Get PDFThis study aimed to determine and analyze how much the influence of the work ethic and integrity on the performance of Civil Servants (PNS) within the Regional Government Organizations/Agencies (OPD), Regional Secretariat, Legislator Secretariat, Inspectorate Office, and some SubDistrict offices in Padang City. The method used in this study was associative quantitative. The population of this study was all civil servants within the Regional Government Organizations/Agencies (OPD), Regional Secretariat, Legislator Secretariat, Inspectorate Office, and some SubDistrict offices in Padang City. The sample size in this study used the Bartlett formula and the sample was determined through proportional stratified random sampling. Data in this study were collected through questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement. The data obtained were then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this study showed that the effect of work ethic and integrity variables had significantly influenced on the performance of Civil Servants (PNS) in the Regional Government Organizations/Agencies (OPD), Regional Secretariat, Legislator Secretariat, Inspectorate Office, and some SubDistrict offices in Padang City
Pengaruh Semangat Kerja terhadap Kinerja Perangkat Nagari dalam Pengelolaan Keuangan Nagari di Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan
Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of work spirit on the performance of nagari apparatus in Nagari financial management in Pesisir Selatan Regency. The background of this research is due to the low work spirit of Nagari apparatus in Koto XI Tarusan and Bayang subdistrict which is still so that it has an impact on Nagari financial management that is not optimal. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with the form of associative research. The population in this study was of Nagari devices in Koto XI Tarusan and Bayang Subdistrict, totaling 140 respondents. The sample in this study consisted of 126 Nagari devices which were determined using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5% and the sampling technique using the Proportionate Stratifed Random Sampling technique. Data collection technique in this study are using questionnaires distributed to respondents with measurement using a Likert scale. The data obtained are then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the work spirit variable (simultaneously) has a significant effect on the performance of nagari apparatus in nagari financial management with a significance value of 0,000 and the value of Adjust R Square 0.295. Thus, the influence of work spirit on the performance of nagari devices in managing nagari finances is 29.5%. While the remaining 70.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study

Get PDFThis study aimed to evaluate the implementation of the life insurance policy in Padang City. This study is based on a number of problems, namely that there were still many poor people in Padang City did not know the implementation of the Life Insurance Policy. There were still many poor people in Padang City did not have a Community Health Insurance Card or Regional Health Insurance as one of the conditions for obtaining the life insurance funds. This study was a descriptive with qualitative approach. The informants in this study were determined through purposive technique. Data were collected through observation, interview and documention studies. The results of this study indicated that the implementation of the life insurance policy has not been effective, based onpolicy evaluation indicators used by William Dunn, that is the maximization in goal achievement, efficiency in implementation effort, community satisfaction for government policy, equal distribution. The life insurancefunds has been distributed evenly, the community supported the life insurance policy, and the life insurance policy is right to be implemented among community in Padang City

Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to determine the inhibiting factors and forms of empowerment of corn farmers by Stakeholders in nagari Kataping Kecamatan Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. The backround of this research is that there are still many nagari Kataping communities who do not yet know how to process corn after harvest. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive type. The technique of this research is purposive sampling. The informants of this guidelines the form of structured questions and documentation. Data validity test in this study uses data source triangulation techniques because the comparison and back-checking of the degree of information obtained through different sources. Data analysis techniques throught three stages, namely the stage of data reduction, the stage of data presentation, and the stage of drawing conclusions. The results of this study are the forms of empowerment of corn farmers by Stakeholders and the inhibiting factors for the cultivation of corn farmers by Stakeholders in the nagari Kataping Kecamatan Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman

It is still seen as an important institution and actor whose role is in fostering social relations and public services. This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The informants of the study were determined purposively. Data is collected by making observations, interviews, and documentation studies and reduced so that conclusions can be drawn. The results showed that the delegation of authority was given based on the objectives and plans that had been prepared previously and the mechanism applied in SitinjauLaut Subdistrict had been based on the clarity of the position hierarchy even though the implementation was less effective due to the sub-district institution

As well as knowing how far the role of government overcome the genre ambassador problem in socialize genre BKKBN program. This research uses a qualitative approach which is interpreted as a research resulting in a descriptive form of words that can be observed and directed to the background individually and in society. A qualitative research approach is a complex, in-depth approach. The informant is derived from the management of the generation planning Program, including Kasubid area of population control, counseling and mobilization DP3AP2KB Kota Padang, and from the Genre ambassadors. Based on the results of the study, the genre ambassadors in socialize BKKBN program in Padang City can be said to be effective. Padang City people feel the benefits of the presence of the genre ambassadors in socialize Genre BKKBN program. The changes that occurred after the ambassador genre can also be seen from the problem of young marriage, Napza, free sex, and readiness of human resources who are ready to receive the BKKBN program through the genre ambassadors by proving the public can Overcome obstacles. But there is still a shortage in the implementation of the genre ambassador activities in socialize Genre BKKBN program is weak supervision done to the event of the ambassador of the genre itself

Background of this study was still poor performance of nagari government apparatus in managing nagari financial that there was in Tanah Datar Regency. This study used quantitative method. This study was conducted to 75 nagari government in Tanah Datar Regency with total population as many as 600 people consisted of walinagari, nagari secretary, nagari treasurer, and five head of nagari affairs. The sample in this study consisted of 244 respondents determined with slovin formula. The data of this study collected through questionnaire with likert scale measurement. Data of this studi were analyzed with Multiple Linear Regression Test. The result in this study showed that organization culture variabel, both simultaneously and partially significantly influence the nagari financial management in Tanah Datar Regency 
Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Pelestarian Lingkungan di kawasan Pantai Padang
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the Community Participation in Environmental Conservation in the Padang Coast area, to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in Community Participation in Environmental Conservation in the Padang Beach area, to find out the efforts of the Padang City Culture and Tourism Office in increasing community participation in environmental conservation. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. This research was conducted in the Padang Beach Area, Cimpago Beach and Muaro Lasak. Research informants were determined by purposive sampling. Data collected is in the form of secondary data and primary data through interviews, observation and documentation studies. The validity test of the data is done by triangulation and then the data is analyzed by reducing data, displaying data and drawing conclusions during the study. The results of this study indicate that there is still a lack of community participation in the coastal Padang area. Supporting factors found were environmental preservation programs from the Padang city cultural and tourism services and support from the leadership. The inhibiting factors are lack of public awareness, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, lack of awareness from tourists.
