Traumatic Discourse in Scholastique Mukasonga’s Cockroaches and Illuminée Nganemariya’s Miracle in Kigali
This study examines the traumatic journeys of Scholastique Mukasonga in Cockroaches and Illuminée Nganemariya in Miracle in Kigali. The thematic focus of these literary tests explicates the challenges faced by these authors and how they have affected their sociological and psychological wellbeing. 1994 in Rwanda, a genocide presumed to be one of the deadliest attacks on the human race occurred, its effects spanning every sphere: political, religious, economic and educational sectors since its occurrence. The resulting violence and its lingering traumatic effects have spanned over three decades of literary discussions. Some Rwandans documented their experiences before, during and after the Genocide. This study adopts trauma theory as a theoretical framework for the interpretive analysis of the prose narratives. These literary narrations exposed the extent of the violence and its lasting traumatic effects on the people. This study foregrounds that literary works are used as post-conflict peace-building materials; they are information materials to the public and a means of offloading burdens to the writers
A Modernist Bildungsroman: Nonhuman Narrative and Multispecies Community in Virginia Woolf’s Flush
In 1933, Virginia Woolf published Flush: A Biography, an experimental novel in animal narrative that records the life story of Elizabeth Browning’s pet dog. It receives scant scholarship, and critics treat it as serious work only to the extent that it is not concerned about dogs. It is the progress in animal studies that inspires more scholars to re-evaluate Flush as a biography of a dog. In this respect, this paper explores Woolf’s response to the form that Flush adopts, Bildungsroman, by the use of Gregory Castle’s theory of modernist Bildungsroman. Through a close reading of Flush, this paper attempts to investigate the author’s modernist canine presentation that parts with the tradition of Bildung. The present paper starts with an introduction to the relationship between modernism and the genre of Bildungsroman. Then, this paper continues to examine the author’s experiments in narrative and socialization that differentiate Flush from the tradition of canine Bildung. The nonhuman subjectivity demonstrated in the narrative of the cocker spaniel critiques the anthropocentrism that shapes the characters in animal biography. Additionally, the rejection of the hierarchy of breed and the dog’s embracing his identity as a mongrel embody Woolf’s pursuit of freedom in the autonomous Bildung plot
The Poetic Female Persona in Nizar Qabbani\u27s Work versus Contemporary Female Poets

It then delves into the characteristics of Qabbani\u27s poetic female persona and culminates in a comparison between the two
Women\u27s Empowerment through Higher Education and Employment in Bangladesh
This report investigates the role of higher education and employment in empowering women in Bangladesh. Through a comprehensive analysis of existing literature and survey results, the report identifies key challenges and opportunities for women\u27s advancement. By taking a survey of 200 working women from Bangladesh, this report offers quantitative research on the topic to identify the current condition of women\u27s empowerment and future requirements to develop them further. The findings suggest that while significant progress has been made in increasing women\u27s access to education, there remains a gap in employment opportunities and participation. The report proposes a series of policy recommendations aimed at addressing these challenges, including increased government funding for women\u27s education, promotion of gender-inclusive policies in the workplace, investment in sectors traditionally dominated by women, and public awareness campaigns about the importance of women\u27s empowerment. By implementing these recommendations, Bangladesh can take significant strides towards achieving gender equality and unlocking the full potential of its female population
Help, The Women are Naked: Bodies, Power & Resistance in ‘Post-colonial’ Uganda
This paper engages with acts of naked protest in Uganda to explore their effect and affect as a decolonial praxis for both gender and human rights. In this paper, the successes of such rights activism by Ugandan women are made clear. With regard to womanhood, this paper discusses how naked protest questions Western epistemologies of gender in colonized Uganda – troubling an exclusionary and racialized sex/gender dimorphism through its anachronistic performance that relies on bringing a specific pre-colonial power imbued in Ugandan womanhood into a ‘post-colonial’ present. With human rights, this paper proposes that both human rights and gender are inextricably linked and must be read in tandem to truly actualize the significance of naked protest. Where claims to womanhood are made, inevitably, claims to a denied humanness are too. Decolonizing the human in human rights requires reconceptualization that consequentially returns us to Wynter’s question: what does it mean to be human? This paper attempts to offer some preliminary answers by necessarily reading this decolonial movement with an epistemic disobedience and by emphasizing the importance/power of the category ‘human’ in ‘post-colonial’ Uganda. Notably so, the ‘limitation’ of naked protest is also explored, particularly its participation within a colonial framework for the way in which naked protest fails to move beyond established gender boundaries. That said this paper questions whether this circumstance marks an inadequacy or, given that naked protest infuses agentic and political meanings to what it means to be a Black Ugandan woman, a necessary utility. Altogether, this paper is interested in reading the performance of naked protest through a lens that goes beyond the corporeal, or more precisely, that reads this corporeal performance in a metaphysical or macro-societal arena paying particular attention to the ways that it utilities pre-colonial cultural meanings as a source of power to demand rights and lay claim to the categories woman and human

Quantitative research allows for objectivity, fast data collection and analysis of the data in statistical form that can provide a thorough overview of the study (Health Research Funding, 2018). Aside from the descriptive quantitative design, correlation will also be used to further understand how variables affect each other which are; Psychology of music aesthetics as the independent variable while contemporary music composition. Hence, according to I-Chant A. Chiang, Rajiv S. Jhangiani, and Paul C. Price, (2013), correlation research is a non-experimental research design in which two variables are measured and assessed on the aspect of their statistical relationship in strength and range. The study will focus on Academy of Chinese Traditional Opera, and Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing, China as the two study sites. The third year level students enrolled in music program are the respondents that have prior knowledge on Psychology of music aesthetics, and applies contemporary music composition as part of program requirements. The Impact of Gamification on Developing Foreign Language within Elementary Students’ Speaking Skills: An Experimental Study
This study adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data from pre- and post-tests with qualitative data from observation to assess the impact of gamification on elementary school students\u27 acquisition of foreign language skills as well as their motivation and engagement in EFL classroom. Thirty-two female students from Al-Shabeen Elementary School, currently in fifth grade and aged between ten and twelve years old, participated in the study. They share similar educational and cultural backgrounds. Sixteen students formed the experimental group (EG), engaging in educational games as part of their learning process, while the remaining sixteen students comprised the control group (CG), receiving traditional classroom instruction without gamification. Conducted in Rijal-Alma\u27a, Saudi Arabia, the study revealed significant differences between the experimental and control groups, particularly in areas such as pronunciation, intonation, fluency, accuracy, and vocabulary, indicating the efficacy of gamification in language learning. Furthermore, integrating gamification into language education is suggested to enhance student motivation, proficiency, and retention of language content, thereby informing future pedagogical practices and policies
Asserting the Case for Saudi-Produced Authentic Health Education Videos to Support Healthcare Transformation
The Saudi Vision 2030 health sector transformation program has education as a key element. Related to this focus is the essential component of providing educational materials to support the allied health roles that are at the nucleus of the change. Previous approaches used education videos of other Arab nations, or dubbed the content of international videos, sometimes with subtitles that do not facilitate health literacy of the Saudi nation. This review focuses on evidence-based justification for producing authentic Saudi-produced videos to achieve cultural responsiveness and engagement. The key benefit to Saudi individuals and communities is cultural alignment for relatedness to the content and health-related messages, so that the message is conveyed, which is illustrated here through the new Model of Care (MoC) healthcare delivery system in the health sector transformation.

Investigating the Learners’ Communicative Skills in ESL Classes
This article focuses on the communicative skills of learners in ESL classes. English conversation plays a crucial role in understanding each other and dealing with different kinds of uncovered problems. This means that not only do the soldiers that I teach need English for communication abroad, but Czech teachers also need English to communicate with them. It is always valuable to have a chat with them and ask questions to make sure our judgement colleagues are native speakers. At my work, I have an opportunity to encounter people from various parts of the world, and I am very interested in the way they use English as their mother tongue. These co-workers have a greater supporting role in our teaching process and were right. Even if they come from America, England, or Australia, and their accents differ, it is just a question of time for teachers and students to adjust to their speech and distinguish differences in pronunciation. Being able to keep a fluent conversation with a native speaker is viewed as the main goal of my students, which underlines the importance of speaking skills from a student´s point of view. Therefore, in my thesis, I decided to concentrate on communicative activities that might be helpful for English teachers and enhance their students´ communicative skills. My thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, I deal with the difference between speaking and conversation and explain its practical use in everyday life. I also aim to highlight the importance of motivation in teaching practice and the techniques and approaches used to enhance students´ desire to speak a foreign language. While dealing with communicative activities, I focused on distinguishing them either as accuracy or fluency activities and provided definitions of these terms. The role of a teacher is also discussed, and useful ideas are suggested to make the speaking lesson as effective as possible. The practical part consists of a set of pre-taught communicative activities described minutely and their evaluation for other teachers who would like to apply them in their speaking lessons
