    Optimalisasi Kurikulum Modifikasi untuk Anak Tunagrahita di Sekolah Luar Biasa

    Children with intellectual disabilities often face challenges in gaining access and absorbing information in conventional learning environments. Therefore, adapting the curriculum becomes an urgent need to meet their unique needs. This research aims to explain in detail the optimization of curriculum modifications in the context of Special Schools (SLB) at SLB C YPSLB Surakarta to improve the learning of mentally retarded children. This research method uses qualitative descriptive research and data collection by conducting observations, interviews and documentation to collect qualitative data. The research results showed that curriculum modifications at SLB C YPSLB Surakarta took the form of changes to the material content and learning process to ensure education was adapted to students' needs and abilities. Efforts to increase curriculum accessibility by improving children's skills and directing them to the agricultural and culinary fields ensure that students with intellectual disabilities have equal opportunities to develop their potential and prepare for an independent and productive future.Anak-anak penyandang disabilitas intelektual seringkali menghadapi tantangan dalam memperoleh akses dan menyerap informasi dalam lingkungan pembelajaran konvensional. Oleh karena itu, mengadaptasi kurikulum menjadi kebutuhan mendesak untuk memenuhi kebutuhan unik mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan secara detail optimalisasi modifikasi kurikulum dalam konteks Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) di SLB C YPSLB Surakarta untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran anak tunagrahita. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan pengumpulan data dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi kurikulum di SLB C YPSLB Surakarta berupa perubahan isi materi dan proses pembelajaran untuk memastikan pendidikan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan kemampuan siswa. Upaya peningkatan aksesibilitas kurikulum dengan meningkatkan keterampilan anak dan mengarahkannya pada bidang pertanian dan kuliner memastikan siswa penyandang disabilitas intelektual mempunyai kesempatan yang sama untuk mengembangkan potensinya dan mempersiapkan masa depan yang mandiri dan produktif

    The Impact of Scientific Research Activities on the Development of Soft Skills Among University Students in Vietnam

    This study focuses on analyzing the impact of scientific research activities on the development of soft skills among university students in Vietnam, with particular emphasis on communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining a quantitative survey of 480 students with in-depth interviews involving 20 students who had participated in scientific research, as well as 50 faculty members and administrative staff from various universities. Quantitative data were processed using SPSS software, while qualitative data were analyzed through content analysis. The findings indicate a clearly positive effect of engaging in scientific research on students’ soft skills development: 78% of students reported significant improvement in communication skills; 72% enhanced their teamwork abilities; 69% demonstrated better problem-solving capacity; and 65% reported more logical and refined critical thinking. Based on these results, the study proposes several strategic directions to strengthen the integration of research activities into higher education curricula. These include expanding opportunities for students to participate in interdisciplinary research projects, developing digital platforms to support student-initiated research, and implementing structured mentoring programs between faculty and students. These initiatives are expected to contribute to the enhancement of human resource quality in the context of global integration

    Culturally Based School Supervision: A Literature Review on Its Impact in Realizing High Performing Schools

    This study explores the role of culture-based educational supervision in improving the quality of learning and teacher professionalism. Supervision is not merely an administrative instrument but also a strategic process that integrates school culture, values, and local wisdom into educational practices. Using a qualitative literature review method, this research analyzes 13 selected articles published within the last five years, focusing on themes such as supervision strategies, school culture dimensions, and their impact on school performance. The findings show that culturally responsive supervision positively influences teacher competence, motivation, and professionalism by aligning monitoring practices with the norms and values embraced in schools. Supervision conducted collaboratively and contextually fosters a conducive school climate, encourages professional dialogue, and enhances teacher engagement in developing relevant learning materials. Moreover, culture-based supervision strengthens school culture, promotes inclusivity, and supports the creation of safe and meaningful learning environments. It also contributes to literacy improvement, multicultural understanding, and character development. However, challenges remain, including the limited cultural sensitivity of some principals, inadequate training, and the lack of clear operational guidelines. Overall, culture-based supervision proves to be a strategic necessity for realizing high-performing schools that are academically strong, socially cohesive, and adaptive to contemporary educational challenges

    Kebutuhan akan media yang lebih menarik yang mendorong siswa untuk berpartisipasi secara aktif dan antusias dalam proses pembelajaran merupakan dasar dari penelitian ini. Tujuannya adalah agar siswa dapat memahami konten dengan lebih mudah dan menghindari ketidaktertarikan saat belajar. Masalah lebih lanjut dengan proses pembelajaran adalah banyak siswa kurang memahami tujuan pembelajaran yang ingin mereka capai. Guru mengakui bahwa mereka memerlukan media yang membantu dalam proses pembelajaran dan mendukung pencapaian kurikulum 2013. Dalam upaya untuk mengurangi masalah ini, materi pembelajaran nilai-nilai Pancasila dibuat menggunakan teknologi smart box pada saat penelitian ini dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan identifikasi kualitatif menggunakan model pengembangan R&D yang dimodifikasi dari model ADDIE. Tes, umpan balik instruktur, kuesioner validasi ahli, dan wawancara digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan pembelajaran "Smart Box" yang dibuat menghasilkan hasil yang baik bagi guru dan profesional media, dengan yang terakhir menerima kategori sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hak dan kewajiban mengajar di sekolah dasar berhasil dipenuhi oleh lingkungan pembelajaran "Smart Box"

    Development of Digital Flipbook-Based Learning Media on Norms in Everyday Life in Class IV SD 89 Palembang

    This research aims to develop learning media in the form of digital flipbooks to improve the understanding of grade IV students at SD Negeri 98 Palembang about the application of Pancasila values. The method used in this research is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This digital flipbook media is designed to present material about Pancasila in an interactive and interesting way. The results showed an increase in students' understanding of Pancasila values after using this media, which can be seen from the better test results in the post-test compared to the pre-test. In addition, student engagement during the learning process also increased, and feedback from students and teachers showed that this media has high visual appeal and easy to understand material. Based on the evaluation results, it can be concluded that this digital flipbook-based learning media is effective in improving understanding of Pancasila values for fourth grade elementary school students

    This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of mixed language (code-mixing) in Natural Sciences (IPA) learning on the ability to write academic texts of Bilingual Science Education students in 2024 in Medan State University. This study uses a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The research sample consisted of Bilingual Science Education students who took science courses. The results showed that the majority of respondents (around 54%) were neutral about the influence of the use of code-mixing in science learning on their ability to write academic texts. This indicates that the use of mixed languages does not have a significant impact, either positive or negative, on students' ability to write academic texts in the context of bilingual science learning. The implication of this study is the need for further research to explore other factors that may affect the academic text writing ability of bilingual students, as well as to identify alternative learning strategies that are more effective in improving students' academic text writing skills in the context of bilingual education

    Analisis Kesalahan Penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia Pada Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Geografi

    Writing a good and correct scientific journal is very important in the academic world, especially in the field of geography education. However, in practice, there are still many errors in the use of Indonesian language that are in accordance with applicable rules. This study aims to analyze various errors in the use of Indonesian language found in scientific journals of geography education, both in terms of morphology, syntax, and semantics. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive analysis with a document study approach to a number of scientific journals of geography education published in recent years. The results of the study indicate that the most common errors found include the use of spelling that is not in accordance with the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI), ineffective sentence structures, inaccuracy in word choice, and the use of foreign terms that are not in accordance with the linguistic context. In addition, errors were also found in the use of punctuation and poor inter-paragraph coherence, which affects the readability and clarity of meaning in the scientific journal. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase awareness and understanding of academics, especially in the field of geography education, regarding the importance of using good and correct Indonesian language in scientific publications. Thus, the quality of scientific journals can be improved and can become a more credible source of reference in the academic world

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kegiatan seni gerak dan tari terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini 5–6 tahun di TK Nurul Izzah. Kegiatan seni, khususnya gerak dan tari, diyakini mampu merangsang berbagai aspek fungsi kognitif anak, seperti daya ingat, konsentrasi, berpikir sekuensial, kreativitas, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan penilaian perkembangan kognitif anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak yang aktif terlibat dalam kegiatan seni gerak dan tari mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam fungsi kognitif, sosial, dan emosional. Aktivitas ini juga mendorong perkembangan metakognitif serta keterampilan visual-spasial anak. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya integrasi seni dalam kurikulum pendidikan anak usia dini sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, bermakna, dan holistik. Oleh karena itu, guru dan orang tua diharapkan dapat secara aktif mendukung pelaksanaan kegiatan seni sebagai bagian dari strategi pengembangan kecerdasan anak secara menyeluruh

    Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) menjadi strategi penting dalam membentuk budaya membaca di lingkungan pendidikan dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran kegiatan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah dalam meningkatkan kebiasaan membaca siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 10 Tiga Desa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan membaca 15 menit sebelum pelajaran mampu meningkatkan minat dan kebiasaan membaca siswa. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam kegiatan membaca baik membaca nyaring maupun membaca dalam hati. Kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan kemampuan siswa memahami isi bacaan serta mendorong mereka untuk lebih rutin membaca baik di sekolah maupun di rumah. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kegiatan literasi yang diterapkan secara konsisten dan menyenangkan dapat membentuk kebiasaan membaca yang positif pada siswa sekolah dasar

    Kecerdasan linguistik merupakan kecerdasan yang mencakup dalam aspek bahasa. penelitian ini dilakukan di TK istiqomah di Jl. Tuba 1 No. 7 Tegal Sari Mandala III Kec. Medan Denai yang dilakukan pada hari tangga selasa 20 mei 2025. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam Penelitian ini melalui observasi, mewawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian mixture, yang menggabungkan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pada wawancara dilakukan dengan mewawancarai salah satu guru di TK istiqomah untuk mengetahui, Mengungkapkan Kecerdasan Linguistik AUD Melalui Aktivitas Berbicara dan Membaca dengan menggunakan buku cerita yang disediankan oleh guru untuk melatih kecerdasan linguistik anak. Kecerdasan lingustik merupakan kecerdasan yang penting untuk anak usia dini, namun sekarang banyak anak anak yang memiliki permasalahan dalam kecerdasan lingustiknya. Seperti keterlambatan berbicara, kurang mengenal kosa kata baru, kurangnya keterampilan merangkai kalimat dengan tepat dan tidak bisa berbahasa dengan baik. Anak yang memiliki kecerdasan bahasa atau linguistik yang tinggi akan mampu menggunakan kata-kata yang baik dan benar
