The Effect of Using Flower Writing Strategy on Students’ Writing Skills of First Grade Students in Vocational High School
This study investigated the effectiveness of the Flower Writing Strategy in improving tenth-grade students’ writing skills. Employing a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design, the research was conducted at a vocational high school in Padang. A total of 35 students from Class X Culinary 1 were selected as the sample through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a writing test administered before and after the treatment. The collected data were analyzed using a t-test to examine the research hypothesis. The results revealed that the calculated t-value (3.442) exceeded the critical t-table value at the 0.05 significance level (1.692), indicating a statistically significant difference between students’ pre-test and post-test scores. Consequently, the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) was accepted, while the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected. These findings demonstrate that the Flower Writing Strategy has a significant positive effect on students’ writing skills. The study suggests that this strategy can serve as an effective instructional approach to enhance writing performance in EFL classrooms, particularly at the vocational high school level
Efektivitas Penggunaan E-Modul Pelajaran TIK Terhadap Peningkatan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 15 Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar
Abstrak
Peneliti menemukan bahwa di SMA Negeri 15 Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar (KKT) memiliki masalah dalam pembelajaran yaitu yang pertama, kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa dalam memahami pembelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi TIK, ke dua daya tarik dari media pembelajaran yang digunakan guru masih kurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keefektivitasan penggunaan e-modul pelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) pada peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 15 Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar (KKT). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dan rancangan penelitiannya adalah Pretest-Posttest Non-Equivalent Control Group, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji independent sampel T-test atau uji banding, uji rata-rata (mean) motivasi belajar siswa dan uji N-Gain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 15 KKT yang berjumlah 34 Orang, yang dibagi kedalam kelompok kelas X2 sebagai kelas perlakuan dan kelas X kelas kontrol, siswa dengan masing-masing kelas berjumlah 17 siswa. Hasilnya kelas perlakuan pada diagram batang yaitu untuk indikator perhatian 85.00, indikator relevansi 80.00, indikator keyakinan 90.00, dan indikator kepuasan 95.00 dan juga di perjelas melalui hasil uji independent T-test yaitu 0.001 < 0.05 dan hasil uji nilai rata-rata post-test pada kelas perlakuan (X2) 89.41, kelas kontrol (X1) 67.65. Sedangkan untuk rata-rata N-Gain pada kelas perlakuan (X2) sebesar 72.08 dan kelas kontrol (X1) sebesar 20.43. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran e-modul pelajaran TIK efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar terhadap siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 15 KKT.

Abstract
Researchers found that at SMA Negeri 15 Tanimbar Islands Regency (KKT) has problems in learning, namely first, lack of student motivation to learn in understanding ICT and Information Technology learning, second, the attractiveness of the learning media used by teachers is still lacking. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of e-modules in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) lessons in increasing the learning motivation of students in grade X of SMA Negeri 15 Tanimbar Islands Regency (KKT). The approach used in this study is quantitative descriptive and the research design is Pretest-Posttest Non-Equivalent Control Group, the data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, independent test of T-test sample or comparative test, mean test of student learning motivation and N-Gain test. The population in this study is all students of class X of SMA Negeri 15 KKT which is 34 people, which is divided into class X2 group as a treatment class and class X as a control class, students with a total of 17 students in each class. The results of the treatment class on the bar chart are for the attention indicator 85.00, the relevance indicator 80.00, the confidence indicator 90.00, and the satisfaction indicator 95.00 and also clarified through the results of the independent T-test which are 0.001 < 0.05 and the results of the post-test average score test in the treatment class (X2) 89.41, the control class (X1) 67.65. Meanwhile, the average N-Gain in the treatment class (X2) was 72.08 and the control class (X1) was 20.43. Based on this, it can be concluded that the ICT lesson e-module learning media is effective in increasing learning motivation for students of CLASS X SMA Negeri 15 KKT.

Rancang Bangun Sistem Monitoring dan Pengendalian Alat Penetas Telur Berbasis IoT untuk Optimasi Tingkat Keberhasilan Penetasan
Abstrak
Proses penetasan telur yang optimal sangat bergantung pada kestabilan suhu dan kelembaban di dalam inkubator. Namun, metode konvensional masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam pemantauan dan pengendalian kondisi lingkungan, yang berdampak pada rendahnya tingkat keberhasilan penetasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem monitoring dan pengendalian alat penetas telur berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Sistem ini menggunakan sensor DHT11 untuk mengukur suhu dan kelembaban serta mikrokontroler ESP8266 untuk mengontrol dan mengirim data ke platform berbasis web. Hasil dari pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu menjaga suhu inkubator dalam rentang suhu optimal 37-38°C dan kelembaban pada kisaran 50-60%, yang merupakan kondisi ideal untuk penetasan telur. Implementasi IoT memungkinkan melihat kondisi inkubator secara real-time melalui perangkat seluler, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam pengelolaan penetasan telur. Dibandingkan dengan metode manual, sistem ini meningkatkan tingkat keberhasilan penetasan hingga 90%. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan peternak dapat mengurangi risiko kegagalan penetasan akibat perubahan suhu dan kelembaban yang tidak terkontrol. Selain itu, teknologi ini dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam industri peternakan unggas untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi kerja.

Abstract
The success of egg incubation highly depends on maintaining stable temperature and humidity levels within the incubator. However, conventional methods still have limitations in monitoring and controlling environmental conditions, leading to a lower hatching success rate. To address this issue, this study aims to design and develop an IoT-based monitoring and control system for egg incubators. The system utilizes a DHT11 sensor to measure temperature and humidity, and an ESP8266 microcontroller to control and transmit data to a web-based platform. The test results show that the system can maintain the incubator temperature within the optimal range of 37-38°C and humidity levels between 50-60%, which are ideal conditions for egg incubation. The implementation of IoT enables real-time monitoring of the incubator conditions via mobile devices, significantly improving efficiency and effectiveness in egg hatching management. Compared to manual methods, this system increases the hatching success rate to 90%. With this system, farmers can reduce the risk of incubation failure caused by uncontrolled temperature and humidity fluctuations. Additionally, this technology serves as an innovative solution in the poultry industry to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Identifikasi Kecerdasan Ekologis Siswa pada Materi Ekologi
Identifikasi Kecerdasan Ekologis Siswa Pada Materi Ekologi Di Kelas XI SMAN 15 Garut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui identifikasi kecerdasan ekologis siswa pada materi ekologi di kelas XI SMAN 15 Garut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA di SMA Negeri 15 Garut dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 168 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen angket untuk mengukur kecerdasan ekologis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif berbantuan SPSS veris 25. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kecerdasan ekologis siswa pada materi ekologi di SMAN 15 Garut telah teridentifikasi dengan baik, kondisi tersebut dibuktikan dengan rata-rata presntase kecerdasan ekologis dari 168 siswa sebesar 72,04% kecerdasan ekologisnya berada pada kategori baik, dengan nilai terkecil 55% dan nilai terbesar 95
Using Word Wall Game to Improve Students’ Writing Ability at the Second Grade Students of Junior High School
This study aimed to determine whether the use of the Word Wall game can improve students\u27 writing skills in learning English at 7th State Junior High School in Padang. The population and sample of this research were 33 students of class VIII. The type of research was quantitative. The method used was a pre-experimental method design, with one group. The data collection technique used in this research was tests, including a pre-test and post-test. The results of the data showed that the average student score on the post- test was (82,5), higher than the average score on the pre- test (39,75). From the t-test, the study showed that the t- test value (29,14) is higher than the t-table (1,697) at a significance level of 0.05 with degrees of freedom (df) = 32. This result meant that there was a significant difference. This indicated that the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Hence, it can be concluded that the use of Word Wall significantly improves students\u27 writing skills
Local wisdom as Humanity Education in the Legend of Lake Bagendit: A Sociolinguistic approach
Local wisdom in this modern life has been faded, overshadowed by the rapid pace of globalization and technological advancements. It is important to investigate humanity education embedded in cultural narratives, such as the Legend of Lake Bagendit, to preserve Humanity values and foster a sense of community. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a sociolinguistic approach to analyze the humanity dimensions reflected in the legend. Data were collected through textual analysis of the narrative, supported by interviews with cultural experts and a review of related literature to ensure triangulation. The findings reveal that the legend embodies key humanity values, very identic with “Nyi Endit” or Ms. Stingy so the values found are tolerance, respect and interconnected which are conveyed through symbolic language and social interactions within the story. These values are deeply rooted in Sundanese culture and serve as moral lessons that remain relevant to addressing contemporary social issues. This research emphasizes the significance of integrating local wisdom into modern educational frameworks to promote humanity education and cultural preservation
Navigating Complexity: Authentic Materials and Writing Development in a Pioneer School Program
This study aims to explore the use of authentic materials in teaching writing within the School Mover program. Through a project-based learning approach, the research demonstrates that integrating authentic materials—such as news articles, social media posts, and song lyrics—significantly enhances students’ writing skills in Class VIII B of the 1st state junior high school in Garut, West Java, Indonesia. The use of authentic materials not only makes the learning process more engaging and relevant but also increases students’ motivation and participation. The findings reveal improvements in students’ ability to organize ideas logically, use appropriate vocabulary, and apply correct grammar. Additionally, support from teachers and peer feedback played a crucial role in the successful implementation of authentic materials. Although students initially faced challenges in understanding complex texts, strategies such as text simplification and the use of visual aids helped them overcome these obstacles. This study recommends further use of authentic materials in various educational contexts to improve students’ language skills
Analisis computational thinking pada pembelajaran matematika dengan mengintegrasikan algoritma pemrograman
Abstract
Computational thinking is an approach that combines algorithms and logic to enhance students’ ability to solve mathematical problems systematically and efficiently. This study aims to analyze the impact of computational thinking in mathematics education based on findings from various previous studies. The research employs a literature review method through three stages: planning, implementation, and reporting, to examine the influence of programming algorithms in mathematics learning grounded in computational thinking. The process includes identifying relevant literature based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, as well as analyzing the impact of programming algorithms on students’ abilities and teaching methods. The results from the analysis of ten selected articles are used to address the research questions and are compiled into a final report. Based on the analysis of these ten studies, it can be concluded that the integration of programming algorithms and computational thinking into mathematics instruction significantly enhances students’ analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and understanding of mathematical concepts. This approach not only strengthens cognitive abilities but also prepares students to face the challenges of a complex digital era. Therefore, computational thinking is a vital component in the innovation of contemporary mathematics education.

Computational thinking merupakan pendekatan yang menggabungkan algoritma dan logika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika secara sistematis dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh computational thinking dalam pembelajaran matematika berdasarkan temuan dari berbagai studi sebelumnya. enelitian ini menggunakan metode tinjauan pustaka melalui tiga tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pelaporan untuk menganalisis pengaruh algoritma pemrograman dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis computational thinking. Prosesnya mencakup identifikasi literatur relevan berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, serta analisis terhadap dampak algoritma pemrograman terhadap kemampuan siswa dan metode pengajaran. Hasil dari analisis 10 artikel literatur tersebut digunakan untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian dan disusun dalam laporan akhir. Berdasarkan analisis terhadap sepuluh literatur, dapat disimpulkan bahwa integrasi algoritma pemrograman dan computational thinking dalam pembelajaran matematika secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analitis, pemecahan masalah, dan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya memperkuat keterampilan kognitif, tetapi juga mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan era digital yang kompleks. Oleh karena itu, computational thinking menjadi komponen penting dalam inovasi pendidikan matematika masa kini
The effect of self-efficacy and learning motivation on students’ mathematical problem-solving ability
Abstract
The aims of this study are to find out whether there is a significant effect of self-efficacy on mathematical problem-solving abilities. Knowing whether there is a significant effect of learning motivation on students\u27 mathematical problem solving abilities. Knowing whether there is a significant effect of self efficacy and learning motivation on students\u27 mathematical problem solving abilities. This study uses a quantitative approach and the type of research used is correlational research. The sample used in this study were students of class X IPA MA Tanwiriyyah and the sampling method was using cluster random sampling technique. The data collection techniques are questionnaires and tests. And the data analysis uses linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: there is a significant effect of self efficacy and learning motivation on the mathematical problem solving ability of students in class X IPA MA Tanwiriyyah with an effect of 38.1%.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan efikasi diri terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan efikasi diri dan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasional. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA MA Tanwiriyyah dan metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Dan analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan self-efficacy dan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas X IPA MA Tanwiriyyah dengan pengaruh sebesar 38,1%
Pengembangan media pembelajaran math treasure-hunt untuk mengukur kemampuan koneksi matematis dan sikap belajar peserta didik
Abstract
This study is motivated by the low mathematical connection ability and learning attitudes of students, which are influenced by weak basic mathematical skills due to distance learning during the pandemic. One solution is the use of Game-Based Learning media that is enjoyable and meaningful. This study aims to examine the validity of a scale-based learning design using Math Treasure Hunt, describe students\u27 mathematical connection abilities, and analyze their learning attitudes after participating in learning through this media. The research employs a Research and Development approach with a Formative Evaluation design according to Tessmer. The subjects of the study were seventh-grade junior high school students. The instruments used included interviews, validation sheets, tests, and questionnaires. The results showed that the Math Treasure Hunt learning design was highly valid. Students’ mathematical connection abilities were categorized as high, and their learning attitudes were also in the high category. It can be concluded that learning using Math Treasure Hunt can facilitate students’ mathematical connection abilities and foster positive learning attitudes.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh lemahnya kemampuan koneksi matematis dan sikap belajar peserta didik yang dipengaruhi oleh rendahnya kemampuan dasar matematika akibat pembelajaran jarak jauh selama pandemi. Salah satu solusinya adalah penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis permainan yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas desain pembelajaran skala berbasis Math Treasure Hunt, mendeskripsikan kemampuan koneksi matematis, serta sikap belajar peserta didik setelah mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan media tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development dengan desain Formative Evaluation menurut Tesmer. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMP. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari wawancara, lembar validasi, tes, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain pembelajaran Math Treasure Hunt dinyatakan sangat valid. Kemampuan koneksi matematis peserta didik dikategorikan tinggi, dan sikap belajar peserta didik juga berada dalam kategori tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan Math Treasure Hunt dapat memfasilitasi kemampuan koneksi matematis serta sikap belajar peserta didik yang positif
