Effect of Fermentation Duration and Glucose Concentration on Organoleptic Characteristics of Hard Candy Glucose Substitution of Coffee Pulp by Fermentation Method

    Get PDF
Coffee pulp is the outer layer of coffee pulp which is one type of waste from the coffee processing process that increases every year without maximum utilization. Coffee pulp contains cellulose (63%) which can be utilized in the manufacture of semi-finished products in the form of liquid sugar through the fermentation method. Phenol in coffee pulp causes a sour and astringent taste in processed products, so a fermentation process is needed to degrade phenol compounds during aerobic fermentation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the length of fermentation of coffee pulp on the phenol content of liquid sugar produced and to analyze the effect of the concentration of liquid sugar fermented from coffee pulp on the organoleptic characteristics of candy in the market. The test of phenol content using the Folin Ciocalteu method and the test of reducing sugar using the Nelson Somogyi method showed that the longer the fermentation process took place, the lower the levels of total phenol and reducing sugar in the juice and coffee pulp sugar produced. Sensory testing with the ranking test on 30 panellists showed that the variation of adding 20% coffee pulp fermented liquid sugar concentration was overall most liked by panellists because it was close to candy products in general with the highest sucrose concentration compared to other candy formulas

Application of Surveillance and Monitoring in the Mature Waterflood Field

    Get PDF
Waterflood is one of the keys in maintaining reservoir health and carrying out oil recovery in the secondary stage. In its development, the implementation of surveillance and monitoring activities is carried out to monitor waterflood performance both from the production and injection sides on a regular basis to maximize production optimization. However, there are many challenges that must be faced in developing waterflood, some of which are maintaining the Voidage Replacement Ratio (VRR) and the production of unexpected water. Therefore, a simpler and easy-to-apply surveillance and monitoring approach is needed. This paper describes how the application of waterflood surveillance and monitoring principles and practices is carried out in carrying out the oil recovery process and monitoring reservoir health. The reservoir health monitoring process includes several aspects such as Voidage Replacement Ratio (VRR) and Water-Oil Ratio (WOR), as well as identification of areas of interest of accumulated oil through the Production Attribute approach. The application is carried out on Field 'X' which has a typical production with a fairly high water cut. This approach was successfully applied to Field 'X' and gave the results of the approach that was quite ideal to be applie

The transportation industry has undergone significant changes due to technological developments and increasing consumer demand for efficiency. In Indonesia, the emergence of ride-hailing apps such as Go-Jek, Grab, and Maxim reflects a growing preference for the sharing economy model. This study aims to analyze the influence of hedonistic values, utilitarian values, and economic values on consumer satisfaction, as well as the influence of satisfaction on the intention to continue using this application. Data was collected from 210 active users through an online survey. The results showed that hedonistic value and economic value had a significant positive impact on user satisfaction, while utilitarian value had no effect. In addition, economic value and satisfaction have a positive effect on the intention to continue using ride-hailing services. In conclusion, to increase user loyalty, ride-hailing service providers need to prioritize increasing economic value and user satisfaction. This study provides insights into the development of services that are more in line with consumer needs and preferences in the digital era

Monetary policy is a policy set by the central bank to influence the circulation of money in the economy, which is reflected in the development of the money supply, interest rates, credit, exchange rates, and various other economic and financial variables. This study aims to analyze the influence of the implementation of women's rights in the Manpower Law on the level of welfare of women workers in the industrial sector. In the context of gender inequality that still occurs, it is important to explore how existing regulations can improve women's living and working conditions. This study uses a quantitative method with a sample consisting of female workers in several industrial companies. Data was collected through surveys that assessed the understanding and implementation of women's rights in the workplace, as well as their impact on their well-being. Data analysis was carried out using statistical techniques to test the hypothesis proposed. The results of the study are expected to provide a clear picture of the effectiveness of existing policies and their contribution to improving the welfare of women workers. The findings are also expected to serve as a reference for policymakers and companies in formulating better strategies to support women's rights in the industrial sector.Interest rate channel monetary policy is dominant in Indonesia because interest rates act as an instrument in the banking sector that regulates the quantity of money in society and can respond directly to changes in monetary policy.Interest rate channel monetary policy can be used to control fluctuating non-performing loans. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of interest rate channel monetary policy in the long term and short term on non-performing loans (NPL) of conventional commercial banks in Indonesia. This research uses the Error Correction Model (ECM) analysis tool. The research results show that the reference interest rate (BI Rate) has a significant short-term effect on non-performing loans. Deposit interest rates (rDEPO) and interbank money market interest rates (rPUAB) have a long-term influence on non-performing loans. Credit interest rates (rKRDT) have a significant long-term and short-term effect on non-performing loans. Meanwhile, the Bank Indonesia Certificate (rSBI) interest rate does not have a significant long-term or short-term effect on non-performing loans of conventional commercial banks in Indonesia

    Get PDF
Ad hoc organizers such as PPK, PPS, PPLN, KPPS, KPPSLN, Panwascam, PKD, Overseas Panwaslu, and TPS Supervisors are pioneers in the process of organizing elections in Indonesia. Therefore, the selection process carried out must be honest, fair, and independent to make ad hoc organizers professional and integrity. To create a professional election administration with integrity, regulations or guidelines are needed so that the ad hoc body has guidance in working so that the election administration carried out produces independent elections. The method in this writing is a qualitative descriptive method. The main data collection that the author uses in this article is a journal on Election Management. Article analysis uses analysis content. The result of this research informs us that in the ad hoc election body selection process, there are still several regulations issued by the KPU and BAWASLU that are still less efficient in the election ad hoc body selection process which results in the selected election organizers being less qualified. This article hoped to provide input on the process of holding elections in the following year

    Get PDF
Transpolitan is a government program to revitalize transmigration areas with a new paradigm. One indicator of Transpolitan's success in the economic dimension is that it can optimize the role of BUMDes as a legal entity that can manage village assets, where the BUMDes workforce absorption rate is the clearest indicator for assessing BUMDes performance. Based on the results of research conducted quantitatively, it was concluded that the internal variables: transportation, population number of people, rural markets, credit facilities, retail trade, tourist attractions have a significant influence on the workforce of BUMDes. However, partially the Transpolitan variable does not have a significant effect on the absorption of BUMDes workforce in Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Transpolitan does not have enough of an impact because it is felt that this program has not ben massively socialized to the community so it has not aroused people's interest in transmigrating to the Mutiara Area, Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province
