The formulation of expectations by the teacher helps to reflect on their own pedagogical activities in teaching a foreign language.  Suggested components (language: linguistic skills, topics / situations, competencies, content; situations: assignments, speaking, reading, writing, listening, communicative functions, genre; learning process and learner: emotional goals, interpersonal skills, learning strategies; social context  : sociolinguistic, sociocultural, sociopolitical skills) allow the teacher to conceptualize the content of teaching a foreign language.  Diagnostics of the needs and needs of students is a systematic, constant process of collecting information about the needs, preferences, interests of students, their interpretation and generalization for subsequent inclusion in the goal-setting process.  The forms of collecting information are letters to the teacher, brainstorming, oral interviews, anonymous feedback, questionnaires, group discussions, conferences, etc

Rural Agriculture is the backbone for any country's economic development, and it helps the economy to grow and sustain. Rural development is the axis of the economy involving the other factors of business in big way. There are basic needs in rural development for a sustainable future. Rural development is all about a process that seeks social change and sustainable economic development for the rural community´s ongoing progress. The goal is to improve their life quality and preserve the environment. Rural agriculture development is a topic which is easy to understand but hard to implement. It focuses upon the up-lift meant and development of the sections of rural economies, that experience grave poverty issues and effectively aims at developing their productivity. It also emphasizes the need to address various pressing issues of village economies that hinder growth and improve these areas. The basic aim of the paper is to analyze the conditions of rural agriculture with its economy and to study the issues & challenges of the villages.     Corruption and Ethical Issues in Law Enforcement in Nigeria: A Theoretical Experience

    Nigerian development problem is partly linked to corruption, which begets malnutrition, illiteracy, poverty, unemployment, ethnicity, banditry, hunger and infrastructural decay. It is a social problem that bedevils proper law enforcement in Nigeria. Due to the alleged and proven numerous corrupt practices across the country from 2015-2020, this paper provides an overview of ethical issues in law enforcement in Nigeria. It ascertain the relationship between corruption, ethical issues, and law enforcement in Nigeria, and the effectiveness of anti-corruption crusade in Nigeria. Three (3) theories were used in explaining the study namely: Social Learning Theory (SLT), Social Disorganization Theory (SDT) and Corruption Permissiveness Theory (CPT), but we adopted the latter. The study adopted a qualitative design. The major sources of data collection were secondary sources which include, journal publications, textbooks, government publications and newspapers. The secondary data collected were thoroughly subjected to content analysis

    Student Teachers’ Attitude towards Teaching Practice

    The study was guided by three research questions and two hypotheses. The survey design was adopted for the study. A sample of 163 student teachers constituted the study. A questionnaire tagged Student Teachers Attitude Questionnaire (STAQ) was used to collect data on the attitude of student teachers while performance of student teachers were secondary data obtained from teaching practice coordinator of the Institute of Education. The data collected were analysed using weighted mean, mean and standard deviation, analysis of variance (ANOVA) and t-test statistics. The result indicated that on the overall, student teachers had negative attitude towards teaching practice. The result also indicated a significant difference in performance of student teachers’ based on their attitude while a non-significant difference existed between male and female student teachers given their attitude. In view of this, it was recommended that the University of Uyo should ensure that all student teachers are properly groomed in all teaching and pedagogy courses before proceeding on teaching practice
