Analisis Terjadinya Luka Diabetik Pada Penderita Diabetes Melitus
Introduction: Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disorder caused by various causes and characteristics of chronic hyperglycemia accompanied by impaired carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism resulting from impaired insulin secretion or insulin action. Purpose: Knowing the influence of diabetic wounds on people with Diabetes Mellitus. Method: Quantitative research with analytical survey design with a cross-sectional study approach. Results: Shows the results of the obesity statistical test p-value: 0.001, diet p-value: 0.000, age p-value: 0.000, physical activity p-value: 0.000. Conclusion: Obesity, diet, age and activity affect the occurrence of diabetic wounds in people with Diabetes Mellitus. Increase public knowledge about diabetes mellitus by providing counselling so the community can avoid the disease.Pendahuluan: Diabetes melitus merupakan gangguan metabolisme yang disebabkan oleh berbagai sebab dan karakteristik adanya hiperglikemia kronik disertai dengan gangguan metabolisme karbohidrat, lemak dan protein akibat dari gangguan sekresi insulin atau kerja insulin. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh terjadinya luka diabetik pada penderita Diabetes Melitus. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Hasil: Menunjukkan hasil uji statistik obesitas nilai p: 0,001, diet nilai p: 0,000, umur nilai p: 0,000, aktvitas fisik nilai p: 0,000. Kesimpulan: Bahwa obesitas, diet, umur dan aktivitas berpengaruh terhadap terjadinya luka diabetik pada penderita Diabetes Melitus. Meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyakit diabetes melitus dengan memberikan penyuluhan agar masyarakat dapat terhindar dari penyakit
Status Gizi Dengan Kejadian Anemia Pada Mahasiswi Institut Komunikasi Dan Bisnis LSPR Jakarta
Female students who are classified as teenagers have a high risk of anaemia, especially iron nutritional anaemia. College students generally have unhealthy eating habits. Based on Riskesdas data, the proportion of anaemia in women (27.2%) is higher than in men (20.3%). The proportion of anaemia in the age group of 15–24 years is 32%. Based on Riskesdas data, the prevalence of anaemia in adolescents is 32%, meaning that 3–4 out of 10 adolescents suffer from anaemia. Nationally, the prevalence of wasting (according to BMI/U) in children aged 5–12 years is 11.2%, consisting of 4.0% being skinny and 7.2% being underweight (Ministry of Health, 2020). LSPR Jakarta Institute of Communication and Business students found many cases suspected of having anaemia. This is evidenced by the symptoms of female students coming to the clinic for health consultations. The design used in this study is quantitative, using the cross-sectional approach method. The sample in this study was 75 female students of the LSPR Institute of Communication and Business in 2022, using a random sampling technique. The analysis used in this study is the Chi-square test. The results showed that the nutritional status of underweight female students was 45 (60%), while the incidence of anaemia was 43 (57.3%). The results of the chi-square test obtained a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, meaning that there was a relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of anaemia among female students at the Communication Institute and LSPR business in 2022. Advice for LSPR. Health workers should be able to provide health promotion related to nutritional status and anaemia to female students so that they can change healthy living behaviours.Mahasiswi yang tergolong sebagai remaja memiliki resiko tinggi terhadap kejadian anemia terutama anemia gizi besi. Mahasiswi pada umumnya memiliki kebiasaan makan tidak sehat.. Mahasiswi Institut Komunikasi dan Bisnis LSPR Jakarta banyak ditemukan kasus-kasus yang diduga mengalami anemia. hal ini dibuktikan oleh gejala-gejala yang muncul ketika mahasiswi datang ke klinik untuk konsultasi kesehatan. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode pendekatan Cross Sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswi Institut Komunikasi dan Bisnis LSPR tahun 2022 yang berjumlah 75 dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Random Sampling. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan uji Chisquare. Diperoleh status gizi mahasiswi underweight 45 (60 %), sedangkan kejadian anemia sebanyak 43 (57,3%), hasil uji chi square didapatkan p-value 0,000 < 0,05. The influence of parenting on the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 1-3 year
Parenting is a method used to help children grow and develop by caring for, educating, and guiding them so that children achieve their independence. Stunting is a chronic malnutrition problem caused by insufficient nutritional intake for a long time due to feeding that is not in accordance with nutritional needs. This study aims to determine the influence of parenting on the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 1-3 years. This type of research is descriptive-analytic, using quantitative methods of cross-sectional design. The total population in this study was 64 people. The sample in this study amounted to 35 people, sampling using purposive sampling. The results of the study showed that most of them had applied parenting styles in caring for toddlers in daily life with sufficient categories of 30 people, 85.7%. Children who experienced stunting 1 as many as 22 people, 62.8% with 2 categories and those who did not experience stunting as many as 13 people 37.2%. Based on the results of the chi-square test, it was found that there was an influence of parenting on the incidence of stunting with a p-value of 0.025. It can be concluded that there is an influence of parenting on the incidence of stunting. Parenting is quite sufficient, becoming one of the challenges for health workers. The Effect of Husband Support and Economic Status Level on Exclusive Breastfeeding
The main problem of low exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia is the influence of socio-cultural factors and lack of knowledge of pregnant women, families, and communities. This study aims to determine the effect of husband support and economic status level on exclusive breastfeeding. This research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach where this design emphasizes the time of data measurement and observation of both variables. The sample of this study amounted to 57 respondents. The results of the study found that H1 received showed the influence of husband support on exclusive breastfeeding, H2 received showed the power of the level of economic status on exclusive breastfeeding, H3 received husband support and the level of financial quality simultaneously or jointly affected the dependent variable, namely exclusive breastfeeding. Blood Glucose Levels on Sleep Quality in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus: A Cross-Sectional Study
Diabetes mellitus patients' blood glucose levels have a significant influence on their sleep quality. When blood glucose levels increase or decrease suddenly, people with diabetes may feel uncomfortable and experience sleep disturbances. This study aims to determine the relationship of blood glucose levels to the quality of sleep of patients with Diabetes Mellitus. Quantitative research with correlational research design cross-sectional study approach. The number of samples used amounted to 40 people with a total sampling technique. The data results from statistical tests were not normally distributed due to the value of 0.001 in blood sugar levels and 0.000 in sleep quality. Bivariate test with parametric test with Spearman's rho because this data is not normally distributed. The results between blood sugar levels and sleep quality have a value of 0.693. It can be concluded that there is no unidirectional relationship between blood sugar levels and sleep quality. It is important to understand how they influence each other in managing diabetes and overall health. The management of diabetes and sleep quality involves a holistic and individualized approach that includes lifestyle changes, dietary adjustments, and appropriate medication measures
Fungsi Pengawasan Kepala Ruangan Terhadap Kinerja Perawat Pelaksana Dalam Penerapan Asuhan Keperawatan
The Head of the Department, also known as a nurse manager, is responsible for monitoring the quality of care, addressing workforce issues, and ensuring effective performance. One of the roles of the Head of the Department is to act as a leader in the Department, controlling and evaluating the implementation of predetermined nursing care, as well as organizing and coordinating all activities in the ward through collaboration with other staff members. This study aims to determine the relationship between the Head of the Department's supervisory function and staff nurses' performance in delivering nursing care. The research design used is descriptive-analytical with a cross-sectional approach, with a sample size of 36 individuals selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done using a questionnaire. This study uses the Chi-Square test with Fisher's exact test correction at a significance level of α=0.05. The research findings indicate a significant relationship between the Head of the Department's supervisory function and staff nurses' performance in delivering nursing care (p=0.000). It can be concluded that there is a correlation between the supervisory function of the Head of the Department and the performance of staff nurses in implementing nursing care. Hospital policymakers should further enhance the leadership skills of the Head of the Department through nursing management training.Kepala Ruangan atau disebut perawat manajer memiliki tanggung jawab untuk memantau kualitas perawatan, menghadapi masalah tenaga kerjanya dan melakukan semua dengan efektif. Peran Kepala Ruangan diantaranya adalah seorang pemimpin di ruangan yang mengendalikan dan menilai pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan yang telah ditentukan, mengatur dan mengkoordinasi seluruh kegiatan pelayanan di ruang rawat melalui kerja sama dengan petugas lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan fungsi pengawasan kepala ruangan dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana dalam melaksanakan asuhan keperawatan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional, dengan jumlah sampel 36 orang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan koreksi Fisher’s exact test pada tingkat kemaknaan α=0,05. Hasil penelitian didapatkan adanya hubungan antara fungsi pengawasan kepala ruang dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana dalam melaksanakan asuhan keperawatan (p=0,000). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya hubungan fungsi pengawasan kepala ruang dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana dalam melaksanakan askep. Lavender And Lemon Aromatherapy Against Anxiety III Trimester Pregnant Women Facing Labor
Management of anxiety can be done pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically, non-pharmacologically, one of which is aromatherapy. This study aims to determine the Comparison of Lavender and Lemon Aromatherapy to the Anxiety of Trimester Pregnant Women Facing Childbirth. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment with the design of a method of two groups, pre and post-test without control. In a sample of 22 respondents, the sampling technique is quota sampling. The research instrument used Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS) sheets—data analysis using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon test, the lavender and lemon aromatherapy group showed a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). The results of the Mann-Whitney test analysis found that lavender aromatherapy was more effective than lemon, with a p-value of 0.672. It can be concluded that there is no significant comparison of lavender and lemon aromatherapy to the anxiety of pregnant women in the third trimester facing childbirth. Factors associated with the incidence of ARI disease in children under five
Acute Respiratory Infections are a major health problem in children under five worldwide and the incidence of Acute Respiratory Infections in children under five can cause significant morbidity and mortality, especially in countries with limited health resources. This study aims to determine the relationship between smoking in the house and ventilation with the occurrence of ARI disease in children under five. The type of research used in research is this type of research analytical survey method with Cross cross-sectional approach. The analysis used in the p chi-square statistical test with a P value value of >0.05 The statistical test obtained smoking variables with a value of p = 0.010 and ventilation P = 0.000. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between the presence of family members who smoke and ventilation in the house with the incidence of ARI disease in children under five. Characteristics and adherence of the elderly to the management of hypertension treatment
Hypertension is the main causative factor of cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death in the world. Low adherence to treatment from people with hypertension is a concern at this time, especially in the elderly group. Non-compliance of patients in treatment management will impact uncontrolled blood pressure. Uncontrolled blood pressure for a long time can cause complications of hypertension. This study aims to identify and analyze the characteristics and compliance of the elderly with the management of hypertension treatment. Descriptive cross-sectional study design, determination of samples with consecutive sampling of 100 respondents included in the inclusion criteria. The study's results related to the level of knowledge of older people with adherence to treatment management (p = 0.083). It can be concluded that treatment is carried out if there are complaints about the sufferer, a rush of activity, and boredom due to long suffering from the disease. Socioeconomic Factors with Nutritional Status of Toddlers
The nutritional status of toddlers is an important indicator of children's health and well-being. Good nutrition at an early age has a long-lasting impact on physical growth, cognitive development, and health throughout life. The nutritional status of toddlers reflects whether children are getting enough nutrients to grow and develop properly or are malnourished, which can result in various health problems. This study aims to determine socioeconomic factors with the nutritional status of toddlers—quantitative research design analytical survey with a cross-sectional study approach, with a Purposive Sample technique. Based on the Chi-Square test shows that the variable income has a p-value of 0.003, Maternal Knowledge p-value of 0.005, Maternal Education p-value of 0.690, and Maternal occupation p-value of 0.510. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between family income and maternal knowledge with the nutritional status of toddlers. There is no relationship between maternal education and work with a healthy group of toddlers. To improve the nutritional quality of toddlers, a comprehensive approach that considers various socioeconomic factors, education, and family welfare is needed. These programs should be designed and implemented based on research findings and the needs of the targeted communities
