Adaptation of the Five-by-Five Resilience Scale in Indonesian

    Get PDF
Resilience is the ability of individuals to be able to adapt and rise from difficult conditions or situations. The Five-by-Five Resilience Scale is a measurement tool developed by DeSimone et al (2016) to measure individual resilience. There are five protective factors of resilience, namely adaptation, emotional regulation, optimism, self-efficacy and social support. This research aims to adapt the Five-by-Five Resilience Scale into Indonesian. This research was conducted because there has been no testing of the Indonesian version of the Five-by-Five Resilience Scale. The subjects involved in the study were 267 subjects with an age range of 18 - 25 years who were domiciled in Indonesia. Based on the results of psychometric testing through Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), 4 factors were obtained that build the Five-by-Five Resilience Scale. The results also show that the Five-by-Five Resilience Scale has a correlation with other measuring tools in convergence validity testing. The reliability test results show that the dimensions on the Five-by-Five Resilience Scale as a whole have a reliability > 0.7

    Get PDF
Raw materials are very important because raw materials are something that will determine whether the products produced are good and by the wishes of consumers or not, so it is necessary to pay attention to the provider of raw materials, namely the supplier of raw materials. The purpose of this research is to be able to find out the best suppliers by relying on the criteria that are the key criteria. In this study, the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) and Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) methods were used. The ISM method is useful for sorting out the criteria used so that it is obtained only in the form of key criteria while the SMART method is useful for determining the best supplier based on the existing key criteria. The results of this study are obtained from 9 key criteria out of 12 criteria used, namely quality criteria, delivery of goods, price of goods, communication system, control in operation, service improvement, attitude, packaging ability, and geographical location. The supplier that has the highest criteria based on the key criteria used is Sinar Terang supplier with a score of 0.5895 followed by Cece (0.555), Av (0.555), Aroma (0.5305), Harapan (0.5155), and finally Laris (0.4005)

    Get PDF
PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, the largest livestock company in Indonesia, was established in 1972 as PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Animal Feedmil Co. Limited. Today, the company is expanding with a focus on livestock activities such as broiler breeding, poultry slaughterhouses, and packing, processing of meat and poultry products, cultivation of broiler chickens, and a large trade in live animals and chicken meat. This study aims to identify the obstacles that occur in the process of shipping chickens, both experienced by farmers and by chicken expedition companies. In addition, this research also aims to improve livestock product delivery services by applying the Design Thinking approach. In the context of the livestock industry, the delivery of products such as live DOC chickens requires special handling, especially related to temperature and humidity, considering the vulnerability of DOC chickens to environmental changes. With a focus on partner logistics companies PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, namely CV. Joint Work. The researcher included the Design Thinking method. The results of this research are expected to make a significant contribution to improving the quality of livestock product delivery services, improving operational efficiency, and providing a better experience for stakeholders

    Get PDF
The use of Kahoot in today's digital era is increasingly important in supporting an interactive and fun learning process. As a gamification-based learning platform, Kahoot allows educators to create quizzes and challenges that are accessible online, increasing student engagement and facilitating active learning. So this research aims to explain the use of Kahoot! to support Game-Based Learning. The method used in this study uses the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses method commonly called PRISMA. The results of the 11 articles used in this review literature show that activeness in the learning process makes learning interactive and interesting and becomes one of the learning media options for teachers. Conclusion After studying the use of Kahoot in ICE, interest arose in the potential of this platform in supporting learning through gamification. Kahoot creates interactive learning experiences with real-time quizzes and challenges, which increases student engagement. Research shows that the platform makes the learning atmosphere competitive and fun, and provides live evaluation for teacher feedback. Thus, Kahoot can motivate students and improve academic outcomes

Utilization of Immersive Technology in Qualitative Research Design: Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) Opportunities

    Get PDF
This study examines the potential use of immersive technology, especially Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), in qualitative research design. As technology advances, VR and AR open up new opportunities to improve the quality and depth of data collection and analysis in qualitative research. Through a systematic literature review and case studies, this study explores various applications of immersive technology in the context of qualitative research, including environmental simulations for observation, immersive interviews, and analysis of enriched visual data. The findings suggest that VR and AR can increase participant engagement, expand the reach of data collection, and provide a new perspective in the analysis of social phenomena. However, the study also identifies ethical and methodological challenges that need to be addressed, such as data privacy issues and the validity of results in a virtual environment. The study concludes that the integration of immersive technologies in qualitative research has significant potential to enrich research methodologies while emphasizing the importance of a careful and ethical approach in its implementation. The implications for the development of qualitative research methodologies in the digital era are also discussed

    Get PDF
Transjakarta has implemented smart mobility i.e. the information technology (IT) and artificial intelligence (AI), and therefore this study focuses to discuss the performance of its smart mobility practices. The measurement of smart mobility performance in Transjakarta was carried out using in-depth analysis for each of variables such as load factor, travel speed, headway, frequency, waiting time, service time and circulation time. The perception of Transjakarta passangers was collected using distributed questionnaires in online surveys to obtain public aspirations for smart mobility service performance improvement. A total of 434 respondents filled the questionnaires which were distributed randomly in three bus corridors. As a result, 261 resondents (60,14%) stated that Passenger Information System (PIS) has given accurate information about the schedule of Transjakarta, while 173 respondents (39,86%) stated otherwise. In conclusion, the service performance in Transjakarta Corridor 1,3, and 9 can be categorized as medium when compared to official minimum service standard

    Get PDF
This study aims to evaluate the innovation of making otak-otak by replacing tapioca flour with sweet potatoes as the basic ingredient of otak-brain. Otak-otak is a traditional Indonesian food that is generally made from fish, tapioca flour, and other spices. Along with increasing awareness of healthier lifestyle patterns, these innovations are expected to offer more nutritious alternatives. Sweet potatoes with low glycemic content and high fiber are expected to increase the nutritional value of the brain and support digestive health and weight management. The research method used is an experimental method. The manufacturing process involves shredded sweet potatoes, processing ebi, processing other ingredients, and steaming. The product quality assessment was carried out by an organoleptic test involving 50 panelists to assess aspects of taste, color, texture, aroma, and appearance. The results of the organoleptic test showed that the tuber-based brains were well-received by the panelists. Taste rating 86% of panelists rated the product as good to very tasty. The color of the product was considered attractive by 78% of the panelists. The texture of the product was rated soft by 70% of the panelists, and the assessment of aroma and appearance had positive values, 86%, and 76% respectively by the panelists. The results of this study state that brain-brain innovation by using sweet potatoes as a substitute for tapioca flour has succeeded in producing healthier and still delicious products. In addition to being beneficial to health, the use of sweet potatoes can also support the local economy and strengthen food security. Therefore, it is hoped that this research can be useful for people who are interested in tuber-based brains
