    Karakteristik Pasien Luka Bakar di RSU Haji Medan Periode 2022-2024

    This study aims to describe the characteristics of burn patients treated at Medan Haji Hospital from 2022 to 2024. Data were collected from medical records, covering age, gender, cause of burn, degree of burn, and burn area. The results showed that the age group 12-16 years had the highest incidence of burns (36.1%), with females (52.8%) being more affected. The main cause of burns was fire (51.1%), followed by hot water (21.7%), electricity (16.1%), and chemicals (11.1%). Most of the burns were classified as degree II B (35.6%) and degree II A (33.9%). The majority of burn cases had an area of more than 10% of the body, with 43.3% having an area larger than 20%. The study also found a significant relationship between the cause of the burn and the degree and size of the burn. These findings provide essential information to enhance burn prevention and treatment efforts, especially for vulnerable age groups and common causes

    Implementasi Kepemimpinan Transformasional Bagi Pengembangan Mutu di Pesantren Tahfidz An-Naba Banyumas

    Secara rinci penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan implementasi kepemimpinan transformasional dan dampaknya terhadap pengembangan mutu pada Pesantren Tahfidz An-Naba Banyumas. Latar belakang penelitian diawali dengan urgensi peran pemimpin pesantren dalam menghadapi tuntutan pembelajaran tahfidz, bahasa arab, penguatan karakter, dan pengembangan kompetensi di era digital. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan mudir, ustaz, karyawan, musyrif, dan santri sebagai partisipannya. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif dan dokumentasi. Kemudian, data dianalisis dengan model Miles & Huberman melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional diterapkan melalui empat dimensi utama. Pada aspek idealized influence, mudir menjadi teladan dalam kedisiplinan, amanah, ibadah, dan penggunaan fasilitas pesantren. Pada aspek inspirational motivation, pemimpin aktif menyampaikan visi, memberikan arahan, serta menumbuhkan motivasi ustaz dan santri. Pada aspek intellectual stimulation, mudir mendorong inovasi pembelajaran, program pengembangan, dan pembenahan sistem administrasi. Pada aspek individualized consideration, pemimpin memberikan perhatian personal melalui mentoring, kunjungan individual, fasilitasi pelatihan, serta dukungan terhadap kesejahteraan staf dan santri. Secara keseluruhan, kepemimpinan transformasional terbukti mendorong budaya disiplin, profesionalisme pendidik, kualitas pembelajaran tahfidz dan bahasa Arab, serta iklim kerja kolaboratif yang berdampak positif pada mutu pesantren. Ke depan, penelitian dapat diperluas pada konteks pesantren lain untuk memetakan variasi strategi kepemimpinan yang lebih komprehensif

    Gambaran Hasil Ct-Scan Non Kontras pada Pasien dengan Klinis Nefrolitiasis di RSU Royal Prima Medan

    Nefrolitiasis merupakan salah satu gangguan saluran kemih yang paling sering ditemukan dan ditandai dengan pembentukan batu pada sistem urinarius. Pemeriksaan CT-Scan non kontras saat ini menjadi modalitas pencitraan yang paling akurat dalam menilai karakteristik batu ginjal, termasuk ukuran, lokasi, dan densitasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan hasil CT-Scan non kontras pada pasien dengan klinis nefrolitiasis di RSU Royal Prima Medan. Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif retrospektif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Data diperoleh dari rekam medis pasien yang menjalani pemeriksaan CT-Scan non kontras selama Januari–Desember 2024. Total sampel berjumlah 35 pasien yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas pasien berjenis kelamin laki-laki yaitu 24 orang (68,6%), sedangkan perempuan sebanyak 11 orang (31,4%). Berdasarkan kelompok usia, penderita terbanyak berada pada rentang usia 51–60 tahun, yaitu 17 pasien (48,6%). Karakteristik batu ginjal berdasarkan ukuran menunjukkan bahwa kelompok ukuran 5–10 mm dan 10–20 mm merupakan yang paling dominan, masing-masing 11 pasien (31,4%). Berdasarkan letak batu, kaliks menjadi lokasi tersering (42,9%), diikuti ureter (28,6%) dan pelvis (22,9%). Sementara itu, densitas batu terbanyak berada pada kategori <450 HU, yaitu 17 pasien (48,6%), yang mengindikasikan kecenderungan batu dengan densitas rendah. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa CT-Scan non kontras merupakan alat diagnostik yang efektif untuk menilai gambaran batu ginjal secara komprehensif. Informasi mengenai ukuran, densitas, dan lokasi batu sangat penting untuk menentukan rencana terapi yang tepat serta memprediksi keberhasilan metode penatalaksanaan seperti ESWL maupun tindakan intervensi lainnya. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi tata laksana klinis, khususnya dalam pemilihan modalitas terapi yang sesuai berdasarkan karakteristik batu yang teridentifikasi

    Uji Aktivitas Anti-Bakteri Ekstrak Etanol Daun Ashitaba (Angelica Keiskei) Terhadap Bakteri Acinetobacter Baumannii dan Klebsiella Pneumoniae

    Masalah resistensi antibiotik yang semakin meningkat, terutama pada infeksi nosokomial, telah menjadi masalah kesehatan global yang signifikan. Acinetobacter baumannii dan Klebsiella pneumoniae termasuk di antara patogen paling berbahaya yang berkontribusi pada resistensi ini, sehingga infeksi yang disebabkan oleh bakteri ini sulit diobati. Penelitian ini menyelidiki ekstrak etanol Ashitaba (Angelica keiskei), tanaman obat yang dikenal memiliki sifat antioksidan, antiinflamasi, dan antibakteri, sebagai agen antibakteri alternatif potensial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas antibakteri ekstrak etanol Ashitaba terhadap patogen resisten seperti Acinetobacter baumannii dan Klebsiella pneumoniae. Potensi antibakteri diuji menggunakan metode difusi cakram (Kirby–Bauer) untuk mengukur diameter zona hambat pertumbuhan Acinetobacter baumannii dan Klebsiella pneumoniae pada berbagai konsentrasi ekstrak. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan berharga tentang potensi Ashitaba sebagai sumber alami agen antibakteri, menawarkan alternatif bagi antibiotik konvensional dalam mengobati infeksi bakteri resisten

    The Effect of Ice Breaking Activities on Vocabulary Mastery Among EFL Students’ at SMA NU Palangka Raya

    Mastering vocabulary is indispensable for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners, as it underpins all language skills. However, many students continue to face difficulties in retaining and applying new vocabulary effectively. Prior studies have explored various strategies, yet few have examined the effect of engaging, student-centered techniques such as ice-breaking activities on vocabulary mastery among twelfth-grade EFL students at SMA NU Palangka Raya. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design, the researcher involved one experimental group and one control group, each undergoing pre-tests and post-tests to assess vocabulary mastery. The results showed that students in the experimental group demonstrated greater improvement than those in the control group, with post-test mean scores of 84.17 and 69.62, respectively (t(23) = 3.884, p < .001), indicating a statistically significant difference. These findings highlight the potential of ice-breaking activities to enhance vocabulary mastery by increasing student motivation, reducing anxiety, and encouraging active participation in learning. The study has important implications for educational practice, suggesting that ice-breaking activities should be integrated into regular EFL instruction as a pedagogical strategy rather than merely as warm-up exercises. Furthermore, these findings can inform teacher training programs and curriculum development policies aimed at creating more engaging and effective language learning environments in Indonesian secondary schools

    Negara, Akreditasi, Dan Hak Atas Pendidikan: Reorientasi Kebijakan Akreditasi Pendidikan Tinggi Di Indonesia

    This research examines the legal issues surrounding the authority of the Independent Accreditation Agency (Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri, LAM) in accrediting Study Programs (PS) within higher education institutions, as regulated in Article 55 paragraph (5) of Law No. 12 of 2012 on Higher Education. This provision creates a dualism of authority with the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), resulting in a fragmented quality assurance system. The delegation of accreditation authority to LAM without a standardized legal framework potentially obscures the role of the state in ensuring educational quality and generates legal uncertainty, inconsistent standards, and inequality among institutions. This research employs a normative legal method, utilizing statutory and conceptual approaches to analyze the relationship between positive legal norms, scholarly doctrines, and the state’s responsibility in organizing education as a public good. The findings indicate that the legal framework governing LAM contradicts fundamental principles of the rule of law, including substantive justice, equal rights, and public accountability. Education is a constitutional right of every citizen, and its implementation must remain under full state control as a manifestation of the protection and fulfillment of human rights. Therefore, the higher education accreditation system must be integrated under state authority to ensure consistency, quality, and legal certainty in the governance of higher education in Indonesia

    The purpose of discussing the implementation of organic waste management policies in South Tangerang is to see the implementation of waste disposal policies managed by the Environmental Service successfully become something that is beneficial to society and the state. The empirical condition of the waste problem is a social phenomenon that until now has not been able to be resolved completely by the Indonesian Government. The population is increasing day by day. The increasing population of people in urban areas makes settlements in each area become dense, so that the availability of land / settlements to fulfill people's residences is decreasing. Waste problems are still in the spotlight and almost all Tangerang Selatan cities experience problems in waste management. Especially in urban areas, managing urban waste can be said to be fairly difficult and has many challenges in its management. The larger the area of an urban area, the more waste will be generated so that management is more difficult.  Waste management policies, especially food waste, can provide legal certainty in planning and utilization for the government, entrepreneurs, waste pickers, waste banks, communities, and the public. Policies in the form of programs to increase the role of the community by using the 3 R concept (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) are needed. Innovations continue to be developed where the main focus is to reduce waste and turn waste into renewable energy. Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2018 concerning the acceleration of the construction of waste processing installations into electrical energy based on environmentally friendly technology. a. that in order to increase the resilience of cities in maintaining public health and environmental quality, and to make waste a resource as mandated in Article 4 of Law Number 18 of 2008 concerning Waste Management, as well as to significantly reduce the volume of waste for the sake of cleanliness and beauty of the city, it is deemed necessary to accelerate the construction of Waste Processing installations into Electrical Energy Based on Environmentally Friendly Technology in certain provinces and districts / cities; b. that based on the considerations referred to in letter a, it is necessary to establish a presidential regulation concerning the Acceleration of the Construction of Waste Processing Installations into Electrical Energy Based on Environmentally Friendly technology.

    Hubungan Family Well-Being dengan Subjective Well-Being pada Generasi Alpha

    Generasi alpha lahir pada era kemajuan teknologi yang sangat pesat membuat generasi ini menjadi sangat terikat pada teknologi dan individualis. Hal ini menyebabkan mereka menjadi terisolasi secara sosial dan berdampak pada rendahnya subjective well-being. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi subjective well-being adalah family well-being. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara family well-being dengan subjective well-being pada generasi alpha. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan strategi purposive sampling. Jumlah responden yang diperoleh sebanyak 397 remaja yang merupakan siswa dan siswi aktif sekolah menengah pertama di Yogyakarta yang berusia 11-14 tahun. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Children’s World Subjective Well-Being Scale (α = 0.955) dan Family Well-Being Scale (α = 0.923). Pendekatan korelasi product-moment pearson digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebagai uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian terhadap hipotesis menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan kearah positif antara family well-being dengan subjective well-being pada generasi alpha. Sumbangan efektif variabel family well-being sebesar 5,3% dan sisanya 94,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar penelitian

    This study explores the concepts of ontology and epistemology of meaning in the Arabic language through the lens of the philosophy of language, highlighting the relationship between the existence of meaning, the process of its formation, and how it is understood. The primary issue addressed is how meaning in Arabic is influenced by the ontological and epistemological structures inherent in the language, particularly in relation to its use across various social, cultural, and historical contexts. The study aims to identify and analyze the philosophical foundations that shape meaning in Arabic and to examine how meaning is understood and represented through linguistic symbols. The method used in this research is the literature review method. The findings indicate that meaning in Arabic is characterized by complexity, involving the interaction between symbols, concepts, and reality, and is significantly influenced by cultural and social factors. Furthermore, meaning in Arabic exhibits a dynamic dimension, continually evolving with changes in its contextual usage. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of understanding the ontology and epistemology of meaning in Arabic to provide a deeper insight into the relationship between language, thought, and reality, which is not only relevant in linguistic studies but also in the fields of philosophy, literature, and cultural studies

    Pengembangan Modul Berbantuan Aplikasi Desmos Dan Penerapannya Dalam Pembelajaran Pbm Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Dan Representasi Matematis Siswa Kelas Ix

    This study aims to develop a Desmos-assisted module and implement it through Problem-Based Learning (PBM) to improve the mathematical communication and representation skills of ninth-grade students. The research employed the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Validation by three experts resulted in an average validity score of 90.42%, indicating that the module is highly valid. Student response questionnaires yielded an average score of 4.03 out of 5, suggesting that the module is practical to use. Student improvement was measured through pretests and posttests. The average pretest scores for communication and representation skills were 66.93 and 63.41, respectively, which increased to 92.39 and 90.72 in the posttest. The N-Gain score of 0.78 indicates a high level of improvement. These results show that using the Desmos-assisted module in PBM is effective in enhancing students’ mathematical communication and representation skills. Therefore, the developed module is feasible for use in mathematics learning at the ninth-grade level
