Self-Regulation, Conformity, and the Procrastination Puzzle: A Mediated Path Analysis Among University Students
Academic procrastination undermines student achievement worldwide; yet, prior evidence on its antecedents focuses almost exclusively on individual-level self-regulation, while overlooking social pressures. This study investigates whether peer conformity mediates the relationship between self-regulation and procrastination among university students, thereby integrating cognitive-behavioural and sociocultural perspectives. A cross-sectional survey was administered to 428 undergraduates (Mage = 20.1 ± 1.4 years; 63 % female) recruited via stratified random sampling across four Indonesian universities. Participants completed validated Indonesian versions of the Short Self-Regulation Questionnaire, the Academic Procrastination Scale, and the Peer Conformity Scale. After confirmatory factor and reliability analyses, a latent-variable path model with a 5,000-sample bootstrap was tested in AMOS to estimate direct and indirect effects. The measurement model demonstrated good fit (χ²/df = 1.89, CFI = 0.962, TLI = 0.955, RMSEA = 0.046). Self-regulation negatively predicted conformity (β = −0.46, p < .001) and procrastination (β = −0.31, p < .001). Conformity positively predicted procrastination (β = 0.35, p < .001). A significant indirect path confirmed that conformity partially mediates the self-regulation–procrastination link (βindirect = −0.16, 95 % CI [−0.23, −0.10]), accounting for 34 % of the total effect. Findings extend social-cognitive models of delay behaviour by showing that low personal control heightens susceptibility to peer-norm pressures, intensifying procrastination. Interventions should pair self-regulatory training with strategies that recalibrate classroom norms (e.g., collaborative goal setting) to curb academic delay
Living As Citizen In Smart City
The idea of smart cities has gained traction recently. It has attracted much attention from administrators, legislators, urban planners, and others in response to the complicated problems caused by unparalleled urbanization. However, public participation or citizen engagement is essential in the smart city concept to achieve the goals optimally. This research will primarily focus on several methodologically crafted problem sets to produce thorough analytical results. They ask how the notion of "smart cities" fits into the bigger picture of how citizen engagement in green cities affects Indonesia's green economy and ultimately, how well Indonesia's smart cities align with the 1945 Constitution. This study looks at smart city-based policies from the perspectives of participation, economy, and constitution, which is different from previous studies. The findings indicate that several smart city programs and regulations still rely on local government policies, which means that residents' rights are not allocated fairly. The construct is significant in developing ecologically sound entrepreneurship through initiatives to promote interest in community participation through green entrepreneurship orientation. The smart city concept is a means of achieving the success of community engagement in promoting a green economy and constitution

The elaboration of Ahlussunnah Wal Jamaah (Aswaja) Character and Pancasila Student Profile (P3) is a form of unification carried out by madrasah to form noble and nationalist student characters. There is research stating that religion and nationalism are found to be in conflict in several ways. However, the relationship between religion and nationalism can be integrated through character education. The main focus of this research is to analyze the elaboration process of Aswaja and P3 characters in schools under the auspices of Islamic boarding schools and see the social practices of Aswaja and P3 character building. This article uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The analysis of Aswaja and P3 character habituation practices is based on Pierre Bourdieu's social practice theory, which explains how the school environment shapes students' mindsets, attitudes, and actions. Data were collected through interviews, observations and documentation. The research findings show that the elaboration of Aswaja and P3 character education is manifested in students' social practices formed through Madrasah activities that emphasize Aswaja and P3 characters (Habitus), interactions between teachers and students and recognition of Aswaja and P3 values (Capital), and a supportive environment in madrasah (Field). Resulting in a very effective practice of habituation of student character. This is able to encourage students to be active in social activities, strengthen harmony among others, and optimize understanding of diversity

The Dynamic Analysis of Non-State Actor Involvement in Post-Disaster Management: A Case Study of Cold Lava Floods in Nagari Bukik Batabuah, Agam Regency
Post-disaster management in Indonesia faces significant challenges, particularly in highly vulnerable areas such as Nagari Bukik Batabuah, Agam Regency, which was affected by cold lava floods from the eruption of Mount Marapi in May 2024. The main problem lies in collaboration between the government and Non-State Actors (NSAs), particularly regarding differences in recovery approaches, obstacles to data collection on vulnerable groups, and obstacles in aid distribution. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of NSA involvement in post-disaster management, identify patterns of cross-actor interaction, and challenges faced in the collaborative process. Using qualitative methods with a descriptive approach, this study collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation analyzed using the Manual Data Analysis Procedure (MDAP) and Strauss and Corbin coding techniques. The research findings reveal that NSAs, such as Jemari Sakato, play a significant role in accelerating recovery through inclusive programs and assistance targeting vulnerable groups. However, collaboration with the village government is often hampered by weak coordination, lack of data transparency, and suboptimal collaborative institutional design. Public response to the NSA intervention was generally positive, but criticisms persisted regarding data collection and information transparency. This study emphasizes the need to strengthen collaborative governance that is inclusive, participatory, and equitable so that post-disaster recovery in vulnerable areas can be effective, sustainable, and responsive to local needs
A, The Policy For Promoting The Existence Of Exoticism In Surabaya As A Spice Route Point
The spice commodity trade has shaped the history of sea trade routes, which cannot be separated from Surabaya's important role in international relations. The Indonesian government has made the spice route a cultural priority for 2021 to gain world cultural heritage recognition. This research uses a mixed method with three approaches: phenomenological, cross-sectional, and quasi-experiment. The results of this research include: (a) Public understanding regarding the existence of the exoticism of the Surabaya spice route is still low; (b) Low knowledge regarding evidence of the spice route in Surabaya; and (c) There is a need for media that can promote the existence of the exoticism of the spice route. Based on these results, researchers offer promotional media in the form of the Arempaja board game to communicate the exotic existence of the Surabaya spice route to the broader community, especially the younger generation. In line with this solution, researchers utilized the connectionist theory by Edward L Thorndike, relating stimulus events (s) to responses (r). The contents of the Arempaja board game are taken from the results of in-depth interviews with several perspectives and direct visits to trail points on the Surabaya spice route. Based on the results of the effectiveness test, it was found that the Arempaja board game increased players' understanding of the Surabaya spice route. This research concludes that the Arempaja board game is suitable for promotional media or learning media regarding the exotic existence of the Surabaya spice route.

The results of the study state that 1) Objectives, to reduce the amount of waste generated at the Benowo Surabaya TPA. 2) Environment, which influences the implementation of this strategy, namely external factors from the private sector PT Sumber Organik as the manager of the TPA and the internal environment, the Surabaya City Government which prepares and regulates the implementation of waste management into electrical energy. 3) Direction, there is a direction from the President of the Republic of Indonesia given to the City of Surabaya to build a waste management installation into electrical energy in accordance with Presidential Regulation Number 35 of 2018 and further direction is given by the Surabaya City Government to the Environmental Service to run the program. 4) Action, the waste management program into electrical energy in the City of Surabaya in collaboration with private agencies according to the specified agreement. 5) Learning, there are environmental experts and ASN who conduct comparative studies abroad to increase their insight into waste management
Enhancing Vocabulary in English Learning through Songs in Senior High School
This study aims to improve students' English vocabulary mastery through song-based learning activities at SMAN 12 Merangin. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative approach. This study was conducted for two cycles. The research subjects were 30 students of class X of SMA Negeri 12 Merangin. The results of the study indicate that the application of song-based learning in English subjects has proven significant in improving students' English vocabulary mastery. This is evidenced by the data of an increase of 83.3% from the initial 66.7% after the application of the song method for 2 cycles of 4 meetings with a duration of 2x45 minutes each meeting. In cycle 1, the highest score was 95 and the lowest was 25, while the highest score in cycle 2 was 100 and the lowest was 50. The increase in the average score from cycle 1 to cycle 2 started from 76.7 to 87.3. This shows that, although the application of songs in English learning as an effort to improve English vocabulary mastery is effective, there are several factors that influence the results. Factors such as motivation, interest, active involvement of students during the learning process, as well as external factors such as the availability of learning media devices such as sound systems. However, the application of this learning method not only improves English vocabulary mastery, but also encourages student activity and interest in learning due to the application of songs in the learning process, thereby creating a more comfortable learning atmosphere, especially for students with an auditory learning style
Eksistensi Sentra Kerajinan Tembaga Desa Tumang: Strategi Bertahan dalam Dinamika Zaman
Copper and brass crafts in Tumang Village, Cepogo District, Boyolali Regency, remain the mainstay of the community's economy. Unlike many other traditional craft centers that have declined due to their inability to adapt, Tumang has continued to develop and become known as the largest metal craft center in Indonesia. This study explains the survival strategies of the copper and brass craft industry in Tumang Village. The main problems faced by craftsmen are global competition, limited workforce regeneration, and the need to adapt to developments in digital technology. This study was conducted in July–August 2025 using qualitative methods, namely a research approach that focuses on an in-depth understanding of social phenomena from the perspective of the research subjects. Research subjects included entrepreneurs, employee craftsmen, community leaders, and village government officials who have a direct relationship with the sustainability of the Tumang craft industry. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The research findings indicate that survival strategies in Tumang include product design innovation, maintaining handmade quality, modernizing digital-based marketing systems, dividing roles between entrepreneurs and employees, integrating with the tourism sector, and regenerating the workforce through internships, educational collaborations, and extracurricular activities. These findings demonstrate that the survival of Tumang crafts relies not solely on past cultural heritage but also on the ability to adapt to social, economic, and technological changes. The implications of this research contribute to strengthening the literature on sustainability strategies for the traditional crafts industry in Indonesia while also offering practical perspectives for developing regional policies and empowering communities based on local wisdom. Keywords: Survival Strategy, Industrial Sustainability, Copper and Brass Crafts, Tumang Village, Creative EconomyKerajinan tembaga dan kuningan di Desa Tumang, Kecamatan Cepogo, Kabupaten Boyolali, hingga kini tetap menjadi penopang utama ekonomi masyarakat.
