The Economic Effects of the Consumer Over-Indebtedness Legislation in Italy: An Agent-Based Model
Consumer over-indebtedness is a growing phenomenon in EU countries. Legislation addressing debt solutions for consumers does not have a long tradition in Italy. In 2012 Italy defined debt settlement procedures to reduce the impact of over-indebtedness. We build a disequilibrium agent-based model (abm), populated by heterogeneous consumers who behave according to boundedly rational behavioral rules. Through abm model, it will be possible to test the effects of this regulatory framework on the credit market, wealth distribution, and savings. In particular, the probability by means the local Tribunal accepts the consumer plan has an important role to balance between the need to provide an appropriate solution for enabling over-indebted individuals to start over with their lives, on one hand, and economic efficiency that debts should be paid
Relationship between the Twin Deficit Hypothesis and the Inflation: Case of Turkey (2010-2019)
Twin deficit hypothesis; It emerges when budget deficits and current account deficits are observed simultaneously. Exchange rate fluctuations have an impact on both cost inflation and consumer inflation through production costs due to Turkey's import substitution mode of production. In this study, the relationship between the twin deficit hypothesis and consumer inflation was analyzed using VAR analysis and Granger causality tests using quarterly data between the periods 2010: Q1 and 2019: Q4. According to the results obtained; while the twin deficit hypothesis was not supported in Turkey in the period discussed, it was observed that the budget deficit and current account deficit increased inflation
The Influence of Determination of Regional Budget with Regional Head Regulations and Capital Expenditure Allocation on Capital Expenditure Realization in the Provincial APBD of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta
This study aimed to determine how much influence the determination of the APBD with Regional Head Regulations and the allocation partially and jointly on the realization of capital expenditures in the APBD in the Province of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta for the 2015 Fiscal Year.
The research method uses a survey with a quantitative approach that is correlational. The sampling technique is Simple Random Sampling; namely, taking sample members from the population is done randomly without showing the existing strata. The number of samples in this study was 89 respondents.
Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that: a) Multiple Regression Analysis obtained a positive value, namely the variable of determining APBD (X1) of 0.457 and variable of allocation of capital expenditure (X2) obtained a value of 0.463. The results of the Multiple Correlation Analysis between the Variables of determining APBD (X1) and Variables of allocation of capital expenditures (X2) of 0.690. Thus, it can be said that the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is strong. b) The results of hypothesis testing both partially and simultaneously, the variables of determining APBD with local government regulation (X1) and allocation of capital expenditures (X2) affect the variable of capital expenditure absorption (Y), so that Ha is confirmed, Ho is rejected. c) From the coefficient of determination test results, the result is 0.476. Thus the independent variable can explain the dependent variable by 47.6% to the dependent variable, while the rest is not examined in this study
Ports as A Supporting Factor of Economic Development in Central Kalimantan Province
This study aims to determine partially and simultaneously the effect of export value seen from several loading ports on economic growth in the province of Central Kalimantan. This method is explanatory research to test the hypothesis between the hypothesized variables. This study uses secondary data, namely: Export Value through the Port of Kumai, Sampit, Pulang Pisau, and Pangkalan Bun, and Economic Growth in Central Kalimantan Province during 2007-2021. The results of the Multiple Linear Regression analysis of the Semi Logarithma Model partially show that the Export Value through the Port of Loading at the Ports of Kumai and Sampit has a significant and positive influence on Economic Growth in Central Kalimantan Province. In contrast, the Export Value through the Port of Loading Pulang Pisau and Pangkalan Bun has no effect but is positive on Economic Growth in Central Kalimantan Province. However, simultaneously the export value through the loading ports at the ports of Kumai, Sampit, Pulang Pisau, and Pangkalan Bun has a significant influence on economic growth in the province of Central Kalimantan
pembelajaran Development of Integrated Learning Systems through BPPT Corporate University Design approach
The development of integrated learning is mainstreaming various integrated educational and training performance programs so that it boosts organizational performance to be part of the optimal corporate university design approach. The development of learning from education and training and the construction of functional positions of engineering and power has been carried out but the approach that refers to the strategic model of the corporate university system so that the interrelationship of all work units gets the overall corporation. Several stages of identification up to the stage of strengthening the participation of work units related to the development of institutional human resources in the unity of performance are strongly related to various inputs that support the evaluation and control system to be more concentrated and integrated to encourage organizational performance to be stronger and prosperous. Improvements in the working order and strengthening of the internal system of integrated learning implementation provide a commitment to the need for strength that can provide institutional human resource strengthening spurring the improvement of effective and efficient organizational performance towards the professionalism of the relevant institutions in it.
The Impact of Entrepreneurship Education on the Construction of Entrepreneurial Self-identity of University Students in Egypt
Due to the rise in the number of entrepreneurship education programs that are believed to have an impact beyond creating entrepreneurial knowledge and the multiple attempts to understand the entrepreneurial identity and how it is constructed, the current research aims at investigating the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial self-identity construction for university level-students, hence utilized two measures, the first one asked students whether they define him or herself in an entrepreneurial role or not (Hoang and Gimeno, 2015) and the second one was concerned about the social identity and measured it using the “Identity-scale” developed by Sieger et al. (2016).A self-administered questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 550 students, whereas 280 received formal entrepreneurship education and 270 did not. Results showed that entrepreneurship education had a direct impact on the construction of entrepreneurial identities of university students. However, the impact was of a very low level not exceeding 3.1%, implying the existence of other non-entrepreneurship education-related factors that might contribute to entrepreneurial identity construction to a higher extent
In Search of Humble Leaders
The significance of moderation and balance across various domains has been sanctioned for millennia and deviations from midpoints of virtues, traits, qualities, and other attributes have been described as dysfunctional suggesting a nonmonotonic, U-shaped curve. Modern scholarship and lay interpretations of the virtue of humility have neglected this perspective and appear to tacitly assume that humility is an unmitigated good that leaders should develop and that more is better. Here we show, however, that what we refer to as authentic humility, is positioned at an intermediate point between negative and positive views of the self and that deviations from this center adversely impact well-being and offer a nonlinear, inverted U-shaped curve. Such an interpretation reconciles views of humility as a weakness or strength and demonstrates its positive impact on self, followers, and organizational well-being. We conclude by suggesting that humility has costs for leaders and therefore not an unmitigated good.
Gender Perceptions of Psychological Empowerment in The Workplace: A Comparative Analysis from Two Cultures
This study investigates how female and male workers perceive feelings of Psychological Empowerment (PE), using respondents from two different countries with dissimilar cultural power dynamics. Two hundred ten non-managerial bank workers from Nigeria and the United States were selected for this study. A comparative quantitative method was used for this study. Statistical analyses were performed using both spreadsheets and SPSS.
My key research question is designed to determine if there are differences in how female and male employees perceive Psychological Empowerment. Data analysis indicates that in both countries combined, and individually, there is a statistically significant difference in the perception of PE between the female and male respondents. Hence, I propose that the first step toward achieving power equity amongst both genders is to first understand how women and men perceive empowerment at a personal level (Psychological Empowerment).

Got Faith?-An in-depth analysis and review of five faith-based prisoner reentry programs in Florida
In the United States, prisoner reentry programs are a necessity to re-integrate back into society and are of two types: Faith and Non-Faith. With increased emphasis placed on reforming the criminal justice system policies due to Black Lives Matter and other non-profits actively working to change the system from the outside, reentry programs are having a resurgence of interest for effective public policy. There are significant barriers for major policies at the state, local, and federal to be alleviated, nevertheless, our research wanted to consider the effectiveness of five faith-based, male-only reentry programs in central Florida. Small focus groups were utilized to better understand the concerns and issues returning inmates faced in the program as well as when returning to society. Reentry participants were found to have high confidence in the success of their participation in their faith-based program’s efforts on their personal and family growth.
