    Get PDF
South Sumatra Province has a peat area of 1.4 million Ha. The distribution of peat soil in Ogan Ilir is 23,687.91 Ha. Peat soil has a low bearing capacity. This research aims to explain the effect of stabilization on peat soil characteristics. Peat soil samples were taken using the Block Sampling method. The research locations are Parit Village and Lorok Village, Ogan Ilir Regency. Peat soil needs better properties and is unsuitable for foundation soil for civil construction. To overcome this, one method of soil improvement is required, namely the chemical stabilization method: changing the chemical properties of the soil by adding a mixture. The mixture used is palm shell ash waste with variations of 0%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%. Soil properties (physical and chemical), SEM, EDS, PTS, and CBR tests were carried out to determine the effect of this mixture. Soil properties test results: water content () in Parit Village 226.39%, and Lorok Village 252.39%. The fiber content (FC) test results for Parit Village were 25.18% and for Lorok Village 28.01%. Peat soil is classified as fibrous peat soil. The CBR value for Parit Village was 4.60%, and Lorok Village was 4.16%. The results of the immersion CBR test showed that Parit Village had a curing period of 7 days, a variation of 5%, namely 4.68%.  Look Village obtained the most outstanding results: a curing period of 14 days, a variation of 25%, and 4.76%. The CBR value obtained in this study is 3%-5% (average) when used for subgrade strength with compaction conditions depending on the road category

This study aims to evaluate the managerial effectiveness and credit risk in predicting the market performance of non-cyclical sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2022. The number of samples is 38 companies so the total observation data is 190 data on 38 companies. This study uses a causal descriptive design approach where the measurement of managerial effectiveness uses return on net operating assets and credit risk is measured by debt to equity ratio. While measuring market performance using Tobin's Q.  The study used RNOA to measure managerial effectiveness, Tobin's Q to measure market performance and DER to measure credit risk. The results of the study show that 88.1% variation in the value of Tobin's Q in non-cyclical sector companies listed on the IDX can be explained by the return on net operating assets RNOA and debt to equity ratio DER.  which indicates that managerial effectiveness and credit risk play a crucial role in determining the company's market performance. Partially, the return on net operating assets of RNOA had a significant negative effect on Tobin's Q and the debt-to-equity ratio DER had a significant positive effect on Tobin's Q

Corporate Criminal Law Liability in Corruption Crimes Based on Perma RI Number 13 of 2016

    Get PDF
In Indonesian law, both individuals and legal entities such as corporations are recognized as legal subjects. Corporations, which are governed by civil law, are now increasingly associated with crime, particularly Corporate Crime. Although initially disputed, it is now accepted that legal entities can be involved in criminal acts and that corporations should be held accountable for their unlawful actions. Corporate Crime encompasses situations where corporations break the law for their benefit, often in disregard of applicable regulations and norms. This development marks a shift in criminal law from targeting individuals to also holding corporations accountable. Therefore, principles such as Vicarious Liability and Strict Liability become the basis for establishing legal liability for corporations. These principles ensure that corporations are responsible for their actions, similar to the liability imposed on individuals. Since the legal construction in Perma RI No. 13 Year 2016 is different from individuals, corporations require specific legal principles to regulate their liability. Concepts such as Vicarious Liability, Strict Liability, and others become important pillars in imposing responsibility on corporations. Recognizing corporations as perpetrators of criminal acts shows the evolution of the legal system to adjust to the complexity of modern business practices and uphold justice in an ever-changing society

The Relationship Between Coping Strategies and Resilience for Students with People Pleaser Tendency

    Get PDF
Entering the early adult phase as a student, they will experience natural selection with a decrease in the number of people closest to them due to their busy schedules and different responsibilities. Some of the students try to maintain by always pleasing the people around them and even sacrificing their own needs and desires so that the pressure experienced will feel heavier, students tend to be people pleasers will experience complex problems in lectures with their own responsibility and desires that tend to continue to make others happy with them. This has an impact on stress, anxiety and even depression, so resilience is needed so that students who tend to be people pleasers can overcome and survive the pressure and responsibility in their lives as students. One of the factors that affects resilience is the coping strategy so that students tend to be people pleasers who have a good coping strategy will have good resilience as well. The purpose of this study is to determine the contribution of the relationship between coping strategies and resilience to students with a tendency to be people pleaser in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data collection was carried out using a coping and resilience strategy scale with a Likert scale model. The number of respondents in this study was 200 students with a tendency to be people pleasers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta with an age range of 18-24 years. The results of this study show that there is a significant positive relationship between coping strategies and resilience. The effective contribution result was 59.8% and the correlation coefficient in this study was 0.773. The significance test in this study is 0.000 < 0.05

Urugan-type dams are the most common type of dam to work on in Indonesia, with a material composition that is easy to obtain and relatively more economical. Based on the results of slope stability, a sensitivity analysis will be carried out based on changes in slope slope to post-construction conditions, during reservoir operation water level and rapid drawdown conditions. In this study, we will analyze the changes in the value of safety factors that occur on the slope of the body of the Jragung Dam due to rapid drawdown events and seismicities (OBE and MDE) using the help of seepage analysis calculation software and slope stability. There are three models used, namely Model 1 using geometry according to DED (slope of upstream slope 1: 3.0 and slope of downstream slope 1: 2.5), Model 2 of using modification of field construction geometry (slope of upstream slope 1: 2.5 and slope of downstream slope 1: 2.5), Model 3 of using modification of field construction geometry (slope of upstream slope 1: 2.5 and slope of downstream slope 1:  2,25). From the three models, the initial stage will be processed to find the phreatic line on the dam body when drawdown and the next stage to find the value of the dam slope safety factor. After the overall analysis was carried out both in terms of seepage analysis and stability analysis of the three simulation models, for the construction in the field on the Jragung dam, the 3rd Model can be used, namely the proposed geometric modification with an upstream slope of 1: 2.5 and a downstream slope of 1: 2.25, and material parameters according to the availability specifications at the work site. Regarding the stability of the slope, it is noted that at the time of the MDE earthquake load of 10,000 years, when the rapid-drawdown conditions y/h = 0.5h and y/h = 0.75h there is a possibility that the Jragung dam will be damaged, but not collapsed

Pacenan house is a traditional house of the coastal area in Situbondo. The architectural style of Pacenan house is adapted from Tanean lanjhang traditional house. The spatial pattern of Pacenan house differs from that of Tanean Lanjhang, as Pacenan house only has "roma" (rooms) and "amper" (open spaces). However, over time, the spatial patterns of Pacenan house have transformed. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify the transformations in spatial patterns and their impact on the building shapes of Pacenan houses in Sumberejo, Situbondo. Research data was obtained through field observations and interviews. The data was then analyzed descriptively. The results indicate changes in spatial patterns occurring in Pacenan houses in the village of Sumberejo, including the addition of rooms and alterations in the function of spaces. Transformations in spatial patterns are influenced by space requirements, land availability, social factors, and economic considerations. The impact of these changes in spatial patterns varies; some result in alterations to the building's form, while others do not transform the structure
