Get PDFThe role of financial consultants in brokerage firms has shifted from being mere product sellers to strategic partners for clients. This community service journal explores in depth the consultative approach strategy implemented by financial consultants in guiding prospective and existing clients in brokerage firms. Through this approach, the main focus is on building understanding, trust, and providing truly personalized investment solutions, rather than just being sales-oriented. Participatory observation methods and case study analysis are used to identify the stages, key skills, and impacts of the consultative approach on increasing public investment literacy and client satisfaction. The results of this activity show an increase in participants' knowledge of investment instruments and growth in confidence in making wiser investment decisions. The consultative approach has proven effective in bridging the information gap between industry players and the general public

Get PDFThe rapid development of digital technology has significantly impacted the pattern of information dissemination, including among students. At SMKN 2 Jombang, the low level of digital literacy among students makes them vulnerable to hoaxes and disinformation circulating on social media. A lack of understanding of information verification and the absence of formal education on identifying hoaxes are key challenges in fostering digital awareness. To address this issue, the program "Building Digital Awareness: Hoax and Disinformation Education through a Technological Approach for SMKN 2 Jombang Students" was designed. This program adopts a participatory and technology-based approach using blended learning methods, encompassing digital literacy training, technology utilization workshops, the creation of educational content, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation. Through interactive training, hoax case simulations, and the use of digital tools such as fact-checking platforms and AI-powered fake news detectors, students are trained to recognize, analyze, and counter hoaxes. The outcomes of this program indicate an increased understanding and awareness among students of the importance of digital literacy, as well as improved critical thinking skills in evaluating information. Furthermore, the program supports the integration of digital literacy into school learning activities to promote sustainable and effective digital education

Get PDFThis community service research aims to enhance the awareness, knowledge, and skills of residents in Margorejo Urban Village in independently managing household organic waste by utilizing simple technology in the form of a waste shredder. The main issue addressed is the low level of waste sorting and organic waste management practices at the household level, which contributes to high waste volume and suboptimal utilization of organic waste. The activities were carried out using a participatory approach, through direct observation and semi-structured interviews. The stages included community outreach, technical training on the use of the organic waste shredder, and assistance in composting practices involving the local waste bank as a partner. This collaborative approach enabled direct knowledge transfer and fostered a sense of ownership in environmental management. The results show that the use of the waste shredder accelerated the composting process, significantly reduced waste volume, and increased community participation in sustainable waste management efforts. Furthermore, the involvement of the waste bank strengthened local networks in integrated waste management and supported the implementation of circular economy principles in urban communities. In conclusion, the integration of a waste shredder and collaboration with a waste bank has proven effective in encouraging behavioral changes towards independent and sustainable waste management. This model can be replicated in other areas with similar conditions as a practical and applicable solution to address organic waste issues
Pemberdayaan Ibu PKK melalui Inovasi Produk Yogurt Kacang Hijau untuk Pencegahan Stunting
Get PDFEfforts to prevent stunting at the village level require contextual and innovative strategies, particularly by involving community empowerment in improving children's nutritional quality. This community service program was implemented in Tanjung Seumantoh Village, Karang Baru Subdistrict, Aceh Tamiang Regency, in response to the high percentage of families at risk of stunting (19.96%) and the low consumption of nutritious food caused by limited nutritional knowledge, high milk prices, and cases of lactose intolerance. The main objectives of this program were: (1) to enhance PKK mothers’ knowledge of balanced nutrition and the importance of adequate nutrient intake in preventing stunting, (2) to develop their skills in producing yogurt fortified with mung bean flour as a nutritious food product, and (3) to encourage the utilization of local food sources at the household level to support children's growth and development. The methods included an initial community assessment, nutrition education sessions, yogurt production training, post-activity evaluation through questionnaires, and follow-up mentoring. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge, with 84% of respondents demonstrating improved understanding of the nutritional benefits of mung beans as a fortifying ingredient in milk-based products. Additionally, a portion of respondents showed greater awareness of the relationship between child nutrition and stunting prevention (scale 5; 4.52±0.51), and most participants agreed that they were able to independently follow the steps of milk processing after the training (scale 4; 4.12±0.83). Furthermore, household-level food diversification increased, and 52% of participants were motivated to continue producing fortified yogurt independently. These findings indicate that fortifying UHT milk with mung bean flour through the active involvement of PKK mothers can serve as an effective, sustainable, and community-based strategy for stunting prevention while simultaneously contributing to family economic empowerment
Penguatan Literasi Keagamaan Perempuan Melalui Pelatihan Tafsir
Get PDFThis community engagement program aims to enhance women’s religious literacy through a thematic Qur’anic interpretation training using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach within the BKMT community of Telanaipura District, Jambi City. The program focuses on strengthening women’s contextual understanding of Islamic teachings by involving 25 active female members of the majelis taklim in six training sessions conducted at Nurul Iman Mosque and participants’ homes. The core themes included women’s roles in the Qur’an, gender justice, Qur’anic family values, and religious moderation. The PAR approach was implemented through stages of coordination, needs assessment, thematic module development, interactive training, reflection, and evaluation. Qualitative data were collected through observation, group discussions, and participant reflections, then descriptively analyzed to capture learning dynamics and knowledge transformation. The results revealed a significant improvement in participants’ ability to interpret Qur’anic verses contextually, accompanied by increased awareness of moderation, justice, and equality in religious life. Participants showed active engagement and initiated independent women’s Qur’anic study groups as a follow-up action. This training demonstrates that participatory learning effectively empowers women through religious literacy by enhancing not only spiritual understanding but also leadership, solidarity, and social responsibility. The practical implication suggests that the PAR-based thematic tafsir training model can be replicated in other majelis taklim communities to foster a moderate, inclusive, and just Islamic society
Implementasi Aplikasi E-Masjid dalam Penguatan Administrasi dan Transparansi Keuangan
Get PDFThe digitalization of mosque administration has become essential for improving transparency, efficiency, and accountability in institutional governance. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of training on the use of the E-Masjid application in enhancing the competencies and readiness of mosque administrators to adopt technology-based administrative systems. The study employed a participatory, practice-oriented training model consisting of conceptual briefings, demonstrations, and simulations, involving 26 participants from six mosques representing diverse institutional categories. The results indicate substantial improvements in participants’ understanding of mosque digitalization concepts, technical abilities in operating the application, and readiness for implementation, with an average score increase of 60–80%. The digitalization of financial management, congregational data, and asset inventories significantly strengthened accountability, improved congregational trust, and facilitated structured management of social programs. The findings reveal that successful integration of digital systems requires adequate infrastructure and improved digital literacy among mosque administrators. This study contributes to the growing body of literature on community-based digital governance and offers a replicable model for digital transformation in various mosque settings. The implications highlight the importance of sustained mentoring to ensure that digitalization becomes an integral component of modern, responsive mosque governance

WhatsApp business developed by WhatsApp has been integrated with AI through bot agents in its chatbot feature. This feature provides user convenience with the autoreply or autoresponse method offered. TeFa Creative Engineering seeks to design a simple online marketing application that makes it easy for users to shop online for TeFa Creative Engineering products. The implementation of TeFa digitalization on the WhatsApp Business AutoResponse-based ordering and sales system shows a user satisfaction level of 90.5%, while those who expressed dissatisfaction were 9.5% with a total of 21 respondents
Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru melalui Coaching for Teaching di Al Baitul Amien
Get PDFCoaching for Teaching is a strategic approach to teacher professional development, emphasizing reflective practice, empathy, and student empowerment. This community engagement initiative aimed to enhance teachers’ understanding, motivation, and skills in applying coaching principles to classroom instruction. The program was conducted at SMP Al Baitul Amien over 8 hours and involved 30 teacher participants. The training used lectures, simulations, and case studies. Evaluation was carried out using a Likert-scale questionnaire and open-ended questions. The results showed significant improvements in understanding of coaching principles (from 2.4 to 4.3), motivation to apply coaching (from 2.9 to 4.5), and coaching skills (from 2.2 to 4.0). Qualitative responses revealed that teachers gained deeper awareness of meaningful classroom relationships. The training proved effective as a teacher development model and is recommended for replication and further development through school-based learning communities

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Peran BUMDes Karangharjo dalam peningkatan perekonomian di Desa Karangharjo Kecamatan Silo. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pemilihan informan dalam penelitian ini mengunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Metode analisa data yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa Peran BUMDes dalam peningkatan perekonomian desa yakni sebagai fasilitator bagi masyarakat, sebagai mediator pelatihan dan motivator terhadap terbentuknya pengurus dan organisasi BUMDes serta sebagai dinamisator ditunjukkan dengan BUMDes dapat memberdayakan ekonomi desa dengan mengelola potensi sumber daya alam dan sumber daya manusia di desa, sehingga dapat menciptakan lapangan kerja dan meningkatkan pendapatan warga desa. Sedangkan program BUMDES di Desa Karangharjo seperti terbentuknya Caffe Bung Karjo, Wisata Desa dan Jasa Art.
Abstract
The role of BUMDes in institutional management is the leading unit of village community development. Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) are a government program that must be implemented in order to empower the socio-economic community. by prioritizing community participation and initiative. The aim of this research is to determine the role of BUMDes Karangharjo in improving the economy in Karangharjo Village, Silo District. The research conducted was qualitative research. The informant selection technique in this research used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used by researchers are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis method used is the descriptive method. The research results prove that the role of BUMDes in improving the village economy is as a facilitator for the community, as a training mediator and motivator for the formation of BUMDes administrators and organizations and as a dynamist, shown by BUMDes being able to empower the village economy by managing the potential of natural resources and human resources in the village, so that it can create jobs and increase the income of village residents. Meanwhile, BUMDes programs in Karangharjo Village include the establishment of Caffe Bung Karjo, Village Tourism and Art Services.
 
Respon Pertumbuhan dan Perkembangan Anggrek Dendrobium helix terhadap Komposisi Pupuk NPK dan Konsentrasi Bakteri Fotosintesis yang Berbeda
Get PDFTujuan penelitian ini untuk menemukan komposisi NPK dan konsentrasi bakteri fotosintesis yang optimal untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anggrek dendrobium helix. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dusun Krajan, Kecamatan Sukorambi, Kabupaten Jember, provinsi Jawa Timur. Dimulai bulan Desember 2022 sampai bulan april 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial, faktor pertama adalah Komposisi NPK dengan 3 perlakuan (K) dan factor kedua adalah konsentrasi bakteri dengan 3 perlakuan (P) dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Perlakuan komposisi NPK yang digunakan adalah K1 = 1:1:1; K2 = 1,5:1:1; K3 = 2:2:2 dan konsentrasi Bakteri Fotosintesis P0 = Kontrol; P1 = 2,5 ml/L; P2 = 5 ml/L. Pengujian dilakukan dengan uji F dengan analisis Anova. Apabila terdapat beda nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT 5%. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa Komposisi NPK 2:1:1 (K3) terbaik karena mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman anggrek dendrobium helix pada parameter panjang daun, lebar daun dan bobot segar tanaman Biakan bakteri fotosintesis konsentrasi 5 m/L (P2) terbaik untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman anggrek pada parameter lebar daun, jumlah daun dan panjang akar.
