    THE INFLUENCE OF UNCERTAINTY, COMMUNICATION AND EMPLOYEE PASSION ON READINESS TO CHANGE AT PT XYZ

    Organizational change often brings uncertainty among employees, which can affect their readiness to adapt to the change. In this context, effective communication and employee passion are key factors in reducing uncertainty and increasing readiness to change. PT XYZ, a large manufacturing company in Indonesia, is undergoing a digital transformation through the implementation of a new ERP system aimed at improving work efficiency and effectiveness. This study aims to explore the influence of uncertainty, communication, and passion on employee readiness to change at PT XYZ. The objective of this study is to examine the influence of uncertainty, communication, and employee passion on readiness to change at PT XYZ. This study also aims to identify the most significant factors affecting employee readiness to adapt to the ongoing changes. Thus, it is expected that this research will provide valuable insights for PT XYZ's management in managing change and minimizing employee resistance. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 266 employees across various departments and analyzed with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The findings reveal that uncertainty negatively affects readiness to change, while effective communication and employee passion significantly enhance it. Notably, communication effectiveness and employees’ enthusiasm for change emerged as key drivers of organizational adaptability. The study highlights the need for PT XYZ’s management to minimize uncertainty through transparent communication strategies and foster a positive work culture to enhance employee readiness. These insights provide valuable guidance for organizations undergoing similar transformations, emphasizing the critical role of communication and employee engagement in change management success

    In this day and age, it is very difficult to find food that is rich in nutrients and nutritious, one of the foods that is rich in nutrients can be a typical Betawi food, namely putu mayang cake. If innovated with brown rice, putu mayang cake will be more nutritious and have a lot of nutrients. As well as the nutrition and nutritional content of brown rice, putu mayang cake will look more nutritious and rich in nutrients. Experimental research on the manufacture of putu mayang involves the division of research subjects or objects into control groups and treatment groups, where the treatment group is subjected to certain treatments while the control group is not. This research aims to uncover the Utilization of Brown Rice as a Fortification of Putu Mayang. This study uses an experimental design with a variation of the addition of brown rice as an addition to fortification in the manufacture of putu mayang. This variation was carried out to determine the effect of the addition of brown rice on the fortification of putu mayang cake making. The data from the organoleptic test results include aspects of taste, color, and texture aroma with the use of brown rice flour. The power test of the level of favorability or hedonic test was carried out on the panelists, which amounted to 30 people. Based on the results of consumer acceptance, consumers accept a variety of wheat flour mixtures with different levels, this is due to the large nutritional content possessed by brown rice flour, but the taste of Putu Mayang is not so disturbed, it's just that the texture is a little hard because the more brown rice flour content is included, the less coarse the texture will be

    The Principles of Democracy from an Islamic Perspective and Its Review in the Qur'an

    Democracy from an Islamic perspective remains an ongoing debate among Muslim intellectuals. This research formulates the principles of democracy from an Islamic perspective and reviews them in the Quran. Issues related to Islam and democracy are still a matter of debate among Muslim intellectuals; some reject democracy with Islam because it is seen as contradictory, and some support Islam and democracy because it is in line with the concept of Shura. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the principles of democracy in Islam and the exorcism of democracy itself. The method used in this study is a qualitative literature review concerning primary data sources obtained from Google Scholars, especially those that discuss democracy in Islam. The findings show that Islam is not anti-democracy because the principles and principles in Islamic teachings support democracy. Democracy in Islam has principles that differ from democracy in the West. Among them are the principle of deliberation, the principle of equality, the principle of power as a mandate, and the principle of people's obedience. Democracy is vital in Islamic education, namely in respecting human values and developing creativity. This study concludes that democracy in Islam is not merely about a political system but also about the values of justice and the well-being of the ummah. This research implies the necessity of integrating Islamic values into modern democratic practices to align with Islamic teachings while maintaining the universal principles of democracy

    Copyright Law Protection in Metaverse, The Sandbox Based on Positive Law in Indonesia

    Metaverse, as one of the innovations of technological developments, can present copyright in it, such as the existence of NFTs in The Sandbox metaverse. The existence of NFTs as digital copyrights in The Sandbox raises problems, one of which is that legal regulations in Indonesia need to regulate the ownership and position of NFTs clearly, and no system can confirm the authenticity of these NFTs. This study aims to determine the protection of NFTs in The Sandbox metaverse and to find out the technical settings in The Sandbox metaverse to protect NFTs based on legal, technological, and theoretical aspects used in research. This research uses normative juridical methods by analyzing laws, regulations, and legal literature. Although not explicitly regulated in Indonesia's positive law, NFT as a digital work in The Sandbox is an object of copyright referring to the Copyright Law.     Chemical Castration in Perpetrators of Sexual Violence

    Regulations on chemical castration for perpetrators of sexual violence have been stipulated in the legislation in Indonesia, Law 17 of 2016. Then followed up with Government Regulation (PP) NO 70 OF 2020 which regulates in more detail the chemical castration procedure. However, at the level of implementation, medical and bioethical perspectives, there are still pros and cons. The paradigm of the group that agrees to perform chemical castration on perpetrators, the act of chemical castration causes a decrease in sex hormone (testosterone) levels, thus helping perpetrators manage sex drive more controllable. The paradigm of the group that does not agree on the act of chemical castration, from the aspect of low levels of sex hormones, will cause discomfort or health problems in the perpetrator. On the other hand, the performing physician believes that the doctor's job is to help, not cause discomfort.     Regional General Hospital (RSUD) is a Government-Owned Hospital tasked with providing health services for the community. The purpose of this study is to measure the financial performance of the Siti Fatimah Regional General Hospital (RSUD) of South Sumatra Province; since 2018, it has become a Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD). Data collection techniques are carried out by interview, observation and documentation methods. The data analysis method uses Financial Ratios and BLU Financial Management Compliance by the Regulation of the Director General of Treasury Number PER-22 / PB / 2020. The results of this study, from 2018 to 2022, when viewed from Financial Ratios, show that several ratios have not received optimal scores. Several indicators have not received an optimal score from the BLU Financial Management Compliance level. When viewed as a whole from the assessment of financial aspect performance, Siti Fatimah Hospital of South Sumatra Province has received a GOOD predicate. However, it has not achieved the most optimal score

    Erosion is the loss or erosion of land or parts of land from a place by water or wind. Erosion causes the loss of fertile soil layers that are good for plant growth and reduces the soil's ability to absorb and retain water. The Liliba watershed area in Kupang City includes Maulafa District, Oebobo District, Kelapa Lima District. The Liliba River Watershed (DAS) is part of the development of the Noelmina River area which flows into Oesapa Beach. The Liliba watershed has an area of 4,534 hectares with a main river length of 20,176.22 m. Using the USLE Method and SDR Transport Analysis, it was found that the erosion that occurred was 3.72 tonnes per year and the amount of sediment transport that occurred was 2.73 tonnes per year

    The Role of Restitution in Trafficking

    Trafficking in Persons (TPPO) is a grave human rights violation because it causes various negative impacts on victims physically, psychologically, or socio-economically; one of the efforts to restore victims of TPPO is through restitution. This research explores the role of restitution in the context of TPPO. This research adopts a qualitative approach by collecting data through a literature study. Furthermore, the data is analysed through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of the research indicate that restitution plays a vital role as a remedy and legal protection for victims of human trafficking. In its application, the punishment for the obligation to pay restitution can be replaced with imprisonment. Criminal punishment is not merely a deterrent effect on the convicted person, but recovery for the victim of the crime itself through restitution must be considered

    The church is an entity that aims not to make a profit, so financial accountability is an important aspect of the church. Good financial accountability can only be realized if the financial reports’ church accepts financial accounting standards. The financial accounting standard governing the financial reporting financial reporting of nonprofit-reinterpretation of Financial Accounting Standards (ISAK) 35. By applying ISAK 35 in presenting church financial reports, it is hoped that parties interested in the church can assess the performance of church management and increase the congregation’s trust in the church administrator. The research location is at the HKBP Bandar Klippa Resort Epiphanias Tembung District X Medan Aceh. Data was collected through interviews and documentation. The validity of the data was tested by the triangulation method. This study aims to present church financial reports based on ISAK 35. In 2022, HKBP Bandar Klippa will have a Rp deficit (39.736.895). Also, in 2022, there were some additional fixed assets. There are two units of fans, 1 unit of keyboard, and 1 unit of audio mics, and the Sunday school building will be inaugurated in November 2023.     Priority Strategy For Improving Dam Operation and Maintenance Performance (Cacaban Dam Case Study)

    Dam operation and maintenance activities are critical, so the dam usually works and provides benefits according to plan. Over time, the performance of the Cacaban Dam has decreased significantly. The physical condition of the main building, supporting buildings, and instruments have experienced damage, which could pose a risk to the dam's safety. The main objective of this research is to determine priority strategies for improving operations and maintenance of the Cacaban Dam. Determining priority strategies for improving operations and maintenance in this research uses the DSS (Decision Support System) method with SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat) and QSPM (Quantitative techniques Strategic Planning Matrix). Based on the SWOT analysis results, the resulting strategy is the Diversity Strategy, meaning that the Cacaban Dam is in good internal condition. In contrast, the external condition is not good. The proposed strategy is to minimize external threats/threats with strategic priorities referring to the scoring results using the QSPM method. Meanwhile, from the results of the dam performance assessment, Cacaban Dam obtained an average performance score of 3.45, considered adequate performance. However, if you look at several items of poor performance, there are two items, namely reservoir condition and border and greenbelt conditions, which have poor performance. There are seven components, namely intake buildings, spillway buildings, support hills, dam services, emergency action plans, instrumentation, and surrounding communities, whose performance is quite close to the deficient limit and has the potential for performance to decline. Extra handling is needed to restore the performance of dams and reservoirs
