ANALYSIS OF FLEXIBLE WORKING ARRANGEMENT (FWA) POLICY IMPLEMENTATION IN EAST JAVA PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT RESPONDING TO SECURITY SITUATION: EDWARDS III MODEL PERSPECTIVE
Get PDFThis study analyzes the implementation of Flexible Working Arrangement (FWA) policy enacted by East Java Provincial Government through Governor\u27s Circular Letter Number 11410 of 2025 in response to security dynamics during September 1-4, 2025. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with Edwards III Implementation Model as analytical framework, this research examines four key variables: communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The analysis reveals that FWA policy represents an adaptive strategy successfully balancing employee safety protection and essential public service continuity. Implementation success was supported by structured policy communication, utilization of existing digital infrastructure, strong leadership commitment, and bureaucratic structure flexibility in operational decision decentralization. This study recommends institutionalizing FWA mechanism within permanent Business Continuity Plan (BCP) framework and developing output-based performance evaluation system to measure adaptive policy effectiveness during crisis
DIRECTION OF EDUCATIONAL POLICY IN THE FORMATION OF TEACHER PROFESSIONALISM IN THE SUBJECT OF CIVIC AND CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION IN AUSTRALIA
Get PDFThis paper discusses the direction of educational policy in the formation of teacher professionalism in the subject of Civic and Citizenship Education (CCE) in Australia by reviewing teacher qualification standards, learning strategies, and the implementation of citizenship pedagogy in minimal–maximal contexts. This study uses a literature review method through the analysis of policy documents, scientific publications, and institutional reports related to the development of teacher professionalism. The results of the study indicate that teacher professionalism in Australia is built through comprehensive AITSL standards that emphasize professional knowledge, professional practice, and professional engagement. Teachers act as facilitators who encourage student autonomy, democratic learning, and participation in school and community environments through classroom, extracurricular, and community-based approaches. When compared with practices in Hong Kong, Australian teacher professionalism is more inclined toward the maximal context because CCE learning is directed at creating active citizens who are critical, participatory, and sensitive to contemporary socio-political issues. These findings confirm that Australian government policies make a significant contribution to strengthening teacher professionalism and the effectiveness of Civic and Citizenship Education learning

Get PDFManusia dapat merasakan mixed feelings. Banyak hal yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi perasaan yang bercampur aduk, salah satunya yaitu dengan mendengarkan musik. Dewasa ini, musik secara global didominasi oleh industri musik K-Pop, salah satunya yaitu BTS. Lagu BTS yang berjudul “Fake Love” ini memecahkan rekor YouTube dengan jumlah penonton terbanyak selama 24 jam dengan 35,9 juta penayangan pada tahun 2018. Dalam video klip tersebut terdapat campuran emosi yang dituangkan dalam bentuk visual maupun dengan lirik lagu. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis semiotika Roland Barthes dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 8 tanda denotatif pada video klip, ideologi dan pesan pada lagu Fake Love dan mixed feelings yang digambarkan merupakan perasaan negatif
Rainbows in Pixels: LGBTQ Representation on Animated Content in YouTube Kids
Get PDFThis study examines the representation of LGBTQ themes in children’s animated content on YouTube Kids, a widely accessed platform among children. In Indonesia, such content is controversial due to conflicting social norms. Using representation theory and qualitative content analysis, six animated videos were analyzed through visuals, dialogue, and narrative elements. The findings reveal both explicit and implicit portrayals of LGBTQ identities, including lesbian, gay, transgender, and queer, through human and anthropomorphic characters. These themes appear in various formats such as children’s series, music, and storytelling videos, often subtly embedded within broader narratives. The study concludes that while LGBTQ representation is generally subtle, it significantly contributes to shaping children\u27s understanding of gender identity and sexuality. The research highlights the importance of balancing global inclusivity with sensitivity to local cultural values in media policy

The main focus is given to the artificial flower bouquet business by explaining the manufacturing process, tools and materials used, consumer problems, and the market potential it has. Bouquets are everyone\u27s choice when they want to give gifts to loved ones for happy moments such as birthdays, graduations, weddings, and other important moments. Naswav Bouquet uses artificial flowers to last a long time because they will not wilt. Sales offers are made through social media such as whatsapp, instagram, tiktok, and facebook. To support the running of this business, the author takes the raw materials needed through offline and online stores. This study was conducted to analyze the Naswav Bouquet business using the SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) and BMC (business model canvas) methods to determine development strategies for the Naswav Bouquet business. The artificial flower bouquet business was identified as a promising opportunity with affordable initial capital and significant profit potential. The artificial flower bouquet business can be an effective strategy to increase creativity, financial independence, and positive contributions to society
Integrating CVSS, OWASP, and APPI for a Comprehensive Risk Analysis of SQL Injection Vulnerabilities in E-Commerce
No full textPurpose: By integrating the technical severity evaluation provided by the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS), the business risk assessment framework of the OWASP Risk Rating Methodology, and the legal compliance standards outlined in Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), this study aims to conduct a holistic risk analysis of SQL injection vulnerabilities within e-commerce platforms. The primary objective is to offer stakeholders a robust and actionable model for enhancing the security of online shopping environments.
Methods/Study design/approach: This study employed a mixed-methods experimental case study approach. A custom-built, intentionally vulnerable e-commerce web application was subjected to a simulated SQL injection attack to extract fictitious user and transaction data. The technical severity of the vulnerability was quantified using CVSS v3.1, while the OWASP Risk Rating Methodology was applied to assess the associated business risks. Additionally, the legal implications were evaluated in accordance with Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).
Result/Findings: The simulation confirmed that a SQL injection attack could extract sensitive personal and transactional data. The vulnerability was rated “Critical” with a CVSS v3.1 score of 9.1, and the OWASP assessment indicated a “High” business risk due to financial impact, APPI non-compliance, and privacy violations. The leaked purchase history was classified under APPI as “Personal Information Requiring Special Attention.”
Novelty/Originality/Value: This study’s main contribution is its integrated methodology that links CVSS, OWASP, and APPI frameworks to assess cyber threats. It offers a multidimensional view, showing how a technical vulnerability can lead to serious legal and business consequences under specific data protection laws
Strengthening ASEAN’s Stabilizing Role via ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific
No full textThe Indo-Pacific has become at the forefront of geostrategic rivalry between the United States and China, which has implications for region’s political, security and economic stability. As the only regional institution with multilateral capacity in the Indo-Pacific, ASEAN faces the challenge of maintaining its neutrality while strengthening its centrality. This context explains how, through the 2019 ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP), ASEAN seeks to reinforce its stabilizing role by adopting preventive, mitigative, and adaptive strategies in response to regional power shifts. Using a descriptive qualitative method and the statement of strategy concept contextualized with neorealism, this study analyses the AOIP is an ASEAN’s strategic response to regional power competition between the great powers. The finding shows that AOIP, as neutral framework, aims to foster cooperation in various sectors, including industry. ASEAN\u27s neutrality is also tested in policymaking, particularly among Southeast Asia members, as it strives to manage tension between major powers while maintaining its coherence, relevance and influence in the evolving Indo Pacific order

No full textA deep understanding of the close relationship between the Endowment Fund Policy in Education and the Grand Design Policy of National Talent Management in Indonesia is analyzed in this article through the perspective of policy coherence. By applying the nexus approach, this study aims to understand how these two interconnected policies can synergize optimally to advance human resource (HR) development at the national level. Qualitative analysis of policy documents and related literature indicates the potential for significant relationships, where endowments can act as a stable long-term funding source for various talent development initiatives. However, to achieve maximum synergy, effective coordination and integration between various stakeholders and institutions are absolute prerequisites. This article will also highlight the various opportunities and challenges faced in efforts to realize policy coherence in order to achieve sustainable and globally competitive HR development
PREDIKSI HARGA SAHAM PT TELKOM MENGGUNAKAN METODE CNN-LSTM
No full textPT Telkom sebagai perusahaan informasi dan komunikasi terbesar di Indonesia, memiliki harga saham yang menarik minat investor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi yang mampu memprediksi harga saham PT Telkom menggunakan metode CNN-LSTM. Tantangan dalam memprediksi harga saham meliputi volatilitas pasar, keterbatasan data historis, dan kompleksitas faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi harga. Metode CNN digunakan untuk mengenali pola spasial dalam data, sementara LSTM mengatasi masalah vanishing gradient dan menangkap dependensi jangka panjang. Model CNN-LSTM diuji dengan berbagai kombinasi hyperparameter, termasuk learning rate (0.001, 0.0001, dan 0.0005), kernel size (3, 5, dan 7), dan jumlah epoch (30, 50, dan 100). Hasil terbaik diperoleh dengan konfigurasi learning rate 0.0005, kernel size 7, dan 100 epoch, yang menghasilkan nilai Mean Absolute Error (MAE) sebesar 56.13, Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) sebesar 75.75, dan koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0.973. Hasil ini menunjukkan kemampuan prediksi yang baik dari model. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi bagi investor dalam memprediksi harga saham PT Telkom dan membantu pengambilan keputusan investasi
PENGARUH FITUR SUBTITLE DAN AUDIO PADA PLATFORM STREAMING ANIME TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENYIMAK BAHASA JEPANG
No full textPopularitas anime di Indonesia meningkat pesat berkat kemudahan akses melalui platform streaming legal seperti Netflix, Bstation, dan Crunchyroll. Fenomena ini membuka peluang pemanfaatan anime sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa Jepang terutama dalam keterampilan menyimak. Meskipun penggunaan platform streaming semakin meluas, pemanfaatannya sebagai sarana pembelajaran bahasa asing masih belum banyak dikaji secara sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara fitur-fitur pada platform streaming anime seperti kualitas audio dan subtitle dengan kemampuan menyimak bahasa Jepang. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelasional. Instrumen utama berupa kuesioner skala Likert 4 poin yang disebarkan secara daring kepada mahasiswa Sekolah Vokasi IPB yang merupakan penonton anime aktif dan memiliki pengalaman belajar bahasa Jepang. Data dianalisis menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan kategori tingkat skor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fitur audio dan subtitle pada platform streaming dinilai sangat membantu dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak, khususnya dalam memahami kosakata baru dan mengikuti kecepatan bicara penutur asli
