Efforts to Implement the Project to Strengthen the Profile of Pancasila Students as Student’s Character
This research aims to analyse the implementation of the Profile Strengthening Project Pancasila Students (P5) as an effort to strengthen the character of students includes design; management; processing assessments and reporting results; evaluate and act carry on. Study This use method qualitative descriptive in School State Policy 241 City of Palembang year 2023. Technique data collection in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysed with interactive techniques including data collection, data condensation, presentation data, and conclusions/verification. The research results show that 1) design P5 consists from form team, identify readiness school, determine dimensions character Profile Student Pancasila Which want to strengthened, determine theme, plan time, channel, assessment, And make module; 2) management P5 includes provocation and contextualization, P5 action, and celebration of learning outcomes; 3) Processing assessment and reporting P5 results includes collecting and processing results assessment and preparation of project reports; 4) evaluation and follow-up P5 in the form of strengthening character and continuing good habits with the Mari program In action. Through P5 actions, we can strengthen the character dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile to students, especially those who are faithful, devoted to God Almighty and have noble character, work together, be independent, have global diversity, think critically and creative
The Urgency of Oral Corrective Feedback in English Language Teaching: Students and Teachers’ Perception
Oral corrective feedback plays a significant role that cannot be ignored in second and foreign language learning. The objectives of the research is to reveal the urgency of oral corrective feedback in the English instruction. It further aims at providing guidance toward English instruction practice at secondary school. This research provides a clear description of feedback on English language teaching, especially how teachers give feedback and how students perceive and interpret the feedback given. The research was conducted in one of secondary schools in Kota Serang. In relation to this, the respondents of the research are English teachers and students at the second grade of secondary school. The data were collected through observation, interview, and questionnaire. It was found that the teacher gave oral corrective feedback immediately and delayed depend on the situation, focus on certain topics and collaboratively. The results revealed that students generally have good perception of oral corrective feedback. They like to be corrected when they made a mistak
How is the effect of Multiple Intelligences on Students’ Self-Confidence and English Daily Exam Scores?
The research aims to understand the impact of multiple intelligences toward students. Confidence and daily exam score of English Subject. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Abab, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency. This research used a quantitative approach. Data testing techniques were used in this research. 193 students were given a multiple intelligences test to find out what is their dominant intelligence and then used the data testing techniques to find out whether there was an impact or not toward the students’ confidence and daily exam score in English Subjects. The result of this research showed that (1) the student’s dominant intelligence did not significantly affect the English daily exam score. (2) some of the students’ dominant intelligence affected the students’ confidence in learning the English process, they were verbal intelligence, kinesthetic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence, and naturalistic intelligence. So, it can be concluded that the students’ dominant intelligence didn’t have any impact on the student’s exam scores while some of the students’ dominant intelligence had an impact to the student’s self-confidence
Effect of Speed and Balance Against Soccer Dribbling on Out of School Students of SD Negeri 78 Palembang
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of speed and balance training on soccer dribbling performance in extracurricular activities in SD Negeri 78 Palembang. The exploratory research method used was a one-group pre-test and post-test design experiment. With a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The population in this research was students who were involved in football extracurricular activities, the sample in this research was 30 people. The research instrument used was the soccer dribbling test. The treatment in this study took the form of agility and balance exercises performed for 6 weeks at a training frequency of 3 times per week. Test the performance using the experimental method with the results of the characteristic “t test” α = 0.05, obtained t-count = (23.6), while t-table = (1.70), l, so that Ha can be accepted, while HO rejects. According to the findings of the research that Ha is acceptable, then agility and balance exercises affect the improvement of soccer dribbling. The implication of this research is that agility and balance exercises can be used as a type of exercise to improve soccer dribbling
Athletes’ Perception of Basic Pencak Silat Book at the White Eagle College of North Musi Rawas Regency
This study aims to determine athletes’ perceptions of the use of basic pencak silat motion books, (1) athletes’ perceptions of pencak silat training, (2) the use of media in pencak silat training, (3) the need for the development of pencak silat books. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The results of this study stated that (1) Athletes’ perception of pencak silat training obtained a value of 75.81%, with a good category (2) The use of media in training obtained a value of 85%, very good (3) the need for the development of pencak silat books amounted to a value of 93.25% with the category of strongly agree. The results of this study show that athletes’ perceptions of the development of pencak silat books in the white eagle college of North Musi Rawas Regency are positive, for that it is necessary to develop pencak silat books in the white eagle college of North Musi Rawas Regency
The Influence of Academic Supervision and Teacher's Work Motivation on Teacher’s Competence in MTs Negeri of Palembang
This study was conducted to describe the effect of academic supervision and teacher work motivation on teacher competence, either partially or simultaneously. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The results achieved from the research that has been done state that partially academic supervision can have a positive and significant influence on teacher competence MTs Negeri throughout Palembang City; as well as with other partial tests that teacher work motivation can have a positive and significant influence on teacher competence; Meanwhile, the simultaneous test stated that academic supervision and teacher work motivation were able to have a positive and significant influence on teacher competence in MTs Negeri throughout Palembang City with a high level of influence
Analysis of School-Based Management and Principal Leadership in Improving Teacher Performance
This article discusses the general problem of low teacher performance in many schools in Indonesia, which can be seen from the school's consistently low qualitative average scores. The main goal of this article is to evaluate potential solutions to improve teacher effectiveness. The focus centers on two important aspects: the implementation of School Based Management (SBM) and the leadership style of the school principal. Identified challenges hindering teacher performance, including poor adaptation, lack of communication skills, and lack of openness to diverse opinions, will be examined. By using a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach, the author provides recommendations. The results of this article involve the implementation of a comprehensive principal leadership model that integrates visionary, democratic, and instructional elements, emphasizing support, collaboration, and commitment to ongoing professional development and motivation. The proposed model is expected to significantly improve teacher performance in schools in Indonesia

In the era of globalization, the personalities of high school children are influenced by globalization. This can be shown by the decline in character values in each individual. For example, lack of manners, cheating on exams, lack of social sensitivity and so on. The method used for this article is descriptive qualitative and literature study. A literature study method was also carried out, namely by collecting data by reading and reviewing literature that had been found by other researchers related to topics and problems related to cultivating an attitude of loving local culture in the era of globalization in high school children. The public's awareness of wanting to maintain their culture is still relatively minimal. Because children nowadays are more interested in foreign culture that has entered their territory, because the foreign culture that has entered is more practical and in line with current development trends
A Grammar of Mëranaw Language
This paper describes the grammar of Mëranaw (ISO 639-3: mrw). Mëranaw, or more commonly known as Maranao, is a Philippine language prevalently spoken in almost all parts of Lanao del Sur province and in some areas in Lanao del Norte, Maguindanao, and North Cotabato. The primary goal of this study is to provide a grammar of the Mëranaw language that entails linguistic features of the language covering its morphological features. The participants of this study were the three identified professional and native speakers living in Marawi City. The elicited materials consist of the 615-word list and 775-sentence list from UP Department of Linguistics were transcribed and analyzed using the Basic Linguistic Theory. It was found that morphologically speaking, Mëranaw language has a rich culture of affixation as prefixes, suffixes, infixes, and circumfixes are all present to create new words. These affixations include the prefix p-, mak-, and tomi- and the suffix -an. Moreover, the infix ka- -an and circumfix p- -n, miaka- -e. This is to form another lexical category of a given Mëranaw word that most likely entails to tells the time certain Mëranaw verbs take place. Furthermore, this grammar sketch aims to provide a concrete reference for Mother Tongue–Based Multilingual Education (MTB-MLE) as the Mëranaw language is one of the languages being taught. It further implies language description and documentation as the basis for language revitalization and at the same time culture preservation
The The Students Perceptions by Using Tik Tok as a Media Learning English
This study aims to find out student opinion responses to the use of the tik tok application to students majoring in English University at Dehasen Bengkulu. The researchers used a type of qualitative descriptive research. The researcher used Qualitative descriptive is a method. Problem solving is seen by describing the state of an object or objects. After that, the data is obtained based on the facts contained in the object. The analytical method used in this research is confirmation by using a descriptive analysis method. This descriptive analysis approach is to see students' opinions about the use of tick tock media as a medium for learning English. Then, the instrument used by researchers is a questionnaire used by researchers to collect data. The research used can be in the form of tables, graphs, medians, modes, averages, percents and percentage calculations, all of which are translated into descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that students strongly agree with the use of tick tock as a learning medium. the tik tok application is one of the social media applications that is in great demand by the public. Therefore, by being creative using tick tock, students are able to develop and increase students innovative power in learning English. with the tik tok application, students can be creative through short videos
