    Students\u27 Reflective Thinking Profiles in Problem-Solving Based on Mathematical Resilience

    Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada penelitian yang terus berkembang yang menyoroti kemampuan berpikir reflektif siswa jika ditinjau dari resiliensinya dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan matematis. Kami mengeksplorasi resiliensi matematis dari 36 siswa yang diklasifikasi menjadi tiga kelompok tingkatan, yaitu rendahm sedang dan tinggi. Selanjutnya, masing-masing kelompok dipilih 2 siswa yang diteliti untuk mengetahui profil berpikir reflektifnya dalam memecahkan masalah matematis. Penelitian kami melihat tiga indikator berpikir reflektif, yaitu: elaborating/comparing dan contemplanting. Kami menggunakan soal pemecahan masalah dan pedoman wawancara yang telah tervalidasi oleh ahli dari kalangan pendidik dan praktisi. Sedangkan triangulasi data yang digunakan adalah metode. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi secara empiris tiga "profil" yang berbeda dalam hal berpikir reflektif matematis. Profil-profil tersebut adalah: Siswa yang memiliki resiliensi matematis tinggi mampu memenuhi 3 fase berpikir reflektif yaitu fase reacting, comparing dan contemplatin, Siswa yang memiliki resiliensi matematis sedang hanya mampu memenuhi 2 fase berpikir reflektif yaitu fase reacting dan fase comparing, Siswa yang memiliki resiliensi matematis rendah hanya mampu memenuhi 1 fase berpikir reflektif yaitu fase reacting. This study contributes to the growing body of research that highlights students\u27 reflective thinking abilities in relation to their resilience in solving mathematical problems. We explored the mathematical resilience of 36 students, classified into three level groups: low, medium and high. Furthermore, we selected two students from each group to investigate their reflective thinking profiles in solving mathematical problems. Our research examined three indicators of reflective thinking: elaborating/comparing and contemplating. We employed problem-solving questions and interview guidelines that have been validated by experts, including educators and practitioners. Meanwhile, Triangulation of data was used as the research method. This study empirically identified three distinct "profiles" of mathematical reflective thinking.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kemampuan guru matematika SMP/SMA/SMK di Pontianak dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berdasarkan Kurikulum Merdeka. Tujuan spesifiknya adalah: 1) mendeskripsikan kemampuan guru dalam menjabarkan kriteria perangkat pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka, dan 2) mendeskripsikan kemampuan guru dalam menjabarkan komponen perangkat pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini mencakup beberapa tahap: analisis teori kemampuan guru, eksplorasi karakteristik perangkat pembelajaran, identifikasi masalah, kajian perangkat pembelajaran hasil pengembangan guru, serta pengumpulan data melalui angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran, khususnya dalam menjabarkan tiga komponen dan empat kriteria perangkat pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka, berada pada kategori baik. Namun, kemampuan dalam menjabarkan item setiap komponen dan kriteria perangkat pembelajaran berada pada kategori cukup baik.This study aims to assess the abilities of junior high, senior high, and vocational school mathematics teachers in Pontianak in developing learning tools based on the Merdeka Curriculum. Specifically, it seeks to: 1) describe teachers\u27 abilities in detailing the criteria for Merdeka Curriculum learning tools, and 2) describe teachers\u27 abilities in detailing the components of Merdeka Curriculum learning tools. The study includes several stages: theoretical analysis of teachers\u27 abilities, exploration of learning tool characteristics, problem identification, review of learning tools developed by teachers, and data collection through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The research employs a descriptive method with both qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Results indicate that teachers\u27 abilities in developing learning tools, particularly in detailing three components and four criteria of the Merdeka Curriculum learning tools, are categorized as good.     Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis proses berpikir siswa tunagrahita ringan dalam menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual persegi dan persegi panjang berdasarkan pemecahan masalah IDEAL. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 2 siswa tunagrahita ringan di SLB-C TPA Negeri 1 Branjangan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan wawancara. Instrumen penelitian ini yaitu peneliti, soal tes, dan pedoman wawancara. Proses berpikir kedua subjek cenderung mengalami proses disequilibrium, asimilasi, akomodasi dan equilibrium pada lima tahap IDEAL. Subjek mengalami disequilibrium ketika subjek tidak dapat memahami maksud dari soal karena belum pernah menjumpai masalah kontekstual sebelumnya, mengalami asimilasi ketika subjek menjawab pertanyaan dari peneliti secara spontan, mengalami akomodasi ketika subjek dapat menjawab pertanyaan dengan benar yang awalnya salah, dan mengalami equilibrium ketika subjek mampu memahami serta menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan dengan benar. Hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi bagi dunia Pendidikan khususnya sekolah yang memiliki siswa tunagrahita ringan dalam mendesain pembelajaran yang dapat memfasilitasi pemecahan masalah. Abstract The purpose of this research was to analyze the thought process of mildly retarded students in solving square and rectangular contextual problems based on IDEAL problem solving. This type of research was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects were 2 mildly retarded students at SLB-C TPA Negeri 1 Branjangan. The data collection methods used were tests and interviews. The instruments of this research were researchers, test questions, and interview guidelines. The thinking process of the two subjects tends to experience the process of disequilibrium, assimilation, accommodation and equilibrium at the five stages of IDEAL. The subject experienced disequilibrium when the subject could not understand the meaning of the problem because he had never encountered contextual problems before, experienced assimilation when the subject answered questions from the researcher spontaneously, experienced accommodation when the subject could answer questions correctly which were initially wrong, and experienced equilibrium when the subject was able to understand and answer the questions. The results of this study have implications for the world of education, especially schools with mildly retarded students in designing learning that can facilitate problem solving

    Development of Digital Interactive Modules Based on Al Islam and Muhammadiyah in Basic Mathematics Courses

    Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul digital interaktif yang menggabungkan konsep Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan dalam mata kuliah Matematika Dasar, guna meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika serta menanamkan nilai-nilai moral dan karakter kepada mahasiswa. Penelitian dilakukan pada Mahasiswa PGSD semester 2 FKIP UNAMIN pada mata kuliah matematika dasar. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analisa, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui soal pretest-posttest, observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner yang melibatkan mahasiswa dan dosen pengampu mata kuliah Matematika Dasar. Validasi modul dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul digital interaktif yang dikembangkan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap konsep-konsep dasar matematika. Penilaian oleh dosen dan mahasiswa menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi, dengan integrasi nilai-nilai Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan yang baik. Modul ini memberikan solusi inovatif dalam pembelajaran matematika yang relevan dengan kebutuhan pendidikan modern dan tuntutan moral. Pengembangan lebih lanjut dan implementasi secara luas dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan matematika di lingkungan perguruan tinggi Muhammadiyah. Abstract This research aims to develop an interactive digital module that combines the concepts of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah in Basic Mathematics courses, to increase understanding of mathematical concepts and instill moral values ​​and character in students. The research was conducted on 2nd semester PGSD students of FKIP UNAMIN in the basic mathematics course. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. Data collection was carried out through pretest-posttest questions, observations, interviews and questionnaires involving students and lecturers teaching Basic Mathematics courses. Module validation is carried out by material experts, media experts and language experts. The research results show that the interactive digital module developed is effective in increasing students\u27 understanding of basic mathematical concepts. Assessments by lecturers and students show a high level of satisfaction, with good integration of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah values. This module provides innovative solutions in mathematics learning that are relevant to modern educational needs and moral demands. Further development and widespread implementation can improve the quality of mathematics education in Muhammadiyah higher education institutions

    The Correlation of Junior High School Students’ Self-Confidence and Mathematical Problem-Solving Ability

    Abstrak Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis merupakan salah satu kompetensi penting yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa, dan kepercayaan diri diyakini memiliki kontribusi signifikan terhadap pencapaiannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepercayaan diri (self-confidence) dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah 87 siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 12 Jember pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket kepercayaan diri dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif, nilai rata-rata kepercayaan diri siswa adalah 96,08 dengan kategori dominan berada pada tingkat sedang (74,71%). Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kepercayaan diri dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah semakin tinggi tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa, maka semakin baik kemampuan mereka dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal matematika secara problematis. Implikasi dari temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya strategi pembelajaran yang tidak hanya fokus pada aspek kognitif, tetapi juga afektif siswa, seperti penguatan rasa percaya diri guna mendukung keberhasilan akademik, khususnya dalam pembelajaran matematika. Abstract Mathematical problem-solving ability is one of the essential competencies students must possess, and self-confidence is believed to significantly contribute to its achievement. This study aims to determine the correlation between self-confidence and junior high school students’ mathematical problem-solving ability. The research employed a quantitative method with a correlational design. The subjects were 87 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 12 Jember during the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Data were collected through a self-confidence questionnaire and a mathematical problem-solving test. Based on descriptive analysis, the average self-confidence score was 96.08, with the majority (74.71%) falling into the average category. The results of the correlation analysis showed a positive relationship between self-confidence and mathematical problem-solving ability. The conclusion of this study indicates that the higher the level of students’ self-confidence, the better their ability to solve mathematical problems. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of learning strategies that focus not only on cognitive aspects but also on students’ affective domains, such as enhancing self-confidence to support academic success, particularly in mathematics learning

    Media pembelajaran flipbook interaktif berbasis TPACK dan falsafah KH. Ahmad Dahlan merupakan buku digital yang memanfaatkan teknologi dengan mengintegrasikan berbagai modalitas pembelajaran seperti teks, gambar, audio, video/YouTube, dan tautan internet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penggunaan flipbook interaktif yang berorientasi pada TPACK dan falsafah KH. Ahmad Dahlan dalam meningkatkan proses serta hasil belajar, terutama yang terkait dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam matematika dan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam filsafah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan dengan menerapkan model ASSURE yang mencakup analisis peserta didik, penetapan tujuan, pemilihan media dan materi, penggunaan materi, partisipasi aktif peserta didik, serta evaluasi dan revisi. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar observasi proses pembelajaran dan tes hasil belajar yang berfokus pada keterampilan berpikir kritis, dengan subjek penelitian terdiri dari 15 mahasiswa semester VI program studi matematika. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif dan menggunakan metode N-Gain. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan flipbook yang dikembangkan ini secara signifikan meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar serta nilai-nilai yang dianalisis. Dengan demikian, flipbook interaktif berbasis TPACK dan falsafah KH. Ahmad Dahlan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.The interactive flipbook learning media based on TPACK and the philosophy of KH. Ahmad Dahlan is a digital book that leverages technology by integrating various learning modalities such as text, images, audio, video/YouTube, and internet links. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of using an interactive flipbook oriented towards TPACK and the philosophy of KH. Ahmad Dahlan in enhancing the learning process and outcomes, particularly in relation to critical mathematical thinking skills and the values embedded in philosophy. The study employs a development research method using the ASSURE model, which includes analyzing learners, setting goals, selecting media and materials, utilizing materials, active learner participation, and evaluation and revision. The instruments used include observation sheets for the learning process and a critical thinking skills test, with the research subjects consisting of 15 sixth-semester mathematics students. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and using the N-Gain method. The results show that the use of the developed flipbook significantly improves the learning process and outcomes, as well as the values analyzed. Therefore, the interactive flipbook is based on TPACK and the philosophy of KH. Ahmad Dahlan is proven to be effective in enhancing students\u27 critical thinking skills and is suitable for use in learning

    Comprehensive Numeracy Evaluation Model of Junior High Schools in Indonesia

    Kemampuan numerasi telah menjadi masalah signifikan terutama di sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini bertujuan menciptakan model evaluasi komprehensif untuk menilai kemampuan numerasi di sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua pendekatan utama. Pendekatan pertama adalah penelitian dan pengembangan, meliputi tahap investigasi awal, tahap desain, dan tahap uji coba. Pendekatan kedua berfokus pada evaluasi kemampuan numerasi di sekolah menengah pertama di Indonesia, khususnya di Provinsi Riau. Hasil uji keterbacaan menunjukkan bahwa instrumen evaluasi, panduan, dan prosedur layak digunakan. Para ahli menganggap model ini sangat efektif dalam menilai kemampuan numerasi di Indonesia. Hasil uji coba skala kecil menunjukkan 26 item yang dikembangkan valid dan reliabel. Hasil uji coba skala besar mengonfirmasi bahwa instrumen memiliki validitas dan reliabilitas konstruk yang dapat diterima. Model evaluasi yang telah divalidasi oleh para ahli dan praktisi melalui uji coba skala kecil dan besar berpotensi meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa sekolah menengah pertama di Indonesia, khususnya di Provinsi Riau.Numeracy ability has become a significant problem, especially in junior high schools. This research aims to create a comprehensive evaluation model to assess numeracy skills in junior high schools. This research uses two main approaches. The first approach is research and development, including the initial investigation stage, design stage and testing stage. The second approach focuses on evaluating numeracy skills in junior high schools in Indonesia, especially in Riau Province. The readability test results show that the evaluation instruments, guidelines and procedures are suitable for use. Experts consider this model to be very effective in assessing numeracy skills in Indonesia. The results of the small-scale trial showed that the 26 items developed were valid and reliable. The results of the large-scale pilot test confirmed that the instrument had acceptable construct validity and reliability. The evaluation model that has been validated by experts and practitioners through small-scale and large-scale trials has the potential to improve the numeracy skills of junior high school students in Indonesia, especially in Riau Province

    Feasibility of Opportunity Material Module with Joymath Cognitive Behavioral Method to Reduce Mathematics Anxiety and Increase Student Self-Efficacy

    Siswa memerlukan media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa mengurangi kecemasan matematika dan meningkatkan efikasi diri. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengembangkan modul untuk mengurangi kecemasan matematika dan meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa pada materi peluang. Penelitian Research and Development ini menggunakan model ADDIE dengan lima tahap pengembangan yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Sumber data dan subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah ahli materi, ahli media, guru, dan 1328 siswa dari 24 SMP di Kota Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dan angket. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan yaitu modul materi peluang untuk mengurangi kecemasan matematis dan meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Pengambilan keputusan kelayakan produk didasarkan pada hasil analisis penilaian dari validator, ahli materi, dan ahli media yang menunjukkan bahwa modul sangat valid dan berpeluang menurunkan kecemasan matematis dan meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa.Students need learning media that can help students reduce mathematics anxiety and increase self-efficacy. The aim of the research is to develop a module to reduce mathematics anxiety and increase students\u27 self-efficacy in opportunity material. This Research and Development research uses the ADDIE model with five development stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data sources and subjects in this research were material experts, media experts, teachers, and 1328 students from 24 junior high schools in Yogyakarta City. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and questionnaires. The results show that the product developed, namely the opportunity material module to reduce mathematical anxiety and increase students\u27 self-efficacy, is suitable for use in mathematics learning. Decision making on product feasibility is based on the results of assessment analysis from validators, material experts and media experts which show that the module is very valid and has the opportunity to reduce mathematical anxiety and increase student self-efficacy

    PENGARUH MOTIVASI BELAJAR TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIKA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS III SDN SETIA ASIH 01

    This study aims to identify whether there is an influence of learning motivation on critical thinking skills in mathematics. The study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population includes all third-grade students at SDN Setia Asih 01, with a sample of 25 students selected through purposive sampling. The results show that based on the partial t-test, the significance value α 0.00 is less than 0.05, with a t-value of 4.107, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.069. Therefore, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted, indicating that learning motivation affects critical thinking skills in mathematics. The coefficient of determination shows an R Square value of 0.423, meaning that learning motivation influences 42.3% of the critical thinking skills in mathematics. In conclusion, learning motivation impacts the critical thinking skills in mathematics of third-grade students at SDN Setia Asih 01
