    Implementation of the Mobile School Program in Increasing the Quality of Education

    This study aims to describe how the implementation of the driving school program in improving the quality of education at SMAN South Sumatra. This research was conducted at the South Sumatra High School located in Jakabaring, Palembang, South Sumatra. implementation in this research activity, namely for two months from November 10 to December 10, 2022. The research is a type of qualitative research with an analytical descriptive flow that has the aim of proving various kinds of norms and theories regarding the quality of education in terms of the Pancasila Strengthening Project Bangunlah jiwa and Body and its application to the object of research. In qualitative research, the information obtained is generally in the form of words, and descriptive, and the majority is not in the form of numbers. Collecting data and information obtained by researchers while in the field by obtaining direct surveys and documentation and research results, almost 90% of students can implement the driving school program to improve education at SMAN South Sumatra from the results of the researcher’s evaluation

    Planning Leadership in Managing Boarding School

    This study aims to examine the leadership role of the principal in managing the boarding school dormitories at SMA N 3 Kayuagung. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach and data was collected through interviews, observation and document analysis. The results of the study show that the principal’s leadership has an important role in creating a conducive environment, managing resources, developing student coaching programs, and building collaboration with various related parties. The school principal is also responsible for ensuring adequate facilities and infrastructure as well as the welfare of students in boarding school dormitories. This research provides insight into the importance of principal leadership in managing boarding school dormitories and provides suggestions for further development at SMA N 3 Kayuagung

    Changing The Mindset of The Indigenous Dayak Community in West Kalimantan Towards Indigenous Forests as A Result of Palm Oil Plantations

    Since the opening of oil palm plantations in 1980 in West Kalimantan, which since 1982 has been managed under the People’s Nucleus Plantation (PIR-Bun) pattern, slowly but surely changing the mindset of indigenous Dayak people towards jungle forests or ulayat lands. Its influence is increasingly felt in the behavior and social life of the local community. The Dayak community has experienced a change in their “world view” of the forest. Those who have been friendly with nature since ancient times and uphold traditional principles, now in their lives, on the one hand, are leaving their ancestral traditions and following the trend of oil palm plantations, but on the other hand, their lives are increasingly cornered by the existence of oil palm plantations. The permissive attitude and pragmatism of those in power have resulted in a change in the “world view” of the local community. They no longer respect nature or forests as “sacred lands”. Society is also increasingly pragmatic, hedonic and consumptive. Local customs and wisdom in the form of family values, mutual cooperation, loyalty to the community, humility, sincerity, respect for nature and each other are increasingly fading.     The Influence of Teacher’s Certification and Motivation on the Teacher’s Performance

    This study aims to analyze the effect of certification and motivation on teacher’s performance. The location of this research was carried out at a public high school in the Kayuagung District. This type of research is quantitative research with a research design using an ex post facto research design. The sample in this study was a total of all teachers in public high schools in the Kayuagung District, consisting of 87 teachers. data collection technique using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques, and multiple regression. The results of this study state that 1) there is a significant influence between school teacher’s certification on the performance of public high school teachers in the Kayuagung District; 2) there is a significant influence between motivation on the performance of State Senior High School teachers in the Kayuagung District; 3) there is a significant effect of teacher’s certification and motivation together on the performance of teachers in public high schools in the Kayuagung District. These results suggest that the higher the qualification of a certified teacher, the higher the performance. Then, motivation within the teacher will have an impact on teacher’s performance

    There is a problem in the village at this time, namely the lack of community participation in sports. The problem is not yet clearly known or may be caused by the lack of maximum availability of sports facilities in Kali Berau Village, Bayung Lencir District. So this study is focused and aims to determine the relationship between the availability of sports facilities in the village with community participation in sports. The independent variable in this study is Sports Facilities (X) while the dependent variable is Community Participation in Sports (Y). The results showed that there was a partial relationship between each independent variable and the dependent variable. Stimuli, there is a relationship between the availability of sports facilities and the number of community participation in sports, all of which can be seen from the enthusiasm of many residents who exercise after the existing sports facilities are repaired and updated. Various factors must be considered, developed and optimized to increase community participation in sports because the community is very enthusiastic in sports when sports facilities in the village are well available and with support from the village government so that this research is expected to be used as a reference for policy makers in planning development and designing sports policies, especially in increasing community participation rates in exercising in the village

    This research is quantitative with the type of experimental design. This study aims to determine 1) the effect of fartlek training on increasing the vo2max ability of basketball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Lahat, 2) the effect of circuit training on increasing the vo2max ability of basketball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Lahat, 3) differences in the effect of fartlek and circuit training on increasing the vo2max ability of basketball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Lahat. The sample in this study were 30 students who took part in basketball extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 1 Lahat. The data analysis technique used the T test. The prerequisite test for data analysis used the normality test with the Lilliefors test with α = 0.05 and the homogeneity test of variance with the Barlet test α = 0.05. The results of the study 1. There is a significant effect of Fartlek training on the vo2max ability of basketball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Lahat, 2. There is a significant effect of Circuit Training on the vo2max ability of basketball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Lahat, 3.     The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the principal's leadership in building the character of students at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung, the constraints of the principal's leadership in building the character of students at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung and efforts to overcome obstacles to the leadership of the principal in building character students at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung. The research methodology used the descriptive qualitative method by using triangulation with data taken from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the principal's leadership in building the character of students at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung was carried out in 3 stages including planning to strengthen the character of the students at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung, implementing strengthening the character of students at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung and evaluating the implementation of a character-based curriculum for SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung. This study found that the obstacles faced were from internal and external factors, namely the lack of awareness of students, teacher, and parent factors, and solutions that were not optimal in building the character of students

    The Effect of the Traditional Game of Gobak Sodor on Dribbling Agility in Basketball Games for Extracurricular Students

    Gobak sodor game is performed with the aim of increasing the agility of the players in the basketball game. This type of research is quantitative research that uses the “pre-experimental design” research method, namely (one-group pretest-posttest design). The population in this study was 40 people. The sample in this study is a total of 40 people. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that this traditional game, in addition to being fun and motivating students in training, has other advantages, namely, it enables students to exercise. Therefore, students’ agility becomes more enhanced in driving and defending than before physical training with this game. The results of the hypothesis test show that the calculated t value is greater than the table t (9.102 > 2.021). Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted which reads there is a significant effect of traditional gobak sodor game on dribbling agility in basketball games for extracurricular students at SD Negeri 72 OKU

    Development of Nusantara Card Media in Learning IPS Class IV Elementary School

    Social studies learning requires learning media that can improve the learning achievement of grade IV students. This research is a type of R&D (Research and Development) research using the 3D model (Define, Design, Development). The purpose of this research is to produce a product of Nusantara cards on social studies learning grade IV. The problems found by teachers tend to use the lecture method, rarely use learning media, especially in social studies material, so that students’ understanding of social studies learning material is still low. This research was conducted at SDN 19 Rambang Niru in class IV. Data collection through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis in this study obtained validity and practicality. This research and development resulted in a valid archipelago card being used, with a score of 86% in the “very valid” category. Based on the results of the one-two-one trial, the results obtained 84% with the category “very practical”, and in the small group trial obtained 85% with the category “very practical”. It can be concluded that the archipelago card media is suitable for use in social studies learning

Wahab Sarobu Air Paoh Baturaja Ogan Komering Ulu. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted at State Senior High School 4 Ogan Komering Ulu, jl. Cabbage. Wahab Sarobu Air Paoh Baturaja Ogan Komering Ulu with the subject of this research is the teacher. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study are the steps of the principal’s leadership strategy in increasing teacher work motivation at SMA Negeri 4 OKU by giving appreciation or appreciation to teachers who have worked well, providing training and self-development to teachers to improve their quality, providing an environment which is comfortable for all school members to work well, gives freedom to teachers to work more creatively in teaching, besides that the principal determines the targets that must be achieved. By making a clear work program, teachers will feel directed and motivated to work better
