Kontribusi Kecerdasan Emosional dan Kecerdasan Sosial terhadap Kinerja Pegawai pada Organisasi Perangkat Daerah Kabupaten Tanah Datar
This study aimed to determine the contribution of emotional intelligence and social intelligence on the performance of employees in the Local Apparatus Organization of Tanah Datar Regency. This study was motivated by various problems which indicated the low quality of employee performance which was allegedly related to the low emotional intelligence and social intelligence of the employees. This was a quantitative research whose population was all civil servants in the organization totaling 1.596 people. The sample in this study consisted of 320 respondents who were determined using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5% and set through Multistage Random Sampling technique. Data in this study were collected trough questionnaires with Likert scale measurement and analyzed with multiple linear regression test. The results of this study showed that there was a contribution of emotional intelligence to employee performance by 41,3%. There was also a contribution of social intelligence to employee performance amounted to 48,3%. At the same time, the contribution of emotional and social intelligence on the performance of employees in the Local Apparatus Organization of Tanah Datar Regency were 53,2%. So it could be concluded that emotional intelligence and social intelligence contributed significantly to employee performances
Penggunaan Cooperative Learning Model Jigsaw dalam Peningkatan Aktifitas Siswa pada Pembelajaran PKn di SMPN 1 Kota Pariaman
This study aimed to increase the student learning activity in Citizenship Education at classroom VIII.5 SMP Negeri 1 of Pariaman City in the 1st half semester of 2015/2016. This study was conducted through Classroom Action Research with the application of the Jigsaw model in cooperative learning. This study was conducted in two cycles. The finding of this study showed that the use of Jigsaw model in Citizenship Education classroom could increase the activity of the learners, the average value of their learning outcomes, and learning completeness of the learners. The conclusion of this study was that there were increased activities in the student learning in Citizenship Education by using the Cooperative Learning of Jigsaw model so as to improve learning outcomes of the students in grade VIII.5 SMP Negeri 1 of Pariaman City
Pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Kualitas Pelayanan pada Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Perindustrian Kota Padang
This research aimed to determine the influence of work environment on service quality at Labor and Industry Agency of Padang City. This was an associative study with a causal relationship variable. The population of this study was all of people who received services at Labor and Industry Agency of Padang City on July 2018. Sample of this research consisted 265 respondents, determined through the table of Isaac and Michael with a level of 10% error. Data in this research were collected through questionnaires and analyzed with Multiple Linear Regression Analysis by SPSS version 22.0 software. The results of this research showed that there was a significant influence of physical work environment (X1) on service quality (Y) with a contribution amounted to 22.3%. Then, there was also a significant influence of non-physical work environment (X2) on service quality (Y) with a contribution amounted to 8.9%. Furthermore, there was also co-significant influence on the physical work environment (X1) and the non-physical work environment (X2) simultaneously on service quality (Y) with a contribution as many as 25.8%
Pengaruh Kompensasi terhadap Kinerja Perangkat Nagari dalam Pengelolaan Keuangan Nagari di Kecamatan Salimpaung
This study revealed the effect of compensation on the performance of nagari apparatus in the management of nagari finance in Kecamatan Salimpaung, Tanah Datar District. This study used associative quantitative method. The population in this study is all nagari apparatus in Kecamatan Salimpaung as many as 42 people consisting of nagari secretary, nagari treasurer, and staffs. The sample of this study consisted of 38 respondents determined by multistage random sampling technique and used slovin formula. The data of this study were collected through questionnaire and analyzed with multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results of this study indicated that compensation simultaneously had a significant effect on the performance of nagari apparatus in the management of nagari finance in Kecamatan Salimpaung. Partially, finansial compensation had a significant influence on the performance of nagari apparatus in nagari finansial management; while non-finansial compensation had no significant effect on the performance of the nagari apparatus in the management of nagari finance in Kecamatan Salimpaung
Kontribusi Inovasi Pelayanan Publik terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan dalam Penerbitan Paspor di Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I Padang
This study aimed to determine the contribution of public service innovation on customer satisfaction in issuing passports at the Office of Immigration Class I Padang. The background of this research was that there were many people complained about the queue for passport request. This study was conducted through a quantitative approach. The population in this study was all Indonesian Citizens (WNI) who had received passport request services from the Office of Immigration Class I Padang from January to June 2018 totaling 16.311. The sample in this study consisted of 390 respondents determined with Slovin Formula and through a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data in this study were collected through questionnaires with Likert Scale measurement. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression tests. The partial test results showed that the novelty dimension (X1), the productive dimension (X2), the impact dimension (X3), and the sustainability dimension (X4) had a significant contribution on customer satisfaction with a significance value of 0,000. While simultaneously public service innovations (consisted of novelty, productive, impact, and sustainability) had a significant contribution on customer satisfaction in issuing passports at the Office of Immigration Class I Padang
Kontribusi Pengalaman Kerja terhadap Kinerja Perangkat Nagari dalam Pengelolaan Keuangan Nagari di Kabupaten Tanah Datar
The objective of this research was to know the influence of work experience on the performance nagari apparatus in managing nagari finance in Tanah Datar Regency. The problem of this research is that some apparatus of nagari in this regency did not have sufficient work experience in financial management. The population in this research was all nagari apparatus totaling 525 people. Sample in this research determined through random sampling technique and consisted of 227 nagari apparatus from 32 nagaris. Data in this research collected through questionnaire with Likert scale measurement. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this research showed that there were influence of work experience on performance of nagari apparatus in financial management in Tanah Datar Regency. The results of the partial test showed that the influence of work period variable (X 1) on the performance of the nagari apparatus was 7.9%, the influence of the level of knowledge and skills (X 2) towards the performance of the nagari apparatus amounted to 8.8%, and the influence of mastery against the work and equipment (X 3) on the performance of the nagari apparatus in financial management was 9.3%. While the simultaneous influence of these three variables (X1, X2, and X3) on the performance of the nagari apparatus was 11.2%
Pengaruh Kompetensi terhadap Kinerja Perangkat Nagari dalam Pengelolaan Keuangan Nagari di Kabupaten Tanah Datar
This study aimed to determine the influence of competence on performance of nagari government apparatus in managing nagari finance in Tanah Datar regency. This study was conducted with quantitative approach. The population of this study was all nagari government apparatus in Tanah Datar regency as many as 525 people consisting of nagari secretary, nagari treasurer, and five head of nagari affairs. The sample in this study consisted of 227 respondents determined with Slovin formula and Multi Stage Random Sampling technique. The data of this study were collected through questionnaire with likert scale measurement. Data of this study were analyzed with multiple linear regression test. The finding of this study indicated that the influence of knowledge sub-variables on the performance of nagari government apparatus in nagari financial management was 5.6%; the influence of skill on the financial management was equal to 7,3%; and the influence of attitude sub variable on the nagari financial management was equal to 8,5%. At the same time, the influence of knowledge, skills, and attitudes on the performance of financial management was 10.3%. Thus it could be concluded that the competence of nagari government apparatus consisting of knowledge, skills, and attitudes significantly influenced their performance in nagari financial management
Peningkatan Aktivitas Belajar Siswa Melalui Model Pembelajaran Talking Stick pada Mata Pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 02 Ranah Pesisir
This study tried to proof if the use of Talking Stick learning model could improve student activities in Social Science subject matter in SMPN 2 Ranah Pesisir. This study was a classroom action research conducted at grade VIII 2 SMPN 2 Ranah Pesisir in the first semester of Academic Year of 2012/2013 with a population consisted of 34 students. This study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle was carried out with three meetings. From the results of the study it could be concluded that there was a significant increase in students' activities using Talking Stick learning model. By applying this model, students’ activities increased. In addition, they were more motivated to learn because they thought this model was interesting and fun. The results of this study showed the increasing of Social Science learning activities after the implementation of cooperative learning with Talking Stick model. It means that the Talking Stick model could improve student learning activities in Social Science subject at grade VIII 2 SMPN 2 Ranah Pesisir
Pengaruh Kompetensi Pegawai terhadap Kualitas Pelayanan Administrasi Terpadu Kecamatan (Paten) di Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang
This study was motivated by various problems of dissatisfaction felt by the society to the less qualified service from employees in the public sector. This study aims to determine whether the competence of employees influence the quality of services in the District Integrated Administration Services (PATEN) in Kuranji Subdistrict, Padang City. This is a quantitative study. The population in this study consisted of 96,098 people with the sample of 398 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was proportional sampling technique. The data of this study were analyzed with simple linear regression analysis. The result of data analysis showed that the competence of employees had a positive and significant influence on the quality of PATENT service in Kuranji Subdistrict, Padang City with total influence of 53.7%. This showed that the higher the competence of the employees would be the higher the quality of service PATENT in the Kuranji Subdistrict
Strategy For Preventing Forest and Land Fires in Belitung Regency
The purpose of this study is to determine the behavior of society and other parties in managing forests and land as well as to formulate strategies to prevent forest and land fire in Belitung Islands Belitung province. This study uses a mixed method by combining descriptive method which is supported by AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). From the analysis that has been done, there are five policy priorities that can be applied as the policy strategies to prevent both forest and land fires in Belitung Regency, namely: 1) imposition of discipline the use of fire for land expansion, 2) Tightening surveillance, patrols and surveillance in vulnerable forest burning, 3) Socialization and elucidation to the society about the dangers of forest and land fires, 4) Develop training patterns of forest and land fire prevention, 5) Establish prone areas to fire
