PENERAPAN DATA MINING DAN ALGORITMA NAÏVE BAYES UNTUK PEMILIHAN KONSENTRASI MAHASISWA MENGGUNAKAN METODE KLASIFIKASI
Get PDFPemilihan konsentrasi atau minat studi merupakan hal yang tidak mudah dilakukan oleh seorang mahasiswa pada sebuah jurusan di Perguruan Tinggi. Mahasiswa akan berupaya memilih konsentrasi yang menurut mereka paling tepat dan sesuai dengan kompetensi dan minat studi, karena konsentrasi yang dipilih akan mempengaruhi minat belajar, prestasi, lama studi dan juga berpengaruh terhadap Indeks Prestasi Akademik (IPK) mahasiswa. Pentingnya memilih sebuah konsentrasi penjurusan bagi mahasiswa pada Institusi Perguruan Tinggi, maka perlu dibangun suatu model yang dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam memilih konsentrasi sesuai dengan kompetensi dan minat studi mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, peneliti akan melakukan penelitian dengan membuat sistem untuk pemilihan konsentrasi mahasiswa menggunakan algoritma Naïve Bayes dengan metode klasifikasi. Untuk membantu dalam mengambil keputusan pemilihan konsentrasi, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik data mining sebagai proses pencarian pola yang diinginkan dalam sebuah database yang besar. Hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan terhadap sample dataset sebanyak 1534 data menggunakan Algoritma Naïve Bayes, diperoleh bahwa hasil prediksi untuk menentukan konsentrasi memiliki nilai akurasi sebesar 84.27%. Variabel berpengaruh terhadap tingkat akurasi yang di hasilkan. Ukuran variabel yang sempit atau sedikit menyebabkan hasil akurasi yang kurang baik, tetapi ukuran variabel yang luas dapat menghasilkan akurasi ouput yang lebih optima
Sistem Informasi Early Warning System berbasis Website
Get PDFSistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) yaitu merupakan pengolahan data informasi Geografis melalui sistem. EWS (Early Warning System) atau Peringatan Kebencanaan Dini merupakan penanda atau peringatan saat terjadinya bencana. Saat ini EWS masih dioperasikan dengan cara manual, hal itu menimbulkan ke tidak efisien an, dan tidak keakuratan data yang diberikan kepada masyakarat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sebuah sistem informasi geografis dengan tampilan data spasial yang berisi lokasi daerah-daerah yang sudah dipasang EWS.
Kabupaten Sleman adalah daerah yang rawan akan erupsi Gunung Merapi, karena terletak di selatan kaki Gunung Merapi. Pembuatan Early Warning System oleh BPBD Sleman bertujuan untuk alat pemantauan aktivitas Gunung Merapi serta Sirine atau pengeras suara sebagai tanda peringatan bencana. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan melakukan penelitian dan pengembangan. Cara kerja Sistem Informasi ini adalah dengan menampilkan peta lokasi EWS yang telah diolah. Titik Lokasi EWS tersebut di hubungkan ke menu operasi pembunyian sirine EWS tersebut. Selain pengeoperasian EWS, terdapat informasi lain mengenai kebencaan yang akan diambil dari data BPBD yang sudah ada. Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan adalah sebuah web sistem informasi geografis EWS menggunakan peta lokasi kebencanaan, yang mempermudah pengguna web untuk mengetahui letak-letak daerah yang telah terpasang EWS, dimana didalamnya juga terdapat informasi mengenai kebencanaan
Identity and Sense Belonging of the Indonesian Jewish Communities
No full textIndonesian Jewish communities rarely appear in academic or scientific research. Some existing articles are about Jewish community in other countries or other minorities in Indonesia. This article is aimed to answer the question: “How is the identity and the sense of belonging of Indonesian Jewish Community, to Indonesia or to Israel? In this research, qualitative method is used to examine the issue. The approaches for this research are the concept of identity by Patricia Goff and Kevin Dunn and the Asabiyyah concept by Ibn Khaldun. The finding of this research is the fact that Indonesian Jewish community have a strong relationship and sense of belonging to Indonesia and identify themselves more as an Indonesian. Indonesian Jewish community had contributed to Indonesia’s nation building in the past during the participation of war of independence. And furthermore, with more understanding on the community, the community can take part in building the Indonesian nation in the future

Get PDFBerdasarkan Surat Edaran Nomor 4 Tahun 2020 tentang Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Dalam Masa Darurat Covid-19, seluruh pelaksanaan kebijakan pendidikan dilakukan secara daring mulai dari kalangan sekolah dasar sampai dengan perguruan tinggi. Pembelajaran daring memiliki kendala seperti masih banyaknya wilayah yang belum terjangkau jaringan internet, kuota internet terbatas, media pembelajaran yang monoton dengan minimnya interaktif yang menyebabkan siswa jenuh dan masih banyak lagi. Berdasarkan uraian permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bermaksud membangun aplikasi pembelajaran sebagai alternative siswa dalam belajar Bahasa inggris. Berdasarkan hasil survey EF English Proficiency Index edisi tahun 2020 menyatakan tingkat kecakapan bahasa inggris di Indonesia masih sangat rendah dengan mendapatkan peringkat 74 dari 100 negara. Sehingga pentingnya pendidikan bahasa inggris untuk dikenalkan sejak dini ke anak, Penelitian ini menggunakan framework Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) dan di evaluasi menggunakan pengujian alpha testing dan beta testing.

Diversifikasi Konten Tonight Show dan Regulasi yang Berlaku Pada Media Massa (NET TV) dan Media Online (Youtube)
No full textThe Tonight Show is a talk show program that has been broadcast on NET TV since 2013. Recently, NET TV made a new strategy for the Tonight Show program by creating a new program that is only broadcast on the Youtube platform only. The purpose of this study is to explain the content diversification strategy carried out by NET TV using Mosco\u27s political economy theory, with a descriptive comparative study method. This study also compares the regulation of television media with Youtube media when one program is broadcast on two different platforms, which also have very different content. The findings of this study are that NET TV\u27s strategy to diversify content is quite successful, as seen from the high subscriber of the TonightShowNET Youtube channel when the Tonight Show Premiere was first broadcast, and the number of viewers who continued to rise when the special was uploaded. Another finding is that Youtube already has regulations for users and creators who do violate the rules, but when compared to P3SPS which has been compiled by KPI, the viewing standards on Youtube are still not appropriate

The primary value of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the image or reputation of the company. Implementation of CSR by lia s. Associates to date have used Instagram social media to communicate about CSR. Digital technology easily communicates CSR to stakeholders and consumers through social media. This research uses quantitative methods with an associative approach, namely research that asks about the relationship between two or more variables. The theory of research used in this study is stimulus-response theory. This study\u27s results significantly influence the effectiveness of CSR messages in forming the company\u27s image. In this study, it was also seen that the message was produced and conveyed to the audience and stakeholders of lia s. Associates Branding & Design Agency is quite effective through Instagram content. The message of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in lia s. Associates Branding & Design Agency can be said to be very good. By using and utilizing content visually and well-informed storytelling, many respondents in this study, could understand the intended message
States Interests and the Politics of Migration: Controversy of the Global Compact for Migration
No full textThe establishment of Global Compact for Migration (GCM) was considered as the first important step for the international community to comprehensively address the issue of global migration. However, there are certain objectives within the compact that is considered as vague and unfavourable by several states. Previous studies have explored the advantages and disadvantages of GCM but did not address the specific argumentation that creates disagreements between states. This paper uses the theoretical approach from realist perspective to investigate how certain stipulations within the compact are in contrary to certain actors’ interests, specifically the interests of key state actors in global migration governance. Using qualitative methodology, the analysis began by exploring stances of notable states that opposes the compact. The findings discovered that the GCM failed to recognise the core problem of migration itself which is the management of regular and irregular migrants. The result of the study indicates that states’ rejection towards the Global Compact for Migration are mainly driven by the incompatibility of the compact’s goals and objectives with their national interest, particularly concerning sovereignty and national security
Why Did China\u27s Assertive Strategy on the Himalayan Border?
No full textThe development of differing perceptions of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) has been one of the constant factors leading to the protracted dispute in the Himalayan border. Since the outbreak of war in 1962, recriminations and clashes between military forces have continued along the 3,488 km disputed area. Since 1980 both parties have continued to make efforts to resolve disputes with a fair and acceptable solution. Unfortunately, the initiations of these peace efforts have always been deadlocked. At first, in responding to India, China preferred to be passive. However, recently China has begun to respond with an assertive behavior. The deployment of army troops, military equipment, covert attacks, and massive infrastructure development was carried out by China in strategic Himalayan border. This study explores the changing of China’s assertive strategy in the Himalayas by employing offensive realism and using qualitative approach. This study has found that the changing behavior of China’s is related protecting its national interests and territorial sovereignty as well as a form of affirming the stability of China\u27s dominance in the region. This study\u27s results will provide an overview that there has been a shift in China\u27s strategy for managing its border conflict with India
Halal Certification of Indonesian Cosmetics Products: New Protectionism and the Rise of Islamic Populism in Indonesia
Get PDFThis article aims to explore the impact of halal certification of Indonesian products and the interplay between halal certification, Indonesia’s economic interest and International Trade Regime. This research uses qualitative approach taking Indonesia case study by collecting secondary data from varied sources. The findings indicate that the massive awareness of halal products especially cosmetic is not solely motivated by religious motive. The halal product is not substantially driven by religiosity. In fact, to understand the meaning of halal, this paper argues that companies that trade halal product do not follow Islamic values. Further, this paper suggests that Islam does not support economic system that prioritizes a few parties, put women as an object, not environmentally friendly, or wasteful. On the contrary, it promotes an order that is not fair for all. However, this paper further argues that halal trend in Indonesia trade system is more about the rise of Islamic populism. WTO therefore, has to be cautious on accommodating halal labelling in international trade. It must be opened to the needs of Islamic countries yet it has to be aware that it may become new form of protectionism which is unfair for global trade standards
