Improvement of Mro Material Procurement Efficiency Through the Six Sigma Concept at PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) TBK

    Get PDF
PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk (PTKS) is a State-Owned Enterprise engaged in the production of steel and related services. The MRO Procurement Department is a procurement function to process MRO Material purchasing at PTKS. The main problem currently faced is the lead time for the MRO material procurement process which takes a long time, the reason is that procurement is often conducted by spot method and repeatedly for the same material. Too long lead times pose a risk to the smooth production process due to the unavailability of MRO materials when needed. Referring to the MRO Procurement Department's KPI, >85% of the number of POs (Purchase Orders) issued must have a lead time of <41 days, however, based on the actual historical data for 2022, the PO lead time achievement for the MRO material procurement process does not meet the target. Department's KPI, >85% of the number of PO’s (Purchase Orders) issued must have a lead time of <41 days, however, based on the actual historical data for 2022, the PO lead time achievement for the MRO material procurement process does not reach the target. An alternative solution used to speed up procurement lead times is implementing a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) and/or Consignment Contract for MRO routine/consumable material types. The results obtained are that the long and complicated MRO material procurement process for the same type of material can be eliminated, which means that with the improvements made, the MRO Procurement Department can implement a more efficient procurement process.         &nbsp

    Get PDF
This research examines factors influencing consumers' impulse buying behavior in social commerce. This study adopts a quantitative approach. The research was conducted in Indonesia. The research population is TikTok app users who frequently use the TikTok Shop feature. This study reports the responses of 303 respondents using non-probability and purposive sampling techniques. Data were primarily gathered through self-reported online questionnaires. Partial Least Square (PLS) was then used to test the hypothesized relationships. This study's results indicate that social interactions, parasocial relationships with digital celebrities, and sale proneness are proven to influence the urge to buy impulsively, resulting in impulse buying behavior. Our study highlights the importance of online social interaction, parasocial relationships with digital celebrities, and sale proneness in influencing the urge to buy impulsively, resulting in impulse buying behavior. To our knowledge, this study is the first to find what caused impulse buying in social commerce in Indonesia. Almost no previous research has examined sale proneness as a moderating role, especially in developing countries. Social commerce must focus on creating a conducive buying and selling environment in social commerce, creating healthy price competition with conventional business actors and MSMEs, limiting and preventing market monopoly, and limiting or even prohibiting the sale of cheap products originating from China

Analysis of Railway Track Type Selection on the Lahat-Lubuklinggau Line

    Get PDF
Currently, the railway line from Lahat to Lubuklinggau uses the R.42 rail type with a crossing power capacity of 2,106 > 5,106 tons/year. An increase in road class is needed to increase crossing capacity. This research aims to determine the feasibility and impact of upgrading the rail type from R.42 to R.54 to improve the operational efficiency and safety of the Lahat-Lubuklinggau railway line. In this study, the author uses the railway loading method using the beam on the elastic foundation (BoEF) concept to calculate rail permit voltage to ensure that the capacity of the railroad can accommodate the load of railway traffic. The study results in show that with the upgrade of the railroad class to class III with the R.54 rail type, this line can transport a load of 5,924,001.60 tons/year, an increase from 1,838,390.40 tons/year. In addition, the track with the R.54 rail type also meets the requirements for trains with the largest load, considering that the allowable voltage (1,097.18 kg/cm²) is smaller than the previous rail allowable voltage (1,738.14 kg/cm²). It is estimated that the R.54 rail type has a life resistance of 16-17 years against crossing power without the Babaranjang train and for 9-10 years against crossing power with the Babaranjang train for the coming year

Based on the results of the analysis carried out on the 2 aspects measured in the scale adaptation, the ades meet the results of the scale adaptation test, namely the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) test, the internal reliability test, and the construct validity test so that the ades scale can be used to measure distress and eustress in adolescents. It was concluded that The Adolescent Distress-Eustress Scale instrument can measure stress through two dimensions, namely distress and eustress. The results of this study show that there is evidence of good validity and reliability
