Efektivitas Media MINTER terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas IV SD pada Materi Transformasi Energi
Pendidikan abad 21 menuntut siswa untuk menguasai keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas media MINTER (Multimedia Interaktif Transformasi Energi) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD pada materi transformasi energi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-experimental design dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes uraian yang disesuaikan dengan indikator berpikir kritis menurut Ennis. Hasil analisis paired sample t-test menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest siswa (p < 0,05). Nilai N-Gain rata-rata sebesar 0,61 dengan kategori peningkatan sedang. Berdasarkan hasil ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media MINTER efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD
Studi Kesiapan Pedagogis dan Kelayakan Penerapan Deep Learning pada Proses Pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kesiapan pedagogis guru, integrasi teknologi, dan dukungan sistemik dalam penerapan deep learning (DL) di sekolah dasar. Masalah utama yang ditemukan adalah keterbatasan pemahaman guru tentang DL, serta kurangnya infrastruktur dan pelatihan yang memadai. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur dan observasi di beberapa sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Garut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan guru dalam hal pedagogis dan teknologi berperan penting dalam keberhasilan penerapan DL, sementara dukungan sistemik berupa pelatihan berkelanjutan dan infrastruktur yang memadai sangat mendukung implementasi yang efektif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa keberhasilan penerapan DL di pendidikan dasar memerlukan sinergi antara kesiapan guru, kurikulum yang mendukung, dan sistem pendidikan yang kuat. Positive Politeness Strategies in Main Character “ Moana II ” Movie Utterances
This study analysis discusses how often positive politeness appears in the main character\u27s dialogue in the film "Moana 2", what are the functions of positive politeness strategies used in the film "Moana 2" and what are the factors that cause positive politeness strategies to be used in the film "Moana 2". The purpose of this study was to determine how often, what the types, factor and functions of politeness strategies used by the main character in the film "Moana 2", to obtain the types of dominant politeness strategies produced by the main character in the film "Moana 2" and to describe the context of politeness strategies used by the main character in the film "Moana 2". The data of this study are the dialogues of the main characters in the film "Moana 2". This study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative design and only focused and limited to the main character. . In this analysis, positive politeness itself was found to have 5 types, namely notice, exaggrate, use in-group identity markers, avoid disagreement and use friendly and respectful language. The findings of this study are 68 positive politeness strategies. The most dominant politeness strategy spoken by the main character in the film "Moana 2" is use friendly and respectful language. Menelisik Fungsi Bahasa di Balik Caption Instagram @Lizzebethmua
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fungsi bahasa yang terdapat dalam caption video pada akun Instagram @lizzebethmua. Fokus kajian diarahkan pada bentuk-bentuk penggunaan bahasa dalam keterangan unggahan video untuk memahami bagaimana bahasa dimanfaatkan dalam membangun komunikasi, ekspresi diri, dan interaksi dengan audiens. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi non-partisipatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik simak dengan catat sebagai teknik lanjutannya. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode padan intralingual dan padan ekstralingual untuk mengidentifikasi serta mengklasifikasikan fungsi bahasa yang muncul. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa caption pada unggahan video di akun @lizzebethmua memuat lima jenis fungsi bahasa, yakni fungsi personal, direktif, imaginatif, fatik, dan referensial. Dari total 50 data caption yang dianalisis, ditemukan bahwa fungsi personal merupakan fungsi yang paling dominan, dengan jumlah 19 data. Fungsi lainnya meliputi direktif (12 data), referensial (13 data), fatik (4 data), dan imaginatif (2 data). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa akun @lizzebethmua cenderung menggunakan bahasa sebagai media untuk mengekspresikan perasaan, pengalaman pribadi, dan membangun kedekatan emosional dengan pengikutnya. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya pemanfaatan fungsi bahasa yang strategis dalam media sosial sebagai sarana membangun citra personal maupun profesional. Penelitian ini juga membuka peluang bagi kajian lebih lanjut terkait analisis wacana digital dan peran bahasa dalam strategi komunikasi di platform media sosial
The implementation of the problem-based learning model to improve learning outcomes in static electricity
Low student learning activity impacts their academic achievement, which tends to be low or results in poor learning outcomes. To address this issue, the researcher examined one instructional model, namely Problem-Based Learning. This study implemented PBL in the context of physics learning to improve students\u27 learning outcomes on the topic of static electricity. The research employed a quantitative method with a Control Group Pretest-Post-test Design. The participants were ninth-grade high school students, where the control class received a lecture-based method, while the experimental class used the Problem-Based Learning model. The average pretest and post-test scores in the experimental class increased from 6.32 to 10.72, reflecting a 70% improvement, with significant changes observed in the learning process. Similarly, students’ learning outcomes in the conventional lecture-based learning model also improved. The average pretest and post-test scores increased from 6.32 to 7.60, showing a 20% improvement. The percentage comparison of the average post-test scores between the experimental and control classes was 41%. The experimental group was categorized as having a moderate improvement, indicating that the Problem-Based Learning model had a moderate effect on learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the control group was categorized as having a low improvement, showing that the lecture method had a low effect on students’ learning outcomes
Exciting science learning in elementary schools with the STREM model: innovative integration for students.
Science learning in elementary schools often faces challenges in student engagement and conventional teaching methods. The STREM model offers an interdisciplinary approach that not only improves science understanding but also integrates Islamic values. Therefore, this study aims to analyse the effectiveness of applying the STREM model in improving students\u27 understanding and engagement in science learning at one private elementary school in the West Java province. This study used the Kemmis and McTaggart CAR model with 2-3 cycles, consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, interviews, learning outcome tests (pre-test and post-test), and student response questionnaires, then analysed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the application of the STREM model improved student learning outcomes, with the average score increasing from 68 to 87, and a decrease in students in the "Needs Guidance" category from 45% to 10%. In addition, students\u27 involvement in exploration increased from 55% to 92%, indicating that project-based learning and experimentation in the STREM model can increase students\u27 interest and understanding of science. Thus, the STREM model proved effective in improving students\u27 understanding of science, strengthening the integration between science and Islamic values, and increasing engagement in scientific exploration. However, teacher adaptation to exploratory methods and project time management are challenges that need to be refined. Therefore, additional training for teachers and flexibility in managing learning time are needed to optimize the implementation of the STREM model
Eksplorasi etnomatematika pada masjid nurul anwar untuk pembelajaran bangun datar dan ruang di mts
Abstract
This study explores ethnomathematics in the architecture of Nurul Anwar Mosque as a medium for teaching geometry to students at MTs. Mambaul Ulum Banjarejo. The mosque\u27s architectural elements represent various mathematical concepts, such as plane figures (rectangles, rhombuses, circles), solid figures (hemispheres, cylinders, cuboids), and geometric transformations (rotation, reflection). This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with ethnomathematics exploration methods. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and geometric measurements. The results indicate that the mosque\u27s geometric elements can be integrated into mathematics education to enhance students\u27 understanding of geometry in a contextual and practical manner. This approach not only makes learning more engaging and relevant but also preserves local cultural values. Integrating ethnomathematics into culturally-based education fosters appreciation for cultural heritage while strengthening students\u27 identity in the context of Islamic education.

Penelitian ini mengkaji eksplorasi etnomatematika pada arsitektur Masjid Nurul Anwar sebagai media pembelajaran geometri untuk siswa MTs. Mambaul Ulum Banjarejo. Masjid ini memiliki elemen arsitektural yang mencerminkan berbagai konsep matematika, seperti bangun datar (persegi panjang, belah ketupat, lingkaran) dan bangun ruang (setengah bola, tabung, balok), serta transformasi geometri (rotasi, refleksi). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode eksplorasi etnomatematika. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan pengukuran geometris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa elemen geometris masjid dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep geometri secara kontekstual dan aplikatif. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya membuat pembelajaran lebih relevan dan menarik, tetapi juga melestarikan nilai budaya lokal. Integrasi etnomatematika dalam pendidikan berbasis budaya mampu menanamkan apresiasi terhadap warisan budaya sekaligus memperkuat identitas siswa dalam konteks pendidikan Islam
Pop-up book on fractions materials: enhancing on problem-solving skills of grade v
Abstract
The aim of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of a pop-up book on the topic of comparing fractions, gauge students\u27 responses to the pop-up book, and analyze the book\u27s effectiveness. We employed the ADDIE model and used an R&D method for this research. Data collection methods included interviews, questionnaires, pre-tests, and post-tests. The results of our study indicate that the feasibility of the pop-up media for comparing fractions, as assessed by material experts, was 82%, media experts 84%, and language experts 80%, thus falling into the category of being suitable for use. The pre-test average score of students was 63.33, while the post-test average score was 69.33. The validation results and student scores demonstrate that the pop-up book has successfully enhanced problem-solving skills in fifth-grade students.
Abstrak
Penelitian yang kami lakukan bertujuan untuk menguji layaknya produk buku pop-up pada materi membandingkan pecahan, mengetahui respon siswa mengenai buku pop - up, dan menganalisis keefektifan buku pop–up. Jenis penelitian yang kami gunakan yaitu model ADDIE dan menggunakan jenis metode R&D. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, angket, pretest, dan posttest. Data penelitian yang sudah kami lakukan dapat dijelaskan bahwasanya kelayakan media pop - up materi membandingkan validasi ahli materi mencapai 85%, ahli media 84%, dan ahli bahasa 80%, sehingga masuk kedalam kategori layak digunakan. Adapun hasil nilai pretest siswa sebanyak 950 dan posttest siswa sebanyak 1040, jika di rata - rata kan nilai hasil pretest siswa 63,33 dan rata - rata nilai posttest siswa 69,33. Hasil validasi dan hasil nilai siswa menunjukan bahwa buku pop-up telah berhasil dalam mengembangkan kemampuan siswa kelas V SD dalam memecahkan masalah
Self-Confidence in Mathematics: Voices of Indonesian Junior High Students
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi self-confidence siswa SMP dalam pembelajaran matematika, sebagai faktor afektif yang memengaruhi partisipasi, motivasi, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Sebagian besar penelitian sebelumnya menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, sehingga belum banyak mengungkap bagaimana self-confidence tercermin dalam perilaku nyata di kelas. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan dari 32 siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMP negeri di Garut melalui angket skala sikap dan wawancara semi-terstruktur. Empat indikator yang dikaji yaitu keyakinan terhadap kemampuan diri, kemandirian, konsep diri positif, dan keberanian mengemukakan pendapat. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa self-confidence siswa tergolong kuat (71%), dengan skor tertinggi pada konsep diri positif (77%) dan terendah pada kemandirian (66%). Namun, wawancara menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih ragu dalam mengungkapkan pendapat dan mengambil keputusan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan lingkungan kelas yang suportif agar siswa dapat mengekspresikan kepercayaan dirinya secara konsisten.
This study examines junior high school students’ self-confidence in mathematics learning, a key affective factor influencing their participation, motivation, and problem-solving abilities. Most previous studies have used quantitative methods, leaving a gap in understanding how self-confidence manifests in real classroom behaviour. Using a descriptive qualitative design, data were collected from 32 eighth-grade students at a public school in Garut, Indonesia, through attitude scale questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. Four indicators were examined: belief in one’s abilities, independence, positive self-concept, and courage to express opinions. Results showed students’ self-confidence was generally strong (71%), with the highest score in positive self-concept (77%) and the lowest in independence (66%). However, interviews revealed that students often hesitated to express their opinions and make decisions. These findings suggest a gap between self-perception and behaviour. The study recommends creating supportive classroom environments to help students consistently demonstrate their confidence
DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL STUDIES LEARNING VIDEOS GEOGRAPHY MATERIALS BASED ON LOCAL WISDOM AS SOURCES AND SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHING MATERIALS
This study aims to develop and analyze the effectiveness of using social studies educational videos on geography material that integrates local wisdom content as a source and teaching material for social studies. The cultural wealth and local wisdom Indonesia possesses must be understood and learned by students. By integrating local content into social studies learning in geography, students\u27 understanding of the local environment and culture can be enriched. This research method uses a research and development (R&D) approach, beginning with the video production process, validation testing by subject matter and media experts, and limited testing with students and teachers at SMPN 1 Rancah, Ciamis Regency, as the research subjects. The research results indicate that the developed educational videos not only increase students\u27 interest in learning but also deepen their understanding of geography-based content rooted in local wisdom. Students responded positively to the use of this video, indicating that integrating local wisdom into geography material in social studies education can enhance the relevance of the material to students\u27 daily lives. Based on the perceptions of IPS teachers at SMPN 1 Rancah, Ciamis Regency, the developed educational video has proven to be an effective medium for delivering material in an engaging, interactive, and user-friendly manner. Thus, the IPS educational video on geography based on local wisdom holds significant potential as an innovative and relevant learning resource in the context of IPS geography education in the current digital era.
