Pengaruh kemampuan literasi numerasi dan dukungan orang tua terhadap hasil belajar matematika soal cerita di sekolah dasar
Problems in learning in low grades, especially grade III SD, are related to low student concentration, student difficulties in writing, reading, and difficulty counting, This does often occur and is caused by several things, one of which is differences in the character of students with one another. This study aimed to analyze the effect of numeracy literacy skills and parental support on the learning outcomes of mathematics story problems of Class III SDN 01 Simpang Selatan Elementary School. This study uses quantitative research with survey research methods. The population in this study were all third-grade students at SDN 01 Simpang Selatan, totaling 49 students. Based on the population data that has been known, the sample of this study is grade III students at SDN 01 Simpang Selatan, with as many as 49 students. The sampling technique in this study used total sampling. Data collection techniques are documentation, questionnaires, and data collection instruments. The scale used is the Likert scale. Data analysis technique with the help of the SPSS for Windows computer program. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of numeracy literacy skills on the learning outcomes of mathematics story problems in grade III SD. There is a relationship between parental support and the learning outcomes of mathematics story problems in class III Simpang Selatan Elementary School. So there is an influence of numeracy literacy skills and parental support on the learning outcomes of mathematics story problems in elementary schools.
Masalah dalam pembelajaran di kelas rendah khususnya kelas III SD berkaitan dengan konsentrasi siswa yang rendah, kesulitan siswa dalam menulis, membaca, dan kesulitan berhitung, hal ini memang sering terjadi dan disebabkan oleh beberapa hal, salah satunya karena perbedaan karakter siswa satu dengan yang lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kemampuan numerasi literasi dan dukungan orang tua terhadap hasil belajar matematika masalah bercerita di SDN 01 Simpang Selatan . Penelitian ini, menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SDN 01 Simpang Selatan yang berjumlah 49 siswa. Berdasarkan data kependudukan yang telah diketahui, sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN 01 Simpang Selatan, sebanyak 49 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dokumentasi, angket, dan instrumen pengumpulan data. Skala yang digunakan adalah skala Likert. Teknik analisis data dengan bantuan SPSS untuk program komputer Windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kemampuan literasi numerasi terhadap hasil belajar problematika cerita matematika di kelas III SD. Terdapat hubungan antara dukungan orang tua dengan hasil belajar soal-soal cerita matematika di kelas III SDN 01 Simpang Selatan. Sehingga ada pengaruh kemampuan berhitung, kemampuan literasi, dan dukungan orang tua terhadap hasil belajar problematika cerita matematika di SD
Eksplorasi Etnomatematika pada Motif Batik Pasiran Garut ditinjau dari Aspek Matematis
Mathematics is a branch of science that is very important for human life. There are many ways to make mathematics more contextual, one of which is by using ethnomathematics. This study aims to determine the historical and philosophical aspects, and determine the mathematical aspects of the Garut Pasiran batik. The resource persons for this study were artisans from Pasiran Garut batik. The method in this study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an ethnographic approach. The data collection technique used in this study was using interview guide sheets, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that the Pasiran Garut batik has mathematical aspects, namely flat shapes and geometric transformations. Each Pasiran Garut batik motif, namely the Mayang Kahuripan, Leuit Pare, Dapros Pare, Kangkung and Merak motifs has its own historical and philosophical aspects.
Matematika merupakan salah satu cabang ilmu yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia. Ada banyak cara untuk menjadikan matematika lebih kontekstual, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan etnomatematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aspek historis dan filosofis, dan aspek matematis dari batik Pasiran Garut. Narasumber dari penelitian ini adalah pengrajin batik Pasiran Garut. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan Pendekatan Etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan lembar pedoman wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah batik Pasiran Garut terdapat aspek matematis yaitu bangun datar dan transformasi geometri. Setiap motif batik Pasiran Garut yaitu motif Mayang Kahuripan, Leuit Pare, Dapros Pare, Kangkung dan Merak memiliki aspek historis dan filosofis tersendiri
Students\u27 mathematical abilities in statistics
Basically, every student must master mathematics taught in school because mathematics is a science that is always used in everyday life, but in fact, many students think that mathematics is a difficult subject that makes them feel dizzy in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to analyze students\u27 mathematical communication skills in statistics material. The subjects used were junior high school class IX students who had studied statistics material with a sample of two people. The method used is a descriptive qualitative research method, and the instruments used consist of a test instrument for mathematical communication skills, interviews, and field notes. Based on the results of the research conducted, it shows that most of them have mastered mathematical communication skills and are included in the good criteria with a percentage of 79.85%.
Pada dasarnya setiap siswa harus menguasai matematika yang diajarkan di sekolah karena matematika adalah ilmu yang selalu di pakai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, tapi pada kenyataannya banyak siswa berpendapat bahwa matematika adalah pelajaran yang sulit sehingga membuat mereka merasa pusing dalam mempelajari matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi statistika. Subjek yang digunakan yaitu siswa SMP kelas IX yang sudah mempelajari materi statistika dengan sampel sebanyak dua orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan instrumen yang digunakan teridiri atas instrumen tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis, wawancara dan catatan lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis sebagian besar mereka sudah menguasai kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan termasuk ke dalam kriteria baik dengan persentase sebesar 79.85%
Online mathematics learning during the covid-19 pandemic using the whatsapp application
This study aims to determine how the analysis of mathematics learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is online based using the WhatsApp application. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative. The data collection method used was interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation in seeing how mathematics was learned during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of this study aim to see how mathematics learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is based online using the WhatsApp application.

Peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan asesmen team game tournament
This research aims to determine the increase in mathematics learning motivation of class XII students at SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta through problem-based learning with Team Game Tournament assessments. This research is classroom action research. This research was carried out in 2 cycles using data collection methods in the form of motivational questionnaires. Motivational questionnaires were given to research subjects at the pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II stages. The analysis technique used in this research is the descriptive qualitative data analysis technique. From the research results, information was obtained that at the pre-cycle stage, students\u27 learning motivation in class XII was still not optimal. Then in cycle I, where the teacher had implemented problem-based learning with the Team Game Tournament assessment, information was obtained that students\u27 learning motivation began to increase. In cycle II, it was also found that there was an increase in student learning motivation. Thus, it can be concluded that implementing problem-based learning with team game tournament assessments can increase student motivation in learning mathematics.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar matematika siswa kelas XII di SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan asesmen Team Game Tournament. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa angket motivasi. Angket motivasi diberikan kepada subyek penelitian pada tahap pra siklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa pada tahap pra siklus, motivasi belajar siswa di kelas XII masih belum maksimal. Kemudian pada siklus I, dimana guru telah menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan asesmen Team Game Tournament, diperoleh informasi bahwa motivasi belajar siswa mulai meningkat. Pada siklus II, juga ditemukan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengimplementasian pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan asesmen Team Game Tournament dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam belajar matematika
Factors Influencing Mathematics Learning in Students in the Alor Islands Region
Mathematics is a fundamental skill for all individuals, making it essential for every child to achieve proficiency. Several factors influence mathematics learning achievement, which can be categorized into internal and external factors. This study aims to identify the factors affecting mathematics achievement among junior high school students in the Teluk Mutiara District of Alor. The research employed a multiple linear regression analysis method. Data were collected through questionnaires completed by 7th-grade students from junior high schools in the district. The results indicated that factors such as the mother\u27s educational background, the father\u27s occupation, the amount of time allocated for studying mathematics, and the students\u27 interest in learning mathematics significantly influenced their mathematics achievement.
Matematika sangat penting bagi setiap orang, oleh karena itu setiap anak harus menguasai matematika. Dalam pembelajaran matematika, terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar matematika yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar matematika pada siswa SMP di Kecamatan Teluk Mutiara Alor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan cara mengisi angket yang diisi oleh siswa SMP di Kecamatan Teluk Mutiara. Subjek penelitian adalah anak SMP kelas 7 di Kecamatan Teluk Mutiara Alor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar matematika pada siswa SMP di Kecamatan Teluk Mutiara Alor adalah pendidikan ibu, pekerjaan ayah, waktu belajar matematika, dan minat belajar matematika
Mathematical Critical Thinking Skills Through Case-Based Learning with Scaffolding in Cross-Study Program Classes
Pembelajaran dengan kurikulum merdeka membuat mahasiswa memiliki hak belajar di luar program studinya sehingga pemikiran kritis sangat diperlukan. Guna meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis mahasiswa maka diterapkan Scaffolding pada Case-Based Learning (CBL). Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis mahasiswa di kelas lintas program studi melalui CBL dengan scaffolding merupakan tujuan penelitian ini. Metode penelitian adalah kuasi eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian adalah soal tes uraian kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa tingkat 3 Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika dan Pendidikan Biologi salah satu Universitas di Ciamis. Sampelnya yaitu 31 mahasiswa pendidikan matematika dan 10 mahasiswa pendidikan biologi, dipilih dengan cluster random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji gain ternormalisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelompok mahasiswa secara keseluruhan, internal, dan eksternal pada kelas eksperimen mempunyai kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis lebih baik dari kelas kontrol. Persentase jumlah mahasiswa yang memperoleh n-gain ketegori tinggi juga lebih besar. Scaffolding pada CBL efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa.
Learning with an independent curriculum gives students the right to learn outside their study program so that critical thinking is very necessary. In order to improve students\u27 mathematical critical thinking skills, Scaffolding is applied to Case-Based Learning (CBL). Improving students\u27 mathematical critical thinking skills in cross-study program classes through CBL with scaffolding is the purpose of this study. The research method is quasi-experimental. The research instrument is a descriptive test of mathematical critical thinking skills. The research population was 3rd year students of the Mathematics Education and Biology Education Study Programs at one of the Universities in Ciamis. The sample was 31 mathematics education students and 10 biology education students, selected by cluster random sampling. Data analysis used the normalized gain test. The results showed that the student group as a whole, internally, and externally in the experimental class had better mathematical critical thinking skills than the control class. The percentage of students who obtained a high n-gain category was also greater. Scaffolding in CBL is effective in improving students\u27 critical thinking skills
Study of Javanese Cultural Weton Significance Through Falak Science: An Ethnomathematical Analysis
Ilmu Falak memiliki peran penting dalam berbagai kegiatan keagamaan. Selain itu, ilmu ini juga berkaitan erat dengan beberapa materi matematika, salah satunya dalam proses perhitungan weton budaya Jawa. Bidang ilmu matematika yang mempelajari matematika dengan pendekatan budaya adalah etnomatematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk etnomatematika dalam penentuan weton budaya Jawa dengan menggunakan ilmu falak. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Bantur, Kecamatan Bantur, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik dokumentasi dan wawancara. Proses dokumentasi didasarkan pada artikel ilmiah dan buku-buku, sedangkan wawancara dilakukan dengan narasumber tertentu untuk memperkuat hasil yang diperoleh dari dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Desa Bantur menggunakan ilmu falak dalam menentukan weton seseorang dengan menerapkan konsep operasi bilangan.
Falak has an important role in various religious activities. In addition, science is closely related to several mathematical materials, one of which is calculating Javanese cultural weton. The field of mathematics that studies mathematics with an artistic approach is ethnomathematics. The purpose of this study is to describe the ethnomathematical form used to determine Javanese cultural weton using Falak. The research was conducted in Bantur Village, Bantur District, Malang Regency. This research uses qualitative methods with documentation and interviews. The documentation process is based on scientific articles and books, while interviews are conducted with certain sources to strengthen the results obtained from the documentation. The data validity technique used is source triangulation. The results showed that the people of Bantur Village used falak science to determine a person\u27s weton by applying the concept of number operations
COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE STRATEGY ORIENTED TO MARKETING PERFORMANCE OF PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES
The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the Competitive Advantage Strategy Oriented to Marketing Performance at Garut University. The research method used is a descriptive survey and explanatory survey method with the organizational analysis unit, namely Garut University and the observation unit is Pipinanan University. The data analysis technique in this research uses variant or component-based structural equation modeling, namely partial least squares (PLS) with the smartpls 3.0 program, so all members of the population are designated as respondents. The results of this research show that 1) The external marketing environment has a positive influence on competitive advantage. 2) The external marketing environment has no influence on Marketing Performance, 3) The internal marketing environment has a positive influence on competitive advantage, 4) The internal marketing environment has no influence on marketing performance, 5) Competitive advantage has a positive influence on Marketing Performance
COMMUNICATIVE LANGUAGE TEACHING (CLT) METHOD COMBINED WITH TOTAL PHYSICAL RESPONSE (TPR) METHOD ON UPGRADING COMMUNICATION SKILL ON ENGLISH LABORATORY
In this era where international languages are a bridge to access information in the digital world, every educational institution is looking for ways to get the best methods to improve international language communication skills. This research aims to determine the application of the Communicative Teaching Language (CLT) and Total Physical Response (TPR) methods in improving communication skills in English in practicum classes at the Faculty of Economics, Garut University. The research method uses experimental techniques with research samples of students who received practicum classes in the 2017-2021 period. Data collection techniques use observation, pre-test post-test, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the application of this method is able to provide a pleasant atmosphere in the classroom, can be well received by both students and teachers and improves students\u27 ability to communicate in English and has other advantages in terms of student interest and enthusiasm which is quite good
