the application of magnetic fields. Using extended Hamilton’s principle along with generalized Galarkin’s method the governing equation of motion has been derived. The free vibration analysis of the system has been carried out and the results are compared with the published experimental and analytical results which are found to be in good agreement. Here, recently developed magneto rheological elastomer based on natural rubber containing iron particles and carbon blacks have been used. The effects of magnetic field, length of MRE patch, core thickness, percentage of iron particles and carbon blacks on the regions of parametric instability for first three modes of vibration have been studied. These results have been compared with the parametric instability regions of the sandwich beam with fully viscoelastic core to show the passive and active vibration reduction of these structures using MRE and magnetic field
Application of Taguchi Method for Optimization of Parameters in Mitigation of Stress concentration Factor of Thin Rectangular Plate under Static Loading
Taguchi method is based on performing evaluation or experiments to test the sensitivity of a set of response variables to a set of control parameters by considering experiments in “orthogonal array” with an aim to attain the optimum setting of the control parameters. Orthogonal arrays provide a best set of well balanced experiments. In this study the Taguchi method is used to find the parameters for reducing stress concentration factor of a thin rectangular plate having central circular hole. The orthogonal array, signal to noise ratio and the analysis of variance are employed to study the factors responsible for inducing stress concentration factor. In these analysis two factors namely distance and shape of auxiliary hole were considered. Accordingly a suitable orthogonal array was selected and the experiments were carried out. After conducting the experiment stress concentration factor is calculated and signal to noise ratio was calculated. With the help of graphs optimum parameter values were obtained and the confirmation experiment was carried out. Finite element analysis results were provided to illustrate the effectiveness of this approach

In case of the missing phones this application will play the vital role as it will help to get the location of that smart phone.
