    Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Materi Pengukuran Volume Dengan Menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching And Learning Berbantuan Media Konkret di Kelas IV SD

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh persepsi siswa terhadap matematika sebagai pelajaran yang sulit, terutama pada materi pengukuran volume. Observasi awal di kelas IV SDN 002 Palembang menunjukkan sekitar 60% siswa merasa takut menjawab soal di depan kelas dan kesulitan memahami konsep karena pembelajaran masih bersifat konvensional, yakni hanya menggunakan gambar dari buku tanpa melibatkan aktivitas nyata. Kondisi ini berakibat pada rendahnya hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan mengkaji efektivitas model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berbantuan media konkret terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar, pemahaman konsep, dan keaktifan siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart melalui dua siklus yang mencakup fase perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian melibatkan 37 siswa kelas IV sebagai subjek penelitian. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, tes hasil belajar, serta dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk memperoleh gambaran hasil secara menyeluruh. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar dari 38,24 (pra-siklus) menjadi 61,35 (siklus I), dan 77,97 (siklus II). Ketuntasan belajar klasikal mengalami kenaikan dari 16,22% (pra-siklus) menjadi 45,95% (siklus I) dan 75,68% (siklus II). Partisipasi aktif siswa pun meningkat secara signifikan dari 76% (siklus I) menjadi 89% (siklus II). Dengan demikian, penerapan model CTL berbantuan media konkret terbukti efektif dalam mendorong peningkatan hasil belajar, pemahaman konsep, dan keaktifan siswa. Penelitian yang dilakukan memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam penerapan model pembelajaran matematika yang inovatif dan kontekstual di SD

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya uji model PjBL berbasis ESD terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep “Krisis Iklim” pada peserta didik fase B sekolah dasar untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas dari uji yang diberikan.  Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metodologi penelitian kuantitatif jenis pre-experimental design dengan bentuk one-group pretest-posttest. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 25 peserta didik fase B, khususnya kelas IV dengan penelitian yang berlokasi di SD Negeri 2 Cimareme. Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dengan berbantuan instrumen penelitian yang dibutuhkan, yaitu dengan menggunakan instrument tes dalam bentuk pre-test dan post-test yang didasari atas hasil sebelum dan sesudah dilakukannya treatment atau perlakuan sebanyak 13 butir soal dalam bentuk uraian dan isian serta pedoman wawancara yang berisi daftar pertanyaan terbuka yang disesuaikan dengan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PjBL berbasis ESD efektif untuk diterapkan dengan adanya data peningkatan nilai rata-rata antara skor pre-test dan post-test menggunakan uji normalitas gain (N-gain) sebesar 0,79, dengan kategori efektivitas yang sangat tinggi, hal ini juga tentunya berhubungan dengan hasil pra-penelitian wawancara yang menyatakan bahwa kurangnya penggunaan model pembelajaran yang bervariatif hingga berpengaruh pada pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah uji dari model PjBL berbasis ESD dikatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik dalam materi perubahan iklim. Rekomendasi yang diberikan dalam penelitian ini adalah perlunya pendidik dalam mengimplementasikan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan nilai-nilai berkelanjutan pada sekolah dasar

    This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a teaching strategy based on the Perkins and Blythe model in acquiring biological concepts and developing scientific values among eleventh-grade scientific students. The researcher employed a quasi-experimental methodology with partial control design on a sample of 69 students deliberately selected from eleventh-grade students at Zakho Preparatory School for Boys for the academic year 2024-2025. The sample was randomly distributed into two groups: an experimental group consisting of 33 students who studied using the Perkins and Blythe model-based teaching strategy, and a control group consisting of 36 students who studied according to the traditional method. After ensuring equivalence across several variables, the researcher determined the scientific material for the first unit, which represents the first three chapters of the eleventh-grade biology textbook (Internal Balance and Transport, Photosynthesis, Cellular Respiration). To verify the research objectives, the researcher prepared 24 actual lesson plans for each group, and developed a biological concepts acquisition test consisting of 30 questions in its final form, and adopted the scientific values scale prepared by Al-Mohtaseb (2018) consisting of 45 items distributed across 8 domains with both positive and negative items. After verifying validity and reliability indicators for the test items and scientific values scale, data were analyzed using the t-test for two independent samples. Results showed a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of students in the experimental and control groups on both the biological concepts acquisition test and the scientific values scale in favor of the experimental group. Based on the findings, the researcher made several recommendations and suggestions for future research studies

    This study examines the tradition of prohibiting marriage between Arab-descended women (Syarifah) and indigenous Indonesian men in Kelurahan Kelimutu, Ende City. This tradition is still upheld by some Arab descendant communities as a way to preserve lineage purity, family honor, and tribal values. In their view, a marriage between a Syarifah and a non-Sayyid or non-Arab man is considered a violation of inherited family and religious values.This research uses a qualitative approach with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed by reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions from the information obtained from various sources.The findings show that the prohibition is primarily rooted in cultural understanding and socio-religious interpretations that prioritize kafa'ah (compatibility) in marriage, especially lineage compatibility. However, from the perspective of Islamic marital jurisprudence (fiqh munakahat), such a prohibition lacks strong sharia basis, as Islam emphasizes piety (taqwa) as the main foundation in choosing a spouse, as reflected in Surah Al-Hujurat verse 13 and various sayings of Prophet Muhammad  that reject lineage-based fanaticism. Contemporary scholars such as Dr. Kairudin Nasution, Dr. Ryanta, Dr. Supriatna, and Dr. Jazimah also affirm that marriage should not be hindered solely due to lineage differences, as long as both parties consent and fulfill the legal requirements of marriage

    This study aims to analyze the Islamic legal review of the use of incense in the tradition of praying for spirits carried out by the Kui tribe in Moru Village, Alor Barat Daya District, Alor Regency. This tradition is a cultural heritage of the Kui community which is carried out from generation to generation as a form of respect for ancestral spirits and an expression of gratitude to God. In its implementation, incense is used as part of the prayer process which is believed to be able to bring angels in the middle of the prayer process and convey prayers to God. The results of the study found that the use of incense in the tradition of praying for spirits in Moru Village, Alor Barat Daya District, Alor Regency is seen as a symbol of culture and a tradition passed down from ancestors that is still preserved to this day. It's just that there are slight violations of Islamic law, namely the belief that the smoke from incense directly brings prayers to God, summons deceased spirits through the smoke from incense, and also the smoke from incense is believed to be able to expel jinns.     This study aims to understand community perceptions regarding teenage pregnancy out of wedlock in Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Using a qualitative research approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The participants included community leaders, religious figures, parents, and adolescents who experienced out-of-wedlock pregnancy. The results indicate that the community views teenage pregnancy out of wedlock as behavior that violates religious, social, and cultural norms. This phenomenon is considered a source of shame for families and communities, leading to social stigma. The main factors contributing to this issue include weak parental supervision, negative peer influence, and insufficient sexual education among adolescents. Preventive efforts involve strengthening moral and religious education, enhancing parental control, and improving educational facilities through local government initiatives. This research is expected to serve as a reference for communities and educational institutions to reduce the rate of teenage pregnancies in rural areas

    Test-Anxiety and Coping-Strategies as Predictors of Psychological-Wellbeing of Students with Disabilities in Inclusive Basic Schools in Lagos State, Nigeria

    Inclusive education aims to provide equal access to quality basic education by meeting diverse learners' needs. Tests, integral to academic assessment, can trigger anxiety in students, impacting their psychological-wellbeing. Students (with disabilities) with better coping strategies may handle testing situations more effectively, influencing their psychological-wellbeing. This study examined test anxiety, coping strategies, and psychological-wellbeing of students with disabilities in inclusive basic schools in Lagos State. The objectives were to assess the levels of test anxiety, coping strategies employed, psychological-wellbeing, and investigate test anxiety and coping strategies as predictors of psychological well-being. A correlational design was employed, with a population of 208 upper basic nine students with disabilities in public inclusive schools. Data was collected from 189 basic nine students with disabilities using validated instruments on test anxiety, coping strategies, and psychological-wellbeing. Findings revealed moderate levels of test anxiety and psychological-wellbeing, with problem-focused and emotion-focused coping strategies commonly used. Test anxiety and coping strategies are not significant predictors of psychological-wellbeing of students with disabilities. The study recommended that, Inclusive schools in Lagos State should organize Parent Teachers Conference on how to support children's psychological-wellbeing by understanding test anxiety and coping strategies

Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi,  Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Kupang.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (a) Untuk mengetahui apa saja nilai-nilai  kearifan lokal yang relevan, dalam menumbuhkan sikap sosial siswa di SMA Negeri 5 Kupang.  (b) Untuk mengetahui metode yang cocok untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, data  dikumpulkan melalui Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta divalidasi dengan  triangulasi.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) Nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang relevan dalam  menumbuhkan sikap sosial siswa adalah, nilai gotong royong, nilai musyawara mufakat, dan  nilai sopan santun dan tata kerama yang bisa menumbuhkan sikap sosial siswa.     Optimalisasi Kompetensi Kewirausahaan Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kesejahteraan Guru di SD Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Sragen

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh kompetensi kewirausahaan kepala sekolah terhadap kesejahteraan guru di SD Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Sragen. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah memiliki kompetensi kewirausahaan yang kuat, ditunjukkan melalui pengelolaan unit usaha seperti Koperasi Serba Usaha, produksi air mineral, dan penyewaan rumah bagi guru. Usaha ini memberikan tambahan pendapatan yang dialokasikan untuk program kesejahteraan guru, seperti subsidi umroh dan kegiatan refreshing. Selain dukungan finansial, kesejahteraan spiritual dan psikologis guru juga diperhatikan melalui kegiatan seperti Morning Mengaji dan kajian rutin, yang menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang islami dan mendukung kesejahteraan mental. Guru merasa lebih termotivasi dan loyal terhadap sekolah berkat adanya kesejahteraan yang holistik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kompetensi kewirausahaan kepala sekolah memainkan peran penting dalam menciptakan iklim kerja yang positif dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan guru secara menyeluruh

    Science learning at the elementary school level is more focused on planting basic concepts, one of which is force material. The planting of concepts will affect the understanding of other concepts in the future. Misconceptions occur because the cultivation of concepts is not in line with the ideas that have been agreed upon by experts. This study aims to assist teachers in analyzing students' misconceptions about force material, analyzing the factors that cause misconceptions, and providing recommendations to overcome these misconceptions. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive method, using a three tier diagnostic written test sheet as a data collection tool. The three tier diagnostic test used amounted to 10 items and each question consisted of 3 levels of questions. Based on the analysis of misconceptions in this force material, it was found that the highest misconception experienced by students was in the concept of gravitational force affecting the speed of falling objects at 85.19%, while the lowest misconception was in the concept of the effect of gravitational force on the direction and motion of an object at 4.44%. Misconceptions occur due to several factors, one of which is the delivery of teaching materials by the teacher. The information generated from this research can guide teachers in increasing knowledge about the correct concept of force. This research also allows teachers to design appropriate learning strategies to overcome students' misconceptions, especially in the classroom
