    The Role of Bank Guarantee As Collateral in The Implementation of Work on Projects At PT Hutama Karya (Persero) EPC Division (Study on The Muara Tawar 2 X 650 MW Power Plant Project)

    Large projects such as power plants require guarantees for the implementation of the work to ensure the project's smooth running. A Bank guarantee is commonly used in these large projects to ensure contract fulfillment and good performance. This research aims to evaluate bank guarantees' role in projects such as the 2 x 650 MW Muara Tawar Power Plant run by PT Hutama Karya (Persero) EPC Division. This research uses qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques in this study include literature studies and interviews. Data analysis techniques used in this study include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that bank guarantees are essential in implementing work on projects at PT Hutama Karya (Persero) EPC Division. Bank guarantees can be used to guarantee various things, such as quality of work, timely completion, and payments to third parties. Bank guarantees have various benefits in the implementation of work on projects at PT Hutama Karya (Persero) EPC Division, including increasing the employer's trust in service providers, increasing the certainty of work implementation, and increasing efficiency in the work implementation process.&nbsp

    Utilisation of Sandal Waste From Home Industry in Kepuh Kiriman Village, Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency, As Coarse Aggregate Material in Mixing Materials For Paving Block Production

    Industrial activity is one of the factors that supports the growth of the economic sector. One industry that is currently proliferating is rubber sandal waste. This paper will use a mixture of rubber sandal waste as a coarse aggregate material. Sandal waste can be reused to produce products with a sale value, such as a mixture for making paving blocks. They were paving blocks that will be made using B-quality K-200. This paper aimed to determine compressive strength, water absorption, and SEM results. The method which is used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Paving Variations in sandal waste used in this study were 0%, 10%, 15%, and 20% of the volume of coarse aggregate. The optimal results produced are a 15% variation with a compressive strength age of 28 days with an average value of 18.8 MPa, a 10% variation with a compressive strength age of 7, and 14 days with an average value of 21.2 MPa and 21.8 MPa. The most optimal water absorption test results are at 10% variation with an average value of 5%. SEM test results with 15% and 20% variations showed a high air void content and microcracks spread in the specimen's topography. Meanwhile, at 0% and 10%, the spread of microcracks is insignificant, and the test object has a reasonably high density

    Taxpayer Objection Efforts in Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) Dispute (Case Study At the Regional Revenue Agency of Madiun City)

    The Madiun City Government is facing problems in resolving tax issues, which can be resolved through standard tax objection resolution. The legal basis used is Law No. 28 of 2009 concerning Regional Taxes and Regional Levies. BAPENDA Madiun City has the authority to manage land and building taxes based on these regulations. This research aims to determine legal efforts in filing objections to resolving tax disputes in the PBB-P2 field and the obstacles taxpayers face in making legal objections. The research method used is the normative legal research method. The research results state that taxpayers who feel that the NJOP value determined by Bapenda is not by the condition of their property can submit an appeal to the Tax Court Agency. The process begins with submitting an objection letter to Bapenda within a certain period after sending the tax notification. If the objection is not accepted, the taxpayer can appeal to the Tax Court Agency. However, in the case at the Madiun City Bapenda, the request for an objection to the NJOP value of land and buildings was not granted. There are several obstacles to legal action for taxpayers' objections to resolving tax disputes in the urban PBB sector in Madiun City, such as legal uncertainty and limitations of law enforcement agencies. Legal reform, increasing the capacity of law enforcement agencies, and increasing awareness of tax law among the public are needed to overcome this

    Analysis of The Application of Life Cycle Cost Method of Green Retrofit of Mosque Building Based on GBCI and EDGE Benchmarks to Improve Investment Performancej

    This study conducts a comprehensive life cycle cost analysis (LCC) of green retrofitting in mosque buildings, assessing its financial feasibility and performance. The research involves a risk assessment of three crucial stages: pre-, construction, and post-construction. A Likert scale is employed for the validation process based on responses from 51 experts involved in green building retrofit projects. Results indicate that the highest risk occurs during construction, impacting investment performance. Sensitivity analysis reveals the potential longevity of investments, with pre-construction risks affecting the Net Present Value (NPV) in the 18th year and post-construction risks proving feasible by the 17th year. The study introduces benchmarks such as NPV, Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR), and Break Even Point (BEP) for investment evaluation. The financial feasibility of green retrofit items, including solar panels and energy-efficient utilities, is confirmed with an NPV of IDR 140,797,698, IRR of 10.26%, and BCR of 2.21, with feasibility realized in the 17th year. Risk visualization through a Tornado Chart emphasizes the significance of each risk stage on NPV values. In conclusion, the study recommends broader case studies involving multiple certified green mosques for more accurate risk identification. This research provides valuable insights for informed investment decisions in mosque building green items, emphasizing the importance of risk management for long-term sustainability

    The Ongoing COVID pandemic has hampered economic activity; Food is a basic need that must be fulfilled and cannot be postponed. During the current pandemic, business people need to pay attention to the situation and conditions, especially the limitation of economic activity in several regions. However, Digital technologies have been extensively studied in academic research and industry. Moreover, little is known about adopting digital technologies in manufacturing firms at a supply chain level. This paper aims to understand why and how manufacturing firms adopt digital technologies and the impact of the adoption on supply chains. This research includes the design of a Web-based Supply Chain Management application to facilitate inventory management, starting from the process of ordering goods from suppliers and procurement of goods to managing goods to customers. Digital technology in the supply chain in the manufacturing area helps companies to store goods management data, raw materials, inventories, deliveries, and daily deposits, and others that are still using manual systems or not yet computerized to maximize performance and also profits for the company, suppliers, including end customers.     This study aims to analyze the nature of chemical content, analyze abrasion value and optimum asphalt content using local Kinang Jingkion as road pavement material. In this study, XRF and XRD testing methods were used to determine the chemical content of Kinang Jingkion local material, then testing the characteristics of rough aggregate to determine the abrasion value, testing fine aggregate characteristics, and testing asphalt pen 60/70 and marshall test to determine the optimum asphalt content (KAO). The tests obtained the results of comparative data analysis between laboratory tests and literature standards that meet the eligibility requirements. The results showed that: First, the results of XRF and XRD analysis on Wilihingke samples, 0.15 mm granules, 2.36 mm granules, and Kinang Holuwon found that all chemical elements contained in the four samples were solid metal inorganic chemical elements. The results of this analysis prove that the four samples, which are fine aggregates and coarse aggregates, do not contain organic substances. Where the results of this analysis are by the requirements of aggregates which are one of the components in the concrete mixture, where the aggregates used must meet certain conditions, one of which must not contain excess organic matter because it can undergo decay by bacteria using dissolved oxygen; Second, from the test results obtained, the aggregate wear value (abrasion) was 32.69%; Third, based on the test results, the value of the Marshall parameter with Optimum Asphalt Content (KAO) obtained a value of 6.125%

    Defamation through social media is regulated in Article 27 Paragraph (3) of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions as amended by Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions. In fact, the article seems to be a rubber article because it can easily be applied, especially to events that actually fall within the scope of ordinary disputes between individuals through social media or limited to reality stories that then make personal offenses that are considered an attack on honor / good name. This then became a polemic in itself in the community because of the application of articles that are multiinterpretive without paying attention to the scope of events. The problem examined in this study is how the criminal provisions according to Article 27 (3) of the ITE Law and the limitations of the application of article 27 paragraph (3) of the ITE Law. As a form of problem solving for the polemic that continues to occur, on June 23, 2021, the government issued a Joint Decree of Criteria Guidelines.     Work Duration and Sleep Quality Among Young Workers (A Study In Coffee Shops In West Denpasar District)

    This study aimed to describe the work duration and sleep quality among young workers, conducted in coffee shops in the West Denpasar area in 2023. This study employed a quantitative descriptive method with an observational study design and a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 56 coffee shop workers in the West Denpasar area. The variables in this study included the age of workers, work duration, and sleep quality. Data collection was done using primary data through a questionnaire instrument, and data analysis involved descriptive statistical tests. The research results showed that the average age of workers was 20.39 years, with the youngest worker being 18 years old and the oldest 24 years old. The majority of workers had poor sleep quality (80.4%) and worked with a duration of ≥40 hours per week (83.9%). This study concludes that young workers mostly work for ≥40 hours per week and have poor sleep quality. These findings indicate that the conditions of young workers have high-risk factors that could potentially trigger workplace accidents
