    Performance Analysis of Mango Fruit Freezing System Using Solar Energy

    The use of steam compression refrigeration systems is growing both domestically and commercially. The impact of electrical energy consumption in this sector is quite large compared to the need for electrical energy in other electronic equipment. Various efforts were made to be able to reduce the consumption of electrical energy for the cooling system. One of the efforts made by utilizing the natural potential of energy around is solar energy as a source of electrical energy in the mango freezing unit. This fruit is one of the main commodities in West Java, especially in Indramayu Regency. This study aims to determine the performance of the use of solar energy and the need for electrical energy for freezing mango fruit. In the process, freezing is carried out at temperatures below the freezing point of the ingredients/food. Good freezing usually ranges from -12 oC to -24oC. With this temperature, food can last up to 3 to 12 months. Although for freezing mango fruit, it is necessary to have additional treatment so as not to damage the physical structure and quality of the fruit. The method used is to use solar panels as a source of electrical energy in the mango freezing unit. From the tests carried out with variations in the tilt angle of the solar panels, 0°, 20°, and 40° which then from the calculation analysis it is known the comparative value of performance/efficiency and also the consumption of electrical energy generated from each angle of inclinationPenggunaan refrigerasi system kompresi uap semakin berkembang baik skala domestik maupun komersial. Dampaknya konsumsi energy listrik pada sector ini cukup besar dibandingkan kebutuhan energy listrik pada peralatan elektronik lainnya. Berbagai upaya dilakukan agar mampu menekan konsumsi energy listrik untuk system pendingin. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan potensi alam energy yang ada disekitar yaitu energy surya sebagai sumber energy listrik pada unit pembekuan buah mangga. Buah ini merupakan salah satu komoditas utama di Jawa Barat khususnya di Kabupaten Indramayu. Tujuan penelitian ini agar diketahui kinerja dari pemanfaatan energy surya dan kebutuhan energi listrik untuk pembekuan buah Mangga. Dalam prosesnya pembekuan dilakukan pada suhu dibawah titik beku bahan/makanan. Pembekuan yang baik biasanya berkisar antara -12 oC sampai dengan -24oC. Dengan temperature tersebut, makanan dapat awet hingga 3 hingga 12 bulan. Walaupun untuk pembekuan buah mangga perlu adanya perlakuan tambahan agar tidak merusak struktur fisik dan kualitas buahnya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu memanfaatkan panel surya sebagai sumber energy listrik pada unit pembekuan buah mangga. Dari pengujian yang dilakukan dengan variasi sudut kemiringan panel surya, 0°, 20°, dan 40° yang kemudian dari analisa perhitungan diketahui nilai perbandingan performansi / efisiensi dan juga konsumsi energy listrik yang dihasilkan dari masing-masing sudut kemiringan tersebut

    The community service activities “Administration Assistance for the Church Regional Secretaries at Paroki Salib Suci Tropodo” was carried out to answer the expectations of the Surabaya Diocese for uniformity in handling administrative, especially in the use of letter heads, and making letters, and forms. The method of implementing community service activities was carried out in several stages, namely: First, conducting discussions with the Head of the Surabaya Diocese Pastoral Center to synchronize the perceptions and to consult on letter guidelines that will be used by the Church Regional Secretaries. Second, conducting discussions and interviews with the Church Regional Secretaries at Paroki Salib Suci Tropodo. Third, providing briefing on the use of letterheads and form templates for the Church Regional Secretaries at Paroki Salib Suci TropodoPelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan judul Pendampingan Tata Laksana Surat Oleh Sekretaris Lingkungan di Paroki Salib Suci Tropodo dilakukan untuk menjawab harapan Keuskupan Surabaya guna adanya keseragaman dalam penanganan aktivitas administrasi yang dilakukan oleh para sekretaris lingkungan terutama dalam penggunaan kepala surat dan pembuatan surat serta formulir.     Plambing adalah seni, teknologi perpipaan dan peralatan untuk menyediakan air bersih ke tempat yang akan dikehendaki, baik dalam hal kualitas, kuantitas dan kontinuitas untuk mencapai kondisi higienis dan kenyamanan pada tempat yang diinginkan. Metode analisa dengan cara penaksiran jumlah penghuni, penaksiran jumlah pengunjung, penaksiran debit, penaksiran diameter pipa, penaksiran volume air buangan dan penaksiran volume septictank. Pada Gedung Pelayanan BPKB Polres Sumenep berdasarkan luas lantai efektif didapatkan penaksiran jumlah penghuni sebanyak 74 orang dan untuk jumlah pengunjung sebanyak 37 orang. Kebutuhan air bersih untuk penghuni sebesar 7,4 m3/hari, kebutuhan air bersih untuk pengunjung sebesar 3,7 m3/hari. Berdasarkan hasil analisa didapatkan diameter pipa air bersih dengan metode beban unit alat saniter cenderung lebih ekonomis dan efisien dengan diameter pipa 32 mm, tebal 2,9 mm, kapasitas pompa 3,94 m3/jam dengan jenis pipa PP-R, sedangkan pada metode BKI 2016 didapatkan diameter pipa 65 mm, tebal 3,75 mm, kapasitas pompa 24,29 m3/jam dengan jenis pipa galvanis. Hasil perhitungan diameter pipa air kotor untuk kloset, wastafel, kran air, floor drain didapatkan diameter pipa 57 mm dan untuk urinoar menggunakan diameter pipa 57 mm. Volume air buangan total sebesar 9,65 m3/hari, volume lumpur sebesar 1,02 m3/hari dan volume septictank sebesar 10,67 m3/hari

    Pengaruh Penambahan Admixture Terhadap Nilai Slump dan Kuat Tekan Beton Bleeding

    Proyek konstruksi yang terjadi saat proses konstruksi maupun pasca konstruksi seringkali dapat kita jumpai beragam permasalahan, salah satunya adalah kerusakan pada beton segar seperti terjadinya bleeding pada beton segar. Kondisi volume beton cacat dalam 1 tahun di lokasi penelitian sebesar 307 m3 karena kondisi cuaca ekstrim (hujan) dibulan Oktober – Maret, nilai slump dapat berubah karena faktor tidak ditutupnya corong pada truk mixer. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menambahkan beton yang bleeding dengan admixture. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui beton yang bleeding dapat kembali menjadi beton normal setelah ditambahkan admixture, metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan benda uji kubus ukuran 15x15x15 cm yang diuji yaitu pada umur, 3 hari, 7 hari, 14 hari, dan 28 hari. Mutu beton yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu mutu C40 dan C50 dengan komposisi admixture yaitu 0,05%, 0,1%, dan 0,2%. Berdasarkan penelitian ini didapat hasil nilai slump untuk komposisi admixture 0,05% untuk C40 dan C50 adalah 24 dan 21 cm, untuk komposisi admixture 0,1% adalah 18 cm dan untuk komposisi admixture 0,2% adalah 17 dan 18 cm. Kuat tekan beton maksimum di umur 28 hari untuk komposisi admixture 0,1% dengan mutu C40 adalah 45,79 Mpa dan untuk mutu C50 adalah 59,14 Mpa. Waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk sekali perbaikan beton yang bleeding di lokasi pengecoran dengan menggunakan admixture yaitu 10 menit, sehingga dapat mengefisiensi waktu sebesar 205 menit atau setara dengan effisiensi waktu 95,34%. Dengan adanya admixture ini dapat menekan biaya sebesar Rp. 54.750.073 atau setara dengan 83,45% dari total volume bleeding sebesar 307 m3.In construction projects that occur during the construction or post-construction process, we can often encounter various problems, one of which is damage to fresh concrete such as bleeding in fresh concrete. The method used is an experimental method using 15x15x15 cm cube specimens tested at age, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, and 28 days. The quality of the concrete used in this study was C40 and C50 with an admixture composition of 0.05%, 0.1% and 0.2%. Based on this study, the slump values ​​for the 0.05% admixture composition for C40 and C50 were 24 and 21 cm, for the 0.1% admixture composition were 18 cm and for the 0.2% admixture composition were 17 and 18 cm. Maximum concrete compressive strength at 28 days of age for 0.1% admixture composition with C40 quality is 45.79 MPa and for C50 quality is 59.14 MPa. The time required for one repair of bleeding concrete at the casting location using admixture is 10 minutes, so that it can be time efficient by 205 minutes or equivalent to a time efficiency of 95.34%. With this admixture can reduce costs by Rp. 54,750,073 or equivalent to 83.45% of the total volume of bleeding of 307 m3

    As a country that is rich in ethnic, cultural and linguistic diversity, Indonesia has 668 vernacular languages, one of them is Malay. West Kalimantan is one of the regions in Indonesia where majority of the population is Malay. The population used Malay language with a variety of dialects distinctive regional. The Ketapang Malay dialect is used in Ketapang Regency. Vernacular languages which are inherited from the ancestors should be preserved as an effort to maintain their function and position as ethnic identity, personality, as well as a means to show the variety of regional culture. Unfortunately, along with the times and influx of foreign cultural influences to Indonesia as an impact of globalization, many words of Malay Ketapang dialect underwent changes, developments and displacements, moreover leading to extinction. This research developed an Android-based application of Ketapang Malay Dictionary (KBMK) with the implementation of the binary search algorithm. Application was developed using following method, data collecting, application development, application testing, and system evaluation. Blackbox testing shows that the binary search algorithm is able to search the keyword correctly. Furthermore, the KBMK application was tested using a usability evaluation, evaluation obtained an average score of 4.48 indicating that the application is useful and effective in conducting searches, and providing user satisfaction

    Currently, most lockers use keys or passwords for security. This has a high risk of being lost. The key that someone has is easily duplicated by other people, so the security is very low. Therefore, to prevent loss of items, a system is needed to secure the locker with fingerprint and facial recognition. Then the locker can be opened if the user\u27s fingerprint and face match the registered data and there is information sent to the user via an application on the smartphone. Fingerprint testing is carried out by 2 users, the percentage is 95% from 20 tests. Face recognition testing based on distance is carried out with 3 resolutions. The HQVGA resolution is 240 x 176 with a distance of 5-60 cm, the percentage is 57% from the 35x test. The QVGA resolution is 320 x 240 with a distance of 5-70 cm, the percentage is 62.5% from the 40x test. The CIF resolution is 400 x 296 with a distance of 5-70 cm, the percentage is 65% of the 40x test. Time-based face recognition testing is carried out in the morning, afternoon and evening. In the morning the percentage is 60% from 5x tests. Daylight time percentage is 100% from 5x tests. At night the percentage is 80% from 5x tests. For the overall test, it can be concluded that this security system is successfully used and can be applied in everyday life because it can maintain user privacy and can monitor the condition of the locker

    Most of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in West Nusa Tenggara are engaged in the culinary (food) industry, with one such enterprise located in Nyurlembang Village, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency. Generally, the food products produced by MSMEs in Nyurlembang Village lack halal certification, which can lead to consumer hesitancy, especially among Muslims. Therefore, conducting socialization activities related to halal certification for MSMEs in Nyurlembang Village is of paramount importance. The purpose of these socialization activities is to educate and enhance the understanding of MSME operators regarding the significance of halal product certification. The implementation of this socialization employs lecture-style sessions and direct discussions. The socialization activities consist of three stages: preparation, execution, and evaluation. Overall, community service activities through halal certification socialization were successful, as evidenced by the active discussions held between business operators and the resource persons delivering the material. However, a challenge encountered during the implementation of this socialization was the timing, which was not optimalSebagian besar UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah) yang berada di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat merupakan usaha kuliner (makanan), salah satunya di Desa Nyurlembang, Kecamatan Narmada, Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Umumnya produk usaha makanan yang dihasilkan oleh UMKM Desa Nyurlembang belum memiliki sertifikasi halal. Hal tersebut dapat mengakibatkan para konsumen ragu untuk mengkonsumsi produk UMKM khususnya bagi umat muslim. Sehingga kegiatan sosialisasi terkait sertifikasi halal bagi UMKM di Desa Nyurlembang sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Tujuan dari kegiatan sosialisasi ini yaitu untuk mengedukasi dan meningkatkan pemahaman para pelaku UMKM tentang pentingnya sertifikasi produk halal. Pelaksanaan sosialisasi ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi langsung. Terdapat 3 tahapan dalam kegiatan sosialisasi ini, yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat melalui kegiatan sosialisasi sertifikasi halal secara umum berlangsung baik, hal ini dibuktikan dengan diskusi aktif yang dilakukan para pelaku usaha dengan narasumber terkait dengan materi yang disampaikan.     Arsitektur Convolutional Neural Network untuk Model Klasifikasi Citra Batik Yogyakarta

    Batik is an Indonesian culture that has been recognized as a world heritage by UNESCO. Indonesian batik has a variety of different motifs in each region. One area that is famous for its batik motifs is Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta has a variety of batik motifs such as ceplok, kawung, and parang which can be differentiated based on the pattern. Yogyakarta batik motifs need to be preserved so they do not experience extinction, one way is by introducing Yogyakarta batik motifs. The recognition of Yogyakarta batik motifs can utilize technology to classify images of Yogyakarta batik motifs based on patterns using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The Yogyakarta batik motif images used for classification totaled 600 images consisting of 3 different motifs such as ceplok, kawung, and parang. Image classification using CNN depends on the architectural model used. The CNN architecture consists of two stages, namely Convolutional for feature extraction and Neural Network for classification. The CNN architectural models made for the introduction of Yogyakarta batik motifs totaled 7 models which were distinguished at the feature extraction stage. The highest accuracy results in the classification of Yogyakarta batik motif images using CNN were obtained in the 6th model. The 6th model has an accuracy of 87.83%, an average precision of 88.46% and an average recall of 87.66%. The accuracy, precision, and recall values ​​obtained by the 6th model are above 80%, which means that the 6th model can classify Yogyakarta batik motifs quite well
