    Kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa smp dalam menyelesaikan soal bangun datar ditinjau dari level van hiele

    The research aims to describe the problem-solving ability of junior high school students in solving flat-shape problems in terms of Van Hiele level. The research conducted is descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted on 19 students of class VIIA in one of the public junior high schools in Jember Regency. Data collection was carried out using Van Hiele Level category tests, as many as 25 multiple choice questions, 1 problem-solving ability test description question, and interviews. Students who have been categorized selected each level of one student as a subject that can represent that level. Data analysis techniques used include data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results showed that subjects at level 1 visualization can fulfill the four stages of Polya in solving problems according to their abilities. Subjects at level 2 analysis can fulfill two stages of Polya, namely the stages of understanding the problem and determining the solution strategy according to their abilities. Subjects at level 3 informal deductive in fulfilling three stages of Polya, namely understanding the problem, determining the strategy, and checking back according to their ability. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa SMP dalam menyelesaikan soal bangun datar ditinjau dari Level Van Hiele. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan peneilitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan pada 19 siswa kelas VIIA di salah satu SMP Negeri Kab. Jember. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes kategori Level Van Hiele sebanyak 25 soal pilihan ganda, 1 soal uraian tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan wawancara. Siswa yang telah dikategorikan dipilih masing-masing level satu siswa sebagai subjek yang dapat mewakili pada level tersebut. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni meliputi reduksi data, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekkan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa subjek pada level 1 visualisasi dapat memenuhi keempat tahapan Polya dalam menyelesaikan masalah sesuai dengan kemampuannya. Subjek pada level 2 analisis dapat memenuhi dua tahapan Polya yakni tahapan memahami masalah dan menentukan strategi penyelesaian sesuai dengan kemampuannya. Subjek pada level 3 deduktif informal dalam memenuhi tiga tahapan Polya yakni memahami masalah, menentukan strategi dan memeriksa kembali sesuai dengan kemampuannya

    Representation is a form of student thinking about a problem that is used to find a solution to a problem. The form of student thinking can be in the form of words or verbs, tables, graphs, pictures and mathematical symbols. This study aims to analyze students performance in completing the mathematical representation ability test. The subjects of this study were 3 students of grade VIII in Mulyasari Village, Bayongbong District, Garut Regency with statistical material. In this study, the instruments used were in the form of written test questions and interviews. For written test questions in the form of descriptions with a total of 5 questions. Before being used in the study, the question instrument was first validated by the validator. The validators took 2 mathematics teachers. The data for this study were in the form of test results and interview results. Based on the results of the study, it states that students\u27 mathematical representation abilities in statistics material are classified as moderate. Representasi merupakan bentuk pemikiran siswa terhadap suatu masalah yang digunakan untuk mencari solusi dari sebuah masalah. Bentuk pemikiran siswa dapat berupa kata-kata atau verba, table, grafik, gambardan symbol symbol matematika. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi siswa dalam menyelesaikan tes kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 orang siswa kelas VIII di Desa Mulyasari Kecamatan Bayongbong Kabupaten Garut dengan materi statistika.  Pada penelitian ini instrument yang digunakan yaitu berupa soal tes tertulis dan wawancara. Untuk soal tes tulis berbentuk uraian dengan jumlah 5 soal. Sebelum digunakan dalam penelitian maka instrument soal tersebut divalidasi terlebih dahulu kepada validator. Untuk validatornya mengambil 2 orang guru matematika. Data penelitian ini berupa hasil tes dan hasil wawancara.     This research aims to analyze the dynamics of Baduy culture in facing global developments. The location of this research is Kanekes Village, Leuwidamar District, Lebak Regency, Banten Province. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data validity uses source triangulation and theory triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification or conclusions. The focus of the study in this research is to analyze the reality of the Baduy tribe facing global developments in terms of 1) knowledge systems, 2) living equipment and technology systems, and 3) livelihood systems. The results of this research indicate that elements of Baduy culture in the midst of global development are starting to change. Many Baduy people have violated the customary laws that previously served as their way of life. The changes that have occurred can be seen from changes in living equipment systems and technology that have begun to modernize, changes in knowledge systems, and livelihoods that have also changed. These changes in cultural elements are due to several factors, including the large number of tourists, government policies for national development, and developments in communication technology that are starting to enter the Baduy tribal area

    Developing social skills is an important thing for students to have because it can form awareness of behavior for students, both in terms of interacting with other people, how to communicate, building a group that strengthens each other, trusts each other and to the extent that individuals are able to solve problems. The purpose of conducting this research is (1) to determine the understanding of peer acceptance of students at SMPN 1 Pakenjeng. (2) knowing the social skills of students at SMPN 1 Pakenjeng. (3) find out how effective peer acceptance is in strengthening the social skills of students at SMPN 1 Pakenjeng. The background to this research is the low level of peer acceptance, which has an impact on strengthening students\u27 social skills. This research uses a quantitative approach, collecting data through distributing questionnaires and interviews. The population was all class VII students at SMPN 1 Pakenjeng, then through simple random sampling finally obtained 35 students as respondents. Based on the results of the research, it shows that (1) the understanding of peer acceptance among SMPN 1 Pakenjeng students is classified as sufficient/medium (2) the form of social skills in SMPN 1 Pakenjeng students is Self-related Behavior (behavior related to oneself) (3) the existence of acceptance Peers are quite effective in strengthening social skills in students at SMPN 1 Pakenjeng

    Fairy tales are one of the cultural products originating from Indonesian society. The existence of fairy tales itself today is almost extinct, eroded by the sophistication of communication technology, and many young people today do not even know that in the area where they live, there are stories stored. In fact, if we dig into the contents of the messages in these fairy tales, there are many moral values ​​that can be used as guidance for living life. Moral values ​​are values ​​that regulate the way of life when we are in a social environment. The aim of this research is to analyze the moral values ​​in the folklore entitled "Legend of Curug Orok". This fairy tale comes from Cikandang Village, Cikajang District, Garut Regency. The research method used is descriptive analysis. The results of the researcher\u27s analysis of the moral values ​​contained in the folklore entitled "Legend of Curug Orok" are honesty, responsibility, independence, moral courage and humility.     This research aims to analyze the influence of the implementation of KKG and routine supervision of school principals on improving the quality of elementary schools, especially in Garut Kota District. The method used in this research is a correlational descriptive method. The object of research and also the population in this research are school principals and elementary school teachers in Garut Kota District. Meanwhile, 137 respondents were sampled in this study, drawn equally from school principals and teachers. The data collection techniques used were documentation studies and field studies. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used to answer the hypothesis is statistical analysis using a path analysis model. The results of research on the implementation of the KKG in Garut Kota District are felt by teachers to be not optimal, so efforts need to be made to further improve various activities that are beneficial for the development of teacher professionalism. Routine supervision of school principals shows that in general elementary school principals in Garut Kota District have not fully carried out routine supervision as they should. The quality of the school also shows quite good criteria. The results of research hypothesis testing can be concluded that the implementation of KKG and routine supervision of school principals has a positive influence on improving the quality of elementary schools in Garut City District, Garut Regency, both individually and jointly (simultaneously)

    This study aims to examine the extent to which the Role of Customary Institutions in Applying Customary Law to Immoral Acts and to find out what are the inhibiting factors of Customary Institutions in Applying Customary Law to Immoral Acts. This research method was carried out with a qualitative approach. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The informants involved in the research were the Customary Institution, the Village Secretary, and the Village Consultative Body. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of the research show that the Role of Traditional Institutions as Helping to Resolve Conflicts or Problems, Places of Mediation and Participation. The inhibiting factors for customary institutions in applying customary law to immoral acts are low public awareness of the law, educational factors and association factors. This study suggests that the Tilang Village government together with the Customary Institution reaffirm customary law regarding immoral acts in new village regulations, so that they are not static but dynamic and in the administration of governance if there are differences in norms or national law and customary law, solutions and anticipation are needed fast.

    LEVEL OF COMPETENCY OF GRADUATES OF THE SPECIAL SCIENCE CAMPUS TEACHER EDUCATION INSTITUTE

    The Malaysian Teacher Standard is a standard that outlines the professional competencies that teachers should achieve, and the requirements that should be provided by agencies and tertiary training institutions to help teachers achieve the specified level of competency. This study was carried out to review the competency level of the 2018 Bawan students who had just completed their five (5) years of study at the IPG Ilmu Khas Campus, Kuala Lumpur. The study sample consisted of 85 students who had attended studies in the specialization areas of Special Education (Learning Problems, Vision Problems, Hearing Problems), Music Education, Physical Education and Health. This study uses a quantitative approach using the SGM 2.0 Personal Competency Checklist (SSKD). The Competency Dimensions in the SGM 2.0 Framework are the main reference in this study. The results of the study show that the overall competency level for the SGM 2.0 domain of PISMP students taking June 2018 IPGKIK is at min=3.0 (SP=0.78). This shows that students have succeeded in achieving the SGM 2.0 competency standards in the four SGM 2.0 domains, namely science orientation, science orientation, instructional, community involvement and personal quality. Even though the min for all four domains reached the SGM competency standard of 2.0, it was found that the min for the science orientation domain was 2.95 and the min for the instructional domain was 2.98 compared to the community engagement domain which was min 3.00 and the personal quality domain with min 3.08. The reviewer also suggests that IPGM continues to design and improve the programs it offers taking into account current challenges in order to raise a generation of students who can face and handle new challenges, especially in the era of the 21st century information revolution in order to produce teachers who are competent and have an educational spirit and complies with SGM 2.0 standards
