    The fishing aid program has not been met according to the needs and empowerment of the Lhok Panga fishing community in Panga District, Aceh Jaya Regency through the development of fishing has not been implemented properly, so that traditional community empowerment activities do not have knowledge of fishing, let alone skills, so that the quality of traditional fishermen has not been optimally changed. Based on these problems, the researchers in this study formulated the following problem formulations: a) what is the impact of the implementation of the fishing aid program for fishermen in Lhok Panga, Panga District, Aceh Jaya Regency? b) how is the empowerment of fishing communities through the development of fishing in Lhok Panga, Panga District, Aceh Jaya Regency. To conduct research on the problem, the researcher used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Then, to support this research, the researcher used concepts and theories, namely; the concept of impact, procedures for providing assistance, community empowerment, public policy theory, and the concept of implementing public policy. The technique for obtaining data by researchers used interviews and observations. The results of the study showed that the fishing community in Lhok Panga still believed in hereditary regulations regarding weather and fishing seasons when going to sea. However, after counseling and assistance for fishing facilities were provided by the government, only a few fishermen went to sea according to the new rules, and this had an impact on fish catch income, there was a change in the results. Then the researcher suggested to the government that there should be continuity in both counseling and assistance for fishing facilities that were in accordance with the aspirations of the fishing community.Program bantuan sarana perikanan tangkap belum terpenuhi sesuai kebutuhan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat nelayan Lhok Panga Kecamatan Panga Kabupaten Aceh Jaya melalui pengembangan perikanan tangkap belum terlaksana dengan baik, sehingga kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat tradisional belum memiiki pengetahuan terhadap perikanan tangkap apalagi keterampilan sehinggta kualitas nelayan tradisional belum optimal perubahannya. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka peneliti dalam penelitian ini merumuskan rumusan masalah sebagai berikut: a) bagaimana dampak implementasi program bantuan sarana perikanan tangkap nelayan di Lhok Panga Kecamatan Panga Kabupaten Aceh Jaya? b) bagaimana pemberdayaan masyarakat nelayan melalui pengembangan perikanan tangkap di Lhok Panga Kecamatan Panga Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Untuk melakukan penelitian terhadap permasalan tersebut peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif pendekatan pada deskriptif. Kemudian untuk mendukung penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan konsep dan teori yaitu; konsep dampak, prosedur pemberian bantuan, pemberdayaan masyarakat, teori kebijakan publik, dan konsep implementasi kebijakan publik. Teknik mendapat data peneliti menggunakan wawancara dan observasi. Dari penelitian hasil menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat nelayan di Lhok Panga dalam ketika melaut masih percaya pada peraturan turun temurun baik terhadap cuaca dan musim ikan.Namun setelah penyuluhan dan bantuan sarana perikanan tangkap diberikan pemerintah baru sebagian nelayan turut melakukan melaut sesuai aturan baru, dan berdampak pada pendapatan ikan tangkap ada perubahan hasilnya. Kemudian peneliti menyarankan kepada pemerintah adanya keberlanjuta baik penyuluhan dan bantuan sarana perikanan tangkap yang sesuai dengan aspirasi masyarakat nelayan

    This study aims to determine the social welfare services to patients at the Blood For Life Foundation (BFLF) Shelter, and to determine the obstacles faced by the Blood For Life Foundation (BFLF) Shelter in Gampong Bandar Baru, Kuta Alam District, Banda Aceh City in providing social welfare services to patients. Researchers in conducting this study used a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive research type where data acquisition used observation, interview and documentation techniques. Informants in this study were 1 person as the Head, 1 person as the Admin, 3 people as the Patients and 2 people as the Families of the BFLF Banda Aceh Shelter. The results of the study show that the BFLF Banda Aceh Shelter provides comprehensive services, including physical assistance (housing, food), emotional, social, spiritual, and educational to support patient recovery. As a social facility, this shelter helps underprivileged patients and families, especially from outside the city, with a humanistic approach that is a source of hope and strength. However, there are challenges pre-treatment (limited funding, volunteers, and facility capacity) and post-treatment (patient stay, funding, facilities, vehicles, and volunteers). Nevertheless, with the support of donors and volunteers, the shelter remains committed to providing the best, consistent, and humane service to patients, especially those from remote areas

    Rancang Bangun Blower Otomatis Berbasis Sensor DHT11 untuk Efisiensi Pembakaran Gula Merah

    Pada proses produksi gula merah secara tradisional, pembakaran yang kurang efisien sering menyebabkan konsumsi kayu bakar berlebih dan waktu pemasakan yang lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem blower otomatis yang dapat mengoptimalkan pembakaran menggunakan sensor suhu DHT11, Arduino Uno, dan relay. Blower bekerja secara otomatis berdasarkan pembacaan suhu secara real-time, memberikan suplai udara yang konsisten untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pembakaran. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem mampu mengurangi konsumsi kayu bakar sebesar 20% dan waktu pemasakan sebesar 20% dibandingkan metode manual. Akurasi sensor DHT11 mencapai 99,386% dengan rata-rata tingkat kesalahan hanya 0,614%. Penerapan sistem ini memberikan manfaat praktis bagi pabrik gula merah skala kecil, seperti menurunkan biaya operasional, meningkatkan efisiensi energi, dan memperbaiki kualitas produk

    Tingginya kadar amonia serta fluktuasi suhu dan kelembapan menjadi tantangan utama dalam manajemen kandang ayam secara konvensional. Studi ini merancang sebuah sistem monitoring berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) sebagai solusi pemantauan kondisi lingkungan secara real-time. Melalui pendekatan model ADDIE, dikembangkan prototipe fungsional yang mengintegrasikan mikrokontroler ESP32 dengan sensor DHT22 serta MQ-135 untuk menggerakkan exhaust fan via relay. Berdasarkan pengujian pada populasi 30 ekor ayam dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, sistem menunjukkan stabilitas operasional yang tinggi. Data parameter lingkungan tersaji secara akurat pada panel OLED dan platform Blynk. Fitur otomasi exhaust fan terbukti teraktivasi secara presisi saat konsentrasi NH3 melampaui ambang batas 1.0 ppm, disertai pengiriman peringatan dini melalui Telegram BOT. Implementasi teknologi IoT ini menawarkan efektivitas dalam pengendalian mikroklimat kandang, khususnya bagi sektor peternakan skala kecil dan menengah

    Kemiskinan masyarakat pesisir disebabkan oleh tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan akan pangan, kesehatan, pendidikan, pekerjaan, infrastruktur. Pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup dalam keluarga nelayan tidak akan pernah tercukupi apabila hanya mengandalkan pekerjaan pokok saja. Gambaran kondisi seperti ini akhirnya membuat ibu rumah tangga yang sebelumnya hanya menjalankan peran reproduktif dan peran sosial, terjun dalam sektor produktif yang menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga. Perempuan yang memiliki potensi besar untuk mendukung perekonomian keluarga sering kali tidak mendapatkan dukungan yang cukup untuk mengoptimalkan perannya. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Desa Ujong Blang Kecamatan Banda Sakti Kota Lhokseumawe. Perempuan di desa Ujong Blang didekat pesisir kebanyakan berperan ganda selain menjadi ibu rumah tangga juga berdagang tiram sayangnya kebanyakan para perempuan hanya fokus terhadap pendapatannya sehingga limbah cangkang tiram kurang diperhatikan dan dibuang disekitar kediamannya yang menimbulkan limbah cangkang tiram berserakan yang dapat merusak lingkungan dan visual lingkungan karena menjadi kumuh. Perempuan memiliki potensi besar untuk berkontribusi dalam ekonomi keluarga melalui pemanfaatan limbah cangkang tiram, yang selama ini dianggap tidak berguna. Dengan pengelolaan yang tepat, limbah tersebut dapat diubah menjadi produk bernilai jual tinggi seperti kerajinan tangan untuk membuka peluang baru dalam meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan studi pustaka, obsevasi dan wawancara. Data yang di dapat di lapangan di analisis oleh peneliti yang di deskripsikan dengan pendekatan kualitatif.     Gedung Lama DPRK Aceh Utara yang terletak di Lhokseumawe, Provinsi Aceh. Tergerusnya penerapan elemen-elemen arsitektur lokal dalam pembangunan gedung pemerintahan modern jadi fenomena yang perlu dikaji secara mendalam. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus, yang memungkinkan penelusuran mendalam terhadap nilai-nilai budaya yang terintegrasi dalam elemen bangunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gedung Lama DPRK Aceh Utara masih mempertahankan berbagai elemen khas arsitektur tradisional Aceh seperti atap tumpang, struktur rumah panggung, kolong rumah, serta ornamen geometris dan flora yang memiliki makna simbolik mendalam. Temuan ini mengungkapkan bahwa elemen-elemen tersebut tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai estetika visual, tetapi juga sebagai ekspresi identitas budaya dan simbol kekuasaan lokal. Meskipun bangunan mengalami kerusakan fisik, nilai-nilai simbolik tetap kuat dalam persepsi masyarakat. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman bahwa arsitektur vernakular masih relevan dalam konteks institusional modern. Implikasi praktisnya adalah perlunya strategi pelestarian arsitektur berbasis lokalitas dalam kebijakan pembangunan, serta pentingnya restorasi konservatif terhadap bangunan bersejarah

    The Krisbow VDL-1000 CNC machine at SMK STMI Banda Aceh experienced a cooling system failure due to coolant leakage from the Walrus TPH 2T 3K multistage centrifugal pump. The leakage occurred at the flange connection between the motor and pump body, causing pressure drop and coolant flow stoppage. This study aims to document the repair procedure and develop a daily maintenance log template based on SKKNI, specifically units IMG.PM02.008.01 (Performing Machine Repair) and IMG.PM02.007.01 (Planning Machine Maintenance). The methodology includes field observation, technical manual analysis of Walrus pumps, and implementation of repair procedures using non-asbestos gasket replacement. Results show that adding a 1.5 mm non-asbestos gasket completely stopped the leakage. The developed journal template includes daily checklist, repair actions, result verification, and K3LL documentation, making it suitable for operational guidance in vocational schools and industry, as well as evidence of student and teacher competency

    Composite steel-concrete structures are widely applied in modern construction due to their material efficiency, high strength-to-weight ratio, and reliable structural performance. As design demand evolve, the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) continues to be updated to enhance safety and consistency in structural design. One significant revision occurred in SNI 1729:2020, which replaced SNI 1729:2015 and introduced changes in material strength provisions, strength-reduction factors, and flexural capacity calculations for composite members. However, quantitative studies examining the impact of these updates remain limited. This study aims to analyze and compare the flexural capacity of composite beams based on manual calculations following SNI 1729:2015 and SNI 1729:2020. Several types of steel girders with variations in span length and slab thickness were evaluated. The results indicate a very high level of equivalence between the nominal and factored flexural capacities obtained from both standards. All girder types produced identical values, demonstrating that no difference exists in the level of conservatism in estimating the flexural capacity of composite elements. Nevertheless, the use of SNI 1729:2020 is recommended due to its improved structure, alignment with the international standard ASIC 360-16, and harmonization with other updated SNI provisions, which collectively enhance the reliability of steel structural design in Indonesi

    This study compares the structural performance of precast construction and conventional construction methods in a 4-stories flats building in Surabaya. The results show clear differences in the forces acting on the structural elements. Precast elements have shear forces that are 21% lower than those in the conventional method and moments that are 25% lower than those in the conventional method, indicating different responses to lateral loads. Although both methods use similar reinforcement designs, precast elements need extra reinforcement for lifting during installation. The drift analysis on the second floor also shows differences: the precast structure has 21% less than those in the conventional method drift the x-direction and 21% less than those in the conventional method the y-direction due to changes in overall stiffness

    Microcontroller – Based H2S Detector Using MQ136 and SMS Gateway

    Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) is a toxic gas that can endanger humans at high levels. Therefore, developing an H2S gas detector is crucial for environmental safety and human health. This study developed an H2S gas detection device using Arduino that provides notifications via SMS. The device uses an MQ-136 gas sensor as the main component to detect H2S gas concentration in the air. The Arduino Uno microcontroller processes data from the sensor and displays gas concentration on a 20x4 LCD screen. For easy information dissemination, the SIM900A module sends SMS notifications every minute and when there is a change in gas concentration. Sensor calibration techniques were implemented to ensure optimal H2S gas accuracy, with field tests showing an error rate of 0.21% for the MQ-136 sensor readings. The device is also equipped with a buzzer and a rotary light; the buzzer and rotary light activate when gas concentrations exceed 30 ppm, while the rotary light operates when H2S concentrations are between 10-30 ppm. This system ensures safe conditions in areas with H2S gas presence. Testing involved simulating H2S gas exposure at various concentrations to assess the detector's responsiveness. Results show the developed device effectively detects H2S gas. This microcontroller-based H2S gas detector with SMS gateway is expected to be widely used in industries and environments for safety and air quality
