Get PDFBackground: The imbalance of food intake with physical activity caused lack of movement with the risk of increasing body mass index. The higher the body mass index, the higher the impact on balance and an increased risk of falling. The good balance was very useful to achieve the efficient and effective body mobility and make daily activities easier. In addition to dynamic balance, the static balance was also distributed in the body balance as a whole. There were many activities of twelfth grade students in Islamic Boarding School of Darul Qur'an, especially sitting and standing activities. Hence, a good static balance was needed to support these activities. Objective: This study aimed to find out the relationship between body mass index and static balance among twelfth grade students in Islamic Boarding School of Darul Qur'an Deli Serdang. Method: The study design was observational analytic with cross-sectional approach. The determination of sample used the total sampling with a sample of 70 people. The measurement of body mass index was obtained from weight and height of the respondents and static balance was obtained from Standing Stork Test. Result: The result of Pearson correlation was p-value=0,000 (p<0,05). Conclusion: There was a relationship between body mass index and static balance among twelfth grade students in Islamic Boarding School of Darul Qur'an Deli Serdang

Get PDFBackground: Counseling is an activity that teaches something or a new ability, gives knowledge or information to the community so that their attitudes and behavior are shaped according to what they should be. To change people's perceptions, an education is needed. Perception is a person's response to something according to his understanding.This study aims to describe the role of counseling as an effort to change people's perceptions of tartar cleaning actions in Dusun I Teladan Village of Adolina Kecamatan Perbaungan Perbaungan Subdistrict. The study was a descriptive study with a survey method and examined 30 samples.Through the research, it was known that the public perception of tartar cleaning was as follows: beforethe counseling 7 people (23.3%) were in good criteria, 22 people (73.3%) in moderate criteria and 1 person (3.3%) in poor criteria, but after the counseling about scaling, 30 people (100%) were in good criteria. This study concluded that counseling played a role in changing one's perception of tartar cleaning

Get PDFThis study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy and interpersonal communication on team collaboration at the Medan City Tax and Retribution Management Agency partially. This is to find out whether organizational support moderates the effect of self-efficacy and interpersonal communication on improving agency performance in the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency. The total population in this study amounted to 249 people, and using the Slovin formula obtained a sample of 153 people. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that self-efficacy had a significant effect on the performance of agencies in the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency. Interpersonal communication has a significant effect on the performance of agencies in the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency. Self-efficacy has no effect on teamwork at the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency. Interpersonal communication has a significant effect on teamwork at the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency. Teamwork has no effect on the performance of agencies in the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency

The main purpose of a management information system is to collect and organize all data from different levels of regional owned enterprises, for decision making to increase the productivity and profitability of computer-based local-owned enterprises and can be in the form of excel sheets or more complex platforms. In addition, data can be accessed and processed internally and externally. Thus, the information system used is more efficient and productive. This research was conducted on 132 related sub-units of regional-owned enterprises using descriptive and explanatory uses, while for sampling using the SEM Lisrel cluster technique. Get PDFLanjut Usia (Lansia) sangat rentan terhadap masalah kesehatan. Masalah kesehatan ini dianggap tidak penting oleh keluarga lansia, banyak keluarga lansia tidak mau membawa lansia ke posyandu lansia yang ada di desa Sukasari Kecamatan Pegajahan, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Posyandu lansia rata-rata dihadiri oleh lansia sebanyak 72 orang setiap bulannya. Lansia memiliki masalah gangguan fisik dan membutuhkan lebih banyak perawatan. Pengabdian ini akan memberikan sinar infra merah dan tens kepada lansia. in Metode yang dilakukan dengan melakukan penyuluhan, pelatihan tentang penggunaan infrared dan tens untuk lansia, kader dan keluarga yang mengikuti posyandu lansia. Pemberian sinar infrared dan tens sangat memberikan dampak yang sangat signifikan dalam meningkatkan status kesehatan lansia ditandai dengan berkurangnya gangguan fisik yang dialami lansia di Desa Sukasari Kecamatan Pegajahan Kabupaten Deli Serdang.

Ketersediaan pelayanan di rumah sakit sebagai kebutuhan di bidang kesehatan sangat bervariasi di setiap negara dan ketersediaan pelayanan kesehatan tersebut ditentukan oleh kondisi sosial dan ekonomi. Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh sikap caring Perawat terhadap kepuasan pelayanan pasien rawat inap A di RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan bentuk survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional . Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien rawat inap ruang RINDU A RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan, dimana rata-rata perbulan sebanyak 1.125 pasien. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dengan tehnik purposive sampling, yaitu pengambilan sampel yang didasarkan pada suatu pertimbangan tertentu yang dibuat oleh peneliti sendiri berdasarkan ciri populasi yang sudah diketahui sebelumnya. Ciri atau sifat tersebut ialah berdasarkan pada lamanya rawat inap yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi yang telah ditetapkan, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 196 responden.Hasil. Nilai F hitung sebesar 39.883 dengan tingkat signifikansi < 0.05 yaitu sebesar 0.000, atau dapat dilihat dari nilai t hitung sebesar 6.315 dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.005. Kesimpulan ada pengaruh sikap caring berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pasien

Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 65 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 35 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan Teknik purpose sampling. Hasil. Analisis hubungan kemampuan fungsional dengan kualitas hidup domain lingkungan P value 0,000, kemampuan fungsi dengan kualitas hidup domain fisik Pvalue 0,002, dukungan keluarga dengan kualitas hidup domain hubungan sosial P value = 0,000.
