Communication Contribution of IPNU Organization Gebang Kec. Cirebon District in the Development of Da'wah
Get PDFThe NU organization among students is IPNU-IPPNU; of course, it has a role in spreading the wings of Islamic da'wah, primarily through the Internet. Its function is to prevent the internet from being filled with content that does not contain education and people who are not responsible, especially people who can mislead the younger generation today. This study aims to analyze the contribution of IPNU organizational communication in Gebang District, Cirebon Regency, in developing da'wah science. The research method used in this study is the qualitative descriptive method. These sources are gathered based on discussion and linked from one piece of information to another. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and research. This data is analyzed, and then conclusions are drawn. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that IPNU Gebang District plays a role in the development of da'wah in its area, with various activities held, such as monthly and weekly routines. The forms of activity are Narayanan, Yasin, recitation of Al-Barjanji, and general recitation. Other activities supporting the development of da'wah are developing adolescents' interests and talents, such as journalistic training, graphic design, and public speaking

To find out the traditional fermentation process of Sikalut and Lais (Kryptopterus) fish in Butas Bagu Village. The purpose of this final project is to learn about the traditional fermentation process of lais fish (Cryptopterus Bicirrhis). Starting from Washing 1, Filleting, Disposing of Stomach Contents, Washing II, Draining Water, Salting, Freezing for 24 hours, Adding Cassava Dregs, and Putting Fish in Jars. Traditional fish processing should be done at night; the goal is to prevent flies from landing on the ingredients, and it should be done with caution if the preparations are mixed with other ingredients apart from cassava pulp or rice
Social Media in Controlling Tobacco Epidemic Among Adolescents and Young Adults: A Literature Review
Get PDFThis study aimed to gather information from the literature regarding the role of social media in tobacco control among adolescents and young adults, both domestically and internationally. The study utilized a literature review from articles on Google Scholar and PubMed published between 2019 and 2023. Inclusion criteria encompassed open-access articles related to interventions using social media to control tobacco consumption among adolescents and young adults, excluding modeling studies. Intervention outcomes were assessed and extracted in narrative form. Fourteen articles met the inclusion criteria (11 original research articles and 3 articles with secondary data). Research designs in the original research articles included Randomized Control Trials (RCTs) and in-depth interviews. Studies utilizing WeChat and WhatsApp demonstrated favorable intervention outcomes in delivering tobacco control messages. Peer mentoring through Instagram was also considered easily accessible for adolescents. Other social media platforms facilitating global discussions, such as Twitter, can enhance public literacy on electronic cigarettes and facilitate the implementation of electronic cigarette policies. Social media interventions in tobacco control are more readily accepted by adolescents, easily accessible, cost-effective, and provide post-intervention social support. The presence of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and message-writing techniques on social media should be considered in health promotion. Research on public perceptions of tobacco control messages delivered by KOLs could be considered for further studies
The Influence of Viral Marketing on Tiktok Shop Live Streaming on Erigo Product Purchase Decisions
Get PDFViral marketing has become a popular phenomenon in efforts to disseminate information and marketing of a product or service. Information and content is disseminated on digital media in social networks. This study used a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires with the Google Form platform which was shown to student respondents in Communication Studies, University of Muhammadiyah Magelang. Respondents were active students in semesters 2, 4, 6, and 8 of the Communication Studies study program and there were 92 respondents. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using statistical techniques, including validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, and regression analysis tests to see the magnitude of the influence between the variables. The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of live streaming on the tiktok shop on purchasing decisions for Erigo products, to analyze the effect of live streaming on tiktok shops to viral marketing, to analyze the influence of viral marketing on purchasing decisions for Erigo products. The results of this study can provide valuable insights for marketing practitioners in designing more effective viral marketing strategies. The results of this study indicate that viral marketing on live streaming of the Tiktok brand Erigo has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for the Erigo brand

Linear Regression-Based Traffic Flow Simulation: Vehicle Density and Speed Analysis on Buah Batu Road
Get PDFTraffic congestion has become an increasingly severe problem in many major cities around the world, including in the city of Bandung. Population growth and increased vehicle use exacerbate congestion. Jalan Buah Batu, one of the main roads in the city of Bandung, often experiences congestion due to high density. This study explains the traffic flow simulation using the Lighthill-Whitham-Richards (LWR) model with a speed-density function obtained from observation data on Jalan Buah Batu, Bandung. The data included the relationship between vehicle density and speed which was then analyzed using the linear regression method. The approximation of the velocity-density function obtained from linear regression is v(ρ)= -6.904+4.302. Traffic flow simulations were carried out with a road length of 60 meters, a total time of 5 minutes, and high resolution with 300 grid points. At the beginning of the simulation, a peak density of 0.70 occurred in a 15-25 meter road segment. Over time, the peak density shifted and decreased: 0.65 at 20-30 meters at 1.25 minutes, 0.60 at 25-35 meters at 2.5 minutes, and 0.50 at 30-50 meters at the end of the simulation (5 minutes). These results show the movement of vehicles that reduce congestion and improve the smooth flow of traffic. In conclusion, linear regression is effective in determining the velocity-density function

Get PDFThis study aims to understand the role of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in improving community welfare in Sumber Urip Village, Selupu Rejang District, Rejang Lebong Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that PKH has succeeded in increasing the access of the poor to basic services such as education and health. In addition, community participation in this program has also increased from year to year, especially in the field of education. However, several challenges in the implementation of the program still exist, such as inequality in receiving assistance and lack of awareness among beneficiaries. This study provides an overview of the effectiveness of PKH in breaking the chain of poverty and improving community welfare, as well as the factors that affect its succes
An Examination of Umar bin Khattab's Policy on Zakat as a Social Security Net in the Context of Post-Covid-19 Pandemic in Indonesia

To prevent impacts on vulnerable populations, it is essential to have a strong social safety net in the face of these difficulties. The purpose of this study is to examine the potential of zakat, the obligation of Islam to redistribute wealth, as an innovative social safety net, based on the policies of Umar bin Khattab, the second Islamic Caliph. By exploring Umar's visionary approach to zakat distribution and its relevance in contemporary times, this study examines how zakat can be used as an effective mechanism to alleviate the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic for those most affected. This research uses a qualitative research approach By integrating insights from contemporary case studies and stakeholder consultations, this research proposes a comprehensive framework for implementing a robust zakat distribution system that is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This emphasizes the importance of transparent governance, accountability mechanisms, and the involvement of Islamic financial institutions, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and community-based organizations in the zakat management process. Ultimately, this study offers an interesting case for reviving the spirit of Umar bin Khattab's zakat policy, showing how this ancient Islamic practice can serve as a powerful tool to promote financial inclusion, foster economic resilience, and support sustainable development in the face of modern crises such as the Covid-19 pandemic

The research analyzes short-, medium-, and long-term financial planning to achieve profitability and business sustainability. A qualitative descriptive method and thematic analysis were employed for data analysis. The study examines key financial planning elements, including revenue planning, cost management, capital requirements, and five-year financial projections. The results show that sound financial planning can help the company achieve profitability targets within five years, indicated by a positive NPV, IRR above 10%, and a payback period of less than four years. The company's projected revenue growth is expected to remain stable through diversification of revenue streams and efficient capital management. The Relationship Between The Intensity of Using Tiktok Social Media on Self-Confidence in College Students
Get PDFThis research aims to analyze the relationship between the intensity of TikTok social media use and confidence in students, to find out the increase in confidence in the intensity of TikTok social media use in students, and to find out whether the intensity of TikTok social media use decreases confidence in students. The research approach carried out is quantitative. The data collection technique in this study is a list of questions (questioner). Data was collected through a questionnaire shared with 384 active student respondents at various Indonesian universities who used TikTok social media. In this study, the results of the analysis showed a significant positive relationship between the intensity of TikTok social media use and self-confidence. So, it can be said that there is a relationship between the intensity of TikTok social media use and confidence. Thus, students who intensely use TikTok social media experience an increase in confidence and students who intensely use TikTok social media do not experience a decrease in confidence. This finding is expected to provide students with insight into the intensity of TikTok social media use and how it can affect self-confidence. Therefore, students need to use TikTok social media wisely to choose to watch positive videos in order to increase their confidence
