    Optimizing Local Government Strategies for Developing a Creative Economy in Coastal Tourism Areas

    Tourism significantly contributes to Indonesia’s economic growth, with the creative economy enhancing destination competitiveness. This study examines the integration of the creative economy in developing coastal tourism at Tanjung Tatulain, Negeri Hitu Messing, Central Maluku. Using qualitative methods, data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and observations, analyzed via SWOT and stakeholder synergy models. Findings highlight strong tourism potential but identify challenges such as infrastructure gaps, weak promotion, and land issues. Addressing these requires government support, stakeholder collaboration, and community involvement. Strategic improvements in infrastructure, marketing, and sustainability are essential for maximizing tourism’s economic and social benefits

    Impact Analysis of Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine on McDonald’s Operations in Russia

    McDonald’s is a highly popular multinational fast-food company that has operated in Russia for over 30 years. However, following the Russia-Ukraine invasion, its operations became unstable, leading the company to decide to close its outlets and sell its business to local entrepreneurs. This decision was prompted by various factors, including community activism and international sanctions. Moreover, the company incurred significant financial losses due to the closure of its stores, totaling $1.4 billion. This study also investigates how McDonald’s adapted to the risk of brand dilution by rebranding as Vkusno i Tocha to protect its global image. Using a descriptive qualitative method with an analytical framework based on Nash Equilibrium theory and conflict theory. The result of this study; finds that McDonald’s acknowledged the need to withdraw from the Russian market due to the invasion and aimed to mitigate further negative impacts

    Effectiveness of Jakarta Kini Application in Improving Information System for Public Services in 2024

    This study examines the effectiveness of the Jakarta Kini (JAKI) application in improving Jakarta’s public service information system. Using a quantitative approach, data from 100 respondents were analyzed through validity, reliability, and regression tests in SPSS. Effectiveness was measured by five indicators from Campbell’s theory and four indicators from the public service information system framework. Results show that JAKI’s effectiveness significantly enhances public service information quality. The study highlights digital innovation’s role in improving service delivery, transparency, and user engagement, and offers practical recommendations for advancing JAKI and similar smart city applications

    Digital technology has transformed tourism promotion, especially through digital marketing and storytelling. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the use of social media and e-commerce, with storytelling helping build emotional connections and improve destination images. In Indonesia, the Ministry of Tourism uses platforms like TikTok and Instagram for this purpose. Research in West Papua Barat Daya shows that short videos, photos, and blogs effectively raise awareness and attract tourists. Despite challenges like limited infrastructure and skills, digital storytelling remains a powerful and sustainable tool for tourism promotion

    Unemployment and Poverty on Indonesia’s Economic Growth in 2002-2022

    The capacity of a region or country to improve the well-being of its community reflects its economic growth and overall living standards. However, achieving sustainable economic growth requires monitoring macroeconomic factors such as poverty and unemployment, which significantly impact regional stability. This study, based on data from Statistics Indonesia, analyzed the relationship between these variables and economic growth using multiple linear regression. The findings suggest that unemployment does not significantly influence economic growth, indicating that its role in economic performance may be limited in this context. Conversely, poverty emerged as a critical factor with a significant impact on economic growth, highlighting its importance in shaping economic outcomes. Together, these variables underscore the need for focused efforts to maintain macroeconomic stability, particularly by addressing poverty, to achieve high and sustainable economic growth

    Dynamics of Job Satisfaction; Analysis of the Influence of Job Placement and Self-Efficacy

    This study examines the relationship between job satisfaction with job placement and self-efficacy variables in the TVRI Ambon environment. By applying quantitative methodology and associative design, the study aims to evaluate the impact of two predictor variables on a single response variable. From a total of 68 employees who are the population, sampling using the Slovin formula resulted in 40 respondents. Data was gathered through the use of a questionnaire, while data processing utilized multiple regression techniques through the SPSS program. The analysis demonstrated that job placement exerted a substantial impact on job satisfaction, while self efficacy did not emerge as a meaningful predictor of employees' contentment with their roles

The findings reveal that website and mobile applications, telemedicine, and GIS need infrastructure upgrades, improved technological literacy, enhanced data security, and training for medical staff. Social media is utilized to raise public awareness, while Electronic Medical Records (EMR) streamline administrative efficiency and coordination. However, management systems for clinics and hospitals are still inadequate, leading to long wait times and scheduling problems. On a positive note, digital reporting is advancing, allowing for real-time monitoring and analysis at RSUD Masohi

    Transforming Village Development: Strategies for Boosting Community Involvement

    This study examines community participation in village development planning in Nusa Maju Village, Belitang III District, South Sumatra. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research explores the extent of participation across four stages: planning, implementation, evaluation, and utilization. It also identifies key factors influencing engagement, such as socio-economic conditions, government policies, and cultural norms. The findings reveal high levels of participation during the planning and implementation stages, but limited involvement in evaluation and monitoring. The study emphasizes the importance of government transparency, inclusive decision-making, and community empowerment in fostering greater participation. It contributes to the broader understanding of participatory development and offers recommendations for enhancing community engagement in future village development initiatives

    The Influence of School Principal Leadership, Motivation, and Interpersonal Communication on Teacher Performance

    This study explores the influence of principal leadership, work motivation, and interpersonal communication on teacher performance in elementary schools in the Teluk Ambon District, Ambon City. The results reveal that each of these factors significantly impacts teacher performance, with principal leadership emerging as the most influential contributor. Furthermore, the study confirms that the combined effect of these variables plays a vital role in enhancing teacher outcomes. Effective school leadership improves resource management, fosters a supportive work environment, and strengthens teacher professionalism. Work motivation sustains teacher engagement and commitment, while strong interpersonal communication promotes collaboration and reduces conflict. These findings are consistent with previous research and offer practical implications for advancing school leadership practices and enhancing teacher performance through a strategic emphasis on motivation and communication

The findings reveal that BUMDes Berkaho integrates GCG principles through responsive and innovative leadership, fostering transparency, accountability, and responsibility. Its operations are structured around legal frameworks, a clearly defined vision and mission, and organizational bylaws. Financial resources, infrastructure, and technology are managed effectively with government support, ensuring alignment between development programs, community needs, and local economic potential. A well-structured internal governance system further enhances transparency and accountability, underscoring the relevance of institutional theory in strengthening BUMDes as a catalyst for sustainable local economic growth
