    Rancang Bangun Alat Penyortir Beras Dengan Sistem Penggerak Motor Listrik

    Rice is the staple food most consumed by Indonesians which is produced from milling dry unhusked rice grain. In the dry unhusked rice grain milling process, rice has different forms, namely whole and cracked rice. This is due to the poor quality of the paddy rice. The different in forms has led to a different selling value. Whole rice is more expensive than the other. Therefore, sorting was done to obtain the differences. This study was carried out to build rice sorting device with a system in the form of a launch crank mechanism as a vibration system. This device has several components consisting of two mesh and two turnbuckle eye & eye as the sieve tilt adjustment. In the tilt experiment, two variations of the angle were obtained, namely an angle of 10° and an angle of 15°. This device uses a single-phase electric motor as the driving force of the launching crankshaft. The transmission system uses a pulley and a v-belt from a single-phase electric motor that is passed to the pulley. From the test results that have been carried out two-angle variations with a capacity of 10 kg. At an angle of 15°, 69% pure rice is obtained with less optimal results because the slope of the angle is too steep. Whereas at an angle of 10°, the yield of pure rice is 85% which has a less angular slope so that the sorting of rice is maximized.Beras merupakan makanan pokok yang paling banyak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat Indonesia yang dihasilkan dari penggilingan gabah kering. Pada proses penggilingan gabah kering terdapat beras yang berbeda bentuk yaitu beras utuh dan tidak utuh. Hal itu disebabkan oleh kualitas padi yang kurang bagus. Dari perbedaan bentuk beras memiliki nilai jual yang lebih tinggi. Beras yang utuh akan lebih mahal dibandingkan beras yang tidak utuh. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penyortiran untuk mendapatkan perbedaan beras. Penelitian ini membuat suatu alat penyotir beras dengan sistem berupa mekanisme engkol peluncur sebagai sistem getaran. Alat ini mempunyai beberapa komponen yang terdiri dari dua mesh dan dua buah turnbuckle eye & eye sebagai pengaturan kemiringan ayakan. Dalam eksperimen kemiringan didapat dua variasi sudut yaitu sudut 10° dan sudut 15°. Pada alat ini menggunakan motor listrik satu phase sebagai penggerak poros engkol peluncur. Sistem transmisi menggunakan pulley dan v-belt yang dari motor listrik satu phase yang diteruskan ke pulley. Dari hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan variasi dua sudut dengan kapasitas 10 kg. Pada sudut 15° didapatkan beras murni 69% dengan hasil kurang maksimal karena kemiringan sudut terlalu curam. Sedangkan pada sudut 10° didapatkan hasil beras murni 85% yang mempunyai kemiringan sudut lebih minim sehingga penyortiran beras lebih maksimal

    Analisis Jumlah Tenaga Kerja Optimal Dengan Metode Work Load Analysis (WLA) di PT. RSI

    Workload of employees at PT. RSI in the pressing department is still low, because in the pressing section the division of work for each employee is not optimal or evenly distributed. So it is necessary to do research with the title Analysis of the Optimal Workforce at PT. RSI. The method used for testing the optimal amount of load is the Work Load Analysis (WLA) method, which aims to calculate the optimal workload and number of workers at PT. RSI. The sample in this study were 15 employees in the pressing department which were divided into 4 sections, where section 1 had 4 employees, section 2 had 4 employees, section 3 had 4 employees, and section 4 contained 3 employees. The results of this study indicate that the workload before the research in section 1 was 52% to 70%, part 2 from 51% to 68%, part 3 from 56% to 75%, and part 4 still 71% because there was no reduction in labor., because the workload in section 4 is optimal. So the optimal number of workers in the pressing department is 3 employees in section 1, 3 employees in section 2, 3 employees, and 4 still 3 employees.Beban kerja karyawan di PT. RSI di departemen pressing masih rendah, dikarenakan pada bagian pressing pembagian kerja pada masing-masing karyawan belum optimal atau merata. Maka perlu dilakukan penelitian dengan judul Analisis Jumlah Tenaga Kerja Optimal di PT. RSI. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengujian jumlah beban yang optimal dengan metode Work Load Analysis (WLA), yang tujuannya untuk menghitung beban kerja dan jumlah tenaga kerja optimal di PT. RSI. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 15 karyawan di departemen pressing yang dibagi menjadi 4 bagian, dimana bagian 1 terdapat 4 karyawan, bagian 2 terdapat 4 karyawan, bagian 3 terdapat 4 karyawan, dan bagian 4 terdapat 3 karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa beban kerja sebelum dilakukan penelitian pada bagian 1 sebesar 52% menjadi 70%, bagian 2 dari 51% menjadi 68%, bagian 3 dari 56% menjadi 75%, dan bagian 4 masih tetap 71% karena tidak dilakukan pengurangan tenaga kerja, diakibatkan beban kerja di bagian 4 sudah optimal. Jadi jumlah tenaga kerja yang optimal di departemen pressing adalah pada bagian 1 berjumlah 3 karyawan, bagian 2 berjumlah 3 karyawan, bagian 3 berjumlah 3 karyawan, dan bagian 4 tetap berjumlah 3 karyawan

    Mengingat indonesia merupakan negara tropis, ketersediaan energi matahari cukup melimpah di Indonesia karena musim kemarau berlangsung selama 6 bulan. Photovoltaik juga dapat digunakan sebagai sumber energi listrik di daerah terpencil yang masih belum terjangkau oleh PLN. Rancangan Cuk konverter dipilih karena mampu menurunkan dan menaikkan tegangan sumber dari photovoltaik 200WP. Kelebihan cuk konventer mampu mengurangi ripple pada keluaran PV yang dapat menyebabkan tegangan akan lama mencapai konstan. Metode MPP tracking yang terkenal adalah metode perturb and observe (P&O). PWM digunakan untuk mengontrol konverter dan mengontrol tegangan yang di inginkan. Hasil pengujian tegangan masukan power supply 12V. dengan duty cycle 10% menghasilakan tegangan  1.99V. Sementara hasil pengujian masukan power supply 12V, dengan duty cycle 60% menghasilkan tegangan 11.59V. Penerapan P&O pada cuk konverter dirasa cukup efektif pada sistem photovoltaik dengan hasil yang cukup stabil dengan rata-rata keluaran tegangan 23,848 Volt.     A mobile robots is one of the solution to overcome the deficiency of security surveillance camera systems that are static in nature, which are vulnerable to blind spots on the results of their observations. In this research, the surveillance robot is made to resemble the shape of a mars rover robot that is applied to be able to move more freely to stalk areas and be able to navigate on uneven surfaces. The movement of the surveillance robot wheel uses a wireless PS 2 remote control and is driven by a DC motor rotation as its main drive. The connection between the PS2 Remote Control and the surveillance robot is by using the Arduino Uno. In addition, this robot will be equipped with a camera that will send visual surveillance results from the robot to the smartphone

    The development of digital image technology is increasing nowadays. However, the use of image technology on surveillance cameras has not been optimally utilized. On the other hand, the various presence data monitoring systems that currently exist have their respective advantages and disadvantages, and need to be continuously developed so as to facilitate the data processing. The student attendance system at STT Bandung is basically good but it is still not optimal. The process of collecting student attendance data is still quite time-consuming and still allows human errors to occur in the data input process. Therefore, the author intends to help overcome this by utilizing face recognition technology in an integrated presence process. LBPH (Local Binary Pattern Histogram) is currently the best method in face recognition technology because the detection and recognition process is relatively fast and has the highest level of accuracy when compared to other methods. After testing the resilience of the system from the results of the prototyping that was built, the results obtained with a success rate of 86.85%

    Physical activity related to work activities on production operators is one of the jobs that needs attention. Operator activity on CV. Primavera, which is engaged in garments, especially in the fabric cutting Laser. section, is a fabric cutting process that uses high-power laser technology that is emitted from a generator on the workpiece, the cutting movement is controlled through a computer so that the possibility of slipping is small. During the cutting laser process, workers stand in front of the cutting laser machine and bend over while setting the fabric size according to the basket. These complaints arise due to non-ergonomic work postures causing pain in some parts of the body felt by workers. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of risk and the percentage of complaints felt during cutting laser. The methods used are Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) and Nordic Body Map (NBM), based on the REBA method the work risks faced by workers in cutting laser cloth with a high level of scores in the range of 8-10, high category of action so it needs to be done immediately improvement of work posture. The Nordic Body Map shows the first body segment on the back with a score of 9, the second body segment on the right shoulder with a score of 8, the third body segment on the waist with a score of 8, the fourth body segment on the buttocks with a score of 8, and the fifth body segment on the legs. right with a score of 8, due to a bent work posture during the cutting laser process and fabric size settings as well as age and length of work factors that also affect the questionnaire.Kegiatan fisik yang berhubungan dengan aktivitas kerja pada operator produksi merupakan salah satu pekerjaan perlu diperhatikan. Aktifitas operator pada CV. Primavera yang bergerak di bidang garment terutama bagian cutting laser kain adalah proses pemotongan kain yang menggunakan teknologi sinar laser berdaya tinggi yang dipancarkan dari generator mengenai benda kerja, pergerakan pemotongan dikontrol melalui komputer sehingga kemungkinan melesetnya kecil. Pada saat proses cutting laser, pekerja berdiri didepan mesin cutting laser dan membungkuk saat penyetingan ukuran kain sesuai keranjang. Keluhan tersebut muncul disebabkan postur tubuh kerja yang tidak ergonomi menyebabkan timbulnya rasa sakit pada beberapa bagian tubuh yang dirasakan pekerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat resiko dan persentase keluhan yang dirasakan selama cutting laser. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) dan Nordic Body Map (NBM), berdasarkan metode REBA resiko kerja yang di hadapi pekerja dalam cutting laser kain dengan level tinggi skor yang dihadapi dikisaran 8-10, kategori tindakan tinggi sehingga perlu segera dilakukan perbaikan postur kerja. Nordic Body Map menunjukan segmen tubuh yang pertama pada bagian punggung dengan skor 9, segmen tubuh kedua pada bagian kanan bahu dengan skor 8, segmen tubuh ketiga bagian pinggang skor 8, segmen tubuh keempat pada bagian pantat skor 8, dan segmen tubuh kelima pada bagian kaki kanan dengan skor 8, disebabkan postur kerja yang membungkuk saat proses cutting laser dan penyetingan ukuran kain serta faktor umur dan lama bekerja ikut mempengaruhi kuesioner

    The purpose of this study is to plan effective preventive maintenance activities so as to ensure the reliability of the system, so that it can operate without experiencing component damage components that cause system failure. The working system of the part number 541674-4 Ram Air Actuator of The Boeing 737 NG aircraft is often damaged, resulting in failure of the operational system, the cause of operational system failure is damage to the Wear and Bearing Damage component, Housing assembly, Bearing Damge problem, Wear Damage, Electrical Problem Stuck. These problems encourage research to overcome the damage and failure on the Ram Air Actuator system of the Boeing 737 NG. The study was carried out using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis was carried out using the FMEA (failure mode effect analysis) method to identify and identify the cause of failure in the Ram Air Actuator system, quantitative analysis was carried out by calculating reliability using the Weibull distribution so that the life time limit was known. Critical part or Ram Air Actuator component. Based on the results of the reliability analysis, the operational time limit value is obtained, where the system will experience a critical period when it reaches operational time, namely Mechanical system = 1680 hours with a reliability value of 72%, Electrical system = 3401 hours with a reliability value of 72%, Pneumatic system = 3201 hours with a value of reliability 70%. After knowing the critical life time limit, preventive maintenance plans will be carried out on the parts and components that cause failure so that the Ram Air Actuator system failure of the Boeing 737 NG aircraft will not occur.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merencanakan aktifitas preventive maintenanance yang efektif sehingga dapat menjamin kehandalan sistem, agar dapat beroperai tanpa mengalami kerusakan komponen yang menyebabkan kegagalan sistem. Sistem kerja Ram Air Actuator Part Number 541674-4 pesawat Boeing 737 NG sering mengalami kerusakan sehingga mengakibatkan kegagalan pada operasional sistem, penyebab kegagalan sistem operasional adalah Kerusakan pada komponen wear and bearing damage, housing assembly, problem bearing damge, wear damage, electrical problem stuck. Permasalah tesebut mendorong dilakukannya penelitian untuk menanggulagi kerusakan dan kegagalan pada sistem Ram Air Actuator pesawat boeing 737 NG. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif, analisis kualitatif yang dilaksankan dengan menggunakan metode FMEA (failure mode effect analysis) untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi penyebab kegagalan pada sistem Ram Air Actuator, analisis kuantitatif dilaksanakan dengan perhitungan reliability menggunakan distribusi weibull sehingga di ketahui batas critical life time part atau komponen Ram Air Actuator. Berdasarkan hasil analisis reliability didapatkan nilai batas waktu operasional, dimana sistem akan mengalami masa kritis ketika mencapai waktu operasional yaitu Mechanical system = 1680 jam dengan nilai reliability 72%, Electrical system = 3401 jam dengan nilai reliability 72%, Pneumatik system = 3201 jam dengan nilai reliability 70%. Setelah mengetahui batas masa kritis komponen (critical life time), maka akan dilakukan perencanaan preventive maintenance terhadap part dan komponen penyebab kegagalan sehingga tidak terjadi lagi kegegalan sistem Ram Air Actuator pesawat boeing 737 NG

    Pengaruh Pemanfaatan Plastik Polyethylene Terephalate Pada Campuran Laston Lapis Pengikat

    Plastic Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) waste can be utilized as an added ingredient in a mixture of fastening concrete asphalt (Laston AC-BC). The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the utilization of PET plastics (Polyethylene Terephthalate) on the layer of concrete asphalt binder (Laston AC-BC) using the Marshall method by referring to the design guidelines and implementation of the heat-paved mixture using plastic waste 2019 and the general specification of Highways 2018.  This research is done with the addition of PET worms on the asphalt mixture using a dry process. PET levels added in the asphalt mixture are 4%, 4.5%, and 5% of the weight of the asphalt.  After the Marshall testing, the results of PET additions to the Laston AC-BC mixture can improve stability. The highest stability value is the addition of PET 5%. The stability value due to PET addition is greater than without the addition of PET. The best PET replenishment rate for asphalt mixture is 5% because, in addition to high stability value, other Marshall parameters such as Flow, VIM, VMA, VFB, and MQ also qualify for the design guidelines and implementation of the hot paved mixture using plastic waste 2019. Value of Optimum asphalt content (KAO) obtained at a 6% asphalt rate with the addition of PET 5%.Limbah plastik Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan tambah pada campuran aspal beton lapis pengikat (Laston AC-BC). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan plastik PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) pada aspal beton lapis pengikat (Laston AC-BC) menggunakan metode Marshall dengan mengacu pada Pedoman Perancangan dan Pelaksanaan Campuran Beraspal Panas Menggunakan Limbah Plastik 2019 dan Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga 2018. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan penambahan cacahan PET pada campuran aspal menggunakan cara kering (dry process). Kadar PET yang ditambahkan dalam campuran aspal yaitu 4%, 4,5%, dan 5% dari berat aspal. Setelah dilakukan pengujian Marshall, hasil dari penambahan PET pada campuran Laston AC-BC dapat meningkatkan stabilitas. Nilai stabilitas tertinggi yaitu pada penambahan PET 5%. Nilai stabilitas akibat penambahan PET lebih besar dibandingkan tanpa penambahan PET. Kadar penambahan PET terbaik untuk campuran aspal yaitu 5% karena selain nilai stabilitas yang tinggi, parameter Marshall yang lain seperti Flow, VIM, VMA, VFB, dan MQ juga memenuhi syarat Pedoman Perancangan dan Pelaksanaan Campuran Beraspal Panas Menggunakan Limbah Plastik 2019. Nilai Kadar Aspal Optimum (KAO) yang diperoleh pada kadar aspal 6% dengan penambahan PET 5%
