    Legality of Protection of MSME Business Actors In Online Buying and Selling Activities In The Digital Era

    The digital revolution has changed various aspects of life, including the trade sector. The development of information & communication technology (ICT) gave birth to renewable business models, such as e-transactions in buying and selling. However, online transaction activities in purchasing and vending also present various challenges, one of which is related to legal certainty for MSME business actors. This research aims to identify legal certainty problems MSME business actors face in online purchasing and vending. The method used in the study is a normative juridical approach that examines legislation. Data was collected through literature studies related to regulations when carrying out online buying and selling transactions, the rights of MSME business actors, and dispute resolution mechanisms. The data analysis method employed in this study is a qualitative analysis using deductive approaches. The research results show that legal clarity for MSME business actors involved in the online buying and selling process in the digitalization era is important in ensuring that trade transactions carried out via digital platforms occur with transparency, security, and by applicable legal Wprovisions. The law governing online purchasing and vending is based on principles stipulated in Article 34(1) of the 1945 Constitution. It is embodied in Legislation No. 20 of 2008 regarding Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This regulation is the basis for all legal regulations governing MSMEs to provide adequate protection for MSME actors

    This study aims to determine the effect of job resources on work engagement through job crafting and burnout in public high school teachers in West Kotawaringin. This study is a causal study. The data collection tool used is an online questionnaire in the form of a google form. Questionnaires are distributed by snowball sampling, where some subjects will be selected to represent the school and then distribute the questionnaire to others. The population in this study is public high school teachers in West Kotawaringin. The sample in this study was 166 respondents with the criteria of having worked as teachers for one year. Data analysis techniques in this study use SEM (Structural Equation Model) using the lisrel program. The results showed that there is a positive and significant influence between job resources on work engagement, there is a positive and significant influence between job resources on job crafting, there is a negative influence between job resources on burnout, there is no positive and significant influence between job crafting on work engagement, there is a negative influence between burnout on work engagement, there is a positive and significant influence between job resources on work engagement through job crafting, and there is a positive and significant influence between job resources on work engagement through burnout

    Measuring the capacity limit in children's school bags using ESP32 microcontroller and GPS tracker

    Backpacks are the main choice for students as a means of carrying school supplies and materials, but often they do not pay attention to the weight of the load they carry every day, potentially causing injuries and pain in the back. This study aims to design and implement a capacity limit measuring device on children's school bags using the ESP32 microcontroller as the control center. The tool is equipped with a 10kg load cell sensor to accurately measure the weight of the bag, as well as a keypad as a user interface to easily enter the child's weight. Safety is also considered with the addition of a buzzer as an alarm if the weight of the bag's capacity exceeds the set limit. GPS trackers are also integrated to monitor the geographical location of bags, allowing parents to monitor the movement of children and the location of bags directly through Telegram bots. With ESP32 as the brain, this tool provides a comprehensive solution to maintain the health and safety of children in carrying their school load. This tool also utilizes Telegram technology to provide direct notifications about the weight and location of children's bags to parents or other users. Telegram bots connected to this tool automatically transmit this information, providing additional convenience and security for users

    Environmental Impact and Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance with Intervening Variables Work Motivation (Case Study: Refinery-Biodiesel Plant Division of PT. X)

    This research is intended to find out and analyse the impact of work environment and work satisfaction on employee performance, which is mediated by work motivation. The research was done quantitatively by using the survey method with data analysis technique using SEM PLS. The questionnaire was a data collection instrument and was spread online through Google Forms. It had a sample quota of 83 respondents from millennial-generation employees from a refinery-biodiesel plant in PT. X. The independent variable in this research is work environment (X1) and Job satisfaction (X2); the dependent variable is employee performance (Y) and, with mediating variable, namely work motivation (Z). The result from this research is that work environment (X1) and work satisfaction (X2) do not affect employee performance (Y) because the t-statistic values of 1,237 and 0,068 are successively lesser than 1,96 values with a significance of 0,05. With the mediation available in the form of work motivation (Y), it can be obtained data in which work environment (X1) and work satisfaction (X2) positively affect and signification to employee performance (Y) with t-statistic values by 2,157 and 3,872 successively with the significance lesser than 0,05. Besides that, work motivation (Y) also positively affects and is significant toward employee performance with a t-statistic value of 4,490 and a significance of 0,05. Further research is expected to research other variables that are able to support employees’ increasing performance, such as organisational commitment, work-life balance, and organisational culture

    Predictive Analysis of Indonesian Stock Market Prices Using Deep Learning: An Application of Diffusion Variational Autoencoders

    This study introduces the application of the Diffusion Variational Autoencoder (D-VAE), a deep learning technique, for predicting stock prices in the Indonesian stock market. With the challenges presented by market volatility and complex data distributions, D-VAE is explored for its capability to encapsulate uncertainty and model complex distributions. This study is significant as it explores the potential of D-VAE in the context of the Indonesian stock market, which has not been widely studied before. Historical stock data from Yahoo Finance was collected over one year and preprocessed for training and validation of the model. The model is trained with an architecture designed to allow tuning of the latent space, utilizing ReLU and linear activation functions for the encoder and decoder. The model's performance is evaluated using the Mean Squared Error (MSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), and R-squared metrics, yielding results that highlight the model's capability to enhance the accuracy of stock price predictions. By leveraging machine learning techniques in stock price prediction models, this study underscores the significant contribution such approaches can make to informed and successful investment decisions underpinned by robust data

    Lembang Fault Deformation Study Using Sentinel-1A Image with Ps-Insar Method

    Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) states that the earthquakes that have occurred in the territory of Indonesia during 2018 were 11,418. Nearly 95 percent of earthquakes occur in fault areas and plate boundaries. In West Java, especially in the Bandung area there is a fault structure called the Lembang Fault which is mostly occupied by community settlements. The Lembang Fault is an active fault, therefore it is necessary to conduct research related to monitoring the Lembang Fault for disaster mitigation purposes. One of parameter to determine the level of activity of a fault is deformation. The amount of deformation can be analyzed through the remote sensing methods, one of them is the Persistent Scatterer Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (PS-InSAR) method. In this study the main data used is Sentinel-1A image data consist of eight scenes with acquisition time from January 2018 to March 2019. The results of the study concluded that the average deformation that occurred along the Lembang Fault was 2,485 mm with a graph that tends to rise. The area most affected by deformation is Cisarua Subdistrict with Line-of-Sight velocity of deformation of 28.4 - 48.9 mm / year. While the smallest deformation occurred in Lembang District with Line-of-Sight velocity of deformation of -2.3 - 19.2 mm / year

    Consumer Intention of Purchasing Plant-Based Milk in Indonesia

    In the context of achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), advancements in food technology, notably plant-based alternatives, are gaining popularity. Aligning with SDG targets such as good health and well-being (SDG 3), responsible consumption and production (SDG 12), and climate action (SDG 13), the adoption of plant-based milk signifies progress towards a sustainable food system. This study investigates the determinants influencing Indonesians' intention to purchase plant-based milk, addressing a notable research gap in developing markets. The study collected data from 300 respondents through social media, resulting in 297 valid responses. Analysis using SMARTPLS reveals that attitude, environmental concern, health consciousness, price, and subjective norms all have a significant relationship with the intention to purchase plant-based milk, with attitude and environment identified as the strongest drivers. These findings have practical implications for plant-based milk business managers and other stakeholders interested in improving their competitiveness while contributing to a more sustainable environment

    Analysis of Non-Linear Static Procedure Based on Fema 356 to Evaluate Structural Performance in the Alton Apartment Building

    Alton Apartment is a high-rise residential building. The city of Semarang, within a radius of 500 km, has a fault range with a strength of up to 8.3 magnitude. The purpose of this study is to calculate the performance level of the structure, find out the nonlinear static procedure conditions and whether the analysis results can be used, calculate the value of ductility R, check the boundaries between levels, check the influence of P-delta, adjust horizontal irregularities, and check the vertical irregularity conditions. This study uses the FEMA 356 method. New regulations are used in the analysis, such as peak acceleration maps and response spectra from PuSGeN in 2021, deaggregation maps of Indonesian earthquake hazards for planning and evaluation of earthquake-resistant infrastructure from the Director General of Cipta Karya in 2022, and earthquake resilience planning procedures for building and non-building structures from SNI 1726-2019. The result of the structure performance of the drift value is below 1% for the life safety (LS) performance level on the 250-year earthquake map, and the result of the drift value is below 2% for the collapse prevention (CP) performance level on the 100-year earthquake map. The results of the FEMA 356 condition one analysis show that the strength ratio (μstrength) value of less than μmax has been met for 250-year and 1000-year earthquake maps with a review of the x and y directions of the earthquake. The value of the R ductility in 250-year and 1000-year earthquakes is above seven according to the earthquake force holding system of special reinforced concrete sliding walls.

    Digital Transformation in Public Services: Effect of RBA OSS Implementation in South Jakarta

    This research investigates the effect of implementing the Risk-based Online Single Submission System (OSS RBA) on the quality of licensing services in South Jakarta. This research aims to evaluate policy implementation factors that influence the quality of licensing services and identify the implications of these findings. The research method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Partial Least Squares (PLS), with a population of business actors in South Jakarta and a sample of 100 respondents using the OSS RBA System. The results of the analysis show that the factors of Communication, Resources, Disposition, and Bureaucratic Structure positively and significantly influence the quality of licensing services. Even though the Public Factor does not show a statistically significant influence, its contribution still has an overall effect on service quality. These findings imply that greater attention should be paid to these aspects in designing policies and strategies to improve the effectiveness of public services. Thus, this research provides valuable insights for the development of practices and policies in digital technology-based public services
