    Evaluating Public Service Quality Using the SERVQUAL Model: An Analysis of Key Service Dimensions

    This study assesses the quality of public services at the Benteng Village Office in Nusaniwe District, Ambon City, utilizing the SERVQUAL model across five dimensions: Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. While most indicators for Tangibles, Reliability, and Assurance are being met, there are notable gaps in the comfort of physical facilities and the technological proficiency of staff. The Responsiveness dimension aligns with community expectations; however, there are concerns regarding staff friendliness in the Empathy dimension. Key factors affecting service quality include the professionalism of human resources, IT infrastructure, and community oversight. The study recommends enhancing staff skills, upgrading facilities, and promoting a positive service culture to elevate service quality in Benteng Village

    Educational Connectivity and the Role of Generation Z in the Implementation of the Tourism Law

    This study explores the critical connection between educational institutions and the regional tourism sector, focusing on Generation Z's role in implementing the Tourism Law in Kupang City. It highlights how the Tourism Department at Politeknik Negeri Kupang can prepare Generation Z for sustainable tourism development by aligning curricula with local industry needs and integrating technology and entrepreneurship. Based on Tourism Law No. 9 of 2010, educational institutions are pivotal in conducting research and supporting tourism policies. The study also emphasizes the importance of synergy among education, government, industry, and communities to achieve sustainable tourism growth. Its findings aim to provide a strategic guide for enhancing educational connectivity, effectively implementing tourism policies, and promoting community-based tourism to strengthen the local economy

    The Impact of EU’s Black Campaign on the Export Volume of Indonesian CPO to EU in 2019-2023

    This study examine the consequences of the EU's black campaign on the volume of Indonesia's crude palm oil (CPO) exports to the EU from 2019 to 2023. Using qualitative methods, it analyzes primary data from informants and secondary data from relevant documents. The findings reveal that the Black Campaign and the policies implemented by the EU have significantly contributed to a decline in Indonesia's CPO export volume towards the EU, caused by the damaging portrayal of Environmental issues that are not accurate and the hindrance of export growth caused by protective policies such as RED II. This research contributes to theories in international trade and offers insight for strengthening standardization and certification on of CPO in Indonesia. The implications of this study are critical for understanding the intersection of Environmental concerns and trade policies, for fairer practices in international trade that consider the realities faced by producing countries like Indonesia

    Creativity as a Bridge: How Narcissism Affects Lecturer Performance

    This study examines how narcisim influences job performance through creativity as a mediator. A survey of 96 lecturers in Indonesian universities used established measures for narcisim, creativity, and job performance. Statistical analyses assessed validity, reliability, and a mediation model to understand the impact of narcisim on performance through creativity. Findings: Narcissistic traits lowered creativity, which reduced job performance. However, fostering creativity can mitigate some of these negative effects, highlighting its importance for improving lecturer performance. Practical Implications: To manage the impact of narcissism on lecturer performance, organizations should focus on fostering creativity through training programs, innovation-supportive policies, and selection and evaluation processes that emphasize creativity. Additionally, psychological support for lecturers with high levels of narcissism can help mitigate negative effects and enhance overall performance. Originality: The study provides new insights for developing strategies that can enhance lecturer performance through the management of narcissistic traits and the promotion of creativity

    Digital Transformation of MSMEs: Navigating Opportunities and Challenges in the Industry 4.0 Era

    This study examines the opportunities and challenges encountered by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in adopting digital technologies within the framework of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Digital platforms present numerous benefits, including enhanced operational efficiency, expanded market reach, and increased potential for innovation. Nevertheless, MSMEs face several obstacles, such as inadequate infrastructure, limited digital skills, financial constraints, and concerns related to cybersecurity. To mitigate these challenges, the study recommends continuous digital training, infrastructure development, improved access to financing, and comprehensive cybersecurity awareness programs. These strategic initiatives are intended to support MSMEs in effectively navigating digital transformation, enhancing their competitiveness, and achieving long-term sustainability in the global digital economy

    Factors Influencing Auditor Switching; Insights from Audit Opinion, Audit Delay, and ROA

    This research aims to measure the impact of audit opinion, audit delay, and Return on Assets (ROA) on auditor switching in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. This study is a descriptive quantitative research. The data in this study were obtained from secondary data of annual financial reports of manufacturing companies for the period of 2019-2023. The population in this study consists of 173 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023. The sample in this research consists of companies selected based on certain criteria. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics and logistic regression analysis, using SPSS 25 software. The results of this study show that audit opinion and Return on Assets (ROA) do not partially affect auditor switching, while audit delay has a positive effect on auditor switching

    Analysis of Customer Experience on Revisit Intention

    The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of customer experience, which includes, education, aesthetics, entertainment, and escapism on the intention of tourists to revisit attractions in Lembata Regency. The study involved 100 tourists who had visited local attractions at least twice. A purposive sampling technique was used, focusing on tourists over 20 years of age. Multiple linear regression was applied for data analysis. Results show that customer experiences, including educational, aesthetic, entertainment, and escapism values, have a significant, positive influence on the intention to revisit. The study found that 57.3% of revisit intentions could be explained by these customer experiences

    Analysis of Tourism Development Strategies on Banda Island (Mix Methods Approach)

    This study aims to identify tourist attractions on Banda Island and analyze their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to formulate appropriate development strategies. Employing a qualitative research approach, the findings reveal three main categories of tourism on Banda Island: historical tourism, cultural tourism, and marine tourism. Among these, historical and marine tourism are the most frequently visited, comprising six and seven tourist sites, respectively, making them significant attractions within Maluku Province. The analysis identifies four strengths, five weaknesses, three opportunities, and four threats influencing the development of Banda Island’s tourism sector. Moreover, the government plays a pivotal role in fostering tourism development on the island. Based on the findings, an aggressive, growth-oriented strategy is recommended as the most suitable approach for advancing Banda Island’s tourism industry

    The Pathology of Bureaucracy in the Implementation of Poverty Alleviation Programs

    This study investigates bureaucratic issues within poverty alleviation programs in Batumerah Village, Ambon City, using a qualitative phenomenological approach. The findings reveal that corruption, nepotism, and ineffective policy implementation severely undermine the success of these programs. Additionally, limited awareness and poor governance further exacerbate these problems. To address these challenges, comprehensive bureaucratic reform is essential, emphasizing transparency, accountability, public participation, and improved data management. Developing evidence-based policies and promoting long-term economic empowerment, including job training and financial support, are crucial for enhancing community well-being and ensuring the sustainability of poverty alleviation efforts

    Enhancing Accuracy in Food Security Services: Challenges and Technological Solutions

    This research is significant because the accuracy of public services in the field of food security directly influences food availability and community welfare in Maluku Province. The study aims to examine the precision and effectiveness of public services delivered by the Maluku Provincial Food Security Agency in implementing market operations. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The findings indicate that, despite facing challenges such as limited technological infrastructure and coordination barriers, the agency has demonstrated effectiveness in executing market operations. The study concludes that enhancing the use of technology and strengthening collaboration among stakeholders are crucial steps toward improving the accuracy and reliability of public services in the region's food security sector
