The Influence of Work Experience, Competence, and Work Discipline on Teacher Performance with Work Motivation as an Intervening Variable at Nur Al Hiraa Character School
Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to determine the influence of variables such as work experience, competence, and work discipline on teacher performance with work motivation as an intervening variable at Nur Al Hiraa Character School. The type of research used in this study is explanatory type causal research which examines the influence of independent variables on dependent variables. The results of this study show that work experience, competence, work discipline, and work motivation have a significant influence on teacher performance in the f test (simultaneous). It can be concluded that the higher the level of work experience, competence, work discipline, and motivation, the higher the level of teacher performance felt by each teacher
The Effect of Service Quality and Facilities on Inpatient Satisfaction at Malinau Regional General Hospital
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze how and to what extent the quality of service and facilities influence the satisfaction of inpatients at Malinau Hospital on the satisfaction of inpatients at Malinau Hospital, partially and simultaneously. The type of research used is a quantitative approach with a cross sectional study design with the aim of describing and analyzing whether there is a relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The population in this study, the number of inpatient visits from June to October 2023 was 1,152, with a research sample of 92 respondents. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews and documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses SPSS version 25. The results of the research obtained a multiple linear regression equation Y = 5.119 + 0.064 significant impact on the satisfaction of inpatients at Malinau District Hospital. The simultaneous test (F test) shows that the quality of services and facilities have a significant effect on the satisfaction of inpatients at Malinau Hospital simultaneously. The partial coefficient of determination (R2) shows that the variables (X1), (X2) are able to explain the variable (Y) by 55.0%. Meanwhile, the remaining 45.0% is explained by other variables not identified in this study
Obligation to Approve the Use of Forest Areas for Mining Business Actors Operating in Protected Forest Areas (Case Study of PT Nickel Indonesia)
Get PDFPT Nickel Indonesia, which is a mining company that has held a Contract of Work since 1968, part of its mining area is located in the Protected Forest Area area so it must carry out business activities by the provisions that have been regulated related to PPKH. This article will discuss the obligations of mining business actors who own PPKH operating in protected forest areas by taking a case example from PT Nickel Indonesia. In addition, this article will also explain the sanctions that will be received for PPKH permit holders if they neglect the obligations that have been set by the government in the applicable regulations. On the other hand, this article will also try to examine how mining facilities have been built but are in the buffer zone. It is further explained in this article that, PPKH functions as a government control with obligations that must be fulfilled by business actors who obtain it. Violation of these obligations can result in administrative and criminal sanctions. The sanctions that may be received if they violate these obligations are a warning for PT Nickel Indonesia to improve business governance that pays attention to the environment. PT Nikel Indonesia's supporting facilities that existed in the buffer area before the regulation took effect are expected to continue to be used by receiving special policies from the government to support nickel ore mining and processing activities in Indonesia and of course, PT Nikel Indonesia as a PPKH holder is committed to maintaining transparency and communication with all stakeholders regarding the use of supporting facilities that have been built before the enactment of the regulation new ones
Risk Management in the Implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health System (SMK3) in the PLN Maluku and Papua Substation Project
Get PDFThis research involves several PLN substation projects in the Maluku and Papua regions. The subject of this study consisted of 25 respondents, namely 1 Project Manager, HSE Engineer and project supervisor. The questionnaire that has been given is then analyzed using the severity index method. The results of K3 risk identification on 44 risk variable indicators with high variables are found in the categories of product purchase and control, work safety in SMK3 and monitoring standards. The highest level of K3 risk to cost performance in substation construction projects in Maluku and Papua is the specification of the purchase of goods and services, the verification system of purchased goods and services, emergency planning and recovery, and labour health monitoring. The allocation of K3 risk in substation construction projects in Maluku and Papua is the most allocated risk shared between the owner and the contractor. The most K3 risk response is by holding and partially allocating to the owner by transferring. Recommendations for mitigation of K3 risks in substation construction projects in Maluku and Papua are by preparing procedures for work steps/related documents that are jointly supervised between the owner and owner. Then it is necessary to form an organization related to K3 that will be responsible for emergencies, work accidents and monthly reporting to the local Manpower Office
Disability Inclusion in Church Service: Realizing God's Mission of Mercy and Justice

One of the church's important vocations is to serve the vulnerable and marginalized, including those with disabilities. The Church needs to reflect on God's heart and mission that is full of mercy, equality, and justice for all without exception. This article will explore how the church can live out this divine calling by actively involving congregational members who have disabilities in ecclesiastical life and ministry. So far, church service is still in the concept of charitable diaconia rather than diaconia of community initiative development or also transformative diaconia. The research method used to solve this problem is qualitative. The expected outcome of this study is to ensure the full involvement and participation of everyone with disabilities in church service, as well as an appreciation for their dignity and uniqueness
Representation of Journalists' Professionalism in the Film a Taxi Driver
Get PDFFilm is a mass communication medium that combines audio, visuals, and narration to convey stories, and information, and serves as a medium of entertainment and education for the audience. One such film that provides both entertainment and historical education is A Taxi Driver, which falls under the genres of drama, history, and politics. This film is based on the true story of a taxi driver who inadvertently became involved in the Gwangju uprising of 1980 after helping a German journalist cover the events in Gwangju. The purpose of this research is to understand the representation of journalistic professionalism in the film A Taxi Driver according to the Code of Ethics of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) using a descriptive qualitative research method with Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. The results of this study identify several scenes in the film A Taxi Driver that illustrate the articles of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) Code of Ethics through various actions of Peter, who plays the journalist. Among them: Article 1 "Respect for Truth" is reflected when Peter visits Gwangju to validate information from Reporter Lee. Article 2 "Freedom of the Press" is evident when Peter attempts to record events at the shooting site. Article 3 "Fair Methods to Obtain Information" is shown by his bravery in recording amid the riots. Article 8 "Transparency" is seen in Peter's promise to publish news about the chaos in Gwangju once he returns to Japan. Article 12 "Solidarity" highlights by his efforts to save Kim's life, compensate for the damage to Kim's taxi, and his desire to reunite with Kim to repay his kindness. Article 15 "Humanity" is demonstrated through Peter's actions of recording the bodies of Gu Jae-sik and the victims of military violence, as well as helping to evacuate the shooting victims
Factors Affecting Control Room Operator Situation Awareness and ITS Fuzzy Logic Model
Get PDFThe rapid development of computer-human interface in process industries control systems challenged control room operator (CRO) to maintain their situation awareness (SA) at the high alert level. The paper aims to present physiological factors affecting the work performance of CRO wellness status during their duty to measure their SA level. PERCLOS number of eye-opening recognition and heart rate profile used as physiological variable to measure fatigue effect. Alarm management records and response time spent in controlling process changes behavior used as cognitive behavior variable representing competency performance. Fuzzy logic methods selected to correlate the input variables to the SA level as output variable that will be useful to communicate the CRO situation awareness status into the computer human interface as an alert system for the CRO themselves or further to their supervisor for any intervention required. Results of the observation and analysis shows a significant correlation between the observed physiological of the CRO and the cognitive behaviour of the CRO at different stress level working condition. The findings support the development of wellness alert system in process industries control system through enhancing SA level of CRO effectively

The Impact of Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) on Retail Property Rental Value in Jakarta's Block M Area
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the impact of Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) development on the rental value of retail properties in the Blok M area, Jakarta. The background of this research is based on the increasing adoption of TOD as a solution to traffic congestion and increased accessibility in urban areas. This research uses a qualitative method with an approach to interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study showed a significant increase in the rental value of retail properties after the implementation of TOD, especially in three main shopping centers: Blok M Square, Blok M Plaza, and Blok M Mall. The percentage increase in rental prices per year reaches an average of 15%. These findings show that TOD contributes positively to the increase in retail property value in areas with high accessibility. In conclusion, TOD has an important role in supporting the economic growth of urban areas through increasing the value of retail properties
